Restaurant fermé sans avertissement lors de la réservation, mauvaise surprise en arrivant, chambre petite, douche très très petite, lit pas confortable, odeur dans la chambre pestilentielle (humidité, acidité) propreté douteuse. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026Habitación espaciosa , con vistas muy bonitas al mar. Tienen servicio de transfer al puerto que viene muy bien ya que está bastante alejado y con las bicicletas y el equipaje no se puede llegar hasta él. Desayuno incluido en el precio correcto .
El staff no es demasiado amistoso, alquilamos unas bicicletas mediante ellos y se las llevaron sin avisar , no eran 24h de alquiler sino 1 dia según nos djeron y nos dejaron sin transporte . Hay opciones mejores y por el mismo precio sino lo buscas por tu cuenta . En cuanto al precio, es caro para lo que ofrecen , hemos estado en sitios iguales por la mitad de dinero. El restaurante del hotel estaba cerrado a excepción del desayuno.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026O café da manhã não é estilo buffet, porém é mais do que satisfatória a quantidade de comida oferecida, a qual também é muito saborosa. O ar condicionado funcionou perfeitamente bem. Foi oferecido traslado gratuito para o porto tanto na chegada quanto na saída. Também havia toalhas de praia gratuitas à disposição. A vista para o mar era linda (mas o hotel não possui praia na frente, apenas rochedos). A praia Anse Patates desaparece na maré alta. A praia Anse Severe, que também é bem próxima, é bonita.
O banheiro é grande, mas a cabine do chuveiro é pequena e não possui cortina, espalhando água pelo piso do banheiro. A iluminação do banheiro é um pouco fraca. O hotel fica um pouco longe do centrinho e dos restaurantes da vila e de noite o caminho é mal iluminado, mas não há problemas de segurança na ilha, a única desvantagem é a caminhada mesmo. As varandas de todos os quartos são interligadas, o que reduz um pouco a privacidade. Durante a minha estadia, a mobília da varanda foi colocada dentro do quarto, então não foi possível desfrutar a varanda.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026L’emplacement est idéal entre les plages anse sévère et anse patate. Le lit était confortable. Le ménage était bien fait tous les jours. Il y avait une douche à l’extérieur avant les chambres pour limiter le sable dans la chambre. La vue depuis la chambre sur l’océan est très sympa. Le gérant était sympathique et de bon conseil. Ils avaient décoré la chambre pour notre arrivée (voyage de noce), c’était très mignon.
La salle de bain mérite une remise à neuf. Il y a énormément de fourmis. Attention, la vue sur l’océan se mérite, il y a pas mal de marches pour arriver aux chambres. Le prix de la chambre alors que la salle de bain serait à refaire et qu’il n’y a pas de piscine est élevé.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026The hotel has two main positives: beautiful views from the balcony and a very good breakfast.
However, it is a very limited 2-star hotel. Staff are only present in the morning; after midday, there is absolutely no service. The in-room safe is also very small and cannot fit a laptop. The hotel is a bit far from town, so a bicycle is almost essential, although parts of the road are dark at night and taxis are limited. Finally, check-out at 10:00 was very strict. Despite many rooms being available, they refused to let us stay even 1–2 hours longer before our ferry, leaving us waiting outside until our transfer arrived. Very little flexibility or consideration.

Pokoje bardzo stare, wymagające remontu. Brak możliwości zakupienia dodatkowych posiłków np obiadu czy kolacji, a do centrum ok 20minut pieszo. Zakup wody w cenie kilkukrotnie wyższej niż w sklepie. Brak zainteresowania gośćmi, i odległość od centrum w przypadku poruszania się pieszo też na minus. Jest wiele obiektów na booking w tej samej cenie i żałowaliśmy że przenieśliśmy się tutaj.

1/5 – Extremely Poor Value for Money Hotel l' Ocean may market itself as a hotel, but in reality it feels more like a property that has not seen meaningful investment for many years. The infrastructure is severely outdated and would not come close to meeting typical Western hospitality standards. Perhaps some guests may consider this acceptable by lower regional standards, but it certainly does not justify the rates being charged. The photographs speak for themselves: exposed and improvised electrical installations, aging network equipment hanging on walls, damaged flooring, corroded air-conditioning units, poorly maintained plumbing, and visible signs of neglect throughout the property. To reach our room we had to climb 54 steps, a significant inconvenience that is never properly highlighted during booking. The stairways were often decorated with a mixture of dead and living cockroaches, which hardly contributes to a pleasant holiday atmosphere. Luxury can be a matter of taste. Hospitality is not. Unfortunately, the greatest disappointment was not the aging facilities but the attitude of the staff. A warm welcome costs nothing, yet we encountered an atmosphere that felt indifferent, unhelpful, and at times outright unfriendly. I have stayed in modest guesthouses that offered far better service and cleanliness than this hotel. At the hotel l'Ocean, I genuinely struggled to identify a single aspect that met expectations. Rating: 1/5 Outdated facilities, poor maintenance, unpleasant access, and remarkably poor hospitality. I would not return and cannot recommend it.

Toujours disponible et à l’écoute, il a su répondre efficacement à toutes nos demandes, notamment pour la location de vélos et l’organisation de sorties en mer. Grâce à son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse, tout a été parfaitement organisé, ce qui a grandement contribué à rendre notre séjour agréable et sans souci.Sans oublié, la proximité de anse patates à deux pas de l’hôtel.

Reviewed May 6, 2026The Hotel L'Océan is situated at the northern end of La Digue, above the main coastal road and it probably offers the most stunning view you can get on this island! The rooms are pretty big and all with balcony and ocean view. In total good value for money compared to other hotels. The manager was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was the best of the 5 hotels we stayed at on the Seychelles. If you rent a bike (150 SCR p. person/day) you have lots of Restaurants, shops or supermarkets nearby. There is a beautiful small beach just around the corner. We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend this place.
Unfortunately the nice hotel restaurant was officially closed, but we could use it for breakfast and enjoyed the amazing view every morning. There was actually nothing to complain about.

Reviewed Apr 26, 2026Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique ! Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et très copieux, il change tous les matins. La vue sur l’océan est splendide ! Nous avons même pu voir des dauphins depuis le balcon de notre chambre. Hôtel très propre. Très bon emplacement ! À deux pas de la magnifique plage Anse Patates et proche du centre ville.
Les chambres sont vieillissantes..surtout la salle de bain qui mérite d’être refaite et la literie d’être changée.

The rooms require renovation as soon as possible. Even though the staff do their best to keep it clean the old tiles in the bathroom are “dirty-slippery” because of the time which makes it unpleasant to touch.

Na kole je vše na dosah, i když se na první pohled může zdát, že je to daleko. Kousek od ubytování je krásná pláž Bikiny Bottom s nejlepšími bary na ostrově a dále pak ikonická Anse Patates. Vřele doporučuji! Upozorňuji, že v ubytování je hodně schodů, než se dostanete do pokojů, proto by ho nedoporučila nikomu s omezením pohybu.

Готель старий та вимагає реновації, особливо ванна кімната. Стара сантехніка, котра погано працює. Пошарпані стіни з плямами. Не дуже чисто. В номері постійно були мурахи. Під час нашого перебування готель вирішив пофарбувати стіни ззовні, тому дуже воняло фарбою та шуміли працівники. Поруч немає де поїсти, треба тільки їхати до пристойного закладу.

Reviewed Nov 22, 2025Troisième séjour aux Seychelles et deuxième à l’hôtel Océan. Si vous cherchez la plus belle salle de bain de l’île, ce n’est pas l’adresse qu’il vous faut. En revanche, si votre priorité est d’avoir la plus belle vue depuis la chambre ou depuis l’endroit où vous prendrez vos repas, alors l’hôtel Océan est exactement le bon choix. Le véritable atout réside dans l’accueil et la disponibilité irréprochable du couple de gérants, doublée de cette situation géographique exceptionnelle. Autre avantage non négligeable : le transport gratuit pour le check-in et le check-out. Enfin, le rapport qualité-prix est nettement meilleur que celui de son voisin et partenaire, le Patatran. Mieux vaut ajouter quelques euros de plus que de choisir les guesthouses omniprésentes sur l’île, qui n’offrent aucune vue, seulement de la promiscuité qui vous oblige à tirer les rideaux en permanence.
En partir malheureusement ! La trop faible disponibilité des hébergements sur nos dates de séjour.

Le camere purtroppo hanno l'ingresso che affaccia su un muro alto più di 3 metri che impedisce il passaggio dell'aria, solo un asciugamano per la doccia che poi devi usare per tutto il resto .....

Reviewed Nov 8, 2025Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist super und ausreichend. Ausblick ist sehr vom Balkon. Das Bananenbrot ist sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Strandhandtücher verfügbar und jederzeit austauschbar.
Zimmer entsprechen nicht den Bilder. Alles etwas heruntergekommen. Bad ist sehr klein. In der Dusche ist es kaum möglich zu duschen, ohne sich zu stoßen. Die Betten sind durchgelegen. Ein Deckenventilator wäre gut. Standventilator ist im Zimmer aber nervt wenn er die Nacht an ist. Die Klima ist sehr schwach.

Les chambres sont très vieillissantes et rafistolées ( parquet cassé, mobiliers abîmés, dalle plafond ouverte..) le pire reste la salle de bain et encore plus la douche, si on avait vu une photo, on aurait probablement pris un autre hôtel… Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment plus que moyen.

Super netter Service. Wir haben direkt Räder vor Ort leihen können und der Manager hat uns die Insel sehr gut erklärt und viele Tipps gegeben.
Nichts. Wie man auf den Bildern sieht ist die Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem sehr schön.

Der Ausblick ist einfach nur fantastisch. Bei Ankunft gab es gleich Strandtücher, Wasserflaschen,Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer.
Balkon mit einer Stufe nach unten,die nicht wirklich sichtbar ist- Sturzgefahr!!! Das Bad ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, kein Warmwasser in der Dusche.. Beim Bett gab es eine durchgehende Matraze , die leider jede Bewegung des Partners weitergab. Schlafen war fast unmöglich.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2025La vue était magnifique, le personnel très accueillant et aux petits soins. L’hôtel est bien placé avec les plages à proximités, un transfert gratuit ferry/hôtel est proposé. Le petit déjeuné est très bon avec une vue imprenable. Merci encore.

Reviewed Sep 19, 2025Las vistas son estupendas. La ubicación es bastante buena, con dos playas (muy distintas) cercanas. Y el centro está a 7-10 minutos en bici ó 15-20 a pie. El personal fue muy atento. Ofrecen un desayuno muy correcto.
Está previsto que lo remodelen en breve, y ello se nota.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2025La vue depuis l’hôtel et les chambres est incroyable. Le personnel de l’hôtel est très disponible et bienveillant. Possibilité d’avoir un free shuttle depuis le ferry à réserver auprès de l’hôtel. Petit déjeuner super !
La chambre est un peu vieillotte et peu de pression dans l’eau de la douche. Mais l’hôtel va bientôt être complètement rénové et promet d’être exceptionnel.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025Cet hôtel est un peu vétuste et va être rénové mais il est très bien. Lits extra larges et confortables. Le personnel est aux petits soins et de bons conseils. La vue est superbe (vu des tortues de mer depuis le balcon et des dauphins). Le petit déjeuner est excellent et change chaque jour. Je recommande ce lieu.
