⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Een prachtige ervaring bij Maison Pic in Valence Ons verblijf bij Maison Pic was werkelijk bijzonder. Vanaf het moment dat je binnenkomt, voel je de rust, elegantie en verfijning die deze plek zo uniek maken. De kamer was prachtig verzorgd, comfortabel en stijlvol ingericht. Ook de tuin en het zwembad vormen een heerlijke oase van rust midden in Valence. Wat vooral opvalt, is de aandacht voor detail en de zeer professionele en vriendelijke service. Alles wordt met zorg gedaan, zonder dat het afstandelijk aanvoelt. Ook culinair is Maison Pic een belevenis. De verfijning, presentatie en bijzondere smaken maken duidelijk waarom de naam Anne-Sophie Pic wereldwijd zo’n reputatie heeft. Een elegante en unieke plek waar gastronomie, gastvrijheid en de Franse art de vivre perfect samenkomen. Voor ons was Maison Pic absoluut een van de hoogtepunten van onze reis door Frankrijk. Wij komen heel graag terug! 🇫🇷✨

Very nice stay here. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely room with balcony on inner courtyard. Everything is clean and well maintained. Nice lounge area. Beautiful garden and flowering plants throughout. Just perfect. Restaurant was amazing.

Quel agréable séjour dans ce joli espace. Tout le monde est agréable, gentil, attentionné. Le jardin du petit déjeuner est splendide. La piscine pour faire des longueurs à été très appréciée. Le déjeuner au Bistrot est excellent, le dîner au bar très sympathique, et le petit déjeuner majestueux.

We stayed for one night while driving to Greece. I wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel is beautifully done up, with stunning sculptures, paintings and furniture. The garden was wonderful with a great pool and the most comfortable sunbeds. Slightly too few sunbeds as we discovered later in the day when more guests arrived. As we stayed on a Monday the main Michelin Restaurant was closed, but we ate lunch and dinner at their Bistro and the food and decor was fantastic. The staff throughout were helpful, professional and charming. Our room (we paid a bit more for a superior room) was just wonderful. Comfortable beds (pillows not great) cotton soft bedding, and the highest tech bathroom. And a lovely terrace. Secure underground parking. Everything was perfect. We left something in the safe and the reception team arranged for it to be couriered. We really couldn’t recommend this hotel more and plan on returning when the main restaurant is open.

Lucurious and very agreeble hotel in Vqlence, which is part of the gastronomic comolex of Anne-Sophie Pic. Comfort, silence, pleasure, delicacy, attentive service. Worth going and do not forget to make reservation for the dinner at the restaurant.

Ontbijt en roomservice waren perfect. De jongeman die ons bediende in de bar was heel aardig en heel vriendelijk. Mooi hotel met mooi terras in de binnentuin. Helaas regende het dus daar hebben we geen gebruik van kunnen maken.

Ontvangst bij de receptie was wat onvolledig. En het was niet duidelijk waar de ingang van het hotel precies was en waar je even met de auto zou kunnen stoppen om in te checken. Jammer dat de brasserie geen reserveringen meer aannam. Bij contact opnemen had degenen die ons belde kunnen laten weten welke 2 restaurants er aanwezig zijn in het hotel en of we nog zouden kunnen reserveren. Er is namelijk niet veel in de directe omgeving waar je goed kunt eten.

Our focus was of course Restaurant Pic which we thoroughly enjoyed, and also delighted by the Bistro André, our beautiful room and amazing breakfast. Definitely worth the travel from London.

The hotel stay and restaurant visit was a first class experience. Extremely professional and very kind staff. Excellent quality of dinner and breakfast.

Fabulous stop on the way from The Neherlands to Spain. We booked the Pic Restaurant, to be amazed by the quality of the service, products and technique. Conveniently located near the city, but easily reachable from the highway. The Hotel was excellent too, although a Spa would have been lovely.

An amazing hotel with two amazing restaurants. It was the perfect choice for our wedding anniversary.

I have always wanted to visit Maison Pic. I booked 1 year ahead to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We stayed tow nights to enjoy the gourmet dinner on 1st evening and André brasserie on the 2nd night. Deluxe room was spacious, clean and luxurious. From start to finish we had a great time, with wonderful staff, brilliant service. The history of the restaurant and family is very special and one of the reasons I wanted to go there and meet Ann Sophie Pic. It did not disappoint. The food speaks for itself, fresh, delicious with amazing texture combinations. Excellent wines, cocktails and non alcoholic cocktails. The gardens were tranquil and relaxing, despite the premises being in the town. The bonus of a small swimming pool in the back was lovely. The breakfast though wonderful but was a bit carb heavy, and perhaps a balance with eggs and bacon etc, with less breads/pastries would be nice. But to be honest everything was delicious and the value in the brasserie and quality was very good. 10 course menu was amazing and portions very generous. I will be coming back again and may have a few friends along as well! Thank you to all the staff who made our trip very special. Especially, for the mini tour as well and our celebration cake. Practical points: easy access by train from Lyon but take the TER from Lyon Part Dieu to Valence ville centre (not the TGV). Taxi from station less than 5 minutes. From the hotel you can easily walk into town for shopping, the city gardens and site seeing with plenty of restaurants . Valence is a nice stop on the way down to Avignon, should you choose. Maison Pic has parking available on advance notification.

This is truly a beautiful inn attached to a Michelin 3 star restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully done . Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms with their French cosmetics were quite luxurious. The theme is understated elegance . The heated swimming pool is wonderful to swim laps in. Daybeds around the pool are a nice place to relax. The staff all try hard to please and succeed We did not think we could sit for a 10 course meal so we ate in the more casual bistro twice. The food was excellent but my favorite was the special chocolate mousse which was one of the best desserts of my life. The tariff is high but it’s worth if for a night or two. Make sure you go to Cité Chocolate by Valrhona which is close by

We liked everything: it's an amazing place to stay, well designed for a luxurious experience, beautiful garden, attention to details. Conveniently located, we had a lunch in cafe Andre, and it was very good. Excellent staff and service. Also want to add that the place is very unique, it has its own character! Highly recommended!!!

We stayed for one night to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. The level of service from all the team at Maison Pic both before we arrived, at check-in, during our stay and at check-out was exceptional. During our short visit the hospitality we received was world class, every single staff member we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The garden / grounds of the property were so peaceful and like heaven on earth, the pool area was just wonderful to relax at for a couple of hours and I wish we could of stayed for longer.. We were lucky enough to have a reservation for the 10 course tasting menu in the restaurant Anne-Sophie Pic, this was the reason for our trip as it was somewhere my husband had always wanted to visit. The food. presentation and service was fabulous, each course was explained to us and presented so beautifully, the taste of every dish and the creativity and thought that the chef(s) put into the dishes were just mind-blowing. We are in awe of their talent and the memories of both dinner and our breakfast will be something we will talk about for years to come. What we found really lovely is that Anne-Sophie visitied each table during dinner service to personally greet the diners. Another lovely and thoughtful touch is that they presented my husband with a delicious (extra) dessert with a candle for his birthday. Truly a place and experience that we will never forget. Thank you team Maison Pic for all that you did during our short stay with you. we hope to be lucky enough to return one day.

We booked a one night stay here on our travels through France, it being on the bucket list for some time. The hotel is beautiful, quirky spaces and the hotel reception staff were great. We spent the afternoon by the beautiful secluded pool. We stayed in room 5 which was a garden suite and it was huge. Beautiful room with a balcony and huge bathroom. The service just wasn’t there. We arrived at 2:30 and asked if we could grab some lunch in the restaurant which was casual dining restaurant. We were advised that we could only have cheese as service had finished, although it was clear that it hasn’t and starters and mains were still being served. We struggled to get a drink by the pool as there were no staff in the pool bar or main bar area and I had to walk to reception in my swimwear to order a coffee. Unfortunately dinner service felt the same. We were unattended in the bar pre dinner for quite a while and in the Andre restaurant the service wasn’t great, having to pour our own drinks, and whilst the food was nice at one point the wine waiter took away an empty glass, not asking if we’d like another drink which left us empty for a while due to lack of attention. Not what we expected here. When the waitress served the hake dish it came with a sauce and she said ‘here is the hake with a sauce I can’t remember !’ We ordered breakfast in our room which we could have on the terrace which was fab.

What can we say? This is a very high end hotel yet not pretentious. Staff have a sixth sense of what you need and when you need it. EG car parked for you, luggage taken to room. Amazing courtyard bistro with water vapour jets to cool you down. Excellent facilities , including garden with cool pool . Excellent food. Bedrooms very well appointed and comfortable. Every Michelin guide from 1900 to present on display. Would love to return!

Having wanted to visit the restaurant Pic in Valence for many years we finally made it this summer. We stayed for just one night in the hotel and we ate in the gastronomic restaurant. The experience was truly exceptional, from the moment we arrived to our departure. Our room was upgraded but this was not mentioned by the reception on our arrival, although I did of course realise when I saw the spacious room with outside seating area /terrace and beautiful marble bathtub (as well as standalone shower). Everything inside and outside the hotel is perfectly maintained and all members of staff go out of their way to ensure that their guests have a wonderful time. We expected the food in the 3 star restaurant to be amazing and it genuinely exceeded our expectations. The chef and her team manage to create exquisite masterpieces with (mostly) relatively simple ingredients. Although a huge amount of thought clearly goes into the presentation of each dish , there is no question of style taking precedence over substance. My allergies and food preferences were accounted for with no fuss, every morsel of food was bursting with flavour, the wine pairing was excellent, all local wines as we wished, each one pairing perfectly with the dish it accompanied. The relatively young team worked seamlessly together and managed to balance an extremely efficient service with a genuine and friendly interest in their guests . We felt that every member of the team truly enjoyed their work and wanted their guests to have a wonderful experience. We have eaten in a number of other 3 star establishments and I would have no hesitation in saying that this was by far the most enjoyable experience. Yes it is expensive but it genuinely feels like good value.

We had an excellent experience at Maison Pic. After a warm welcome and a tour of the property, we appreciate the complimentary drink and pastry in the garden before going to our room. We had dinner at Andre outside that night. The food was honest and the dishes well executed and the service was friendly and professional. We decided to have a drink at Bar Pic. The barman was busy and a member of the staff invited us to a tour of the kitchen and the dining room of the gastronomical restaurant. It was such an impromptu and delightful visit! He was very knowledgeable about the place and talk about all the piece of art of the restaurant. The room 14 was spacious and well decorated. The amenities were of good quality. The Dyson hairdryer was a good surprise. The only minor issue was the door of the bathroom which was not closing fully (causing the floor to flood a little bit) and the "rainwater" shower head that was not fully descaled and not working at its full potential. The bed was comfortable and the sheets soft and clean. The receptionist accommodate my request for a massage on a short notice and I thank her for that. The breakfast was excellent and on the sweet side. The tower of viennoiseries will be remembered. Our yoga instructor, Perrine, was excellent and very friendly and gave us recommendation for lunch in Valence. After half a day in town, we head back to the pool. It was clean and very relaxing. One issue is that none of the call buttons available on the lounge chairs (for drink or snack service) worked or no one answered. Then came the amazing restaurant Pic. At this instant, our stay went from excellent to amazing. Maison Pic made us feel very special even if we are far from being very special guest. We sat at one of the best table (a private alcove in the back of the dining room with an impressive Baccarat chandelier above us). As one can expect here, the dishes were superb. For our third dish, we were asked to follow our waiter and he brought us to the chef's table in the kitchen! Few hiccups nonetheless: my wife was served wine in a cracked glass and even if the restaurant and hotel knew that we did not drink champagne, they still pour us some as part of our wine pairing. We took our digestif in the salon of bar Pic and at 1am the sommelier took us on a tour of the cellar! The checkout was seamless and we appreciate the little attention left in our car for the road. We will not forget how Maison Pic celebrated our 10 years anniversary!
