Very friendly staff, very large breakfast buffet. Pool is huge and super fun. A little far from the main city, but very quiet. Very large resort.

Schön am Meer gelegen, aber umgeben von Bauruinen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer, da blickt man über vieles hinweg. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und auch sehr bemüht.

Die Anlage wirkte wie leer. Im Zimmer ist ein unangenehmer Geruch. Das Frühstücksbüfett ist für ein 5 Sterne Hotel sehr überschaubar. Alle Gerichte inkl der Cocktails die wir probiert haben waren weitestgehend ohne Geschmack. 5 Sterne waren das nicht.

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und es wurde uns bei gleichem Preis ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und Balkon angeboten. Gebucht hatten wir Stadtblick. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir haben 4 schöne ruhige Tage dort verbracht. Abends im Hotelrestaurant gut gegessen und morgens ein leckeres Frühstücks Buffet gehabt. Es wurde extra heißer Kaffee aus dem Automaten für uns zubereitet. Wir bedanken uns und wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und können es sehr empfehlen.

The location outside the city center, right by the sea, is a major plus. The beach is usually quiet and uncrowded, offering a peaceful setting. This place has a big potential for a peaceful retreat, but it seems management wants to earn from everything/everybody, but if you don't know to whom you address your offer, then you won't have happy clients after all. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of both Asian and European dishes. However, the food quality is typical of standard hotel fare. Luckily, the city offers excellent street food options at a fraction of the price you would pay at the hotel.

The hotel carries a 5-star label, but the experience didn’t fully match our expectations. It’s a very large property, primarily catering to Vietnamese tour groups. There's also an extensive conference and event space on-site, often hosting celebrations and weddings. Unfortunately, loud music, with doors and windows wide open, significantly affects the atmosphere, making it difficult to relax by the pool and at times even on the beach. Karaoke sessions during the day and heavy bass music further add to the noise. It would be helpful if the hotel clarified that their services are mainly tailored to large event groups rather than individual travelers seeking a peaceful beachside retreat.

Second time we stay at this hotel resort and everything is still as good as 2 years ago. Air-conditioning works as it should and is quiet. Nice breakfast buffet. The swimming pool is clean and big and the ocean is just in front.

Beautiful well kept garden. Clean, nice beach. Nice big pool, and gym is quite good On the downside: absolutely nothing else in walking distance from hotel, and the food in the restaurant was not impressive.

The food in the 8 floor restaurant isn’t great. It’s not bad, but is just mediocre in flavour. Our meals never came out together so we didn’t really have a meal together. Sometimes we got something we didn’t order but kept it anyway.

We spent 3 nights at this fabulous hotel. The swimming pool and the secret garden are the best parts of the hotel. The private beach is also gorgeous. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was always made up beautifully. We enjoyed our stay, Dong Hoi is a hidden gem.

Perfect Hotel to relax if you need a Break. The room was super clean and comfortable and the staff was very kind. The breakfast was a huge Buffet with Vietnamese and more european options! We can recommend :)

A Bit Outside of tow (Not much around), But you can easily Rent a Motorbike directly at the Hotel so you are at the Center of Dong Hoi in 10 minutes!

Clean and beautiful beach. Restaurant has many good options at decent prices. Easy Grab rides to downtown. Avoid week-ends as it'll be crowded with tour groups. Recommend to get a room with seaview. Gym is basic with deficient AC. Very good service from staff.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Gardens and pool lovely and well maintained.Great choice at breakfast even for westerners and restaurant was 1st class. Front of house Tran Thi Thao made us so welcome and Nguyen Van Thang very helpful. A big thank you to James the General Manager who took care of all our needs.

A beautiful place with a nice garden and own beach. Good facilities for relaxation and rest. But the most lovely is the caring personnel, trying to help you with any question you have. Much appreciated, lovely ladies from the reception.❤️

No restaurants or bars near the hotel . No chairs on the balcony

Hotel has nice spacious rooms with balconies (though there was no seating on them). Beautiful views over the pool area and ocean. Pool area was nice and clean and towels provided. Hotel restaurant was good too and the bar downstairs produced some amazing and fresh cocktails for us.

Almost everything was perfect, celebrated our anniversary here and liked the location, rooms, complementary anniversary decorations, restaurant and spa offers a lot. Staff is super friendly and helpful, too. Can absolutely recommend, especially for the price tag.

Minor issue, but the training equipment in the sports room was in a rather bad condition.

Big room but no porch balcony furniture

In a depressed area still recovering from an ecological disaster, looks great on the site but the resort is largely deserted and the area is under construction that was halted some time ago looks like everything just stopped. The people in the town were friendly, Restaraunt selection on the beachside is limited but some good ones within walking distance. Breakfast was included but strangely sparse since there were very very few guests. A made to order venue would be far far better.

This hotel was absolutely stunning. The staff were helpful, kind and friendly. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Vietnam. This hotel is in a developing beach area.. do not let that put you off .. its a pleasant walk to the town about 20 mins or 8 mins in a taxi. The pool and beach are stunning. There is also a wonderful spa service. I think it would be a fab place for a corporate event or wedding too. Wish we could have stayed longer. Special mention to Tran Hong Hu, Nhguyen Huu Holong Haa, at reception they were so brilliant and a real asset to the Hotel.

This place is DEAD! Choose it only if you must! For transfer like 1, max 2 nights. There is almost no other guests so it is very strange, ghost movie, atmosphere. - sauna is extra charge - breakfast is a catastrophe! There is no buffet instead they give you hostel style breakfast: few slices of bread, eggs, fried rice or noodles and little fruits. Ugly coffee, don't even try! - women from reception pressing me to write comment on booking. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL STANDARDS!

I liked that it was on the beach and had a spacious pool. It was probably at least 40 yards so it makes for a nice lap pool. The beach sand is powder soft, first time I've experienced that and it was amazing. No waves (almost like a lake), peaceful. Good location, quiet, the stretch of beach goes on. AC works. Dated hotel but it is clean.

Head receptionist (maybe manager?) tried to extort a 20% fee for exchanging dollars to dong. Just plain old greedy. Thank God we live in a world with all sorts of neat technological alternatives, no need after all! Joke's on you, lady! Hotel is listed as 5 stars but it's certainly not. It's a decent hotel, clean, ok buffet breakfast (get your eggs at the window) but not 5 star. If you see anything that looks better but better priced then just go with that. On the other side of the river is a lot more life and development. I chose this hotel because the price seemed ok, I wanted the solitude, and it was south of the river-mouth so I figured it would be cleaner after a recent storm (prevailing currents will push the stuff north? My guess). Not such a problem but the switch to the mini bar light is tucked to the side and probably hidden behind the coffee pot or kettle, look there. The switch for the light above the bath sink is a tiny little corner button where the plug is. It's the size of your pinky nail or smaller. But yeah, the greedy lady was the worst part of the hotel. The area itself has some cool caves and there are things for you to do for at least a couple days taking it easy.

The hotel is amazing: the room is great with a fantastic view of the seaside and they welcome you with a delicious cake inside when you arrive. The food is delicious and very well presented. The staff is very welcoming and will never let you down. The outdoor pool is stunning and the water clean and at the right temperature to enjoy it at full. You can really experience how the vietnamese are such great people!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The facilities were absolutely beautiful, everything was amazingly clean. Food was so good that we ate there every day and night. Overall definitely recommend as it was amazing value for money.

Nothing it was perfect

Not the usual sort of accommodation we book, but nice to have a version of ‘fancy’ for a change. The pool was epic and gardens beautiful. Staff were super nice and helpful. We had a free upgrade when we arrived for a room with more space and a jacuzzi. The beds were very comfy.

The location - it was good for the beach, but further away from town that we realised. The restaurant was ok, but not in par with the hotel and pool. Soundproofing could be better.

Perfect beach getaway. The hotel was clean and all amenities were available. Shirt walk through the garden to the beach. On site massage and sauna. Would highly recommend!

Everything was perfect. We got a free upgrade upon arrival to an amazing room with jacuzzi on the 7th floor. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the hotel is stunning. Can’t recommend this place enough.

A great space with a private beach, spacious and airy campus with lots of green trees and fresh flowers, clean rooms, bright BF with many local specialties, friendly and hospitable staff. Thank you Goldcoast for giving me an interesting experience when stopping in Quang Binh.

Mostly good staff, nice pool and fitness centre. Good price and very nice room with good view.

Breakfast was mediocre as well as the rest of the food. The facilities weren’t great, only one restaurant open (two are advertised), pool bar wasn’t there. No entertainment, live music etc and I think that is important when there isn’t much else to do in the city and you are quite far away from there.

Love the front desk lady I didn't catch her name. We went off peak so there was literally no one there however I think this is great value for money and facilities when it's a bit warmer and more people. They were very accommodating as we had to switch to them on the day as our other hotel was unsleepable

The breakfast and dinner we had there was pretty average at best and our last day they changed brekky to a la carte which was a bit annoying as we paid for brekky and had to go to a tour early so we didn't get to eat
