Stunning location with beautiful views! Gorgeous drive to the property through hairpin bends (from either direction) on beautiful forested hills. Very friendly people in the shop at the bottom and at Luke’s kitchen… fabulous meal there on opening night!

Good location and the locals are very friendly.

The location was absolutely perfect. The view from the deck was so relaxing. The kitchen was very well stocked for self catering. We also enjoyed an excellent meal at Luke's Kitchen a short walk from the house.

Storm was charming and looked after us really well. The location is amazing and the rooms great. It is the most stunning part of New Zealand

Amazing views! Loved sitting on the deck and looking out at the views. Comfortable lounge area and dining table for the family. Well equiped kitchen. The host has obviously taken on previous feedback and installed an air conditioner and replaced the couch with a very comfortable one. Laundry facilities were good too. Beds were on the firm side. Short walk to the cafe and Luke’s kitchen. Super friendly locals.

A decent 20 minute drive to the nearest Woolworths which isn’t a negative but just worth noting so you can come prepared.

Great location and a spacious, comfortable house. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, taking in the beautiful view. Just a short walk down to the beach.

We stayed at the property in July 2018 and loved the location so much we returned in 2025 and it didn't disappoint.

Absolutely nothing!

Having only one comfortable lounge chair was hopeless, only one wine glass was lacking also. Not having any bedside draws in the bedrooms was disappointing. Not having fly screens on the bedroom windows was also a nuisance.

Room to spread out and having two bedrooms was excellent as we both arrived with colds after the flight so to be able to isolate and get some sleep while the other was coughing and spluttering was ideal. Comfortable beds and towels etc and great shower. Great to have washing and drying facilities although a drying rack would have been useful as it was too wet to dry clothes outside. But we managed with some ingenuity. Great to be supplied with plentiful coffee and tea etc too. Would highly recommend this apartment to friends travelling on the NI. Thank you.

We were unable to get the dishwasher to work on the day we left as it was out of glass washer and couldn’t override that function so to our dismay, although we left the rest of the apartment spotless, we had to leave the dishes for the cleaner to pop through the dishwasher for us. So not a huge issue and would have just been an oversight.

Great ocean view from the deck, so nice to have our dinner out there and see the view every night. Excellent location, 3 min walk down to the main town

Bedrooms get a bit hot in the summer with minimal airflow, we couldn’t find any fans as mentioned in the welcome booklet but not a biggie

Everything about this stay was fabulous. It could not possibly have been any better. We loved the location, the home and its amenities. Sitting on the full length deck on the front of the house facing the beach was awesome. Easy drive to a number of beautiful beaches as well as the Kuoatunu which was less than a 5 minute walk from the home. Free wifi available which was also great.

Great location and views

Absolutely perfect Bach at the cutest Coromandel town. In our 6wk NZ vacation, this was our favorite rental. So comfortable with beautiful views and easy access to the best beaches. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well equipped and easy to use, laundry with washer and dryer, and bird life all around. Stars here are incredible and could even watch them from vedroom windows. Our only regret is that we didn't spend more time here.

Nothing, we liked all of it.

This was my second time staying. The place has everything you need for a great getaway away - both short and long term. The view is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to the local favourite Lukes Kitchen as well as the local store and cafe. Also an easy drive to Matarangi, would definitely suggest staying here!

This house has been our favourite. It has great views, plenty of space, and all the amenities you need to be comfortable. The only problem occurred at check-in. We didn't receive the code for the key box so make sure you get it in advance.

A perfect place to spend days off from Auckland, with great view and great amenities. Very recommend.

Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed. Brand new home with an amazing view of a quiet bay, beach & dramatic countryside. Great local restaurant and a handy shop. Only over the hill from Whitianga and all its facilities. You really can do as much or as little as you like with all mod cons.
