Too much plastic on the beach

L’emplacement et les chambres. Une partie du personnel est très serviable. Nous y avons mangé le soir et la cuisine est correcte. Le café est également très bon.

Une personne à l’accueil ne souhaite en aucun cas aider. J’ai posé la question pour du linge et pour une confirmation de transfert, elle n’a clairement pas voulu faire le nécessaire. Concernant le petit déjeuner, en tant que français je recommande d’aller les prendre à l’extérieur : tout est réchauffé (continental breakfast). Nous l’avions mis dans la réservation, mais ne l’avons testé qu’une fois... Il est dommage de voir les touristes faire le nettoyage de la plage plusieurs fois par jour sans l’aide des employés qui sont bcp sur leurs portables. Je comprends que ce ne soit pas leur job mais il faut penser a proteger un aussi bel endroit. De plus, les chiens des voisins viennent tous les soirs faire leurs besoins en face de la terrasse de l’hôtel...

Direkt am Meer gelegene Anlage, üppiger Garten, stilvolle Gestalung, Bungalows, Betten erfreuen. Im Restaurant am Strand ist es schön zu sitzen.

Bei Westwind wird viel Mist angespült. Aber mehrmals am Tag weggeräumt.

The view is stunning and sunsets are unforgettable. Rooms are big and the bed was very comfortable. Laundry service was excellent.

Staff wasn't nice. I got eyes rolling when I asked for another can of insect repellent because the one that was in my room was empty and I had a full blown invasion of sand flies. Breakfast is what it is - even a single cube of ice is not an option apparently. Didn't really try the restaurant because it didn't have much choice especially for vegetarians. It might be that it was the end of the season, but most people there seemed really annoyed and it felt awkward to ask anything. They do diving but apparently you don't need a licence, they give you some morning training and then good luck... Didn't feel very safe.

Fantastic location, right on the beach. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had a view of the ocean (most don't have this so check this when you book) and it was lovely. The resort is small and has a lovely feel to it with helpful staff, and surrounded by greenery. The lack of pool is no problem as the beach is right there! They provided loungers etc, and the restaurant/bar is great too.

Hotellet ligger perfekt, intill stranden. Servicen är vi helt nöjda med. Vi valde att äta både lunch och middag på hotellets restaurang under vår vistelse - mycket bra. Frukosten var också bra, hade varit ännu bättre med buffefrukost. Hotellet är inte helt nybyggt, vilket märktes men standarden var bra i förhållande till priset och det var välstädat både på rummet och i området.

Kunde ha varit buffefrukost i stället för fasta menyer, men det funkar ju såhär också.

Perfect location, hotel is very nice and staff is kind and friendly. I would very recommend for relax and enjoy Koh Lanta beach.

Le resort est très beau, la chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée. Le lit est TRES confortable ! L'hôtel est situé sur la plage de long beach, idéal pour le coucher de soleil. Il y a des matelas et des parasols pour profiter de la plage. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Man føler virkelig den her trope jungle, bountystrand vibe.. da jeg ankom havde de opgraderet min bungalow til den der lå tættest recetion , restaurent, bar, OG Strand ❤️ sødt personale, lækre faciliteter, og LÆKKER MAD... SÅ sindsygt lækker mad 😋🤤 jeg tænker helt klar at jeg kommer igen engang 😊

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. It’s the little details across the property that quietly add to its charm. The stay had almost every basic amenity we needed, while still feeling peaceful and intimate rather than commercial. The staff were incredibly warm and kind — true Thai hospitality at its best. They helped us arrange tours, cabs, and local recommendations very smoothly, which made the whole trip stress-free. One of the absolute highlights was the sunset massage overlooking the water. If possible, book the 6 PM slot — the golden hour view combined with the sea breeze makes it a genuinely unforgettable experience. A lot of chaotic travellers may skip this property because it doesn’t have a swimming pool, but honestly, that is exactly what preserves its beauty and calmness. No loud crowds, no chaotic resort atmosphere. And when the ocean is literally 20 metres away, you truly don’t miss a pool at all. Breakfast was surprisingly good and included in the stay. They were also very accommodating with our vegetarian preferences, which is something vegetarian travellers will really appreciate. The mango sticky rice was easily one of the best we had during our Thailand trip. This place feels less like a typical tourist hotel and more like a peaceful hidden stay meant for people who genuinely want to slow down, enjoy the view, and experience the quieter side of Thailand.

Des bungalows bien répartis, on ne sent pas les uns sur les autres. L'accès à la plage direct est très apprécié et l'emplacement très bien aussi avec un 7 Eleven à proximité. Les bungalows sont très jolis et le petit-déjeuner est excellent !

Fuite d'eau pendant notre séjour que nous avons signalée. Ça peut arriver...

Todo! Ubicado junto al mar, habitaciones muy confortables rodeadas de hermosos jardines. La comida excelente. La atención de todo el personal, impecable.

This was a very disappointing stay. The staff were not friendly or helpful at all — they simply did the bare minimum and made no effort to assist or make guests feel welcome. The breakfast policy was particularly frustrating. On two occasions, I arrived just a few minutes after 10:00 AM and was refused breakfast, even though other guests were still eating and the kitchen was clearly still open. This felt rigid and unreasonable. Service overall was poor — I was even served the wrong dish when ordering food, which shows a clear lack of attention. The location is also inconvenient, far from the better beaches, requiring a scooter every time to go somewhere decent. I will never come back, and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

De ligging is heel goed. Het strandje met enkele ligbedden was voldoende toen wij er waren maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het te weinig is in het hoogseizoen. Bar aan het strand is lekker en de mensen die er werken zijn aardig en behulpzaam.

De bungalows zijn wat gedateerd en ik miste toch wel een zwembad. Het was allemaal prima, maar ik zou de volgende keer toch voor iets anders kiezen.

Wir waren nun bereits das 2. Mal im Lanta Castaway Resort und haben unseren Aufenthalt wieder sehr genossen! Das Personal ist überaus bemüht, hilfsbereit und freundlich, die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Das Essen ist zu jeder Tageszeit ausgezeichnet und auch die Bar am Strand lädt mit leckeren Cocktails zum Relaxen ein!

Beautiful property with an excellent beach and a great location. The resort staff is wonderful and the food is very good on property. Excellent restaurants with in walking distance - especially Joe’s Texas BBQ across the street. Making plans to come back next year.

Rooms are comfortable and the setting is beautiful with lots of plants and right on the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is delicious, I'd definitely stay here again!

Die Lage der Bongalows ist top, nur einige Schritte zum Meer. Durchwegs sehr nettes Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und sind nur ungern abgereist. Wer geniesst jetzt für uns den wunderbaren Sonnenuntergang und die leckeren Iced Thai Teas oder die Massage mit Meeresrauschen im Hintergrund?

Es gibt nur einen Kaffee zum Frühstück.. Im öffentlichen Teil der Anlage gibt's nur einen mickrigen Raucherbereich.. Desweiteren ist am Strand Rauchverbot

Magari una selezione maggiore dei tour, sarebbe carino avere una panoramica maggiore dei tour maggiormente etici, per esempio il Following Giants o le escursioni alle isole in modalità meno "massiva".

Sehr schöne Bungalow Anlage im Thai-Style , eingebettet in einen wirklich traumhaften, gepflegten Garten. Anlage und Restaurant liegen direkt am Meer, mit eigenen Liegen und Schirmen. Bungalow selbst war geräumig und sauber. Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück und gutes Essen insgesamt. In der Nähe sind weitere Beach Bars , Restaurants, oben an der Straße auch Seven Eleven. Apotheke, Geld Wechsel , sowie weitere Restaurants usw. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

This was our second stay at Lanta Castaway Beach Resort. We like very much the green garden with the many plants, The garden is very well maintained. the beach and the sea. The bungalow and the terrace are accommodating. The breakfast from the menu is very nice with a lot of choices. The quality of the food is very good. This is also true for the restaurant. The food is excellent. To sit on the beach is very relaxing. The sea is very clear and we liked swimming in the sea. The staff welcomed us very friendly.

This time, the beds were not very comfortable neither the pillows. We realized that there many more people on the beach which was not so relaxing.

Love this property and we are already planning our next trip here .. don’t want to review as don’t want people to find out about it and spoil it

Super schöne Lage, der Strand traumhaft.

Jätte fint läge längst ner på Long Beach med solsängar på stranden. Stranden sluttar litet.Fina rum men små. Små specifika detaljer i trädgården att se. Vacker omgivning. Trevlig personal. Ingen frukostbuffe men den var bra med lite olika att välja på.

Bara småsaker som att en toalett stod och rann, gjorde det pissblött i badrummet. Vi sa till och de kunde inte fixa problemet,,,det gjorde jag med lite fixande.

Only complaint entire stay was they were full when I tried to extend due to my flight being cancelled haha definitely not their fault

A really nice resort, we enjoyed our 5 nights here. The room was good, decent aircon & strong wifi. Beach towels, shampoo, water, coffee sachets & creamer provided. Room cleaned & replenished daily. Good breakfast each morning. The grounds are lovely. Not a mass of sunbeds, but enough & they are on the beach and are for guests only.

Bungalows répartis dans un magnifique jardin très entretenu. Le confort et la propreté des bungalows et très bien. Vraiment un endroit charmant avec accès direct sur la plage superbe terrasse avec vue sur la mer .Très très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande à 1000% vous ne serez pas déçu.

Les plats servi au restaurant en rapport à un 3☆ sans plus. Les chaises en bois très inconfortables et lourdes à déplacer. Le sourire du personnel est visiblement juste commercial.

Always loved this place. Been numerous times . Brilliant staff and always made to feel welcome. Wouldn't stop anywhere else on Koh lanta.

Our only gripe is the breakfast,for a place where the food served at both lunch and dinner is excellent we find the breakfast disappointing. Particularly the toast which is like cardboard and unchewable. A change in the quality of the bread would make a massive difference.

It was very chill and beautiful location. Right on the beach with sunbed and nice bar and restaurant. The room is super clean, quiet, huge and spacious. It is perfect to rest here. There are a lot of restaurants nearby for eating out.

I didn't get any welcome drink but I saw other guests had. They took away the sunbed on the beach super early to prepare for their restautrant. I think they chould have leave them still available at least till sunset is done. Wifi is not fast enough to have a video conference call.

Klein resort met comfortabele huisjes aan het mooiste stukje strand. Schoon, stil, aardige mensen en een goed restaurant.

Emplacement superbe, on prend le petit déjeuner au niveau de la plage. La proximité des restaurants, supérette, etc . Les jardins sont magnifiques.

A pretty little row of bungalows leading down to the beach. A wonderful beach you can walk on for miles. Excellent food in the restaurant and a perfect spot for sundowners. Plenty of sun loungers and no fights over them in the morning. Excellent reception staff. A good comfy bed. Also close to the road and further restaurants and 7/11 and bottle shop.

Right on the beach and easy walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants. Stayed in a garden room which was nice. Gardens themselves are beautifully kept. All the staff are brilliant

Beautifully maintained gardens with comfortable, tastefully decorated bungalows - The paradisiac beach and this warm water that invite you for a swim - It's pleasant beach bar and the numerous others that follows along the beach, try one of the many proposed cocktails and have a couch at the beach or try a thai massage ! - Beds are cumfortable - I strongly recommend this place of paradise

Disliked · - The scuba diving school seems to have very comfirmed instructors. Unfortunately we learnt that you needs to books several weeks before your arrival or to stay longer than 4-5 days. Good to know for the next time ! - Despite of this, you can go for a snorkeling. You might think you will discover a lot of colorful marine life below those lagoon-like waters. But apart some sea cucumbers, you will find almost nothing. That's not the hotel fault : Coral is dead from north to south of Koh Lanta so you need to book some teip to koh rok of you want to see some marine life.

Takový Bílý lotos 😀 Klidné místo, krásné bungalovy, přímo na asi nejhezčí pláži na Lantě. Bar a restaurace, 7eleven, indická restaurace, vše dostupné.

The area was cosy, green with trees etc. Great breakfast and personnel.

The hotel was located nearby some river where some slightly dirty water flooded into the sea, hence the water quality was not too good. However walking a little bit away the water was great. The bungalow we stayed in was very small however.

Heerlijk kleinschalig resort aan een prachtig strand. Leuke strandtentjes en goed eten. We hadden graag langer gebleven maar het was vol.

Loved the location straight onto the beach. Nice small hotel with a great bar and good restaurant. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly and try their best to help with anything required.
