Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Comfy bed and in a great location. You have the option to pay £10 for a late check out until 12pm. Free to come and go as you please with keys to the property. The price of the room was great for what you got.
The shower pressure in room 19 wasn’t great and was more of a trickle. Cleaners knocked on the door just after 10:30 to say are you checking out. I informed them we paid for late check out but they said they were not aware of this. Once I told them they did apologise for this.

Das Zimmer war für die kurze Zeit ausreichend groß, das Bett war bequem und es war toll, eine Badewanne zu haben. Ausreichend Tee & Kaffee vorhanden. Kurze Wege zum Strand oder Wintergarden's. Ich habe mich insgesamt echt wohl gefühlt.
Ein kleiner Schrank oder ein kleines Regal für Kleidung wäre toll. Ansonsten war mein Zimmer leider sehr hellhörig, ich bin durch Nachbarn oder das Personal im angrenzenden Lagerraum bzw die Reinigung der anderen Zimmer jeden Morgen früh aufgewacht, Ohropaks reichten mir leider nicht aus. Ansonsten wären es locker 9-10 Punkte geworden!

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026We stayed in the standard king room which was a bigger room than most in Blackpool and plenty of space for two people. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There was plenty of hot water. It was no frills but everything you that you would need. It is in a great location and the housekeeping staff were very cheerful.
The 10:30 am check out.

As previously mentioned,it was very small. The bathroom was ok but the shower pressure wasnt great! Would have benefited from a small shelf to put toiletries on.

Everything, no hot water, no water pressure in the shower, was unable to shower there, gave us half a roll of toilet paper for 4 days, smelly sheets, don’t think they were changed from previous tenants, beds was about 30 years old, stank as well, thin walls, heard everything and I mean everything next door, tried to call the owners to rectify this 4 times a day for 4 days and never answered once, I’ve slept in some shitholes before, but this was by far THE WORST PLACE IVE STAYED IN MY LIFE

The bath was fabulous and a real asset compared to having a low end bugget shower like other hotels in the area. Fabulous place to stay... Definitely the best about for the price.

The Malibu Hotel’s strapline is Welcome to Paradise, the hotel is far from that! The carpeted floor needed vacuuming, décor dated, TV miniscule, antiquated and often blighted with poor reception. The bathroom was poor and outdated.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2026We needed a place to stay as we were going to a show at the Winter Gardens. It's cheap and cheerful, no frills, but the room was absolutely fine for what we needed. The bed was comfy and we slept well with no noise.
We had to request more towels as only one each was provided, girls need one for their hair and one for their body. This was quickly rectified. The shower was difficult to get to the right temperature. It jumped from freezing to boiling.

Can’t knock anything for the £40 me and my husband paid. Ideal location for town and near the train station. Little reception area was clean and tidy, and the owners bar across the street offering a free shot with our first drink.Room was on the smaller side but not a fault whatsoever, en suite had a bath which is a nice touch to a budget room. Perfect and Thankyou for our stay☺️

All in all very nice hotel and perfect location for everything you needed ( train station , Sainsbury’s, greegs , Blackpool front the beech , we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel
