As it is away from the city it is not congested with heavy traffic. Amenities is also very near. The good part of the hotel room is the big toilet with separate shower and tub. The big rooms and strong wifi connection. Unfortunately the hotel has run down in its standards of maintaining the interior decoration which was really a letdown. Also there were no fridge in the unit which obviously was very essential for long stayers. Food serve during dinner also took very long although it is very delicious, we were too tired to eat as it came more than 45 minutes.

Reasonable price around the area

there was no mini-fridge as promised and the safe was not working and the safety catch at the door was broken and non-functional. staff did their best to help and in the end managed to find a mini fridge and working safe and replaced the safety catch late into the night. The staff seemed Ok and seems to be a higher managment problem of not having proper systems or simply not bothering.

Poor maintenance/cleanliness and need to improve on service. No iron or hair dryer provided.

It’s an impressive Melaka architecture building style, unfortunately they didn’t look after it. The room are smelly and the staff are disappointing

i really dont know where to start. From the moment we arrived, no one was helping us with the luggage, But kudos to the F&B Manager "Azan" whom was there saw my struggle and assist me with my luggages. Kudos to him. Parking is complimentary which was a plus point. Check in was a breeze and we got out room after 10 minutes, Room was spacious but kinda dusty, maybe its due to a long period of vacant, but overall we have a great time, Breakfast spread was good and the service render to us by the restaurant staffs was beyond great. They show great attentiveness to our needs. Great work guys even though we know that you are busy. The hotel has a great ambience and location, but need a lot of changes in order to compete with the nearby hotels brand. This is something the owner and management should look into.

Unfortunately ive been staying at room 139. With no refrigerator and the counter top at the mini bar need to be clean.

Staff is friendly. Fast checkin and out. Hotel manager needs to regularly check room cleaning carried out by cleaning staff

This hotel is located very near to Ayer Keroh toll plaza. The hotel is designed to seen with classic outlook. Certainly, the front office is very polite, friendly and very approachable. Very nice ambience and spacious room. Acceptable variety of breakfast choices. Definitely worth the money paid.

Upon arrival at the hotel around 2.20pm(formal check-in time is 3pm, we called up the hotel to check whether the room is ready for check-in, because if its not, we planned to roam around the hotel area. They said room is ready, so we went straight to the hotel. Sadly upon arrival, they said we need to wait another 30min for the room service to clean the room😦. For a price that we paid: - no mini fridge - no hair dryer - no iron - no laundry plastic - no facial tissue in room - poor breakfast service - dangerous sharp edges of the table that might hit my kids head Will i come here again? No,thanks

Air conditioning not working. only hot air. Not well maintained. Carpet already coming out. Breakfast too basic. Understaffed. The elevator does not function well. No restaurants nearby and in house dining is limited. Poor lighting in room

Had the worst experience so far after years of travelling for business trip. Booked for 2 twin beds room for 2 nights, and reception confirmed it during check in. Went up and found out that they gave us king size bed instead. I was not even mad about it at first but after they gave us lame excuses instead of solution and said we can complain to their management and front desk manager about it, I was a bit pissed off. Told the guy to prepared the right room tomorrow and he even promised that we can be moved to the new room first thing in the morning. Next morning, went down at 7.10am for breakfast and see only 3 main dishes was out, no hot drinks, empty porridge pot, and the kitchen staff just strolling in to work at 7.30am. I was told by the reception when check in that breakfast starts at 7.00am. I ate whatever already served since the omelet I asked for never came since the staff just stands there pretends to cook it. He thought I didn't notice. I'm on a business trip, meaning I'm working and I have to be somewhere for an appointment at 8.00am, not leave the hotel at 8.00am. I went to the reception to check on the room and they said that they didn't receive any notification about it. I literally have to force them to prepare the room as I'm already late to deal with their nonsense. Other than breakfast they actually gave us mini high tea which wasn't even there and the lounge staff was confused. Overall the management was a total mess. Never coming back here again.

Nice classic architectures and spacious place. However, it's quite hot at the receptionist area. The hotel quite strategic because there's malls, petrol stations, attractions nearby. the downside of the hotel is, it looks like the hotel is not taken care carefully. I saw dirty glass in front of the room door, cutlery and plates are greasy in the dining hall. During my check-in, there's no towel, TV remote, mineral waters and cups. So I asked the receptionist to send it to my room. However, waiting for those items was 1 hour long! keeping tab with the receptionist several times. The services very slow. During registrations also the receptionist took about 10 mins each customers. They're lacking of social and common sense skill. Why you need to arrange the chairs while we're having a meal on that table? So unprofessional. They look like fresh graduates but regardless how new you are, you suppose to have great skills handling customers. LIft, very slow and sometimes malfunction. Overall stay was okay. Will I check in here again? I don't think so. I wish the staff services are fast thinkers and all the best for the hotel.

From the sweltering heat of the lobby to sparse staffing, everything says “we only wish we are a 5-star but...”. Mudzaffar looks like they are a hotel training academy specialising in aiming at generating as many as guest complaints as they can possibly get. What they actually do with the complaints is anyone’s guess: probably classify them under OSA. These are the training areas that we experienced: 1. Air-conditioning in lobby not functioning. Probably for vocational trainees under find the cause. Or for finance officers on how to brutally reduce cost. 2. Inadequate staff to handle concierge. Designed for managers who can see the effects 3. Shops not opened. For time management trainees to see relationship between opening hours and revenue 4. Toilet with no hand drying facilities. For maintenance staff is and why the floor and door knobs are wet 5. Late check in: Staff learning to admit guests strictly at 3pm check in time despite hotel near empty on Sunday at 2:00pm 6. Slip shod construction. Meant for building students to see how to frustrate a 5-star claim 7. Room: 2 pillows for a double bed. Not even one extra in the cupboard. TV no reception until a few hours passed by. Room painted, no wall paper. Shower water pressure low. They give only one key card. All for trainees to evaluate the savings made. 8. Upon reaching the room there were 4 plates left by previous guest by the door. When we came back from dinner at 9pm, they were still there. Called reception and they casually replied “we will send someone to clear them” unperturbed by what happened. That off the cuff reply proves training works at this Academy. In all the Mudzaffar Hotel Training Academy is highly recommended for those who are into the academics. Not for a real hotel guest with out of norm expectations of staying in a hotel for comfort and rest.

Definitely the traditional decoration is superb. I like the bathroom design and check-in/out service was fast. Unfortunately, my room had an aircon issue. I am glad the staff was so helpful and prompt in resolving the issue. Thank you!

stayed in family suite. requested 2nd keycard but was denied. the reception said have to wait for all guest to check in then only they can give if got extra. do you really operate with just 1 keycard per room?. no standby card?. its hard for us to go in and out as we are 2 family staying there. then in the suite, master bedroom only got 2 pillow. i asked the reception, it was suppose to be 4 pillow per room. requsted pillow to house keeping, but never recieved. house keeping said a lot of other guest requested for extra pillow, so they dont have enough. but why i only get 2 when it was supposed to be 4?. i got 2 small kid, we really need that pillow. during breakfast, the girl at the counter was so rude. no greeting, no smile and no manners. i went in there, stated my room number and she replied " bagi kupon" without looking at me in a rude tone. when we left, my mother smile at her but then she just looked away. Plug point far from bed No a/c at lobby. so hot. No blower in lift No pool towel some staff need to train how to treat and talk to guest. please improve guest experience and staff treatment. you are 5 stars hotel. but the food was really good. two thumbs up. keep it up.

The hotel was quite full as there were a few corporate events plus busloads of foreign tourists. Still the staff on duty made sure that check in was smooth. I was allowed to check in an hour earlier than the stated time. The room was clean and overlooked the pool.

Wonderful view and your staff is so friendly. its started from check in proccess until check out i can give you 10/10 best service. your receptionist, concierge and your security team all excellent. they always good when engage with me. im like my breakfast during my stay in this hotel. Yes, ABC after my check out period so delicious !! cant wait to come back again to see your restaurant open in your cruise soon.

Check-in was slow and I was sweating while waiting for my turn. When I asked the counter staff about the air-conditioning, he replied that he was feeling hot too (instead of apologising) There was only one staff at the concierge and I ended up carrying all my my stuff from the car, on my own. The bed and pillows were not comfortable to sleep on. Neither hand towels nor face tissues were provided in the room. The Astro channels were interrupted the whole time.

Food for breakfast was very good.. Big room, nice view, nice pool, friendly staff.

Everything was ok except for television coverage..very poor and dissatisfied. Suddenly the volume muted and the pic buffered.

Tempat penginapan yg selesa utk family kecil kami. Bilik bersih dan selesa..berbalaoi dgn harga yg ditawarkan. Cuma susun atur meja menulis agak kurang sesuai. Bucu meja agak terkeluar. Anak dapat luka di dahi dan pipi sbb terlanggar bucu tu. Next time boleh ubah kedudukan utk keselamatan guest expc yg ada anak kecil. Overall is ok =)

Loving the decor from lobby to the room. Spacious room and bathroom. Bit letdown with the room condition-broken chair and unable to lock the door, but staff was very helpful and solve the issue within minutes. 😍

Good service & place...

We came from KL during the weekdays and the traffic was good. It was a 'one night two days' stay with two adults and two children. Parking was available around the hotel with more parking available in the basement. But we were unlucky as most parking was blocked and reserved for a certain political party gathering. The hotel are shaped like a letter 'u' with the swimming pool (M floor) in the middle. Hotel lobby is big and cosy. We did the Check-in at about 4.30pm and it was easy and fast. Two elevators are located close the reception counter while another two elevators are located on the other end of the hotel. We manage to get a room on the 3rd floor facing the pool but the room is next to the utility room. We were unlucky as the hotel was upgrading the utility room with constant drilling to the walls. I went out and asked the maintenance crew with regards to the drilling and they said that it will not take long but did not specify the duration of their work. So I called the reception counter and request for another room. They checked and told me that they have an available room on the second floor and i said its ok as long as i am far away from the drillings. A porter was sent to my room to help us with the luggage. We got into a room on the opposite side of the hotel, still facing the pool, and it was all quiet... albeit for a few moment only. Just when we got on the bed to rest, the drilling followed us. I got out of the room and only then i noticed that we were next to the utility room on the other side of the hotel! What a coincidence. The drilling was over about thirty minutes later, but there was no announcements about any renovation by the hotel. The doors are heavy with peep hole and additional locks but you can hear voices through the door. Dinner at the hotel was not available at the diner as ther only serve BBQ dinner. But you can order Ala Carte menu at the lounge. There are Subaidah restaurant closeby (walking distance) serving mamak food or Mc Donalds (driving is recomended). There are also a MITC Convention Centre, A bowling alley and a mosque near by. Breakfast are available with buffet style. They served local (nasi lemak, roti canai, nasi goreng, mee goreng) and american breakfast with egg station (scramble or omlette) and baverages (juice, coffee and tea). The coffee house is big enough to cater tourist groups. We checked out at about ten in the morning. For your information, the hotel also served lunch cooked by hotel chef 'warung concept' next to the hotel with reasonable prices. I hope this review will give readers some insight about the hotel

The hotel was build according to Melaka's traditional house but bigger. The room is clean and spacious. Only took 5 minute walk to MITC. The pool is famiy friendly with 1.5 and 5 feet depth. Take a walk inside the hotel in the lobby area and you shall find fountains with fish and decorations. With Expedia.com.my I got a better deal.

Everything was okay except for the tv reception. The tv reception was terrible cant watch anything more than 5 minutes without lag. Third time here and the same problem persisted.

I really fascinated with the enterance& lobby.The staff was good.The rooms were huge,I very like it,expecially family suite.my children really love with the swimming pool.I will come again when I come to Malaca.

Nice decorations & environment

The hotel feels relatively clean and new. It has wide carpeted corridor with room doors facing each other. The separate bath and shower area are a thumbs up. It felt exclusive. On the off side, only one key card was given for each room and there are no connecting rooms. Bathtub was slightly stained. No towels when we checked in. Need to request (minor problem). Location wise, it is away from the bustling city.

Sangat selesa,, Cantik.. Bersih dan fall in love dgn hotel ni. Breakfast consider x byk variety tp super sedap. View sgt ohsem.. Location pun strategic. Cuma, towel dah kena tukar yg baru, sebab tuala da agak buruk dan koyak. Tuala sgt x match dgn hotel yg sgt superb.

Near to find food. This particular room I have stayed were out of toothbrush, mineral water, iron and ironing board. It wasn’t the case as I stayed they a week earlier... even the staff puzzled when we requested them to send over the items to our room

Hotel yg cantik tp maintainance perlu dijaga... lampu rosak, carpet x divakum dgn baik, meja tidak dilap (ada bekas air tumpah yg tlh kering), toilet bowl x dibersihkan dgn baik. Hotel ni belum terlalu lama, tp perabot ada yg dah terkopek sana sini.... sayang.... Bilik tak cukup cahaya (lampu tak banyak) walaupun setting hotel spt utk bisnes... tiada lampu meja, tiada lampu tepi katil (atau sy dpt bilik bajet sbb sy booking dr expedia?) Aircond ok.... tp air shower kena tunggu beberapa minit sblm ia panas... Breakfast ok, sgt byk pilihan. Overall ok.

I've called the reception to requested for laundry bag but did not get it after an hour. Then I called again reception to complain but she redirect me to housekeeping to ask it for myself. Hotel besar, cantik,bilik selesa, receptionist ramah. Sebaliknya, kelengkapan hotel amat tidak memuaskan.terasa seperti booking hotel 2 bintang.Kami booking 2 bilik, kedua2nya tidak ada tuala,bila minta kami habya dapat tuala lepas 30 mnit.itu pun call 2 kali ingatkan.Tandas kurang bersih walaupun hotel baru. Drinking water juga ada 1 bilik dapat 1 lagi tidak.iron board juga sama.keseluruhannya, hotel cantik tp kelengkapan tiada.overpriced untuk harga bilik.

Polite staff at the front desk. Big room, good clean bathroom with little soap, no tooth brush provided. Water pressure not strong. Aircond not cold even at the control panel the temperature adjusted to 16 celcius, mattress not comfortable, therefore, sleep quality for me was not good. Breakfast supposed to be ready by 6:30am, but the restaurant only ready by 6:45 am with unfriendly faces staff.
