Campo di dimensioni raccolte rispetto ai vicini camp che sono iper turistici e enormi. Tenda grande, ci hanno assegnato la tenda da 4 posti nonostante fossimo in 2 - siamo stati a fine marzo e c'erano pochissimi turisti a causa della situazione mediorientale. L'esperienza e' stata autentica e rilassante. Datteri e caffè sempre disponibili nel grande tendone comune. Il bagno dietro la tenda bellissimo in pietra, a cielo aperto e dotato di doccino. La mattina abbiamo visto anche i dromedari allo stato brado ed e' stato bellissimo.

Essendo andati nel periodo post alluvione, abbiamo provato ad accedere al camp con il nostro 4×4 in solitaria ma non e' stato possibile causa acqua e fango. Siamo quindi dovuti tornare indietro all'ufficio, aspettare 1 ora e alla fine seguire con la nostra macchina il driver. Forse sarebbe stato meglio esserne informati prima della situazione acqua e fango e della strada alternativa corretta da percorrere. Unica altra nota riguarda il cibo, soprattutto della cena : ci saremmo aspettati qualcosa di meglio come un tipico bbq e una qualita' maggiore. Ma questo potrebbe essere stato dovuto al fatto che non c'erano turisti.

Nothing but positives. The staff was absolutely amazing, and we even had the entire camp to ourselves due to the situation in the Middle East and the heavy rains and floods affecting Oman at the time. Despite all of that, the team went above and beyond to accommodate us and created a fully customized program based on our preferences. We experienced a deep desert drive, dune bashing, a visit to a Bedouin family, a camel farm, and a beautiful sunset. There is really nothing to complain about. Highly recommended.

Super lokalizacja, fajnie zorganizowane. Bardzo smaczne jedzenie!

Bellissimo campo tendato, le camere sono molto ampie, con i bagni in muratura esterni ad un passo dalla camera (un passo vero e proprio) e a cielo aperto, per me bellissimo. Non c'è aria condizionata per cui di giorno fa molto caldo, ma è un ottimo alloggio se si arriva nel pomeriggio per fare una passeggiata sulle dune per vedere il tramonto o fare altre attività. La sera la temperatura scende per cui si dorme benissimo immersi nel silenzio e nel vento del deserto. Bellissima esperienza, migliore di quella nei campi in muratura con aria condizionata, perchè più vera ed autentica. Tè, caffe, datteri ed acqua sempre a disposizione, oltre ad un frigorifero in comune. Ottimi la cena e la colazione. Nella tenda ci sono prese della corrente e luce.

Bella la location, ottimo il personale, tende distanziate, buona pulizia. Attenzione alle esigenze alimentari speciali dei clienti, da osservare con più attenzione.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Da wir kein 4x4 hatten, haben wir den abhol-service mit gebucht. Das hat super funktioniert und die abendliche dune-bashing tour war mega. :)

Camps à taille humaine assez isolé. Personnel très gentille. Sachant que nous faisions le ramadan ils nous on fait goûter à leur spécialité pour le ftour et prépare une table pour rompre le jeûne. Puis organise un souhour pour que nous puissions petit déjeuné avant tt le monde. Balade au couché du soleil très agréable.

Esperienza autentica nel deserto, staff molto accogliente e disponibile, ambienti ben organizzati e puliti. Grande scelta di possibili escursioni, ben organizzate e poco turistiche, offrono una vera esperienza nel deserto. L'escursione di 3 ore nel deserto con visita alla casa dei beduini è stata incredibile grazie alla nostra guida Abdullah che ci ha fatto vivere un'esperienza immersiva e reale!

晚餐特别好，是我在阿曼十几天中最好吃的一顿，比马斯喀特的高档餐厅还要好吃。住的帐篷和床铺特别干净，每个帐篷后面都有一个干净的卫生间，还可以洗澡。

Priestor pôsobí autenticky, ale zároveň je vlastne v podstate hotelovo vybavený (sprcha, postele, toaleta, super raňajky aj večeras výberom jedál). Zvažovali sme prísť sami na 4x4, ale nakoniec sme zvolili pre cestovanie klasické auto a odvoz do púšte spojený s jazdou po dunách. A bolo to dobré rozhodnutie, pretože sami by sme takú jazdu nikdy neskúsili a bol to super zážitok.

Čakal som v noci väčšiu tmu. Svetelný smog z mesta. Ale za to samozrejme nemôžu.

Ottima posizione, buone le tende, ottima la pulizia. Buona anche cena e colazione. Ci siamo regalati un'esperienza in quad, molto divertente, il giro in jeep per salire in cima a una duna per il tramonto e all'alba il giro con i cammelli.

Avevamo contattato la struttura prima della partenza per prenotare le attività che avevamo in mente ma al nostro arrivo non erano state riservate. Abbiamo fatto altro e va bene così, però non ce lo saremo aspettati.

Lokalizacja, obsługa, dodatkowe aktywności (quady i zjazdy z wydm na desce były super). Wygodne i czyste namioty. Bardzo pomocny personel, zorganizowali nawet tort na moje urodziny

easy to reach, privileged position since is the last of the camps so a little bit more isolated. you don't need nothing more. tents are spacious and clean and food is very good. we had a beautiful stay

if only this camps could have been a little more isolated from the city or from one another, you could see the stars better and the experience could have been a little more authentic

Preis-Leistung unschlagbar. Alle sehr freundlich. Super Zelt....bequeme Matratzen und der Bad-Anbau war auch super. Das Essen was hier gezaubert wurde war wirklich ganz hohes Niveau. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Excellent camp in the dessert for real travellers. For those who want to meet together at the common dinner and then chat at the campfire. That's how travelling should look like. Absolute generosity from the manager - brought us coffe, food, fruit anytime we sat in the common area. Big dunes just in walking distance. went there mornings/evenings. Camel ride. Delicious dinners.

L’accueil sympathique La chambre moderne et bien décorée

Personál reagoval velmi rychle na jakýkoliv dotaz, zajistili cestu z parkoviště do pouště a zpět a to včetně hlídaného parkoviště pro mé auto. Zajistili nám výlety na západ slunce Jeepem a velbloudy. Jídlo bylo skvělé, vůbec jsme v těchto podmínkách nečekali tak bohatý výběr. Po celou dobu jsme měli k dispozici vodu, datle, banány. Personál byl usměvavý a velmi přátelský.

Tout était parfait. L' hospitalité des hôtes, les repas délicieux, les tentes confortables. Bref un vrai bonheur !!

Obóz jest zlokalizowany w odległości ok. 20 minut jazdy samochodem terenowych z Bidiyah ze stacji benzynowej Al Maha. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, bo na dość wysokiej wydmie i dzięki temu roztaczają się piękne widoki. Obsługa doskonała. Kierowcy bardzo uprzejmi i profesjonalni. Namiot wystarczający z wygodnymi łóżkami. Toaleta prywatna dla każdego namiotu 5 m dalej. Osobno w dużym namiocie przez cały dzień można napić się herbaty i spróbować daktyli. W ramach noclegu przejażdżka samochodem terenowym po wydmach i na zachód słońca. Kolacja i śniadanie w formie bufetu. Bardzo smaczne.

Le campement est très bien situé aux portes du désert. Les bédouins qui nous accueillent sont très aimables et amicales. Les repas du midi et du matin sont très bons et en quantité, la tente dispose de douche et toilette privée, de prise et on a un accès constant à des bouteilles d'eau.

Stupenda notte nel deserto, abbiamo usufruito del servizio trasfer, come da accordo 30 OMR ad auto, e sperimentato il sandboard durante il tramonto. La lontananza dalle luci della città permette di avere una fantastica vista sul cielo stellato. Letti comodi. Varia anche la cena e la colazione

I tour fanno la differenza, campo spartano ma molto immerso nel deserto, faceva esattamente il suo dovere.Abdullah, la nostra guida è stata davvero gentile e competente come anche il driver con cui abbiamo fatto dune bashing al tramonto.La cena ottima e abbondante come anche la colazione.Tutto il personale super gentile.Bisogna capire che si è in un vero campo tendato, che i bagni pur se privati sono su piattaforme sulla sabbia e che la sabbia è ovunque, ma is the desert, baby.Sicuramente torneremo!

Un po’ di manutenzione in più e stoviglie sostenibili non guasterebbero ma si capisce la difficoltà

Atmosfera suggestiva, nel mezzo del deserto. Bel campo tendato, poche tende per una esperienza più intima. Le tende sono pulite e spaziose, con bagno privato esterno. C’è una tenda grande dove vengono servite cena, buona, e colazione buonissima. Sempre disponibili datteri, caffe, te e acqua. Offrono a 30 omr servizio pick up per chi non ha 4x4 e associano dune bashing al tramonto. Esperienza bellissima. Consigliata anche la passeggiata breve di 5-8 minuti sui cammelli che abbiamo fatto. Staff estremamente disponibile, non posso che raccomandare questo posto. L’esperienza risulta veramente autentica.

Authenticity of the camp and its location at the foot of some fantastic dunes

It was unseasonably hot during our visit, though I think air conditioning would have detracted from the authentic desert experience that the camp offers

Very nice and comfortable desert camp with a great staff. We also bought a desert drive 4x4 experience with Abdullah and it was super fun, a real adventure on the dunes!

Il campeggio è ben fatto e i ragazzi che lo gestiscono sono molto gentili. Il cibo era ottimo. L'unica nota da considerare è che non c'è aria condizionata, infatti il campo chiude da maggio a settembre. Se per caso venite a fine aprile, come nel nostro caso, potrebbe essere molto caldo.

The tent was beautiful, perfect for a real desert experience, the staff is very kind , the dinner and breakfast were very good.

I would have loved to taste some traditional and local kind of tea just like the rest of the food.

If you like to experience a night in a tent, this camp is for you. Location is perfect where you can go on foot early morning over the dunes and watch the sunrise. Staff really nice and helpful and dinner and breakfast more than what you expect for a tent experience

The bathroom obviously are outside the tent and for primitive use, so do not expect to do a long relaxing shower but that is the fun of it when choosing a tent camp

I slept in a tent in the desert very wild very ancomfortable. the excursion in jeep 4x4 at sunset was beautiful ... excellent breakfast

Food was excellent. We even had camel meat for dinner. All meals were very tasty. All the staff was very friendly. Safari on the desert was exciting, a specially the perfect driver Mana.

Beautiful and comfortable accomodation and food was perfect. They were really friendy and helpfull. They also set a fire to watch stars in the night and drove us for dune bashing and sunset watching. Perfect experience.

The staff's proactiveness in helping us for any queries. The food was good. Rajib was an excellent host during the stay.

Bathroom fittings could be better. The exhaust was not working due to which it was too humid in the bathroom.

We loved the camp, simple but with all you need. Very comfortable tents and beds. We slept so well. They offer great dinner and breakfast. I like the possibility to have coffee, tea, fruit all the day. It is apart from other camps, ao great experience. Very kind staff. They picked us up with jeep and all worked very well.

Amazing experience. We were sorry that we booked only for 1 night. We had family tent and beds were realy comfortable. Breakfast and diner was realy good!! You have several possibilities for trips that you can arrange with the owner. I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my night in this desert camp. Everything was perfect: the staff very friendly and caring, the food was amazing, the tents are well appointed and, the camp is near to beautiful dunes so you can easily go for a nice walk through the desert. The wood fire after the diner with beautiful people was also amazing. They propose plenty of activities so you’ll not get bored. I recommend it 100% if you’re looking for an Omani night in the desert!

We had the best time from when we were picked up with the transfer to watching the most beautiful sunset and arriving at our camp site. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, cozy and the bathroom facilities were great with a flushable toilet and warm water shower. We were particually inpressed with the lovely dinner and breakfast that was included. My friend is vegan and there was lots of options for her and I to choose from at the buffet. Would definately recommend Sands Dream.

Fantastic, very helpful and friendly staff

Good location, tents were very clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom quite basic but clean & usable. Decent food and plenty of it. One of the more affordable desert camps. If you want the luxury experience then you'll need to pay a lot more & stay elsewhere.

We had a huge, confortable tent with an outdoor private bathroom. The night we stayed there, there was only one other couple, making for a very quiet and peaceful stay. The staff lit a fire for us in the evening. Buffet dinner and breakfast were good. We arrived with our own 4WD, the place was very easy to find and reach. If you walk from the camp, you can reach some nice dunes for sunset and with the right perspective it might even look like there are no other camps around!!

There are many other camps around. You don't really see them from the camp, but you know they are there. But that is standard at Wahiba Sands, you can still get the illusion of being alone

Unique accommodation in a traditional character filled tent. Staff were excellent. We would especially like to thank the owner Ali the Hero for helping get our car out after we got it bogged in the sand.

The camp met our expectations and overall we enjoyed our stay here. The food - especially the dinner - was excellent given the limitations a desert camp must have for preparing meals. The pre-departure communication with the organizer was outstanding. The facilities are simple but adequate - and well-maintained. It's a rustic camp but quite comfortable, and suitable for a more authentic experience. If you're into glamping, this camp may not be for you. Fantastic starry sky late at night and in the early hours of the morning.

There are two bigger desert camps not too far away which means there is a lot of traffic around on weekends. Also, dune-bashers from the neighboring towns come out for the day or evening. So don't expect to have the dunes all to yourself. But the business of it all does have an attraction of its own - there is a buzz with lots going on. The camp is quite expensive although I acknowledge that there must be a lot of overheads for a place like this that is located far away from basic facilities.

It was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and took care of us well throughout our time there. The camp was basic but give you a good feel of what it is like staying in the desert. Food was basic but adequate.

If you need hot shower and wifi. Don’t expect it.

Great food made on the spot at dinner and breakfast. Great activities with fair prices (sandboarding and camel riding). Good and easy commute from Al Wasil gas station for 30 omr there and back (with sunset watching included). Traditional (and comfortable) tents. Bonfire at night with great night sky.

It was nested in the desert next to a large sand dune

It really has come into age and would need a larger renovation, especially the ”bath room”. As it was at the beginning of the desert, you had a lot of day visitors bashing up the dunes with ATVs doing a lot of noise, even at the late evening or early morning.

Wauw! What a great place. The pick up from Al Wasil (necessary when you don't have a 4x4), was very punctual. The food was some of the best we had in Oman. The sandbashing + sunset tour was gorgeous. Very very great stay.

The tents were cozy and super clean. The staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. This is a small establishment and more authentic than the large camps.

No AC in tents, yet the breeze did cool things down

Beautiful place to sleep under the stars. The tour driver was very friendly and made it a short adventure with a beautiful sunset. Very good dinner and breakfast!

The bed was really uncomfortable. Paying with debit/credit card should be available.
