Ein Ort der Geborgenheit – eine absolute Herzensempfehlung Schon beim Ankommen in Sakin Ev spürt man, dass dies kein gewöhnlicher Ort ist. Es duftet überall wunderbar frisch und sauber, alles ist mit außerordentlich viel Geschmack und Liebe gestaltet, und das ganze Haus strahlt eine besondere Ruhe, Friedlichkeit und Schönheit aus. Ülkü Hanım und ihr Mann haben hier einen Ort geschaffen, an dem man sich vom ersten Moment an geborgen und willkommen fühlt. Man merkt, dass nicht einfach ein schönes Haus eingerichtet wurde, sondern dass sich jemand Gedanken darüber gemacht hat, was Menschen brauchen, um sich wirklich wohlzufühlen. Für ausgesprochene Wünsche wird eine Lösung gefunden – und erstaunlich oft wird sogar an Dinge gedacht, bevor man überhaupt darum gebeten hat. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles war außergewöhnlich sauber, und die Betten waren unbeschreiblich gemütlich. Auch die ruhige Lage in Alaçatı trägt dazu bei, dass man hier wirklich zur Ruhe kommen und seinen Aufenthalt genießen kann. Besonders geliebt haben wir den wunderschönen Garten. In seiner Mitte steht ein großer Feigenbaum, der Schatten spendet und diesem Ort etwas Beschützendes und Beständiges gibt. Man sitzt darunter und möchte eigentlich gar nicht mehr aufstehen. Was Sakin Ev aber ganz besonders macht, sind die Menschen. Einen so aufmerksamen, herzlichen und gleichzeitig unaufdringlichen Service haben wir selten erlebt. Hier wird nicht einfach eine Aufgabe erfüllt – die Menschen kümmern sich mit ganzem Herzen darum, dass es ihren Gästen gut geht. Unser besonderer Dank gilt deshalb Ülkü Hanım, die diesen wunderbaren Ort geschaffen hat, und ebenso Hüseyin Bey, seinem Sohn Orkun, Yasir und Ege. Ihr alle habt unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Auch das Frühstück war jeden Morgen eine Freude: mit sorgfältig ausgewählten, hochwertigen Zutaten, liebevoll zubereitet und sehr, sehr lecker. Qualität statt bloßer Fülle – genau richtig.

Was diesen Ort wirklich besonders macht, sind die Menschen Da wir während unseres Aufenthalts zwei Zimmer im Sakin Ev hatten, haben wir die Möglichkeit, eine zweite Bewertung zu schreiben. Und diese möchten wir ganz bewusst dem widmen, was uns von unserem Aufenthalt am nachhaltigsten beeindruckt und berührt hat: den Menschen, die Sakin Ev zu dem machen, was es ist. Über Sakin Ev ließe sich vieles sagen: die außergewöhnlich geschmackvolle Ästhetik, die Ruhe und Friedlichkeit des Hauses, der wunderschöne Hof mit seinem alten Feigenbaum, die herrlich bequemen Betten und das erstklassige Frühstück aus sorgfältig ausgewählten, hochwertigen Zutaten. All das macht Sakin Ev bereits zu einem besonderen Ort. Was wir jedoch vor allem mit nach Hause nehmen, sind die Menschen. Allen voran möchten wir Hüseyin Bey nennen, der für uns Kopf und Herz dieses wunderbaren Teams ist. Mit einer außergewöhnlichen Umsicht, Feingefühl und Diskretion kümmert er sich um seine Gäste. Dabei geht seine Fürsorge weit über das hinaus, was man gewöhnlich unter gutem Service versteht. Er hört zu, beobachtet aufmerksam und hat eine wunderbare Gabe, nicht nur ausgesprochene, sondern auch unausgesprochene Wünsche wahrzunehmen – und sie mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen, die uns immer wieder berührt hat. Er tut all das mit einer solchen Hingabe und zugleich so unaufdringlich, dass man irgendwann aufhört, sich wie ein Gast zu fühlen. Man fühlt sich einfach zu Hause. Auch Yasir, Ege und Orkun begegneten uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts mit einer selbstverständlichen, gelebten Herzlichkeit. Ihr Service ist außergewöhnlich aufmerksam und respektvoll, gleichzeitig angenehm zurückhaltend und niemals aufdringlich. Jeder von ihnen trägt auf seine eigene Weise dazu bei, dass es einem an nichts fehlt und man sich rundum gut aufgehoben fühlt. Und über all dem steht die besondere Handschrift von Ülkü Hanım.

Frühstück war perfekt, alles lokale Produkte und immer frisch zubereitet. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, das Personal unglaublich nett (vor allem Hüseyin) und äußerst hilfreich in allen Belangen. Die zentrale Lage zur Innenstadt ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Es hat uns sehr gefallen und wir werden sicher nochmal hingehen.

We were completely satisfied with our stay! The garden is beautiful and the perfect place to have breakfast, with everything arranged so thoughtfully and tastefully. The rooms are also modern and cozy. The location is perfect, with the city center just a 2-minute walk away. The service was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good location, your car is about 50-70 meters can be parked for free. Cool and helpful staff, thank you! Nice garden for breackfast and relaxing. Everything is 5 mins walking from the hotel, but the place is very quiet.

A truly charming little hotel in Alaçatı! Beautifully designed and full of character, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was super delicious. Perfectly located for exploring Alaçatı’s lovely streets, restaurants, and shops. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return!

Everything was amazing. It's a small family run hotel and they were great at recommendations, parking and were very welcoming to our kids. It's a perfect location and close to everything. The breakfast was also amazing.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach wunderschön und authentisch. Das Personal, vorallem Gül, ist sehr sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und engagiert. Alles war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Garten und das leckere Frühstück hat uns am besten gefallen :-) Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohlgefühlt!!

Jättemysigt familjer hotell med bra läge och super trevlig personal som hjälper till med allt möjlig..Vi njöt frukosten på den fina trädgården. Hotell ägaren ger bra tips om omgivningen och aktiviteter som man kan göra. Har varit vid två tillfällen på detta hotell och varit jättenöjd. Jag kommer att åka dit igen. Älskar de små detaljerna på hotellet. Konst vid varje hörn förgyller tillvaron.

We had an amazing stay and totally recommend it! The position is great, super central but a couple of streets of way from the noise of the town (and I appreciated it immensely!). The room was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The garden where we had (amazing Turkish) breakfast was really magical. The staff is so nice and makes the hotel a special place!

Unglaublich süßes Boutique-Hotel mit fantastischem Frühstück im süßen und schattigen Innenhof unter Feigen- und Granatapfelbäumen. Mitten in der schönen Innenstadt, sodass alles fußläufig zu erreichen ist. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das unglaublich freundliche und zuvorkommende Hotelpersonal - wir haben ins super wohl und willkommen gefühlt und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

The hotel is beautiful, with stunning interior design, very peaceful, and featuring a fantastic and relaxing inner garden. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious, and very well furnished. The family story behind the hotel is wonderful, but above all, it’s the amazing people working there who make the stay a truly unique and special experience.

The entire place was very tastefully decorated, with lovely art pieces from local artists. Gorgeous garden and breakfast. Very central location tucked away from the busy streets. Their staff Gül was super nice and made Turkish coffee for us to try, which really made us feel at home.

The restaurant in the back played music loudly at night when we stayed there. Parking was a challenge after 5pm when they closed some roads for cars. The best place is the nearby otopark which the hotel staff provided us with the location. Don't even try street parking since the streets are extremely narrow and often fully parked. It was super stressful to just drive through these streets. And sometimes you would need to backup a long way to let other cars pass. Just drive directly to the otopark.

I loved everything about this place. I am looking for accommodation that homey and has a nice garden. This place is 100 percent suit my expectations. Loved the garden, the clean and chic room. The amenities in the room is great. They provide hair straighteners that my daughter loved. The rooms are spotless. The staf (gül) is so niceeee. She warmly welcome us. She even prepared us light breakfast the first day we come. My daughters love the fig tree in the garden. They let us picked the ripe fig. The breakfast is delicious. The coffee and tea is perfect. The location is very near of the center of alacati but remain quite.

Super cozy, tastefully designed, very clean and tidy. The hosts were sooo welcoming and lovely, and they had a good breakfast spread. We definitely enjoyed our stay, and it’s only mins walk away from the Main Street.

During my 14-day trip to Turkey, this hotel quickly became my favorite. Before my stay, they reached out to me via WhatsApp, offering any assistance I might need, inviting me to reach out if I had questions. Upon entering, I was welcomed by the beautiful paintings by the owner, which adorned the open common area. The space had a simple, natural charm, and walking through the doors to the garden revealed a peaceful orchard filled with olive, apple, lemon, and pomegranate trees. As I opened the door to my room, the aroma of wood filled the air. The stone walls of the room evoked a sense of history and warmth. After check-in, the friendly owner kindly shared recommendations on local attractions. In the evening, I was treated to a cup of Turkish tea (çay) from the owner, which I enjoyed in the lovely garden. If I visit this area again, I would definitely stay here once more. Many thanks to the owner for such warm hospitality!

Everything about this place was wonderful. The only small issue was the in-room Wi-Fi. I stayed on the ground floor in a stone building, so the signal inside the room was a bit weak. However, just stepping outside the door, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. This didn’t bother me much, as right outside my room was the beautiful garden. Sitting at the small table by the door, sipping （cay ) tea and enjoying the garden view with good Wi-Fi was perfect for me.

Gockce was there to meet us at Check in. What a pleasant host, he made us feel really special. What a treat at breakfast, we were exposed to real Turkish hospitality and given a comprehensive lesson into traditional Turkish foods we were given to eat. All over a great experience.

One of the highlights of our Turkey trip! Exceptional location: 2-3 Minute walking distance to the center yet very quiet. Amazing breakfast in a beautiful garden. Many locally sources food items and different options on different days. Staff was so kind and helpful in recommending us nice beaches and restaurants, and they are excellent conversationalists. Greatly enjoyed our interactions with them and you could tell they really cared about us having a good vacation.

I wish i had words for this heaven on earth. SAKIN which means peacefull calmness. Thats the exact magic this place makes u feel. Gokce is one of the best host ever. Peaceful from his soul. Warm from his heart. Me and my wife were made to feel like a king and queen. I can write a whole story on this place and its owner and host. I promise u wont regret staying in this place. Calm peaceful warm earthy village like feel. The outside garden has trees of mandarin, fig, and lemon. I will not forget this place till death. I mean each and every word ihave written here.

A great stay overnight. Rooms were sympathetically renovated d showing the historic features of the accommodation. The hosts were amazing and very proud of their business. Helpful guiding us to nearby restaurants and beautiful scenery for our journey back to Izmir. The hospitality was superb, breakfast so fresh and tasty. Will be back for another weekend retreat.

It is a homey little hotel .Nice hosts, they were extremely helpful and welcoming people, excellent location, close to the main street of Alaçati. Good and well equiped bathroom.

It´s not a bad hotel at all but it´s way overpriced for what it offers. I know Alaçati is considered a very expensive city with its boutiques hotels but even though,some items must not be missed in an average boutique hotel room. Seemed much better by the photos. Good taste decoration , but simple and minimalist. No TV!!!, (although it was advertised here as having TV), no fridge or safe in the room also. You can´t get there with a taxi so prepare yourself to drag your luggage throughout cabble paved streets for kind of 200 meters( not recommended if you have a lot of luggage)

Location is great. Located in Alacati village. Very walkable to restaurants and bars. Gokce, the manager, was exceptional. He was so helpful, and accommodating to all our needs. They had free breakfast as well, a delicious Turkish breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owners and staff were extremely friendly and amazing people. Great conversations, recommendations and a smile the whole time. The facilities themselves are spectacular, with an amazing backyard. The breakfast is delicious with a secret item added to the menu every morning. The location is prime, right next to some of the nicest restaurants and shops in Alacati, but far enough to not be affected by the noise. For someone visiting Alacati, I would 10/10 recommend Sakin Ev!

When you travel it’s not only places you visit matter but also people you meet. Here you’ll meet best company and would feel yourself at home. Actually it is a home in super wonderful location in downtown but quite enough for the rest and good sleep. Definitely you gonna enjoy your breakfast place within small cozy yard with trees shadow to keep you covered from sun. Rooms are decorated with antique furniture and love and care! 💜

Like it’s name, it’s a beautiful Serene House. Everything about it is perfect - location, rooms, food and people. It’s the people who make the house beautiful and it’s true for Sakin Ev. Apart from above what stood out was the fact that you could refill your water bottles. As an eco conscious traveler it’s a very big factor for us. This was the only stay in Turkey which didn’t use plastic water bottle and for that reason we loved it all the more. Thank you team Sakin Ev for everything. We will definitely come back.. hopefully soon

Exceptional service! Amazing location! At the heart of alacarti this beautiful property let u experience the best of the village. We were given recommendations to eat- visit and everything and they were solid 5* places. The highlight of the trip was their fleet of electric mountain bikes! Amazing stuff! Words cannot explain the fun we had so I will attach some pics!! I have kid and all of us had a brilliant time at Sakin Ev! From the owner to everyone there, thank u very much! Highly recommended!!

Amazing experience with Sakin Ev! Location - in the heart of old city. Few steps and you dive into street life of Alacati. Great team managing the hotel - extremely supportive and helpful. Building itself despite being old is very fancy inside, boutique styled and fine tuned with modern set-up, what makes you feel relaxed from the very entrance of the hotel. Inner yard is great to spend time during breakfast and at the eve. Breakfast itself is fantastic, everything you need to know about Turkish breakfast. Hope we'll have a chance to return for longer stay - thanks for feeling like home)

The only detail which people should keep in mind - building is located on walking street, so it takes some time and map to find place during first time. Also would be good to have small electrocar/scooter for guest transfers to/from nearest bus station (as option).
