Breakfast was ok but it could be made better. Same food choices and it's not really eatable after a day or two. We stayed for 8 days. Last year it was excellent, this year idli was not eatable (was hard), chutney had more salt, not much optinos compared to last year. Definitely could be made better.

Reviewed May 27, 2026Blew my expectations, right from the usher & doorman to the frontdesk, the restaurant staff, every interaction was very pleasant. I have stayed in most of the star rated properties in Chennai Lie ITC, Hyatt, Taj, Marriot and this was a revelation. Apart from the fact that the property does not qualify for 5 Star category as they don’t have a pool or a gym or such, the experience was 5 Star. The doormen actually go out of the way to hail a tuk-tuk or guide a uber. Also lot of good restaurants and cafés are at a walkable distance. Would surely recommend to people travelling to Chennai for work or leisure. P.S: The pub on the ground floor is closed so no more complaints about late night music and crowds.

All amenities available as mentioned. Iron box and iron board provided upon request. Prompt room service. Buffet breakfast tasted average. Ala carte food at the restaurant was good. There’s a pub, on 1st floor I suppose. Loud music late evenings, but our room was on 5th floor, so not very disturbing. Squeaky clean bathroom. My first positive experience with bathroom. We stayed for 5 nights. Overall, very happy with the stay.
Breakfast taste and quality should improve a lot.

Apart from these two everything else is substandard. The floor which I stayed in was still under construction . Dirty. And smelly .. very small rooms. With inadequate lighting in the room and the bathroom. A. C needs maintaining/ repairs.
