Super hôtel ! Le personnel est extrêmement gentil. La piscine est superbe, très grande et belle, avec ses jets d’eau. La chambre était très grande pour trois personnes, avec une literie de très bonne qualité. Nous avons très bien dormi. La terrasse est grande et offre une belle vue. La salle de bain est également spacieuse, avec une très bonne pression sous la douche. L’hôtel est propre, bien entretenu et très bien situé, en plein centre. Très bon rapport qualité-prix !

Las vistas, la ubicación, la amabilidad del personal. La habitación era amplia con un balcón tipo terraza muy grande. Y sobre todo su piscina típo infinity.

Fantastic location, easy walk to Mirissa Beaches and local restaurants/shops. Large room with a decent balcony, comfy beds, huge breakfast and very friendly staff.

Corridors look a little tired, but rooms good. No chairs on the balcony.

Завтраки не включены, балкон подтапливает во время дождя, розетки европейские, спасли свои переходники, подушки разные))) в целом комфортно и расположение нормальное, сервис однозначно улучшать за такую цену.

We had a wonderful stay at Ballena Regency in Mirissa. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing, and the hotel’s location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with a cozy bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. The swimming pool was well maintained, and the overall facilities exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was delicious

Sehr großes Zimmer. Modern ausgestattet mit einem großen Kühlschrank. Grosser Balkon. Pool war auch recht groß. Man ist schnell am Beach und bei vielen Shops und Restaurants.

Wir hatten einen holprigen Start mit meiner Kreditkarte. Aircon hat Zimmer mit Wasser überschwemmt.

Loved my stay at Balena Regency Hotel, Sri Lanka. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable and spacious with balcony, and the peaceful atmosphere made it very relaxing.

The stay was comfortable, but one downside was that the hotel doesn’t have an on-site restaurant, which was inconvenient for meals. Dining options were limited, and that could be improved.

The perfect find for our family of 4 for 3 nights! Peacefully tucked away amongst nature but only minutes from main beach/ restaurants. Friendly family run- most delicious and generous breakfast. Very relaxing and quiet pool setting, watched fruit bats fly around at dusk. Highly recommend!

Room Facilities- The rooms were spacious The rooms had a huge balcony where you could have your morning tea / coffee Washrooms had 24/7 hot and cold water Location - The hotel is located at a 5min walk from the beach. Swimming Pool - The hotel has a nice swimming pool. We did not use the pool but it was a well maintained one. Beach Towels - The hotel does provide beach towels

Customer Service - When we arrived the Hotel Manager was not around. But the staff was not aware which is the room assigned to me. They took us to 2 rooms before giving us the key of the 3rd room. This entire process took 30mins+ which was annoying to start with. Room Maintenance - The 2nd room that was assigned to us - The AC was not working, Washroom Washbasin was constantly leaking, and we were suggested to change the room and to go to the 3rd room. Charging for Drinking Water - Across my stay in Sri Lanka every hotel whether a 3star or a 4star provided 1.5 to 2 liters of drinking water for free on a daily basis as we were a family of 3 travelling. Here only on Day 1 they provide free drinking water and start charging you rom Day 2. After a bit of debate, the manager agreed to give it for free, but this ideally should not even be debated.

We had a lovely stay here, the accomodation was so close to the beach and the town.

We only got two towels to do 3 people and got told every day the delivery was coming and we would be given towels but we were not. We asked on the final day and they didn’t want to give us towels.

Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Trubel und ruhig. Die Zimmer waren etwas muffig und stickig. Die Reinigung der Zimmer und entleeren der Mistkübel musste immer extra verlangt werden! Grundsätzlich ist die Familie und das Personal sehr nett und erfüllt, soweit möglich, alle Wünsche aber es geht halt Nichts automatisch (Reinigung)! Vermutlich wurde vergessen, anfangs die Bettwäsche und Handtücher zu tauschen, das mussten wir reklamieren! Sehr gut ist das Frühstück auf der Terrasse am Pool! Für die Ausstattung etwas zu hoher Preis!

Exceptional stay! The hotel is in a perfect location just a short walk to the beach, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a nice balcony view. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The pool area was relaxing and well maintained. Overall, great value for money and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended

The property is close to the beach and really - to everything. Very good location. In the same time it's a bit off from the main road that makes it a quiet place. The breakfast took a bit time but that is usual in Sri Lanka but it was very nicely served and really tasty.

The pool scratched the feet of our kids a little bit but nothing too serious.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The highlight for me was definitely the massive swimming pool—it was clean, spacious, and the perfect place to relax. The hotel itself was top-notch, with great service and a very welcoming atmosphere.

Wyjątkowy hotel w miejscowości Mirissa. Bardzo ładne , duże pokoje z wielkim balkonem i widokiem na basen. Personel przemiły, gotowy spełnić każdą prośbę. Blisko do głównej plaży. Śniadania bardzo dobre. Hotel zdecydowanie wyróżnią się na tle innych oferowanych w tej miejscowość.

Great location for Marissa beach which is a fabulous beach check out the three wooden covered beds on the right hand side as you join the beach. Easy walk to lots of restaurants and bars and shops. The pool is clean and very quiet although we didn’t use it. Bed was comfortable and good sized room with balcony. The lift was very useful.

Shame the mini fridge in the room didn’t have some stock in it. You could ask the staff to bring you drinks to the room if you wanted though so not too inconvenient or you could purchase from a local store. It was nice to sit on the balcony before going out for dinner in the evening.

Great family stay Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere for kids and adults. Everything was well organized and we truly enjoyed our time. Highly recommended for families.

We had a lovely stay at Ballena Regency in Jan 2026. We were there as a family with our 3yo and parents. The staff were really welcoming ,friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we saw some great Birdlife from our 3rd floor balcony. The Sri Lankan breakfast was great,with a range of curries, roti, fruit, hoppers and more. We also ate dinner there one evening and had the best pineapple curry. A lovely pool and all round great place to stay.

The location was good, only 5 mins from the beach, but it was a little tricky to find and there wasn't great access for our van. But our driver managed fine, so maybe its not much of a problem!

Die Lage zum Mirissa Beach und der Hauptstraße mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften war gut.

Das Hotel war für viel zu überteuert. Es war an vielen Stellen schlecht verarbeitet. Im Zimmer war es sehr feucht, sodass die Bettwäsche modrig und feucht gestunken hat. Es war so nicht angenehm zu schlafen. Zwei der vier Kissen konnten wegen dem Gestank gar nicht genutzt werden. Das Internet funktionierte fast gar nicht in den drei Tagen, die wir da waren, sodass wir auf unsere Mobilen Daten zurückgreifen mussten. Am Bett waren keine Steckdosen vorhanden. Das Frühstück war auch nicht gut. Die Waffeln waren verbrannt und so schwarz, dass man sie teilweise nicht essen konnte. Den ersten Tag waren Haare auf dem Spiegelei. Das Personal war zwar nett, konnte aber leider wenig bis kaum Englisch. Für das, was man bekommen hat, war der Preis unverschämt. Wenn dieser Preis verlangt wird, muss an vielen Stellen deutlich nachgebessert werden.

This hotel is a paradise. Amazing people, very big and clean rooms. The swimming pool is just wow, clean, warm and big. Close to the beach and city and in very quiet area. We recommend this hotel 100%. Everything was perfect and very high standart. Thank you all the staff working there for taking such a good care of their clients. We loved their dog Gigi ❤️

L'hôtel est beau de loin mais il ne faut pas regarder les finitions, tu prends peur... Une télé dans la chambre qui ne fonctionnait pas au début, changement de tv mais pas de télécommande 😂😂😂 Finalement, après 24h, la télécommande arrive mais impossible de capter une chaine. Ok, on est pas là pour ça, mais quand c'est noté, il faut que ça fonctionne...

Rummet, sängarna, badrummet var bra. Det låg nära city och beachen. Det fanns kyl o safety box. Man fick oväntade juicer, trevligt!

Fick sent svar om vi kunde få rummet tidigare. När vi väl fick en tid så blev tiden ändå fördröjd en timme. Lite rörigt.

I had a fantastic stay! The hotel has a beautifully calm and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The staff were wonderful and provided top-tier service. My room was huge with an incredibly comfortable, large bed. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. This hotel offers perfect value for money without compromising on quality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and serene getaway!

Las habitaciones del hotel están bien igual que la piscina, desayuno correcto y buena ubicación a escasos metros de la playa.

El mantenimiento del hotel deja mucho que desear, se nota que no le hacen nada de mantenimiento, se ve muy deteriorado por muchas partes. El personal no entiende mucho inglés, es verdad que la recepcionista se esfuerza bastante pero por el precio esperábamos algo más.

Undergoing a refurb walking through wet paint and men working. Very crusty. Rooms are weird and not finished well. No plugs near bed. Light fittings not working, hanging out. A/C spewing water out. Pool dirty. Staff didn’t seem to want to be there. Breakfast was average and very comical. Booked a triple family room and had to request the second bed, seemed a chore. Bed was a plywood box with a mattress on. Overall super disappointing for what we paid and we were there on Xmas Day.

Quiet location a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Big swimming pool. Lovely breakfast made fresh. Room very clean. Big balcony, not overlooked. Staff were very welcoming

No water bottles or coffee in room. Breakfast service slow (not good if you needed a quick eat). Although room was clean and modern. It has not been maintained well and was a bit rough around the edges which was a shame.
