Super Wüstencamp, beste Lage, nettes Personal, schöne und saubere Wohneinheit und sehr gutes Essen. Bei Fragen zur Umgebung wurden wir sehr gut beraten.

Lage, die Wüste ist immer spektakulär. Der Herr am Empfang war super freundlich.

Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen waren unterdurchschnittlich: Nescafe Pulver nicht mal Omani Coffee, Butter etc ungekühlt und flüssig: Hühnchen jeden Tag... Bei allem Veständnis für die geringe Auslastung, aber wir waren in Anschluss an duesen Aufenthalt due einzigen Gäste in einem Bergdorf und dort war alles kein Problem.

La stanza e il bagno non all altezza. Siamo purtroppo arrivati durante una tormenta di pioggia e vento e siamo stati 5 ore senza elettricità

La location era spettacolare, proprio a ridosso di alcune dune bellissime. Le casette molto belle, in grado di garantire tutti i comfort necessari, anche più di quello che ci aspetterebbe nel deserto. Il cibo ottimo e abbondate. Lo staff sempre cordiale e sorridente

A wonderful camp with a very good location – not too far from the main road, but at the same time deep into the desert. One of the few that are open in the summer. Very clean and comfortable rooms, delicious food and very good service. Although there were few people in the camp, due to the low season, the camp functioned normally and the staff took very good care of us. The views around the camp are fantastic. Definitely try one or more of the offered activities or climb the nearby dune. If you don’t mind – take advantage of the transfer to the hotel. The guide is a local Bedouin who shows you and tells you interesting facts about the area.

Un vrai sens de l’hospitalité et un paysage à couper le souffle. Dépaysement total nous étions seuls c’était un paradis. La nourriture était excellente et très copieuse, les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres, équipés de climatisation ce qui est nécessaire avec la chaleur, vous aurez tout pour passer un séjour inoubliable

Absolument tout était extraordinaire

Tout était parfait. Dès la prise de contact avec Captain Khalid qui s’est occupé du transfert, très gentil ponctuel et souriant de quoi bien commencer le séjour dans le camp. Une fois arrivé au camp l’accueil est chaleureux le personnel au petit soin pendant toute la durée de notre séjour. La sortie en 4x4 dans le désert pour le couché du soleil avec captain Khalid est l’un de nos meilleurs souvenirs à Oman. Il s’arrête à de jolis spot pour les photos vous lasse le temps d’en prendre et en prend de très belles aussi. Merci à captain Khalid et toute l’équipe du camp.

No WiFi in the bedroom

Sendo um alojamento no meio do deserto, as condições eram muito boas. As refeições eram de qualidade, a localização dava-nos exatamente a paz que procuravamos, os serviços providenciados pelo alijamento são diversificados, e o quarto estava bastante limpo.

O barulho do Ar Condicionado. Percebo que naquela localização e com a temparatura que se fez sentir, só com o AC sempre no máximo é que é possível estar, mas o mesmo fazia imenso barulho e perturbava o sono.

Room got very hot and the camp is only accessible with a big 4WD as the camp is quite far in the desert with no proper roads to get to it.

Loved our stay here! The staff were very accommodating and were very understanding in us changing our night stay. We enjoyed the cinema night under the stars - made the stay 100x better!

De huisjes waren gezellig en comfortabel, met goede bedden en een prima badkamer. Het personeel was vriendelijk en gastvrij en het diner was echt heerlijk. Ook de filmavond in de openlucht vonden we een hele leuke toevoeging aan de ervaring. Daarnaast hebben we een kamelentocht bijgeboekt, wat erg leuk was en zeker een aanrader. Zelfs de rit naar het kamp met onze eigen (4x4) huurauto was al een avontuur op zich en prima te doen zolang je de borden volgt. Wij zouden hier zeker nog eens terugkomen.

Her en der kan het wel iets gemoderniseerd worden, maar je zit in de woestijn…

Coming here was truly a dream come true, the camp had all the luxury you could want while still giving that authentic desert feel. Plenty of space and peace to enjoy everything the desert had to offer: camel rides, watching the sunset from the dunes, stargazing and even a movie night with popcorn and authentic Arrak Milk Tea provided. The staff was also amazing: they provided everything you could want with a smile on their face. We loved our stay ar Sama al Wasil Desert Camp!

Le camps est entouré de dunes. Projection du film Aladin le soir. Nous étions 3 couples (mai), le personnel était attentif, discret.

Il faut un 4x4 pour y aller. La conduite n'est pas très complexe, c'est une piste avec un peu de sable par moment. Il faut juste pas s'arrêter.

Personale super accogliente e gentile, molto attenti a soddisfare ogni esigenza dell’ospite. Camera molto pulita e bella. Cibo ottimo e abbondante. Molte attività disponibili. Si consiglia di ascoltare i suggerimenti della struttura quando consigliano il transfer proposto da loro.

Locatie was perfect! Super leuk om er zelf heen te rijden met een 4x4 auto door het zand (laat wel wat lucht uit je banden lopen een van de lokale tankstations, personeel helpt je graag). Huisjes waren ook netjes en top en het eten was super!

Great experience, if you have never been in the desert before.

The taxi from the village to the camp is extremely expensive and after all they still ask you for extra money for parking your car at the petrol station. The camp should have a shuttle service included in the price or review the fare. Everything you do at camp is extra (only thing free is to watch the big screen under the stars!)

Les tentes sont spacieuses en face d une grande dune que l on peut monter et redescendre en luge. Nous n avons pas fait d activités vu le prix trop excessif. Sinon il y a du quad du dromadaire et du dune bashing. Les repas étaient bon. Nous sommes arrivés vers 16h00 largement suffisant pour voir le coucher de soleil. Nous avions un 4x4 donc a l entrée de la piste il fait dégonfler les pneus et suivre la piste . Très facile d accès et très bien indiqué.

Si vous voulez une nuit authentique dans le désert passer votre chemin. La principale déception concerne la nourriture : elle est essentiellement indienne, et pas du tout locale. De plus, il s’agit plutôt d’une cuisine de type fast food (riz froid, brochettes de poulet simples), ce qui est vraiment dommage dans ce cadre. On s’attendait à pouvoir découvrir de la cuisine omanaise, avec de bons plats traditionnels et de la viande de qualité. Surtout pour une seule nuit, cela aurait pu rendre l’expérience vraiment inoubliable. C’est donc assez décevant sur ce point, car tout le reste du cadre s’y prête parfaitement. D’autres camps proposent probablement une expérience plus authentique, notamment côté cuisine.

Das Camp liegt sehr schön. Man kann vom Camp aus auf die Dünen steigen. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Essen war lecker . Die Anreise ist mit eigenem 4 WD gut machbar.

Im Zimmer hat es nicht gut gerochen.

Struttura nuova e accogliente, con la possibilità di prenotare diverse attività. Noi personalmente non le abbiamo prenotate. Letteralmente in mezzo a dune altissime la cui cima è raggiungibile liberamente e spontaneamente a piedi o tramite corda appositamente posizionata. Vista stratosferica al tramonto. Buffet colazione e cena squisito con tanta varietà e disponibilità costante nella area comune di datteri e tè, nonché Aqua in bottigliette.

Gute Lage in der Wüste..

Der Bau war von Termiten befallen und überall waren diese Bauten an den Wänden! Ein Wechsel auf ein anderes Bungalow war trotz kaum Belegung nur schwer möglich. Wir hatten zwei Nächte gebucht und wollten auf eine Nacht verkürzen, da durch den Starkregen und Überflutungen wir weiter mussten. Booking.com zeigte sich kulant und hat die Buchung ändern wollen aber die Unterkunft hat auf booking.com verwiesen und wollte selbst nicht aktiv werden. Leider antwortet die Unterkunft auf Booking.com nicht aufgerundet der Änderung. Uns verweist die Unterkunft weiterhin an booking.

Posizione davanti ad una bellissima duna per salire anche a piedi e vedere il tramonto. Acqua e datteri a disposizione degli ospiti. Molte attività proposte (quod, 4x4, cammello e mongolfiera). Cinema all’aperto con pop corn. Buona cena e colaIone servita al tavolo (forse perché come ospiti eravamo pochi); ti portavano anche il bis delle cose e si poteva chiedere ciò che più si desiderava. Personale delle attività e della reception molto accogliente e collaborativo.

Ho soggiornato per €200 nella tenda sultano per una notte. La tenda non era per nulla pulita (a terra era visibilmente sporco e la doccia piena di sapone degli ospiti precedenti). Telecomando dell’aria condizionata non funzionante (anche dopo intervento). Bagno non degno di un camp luxury. Vi erano cattivi odori e facendosi la doccia si allagava tutto. Mancanza di asciugacapelli in camera e di prese per caricare. Durante il giorno la tenda è un forno. Necessità di più cura degli spazi comuni (es. fornire l’acqua in dispenser freschi e spazzare più volte la sabbia dai tappeti.) non vengono forniti servizi di strutture luxury come i vari kit di cortesia. Trasferimento molto costoso per il tragitto fatto. In sintesi struttura carina ma scarso rapporto qualità prezzo. Se volete un esperienza luxury non è questo il posto.

Il Sama ci ha stupito per molti aspetti. Arrivarci è stato facile, non è necessario avere un 4x4. Si trova ai piedi di una grande duna, che puoi esplorare a piedi. Le stanze, organizzate come un villaggio sono silenziose (ovviamente) e comode. La pulizia rispecchia l'alto standard della struttura. Tutto è organizzato per dare una esperienza davvero consigliata. Il nostro pacchetto aveva anche la cena, e vale davvero la pena, perché il cibo era buonissimo e vario. Poi ci si può rilassare nei grandi spazi comuni oppure accomodarsi nelle poltrone cinema e vedere il film ai piedi della duna. Tante le attività proposte, ma noi non ne abbiamo usufruito. Ci è bastato esplorare la duna al tramonto e all'alba

Das Camp liegt ca 16 Km innerhalb der Wüste, dementsprechend lässig die Zufahrt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. Vor Ort können Quads und andere Unterhaltungen gebucht werden. Die Unterkunft ist für die Lage sehr komfortabel.

Trotz zweifacher Übernachtung wurde das Zimmer nicht gereinigt. Für eine Wüstenunterkunft ist das Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Wonderful location in the Wahiba sands dunes. Easy to get to without deflating tires. Friendly staff and check-in. Great dinner and breakfast area - wonderful. Get a Sultan Tent it's totally worth it. Loved hiking in the dunes for sunset and sunrise. Nice and clean rooms. Lovely stay.

Sultan tents are very close to movie area - super loud sound from movies until too late. No big deal though.
