It's a little dated, could be spruced up a bit considering its exceptional location. It was sad to see the condition of the out front hotel name signage.

Zimmer zum Strand hin sind laut wegen einer gut befahrenen Strasse und Palaver. Die Zimmer sind mehr als spartanisch eingerichtet, es fehlt jeglicher Komfort und sie haben keinerlei Aufwertung erfahren (im Gegenteil!), dafür hat sich der Preis wohl seit der Handänderung verdoppelt, was völlig überrissen ist.

Room AC didn’t work to cool the room. Toke all afternoon to resolve the situation. Finally we were relocated after hours of complaining .

Loved the view and loved the location.

Staff were not coordinating properly with management and we were without air-conditioning for our entire 7-night stay (the room was WARM). They were alerted daily and always said something would be done but nothing was done. They were kind enough to cover 1 of the nights for us but we feel more should have been done. Considering it was our Honeymoon, we were overall quite disappointed more wasn't offered back to us.

Really like the location front desk person really fun. Had a bad experience mattress really bad and the room was dirty and they forgot to change the sheets. It was pretty bad.

The breakfast buffet was really small, but there was enough coffee and some tasty chocolate pastries ! Would have loved some local fruits or so. The staff was always very helpful, but seemed confused often and in the two days I was there I felt like I saw way too many different faces at the reception. The room was very simple. But I want to praise the very nice duvets (different from usual portuguese standards where there is a simple sheet with a comforter on top), very hygienic! The location is fantastic, as it is two steps from the sandy beachfront.

The shower could have been cleaner (quite dirty deposits that needed good scrubbing). The mattress was uncomfortable !

Ideale Lage in der Nähe des Flughafens (10 Min. mit Taxi). Sehr gutes Morgenessen und freundliches Personal.

Close to beachfront and lots of cafes. Very friendly, genuine and helpful staff. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast was terrible. Don't pay for the included breakfast, it's definitely not worth it. Rooms are old and not updated well.

There was no onsite parking, and from Sun-Fri you need to pay the meter.

Os quartos sao muitos pequenos e muito quentes. Com puca luz. O pequeno almoço não foi no hotel. Tinhamos de nos delocar a outro hotel para o pequeno almoço

Lors de notre arrivée, on nous informe que le petit déjeuner devait être pris sur place, mais le matin il n'y avait personne et pas d'indications pour nous informer que nous devions aller le prendre dans un hôtel à côté.

Lokalizacja hotelu jest duzym atutem - blisko centrum miejscowosci, blisko promenady nadmorskiej. Bardzo wygodny, czysty pokoj. Personel hotelu jest bardzo uprzejmy i pomocny. Dobry przystanek podczas podrozy.

Nie mam nic do wskazania.

Breakfast was the best. Loved the bread, butter cheeses, all the terceira/goodies Staff were very simpáticos and always ready to attend us in anything we need. Thank you

O quarto tinha alguns utensílios com ferrugem, inclusive a banheira.

Limpeza exemplar. Equipa fantástica cheia de boa energia, simpatia e prontidão. Pequeno almoço composto e saboroso.

O hotel Varandas do Atlântico tem uma excelente localização. É particularmente útil para quem necessita de ir à Clinica Médica da Praia da Vitória pois localiza-se muito perto, necessitando apenas uma pequena caminhada de alguns minutos para lá chegar. O quarto era grande e a limpeza foi ótima. Boa relação preço-qualidade.

Para realizarmos o check in e check out do hotel Varandas do Atlântico tivemos que nos deslocar a outro hotel que se localizava noutra rua, o que foi um pouco estranho. Para aceder aos elevadores era necessário subir/descer escadas, o que não faz sentido pois um dos usos principais de elevadores são para pessoas com baixa mobilidade que terão dificuldade na utilização de escadas, o que foi o caso do meu pai durante a nossa estadia.

Preço qualidade muito bom

O quarto estava limpo.

Primeiro quando la chegamos esperamos meia hora e não tinha ninguém para nos atender. Nem mesmo aviso como fazíamos. Depois nao tinha a nossa chave do quarto, tivemos k ir ao hotel debaixo buscar e fazer chekin. Depois o quarto que nos derem a fechadura estava estragada. Vierem nos arranjar um quarto na parte de traz do hotel em que nao tinha varanda como tinha escolhido. Nao gostei. A única coisa que me fascinou foi onde esta situado .

Tudo. Tivemos upgrade para o Praia Marina. Uma maravilha de hotel, vista magnífica, limpeza excecional, funcionários magníficos, adoramos o miminho que deixaram no quarto.

Low soundproofing windows, small bathtub. Needs improvements. Roof at the checkout near the counter was leaking water but it wasn't rainwater because it wasn't raining.

Engano, na altura da reserva estava incluido o pequeno almoço, quando lá cheguei não estava era a parte e tinha o custo de 12,50. Ora, o valor pedido face ao que era ofertado era ridículo

As refeições são muito boas e a localização ótima.

O jantar do 1º dia não foi servido e deram-nos um voucher para ir jantar a um restaurante ali perto. Mas a qualidade desse restaurante era muito fraca.

Loved the beach front access. Everyone was super kind and helpful. It was very clean and my room was very comfortable. Really cute place and great price. I was just here as a long layover to fly out next day. I’m glad I booked it.

The beach view

We arrived around 10am, were told they couldn’t guarantee the room to be ready until 3pm which was understandable. They held our bags and we returned at 3pm to be told our room was not ready due to short staffing. We were told 30 minutes, but once returned, still waiting until 4pm. Once In the room, we found our bed request for a king wasn’t fulfilled and got two twin beds. Once at the desk again they explained they do not have king beds even though our request was approved in an email, they placed a topper to connect the beds. We were told towels are available for the beach so we proceeded to the room to change into bathing suits but once at the front desk we were told there was no more towels. Did not recieve towels until we returned from beach. In the morning we asked for an hour extension because of the delayed checkin by 2 hours and were denied.

Vista, conforto, localização. Senhora do Housekeeping com quem nos cruzamos era extremamente querida e simpática!

Falta de simpatia dos funcionários principalmente da senhora que se encontrava no pequeno almoço. No ato do check in fomos informados que só haviam camas Twin, quando na reserva um dos quartos era duplo (acabaram por resolver a situação). No primeiro pequeno almoço estivemos cerca de 30min à espera que repusessem as coisas do buffet e só após irmos à receção é que foram repostas.

Localização muito boa! Funcionários muito simpáticos. Pequeno almoço e jantar, muito bons. A cama era bastante confortável.

O hotel está a precisar de intervenções, o chuveiro do quarto estava estragado, numa das noite começou a pingar água do tecto na receção e em outra o elevador não estava a funcionar, tínhamos de subir os andares todos pelas escadas. A limpeza também deixa muito a desejar.
