Vale de São Torcato Houses and Wine Bar

Sitio tranquilo, instalações excelentes, pessoal muito simpático. Na habitação havia alguma Humidade.

A fuga perfeita, num ambiente cuidado.

Superb. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Had a very relaxing time. Everything was clean, we loved the villas. Facilities were great. We will be back.

Virkeligt dejligt lille sted, stille og roligt. Lækkert indrettet. Venligt personale. Havde forventer en “hytte”, men fik desværre alm dobbeltværelse. Dog lidt afsides beliggende (burde vi selv have undersøgt på forhånd)

Excellent

This is the second time we stay at this beautiful place. Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. Furthermore, the swimming pool is very nice and heated, and we really enjoyed the mini-golf and the little steam next to it.

Small resort with very nice individual cottages and ground level apartments or apartments surrounding the upper pool. Two pools one open to the sun the other semi enclosed( definitely a relief when it’s very hot and sunny.Cafe serving breakfast, lunch and light dinner with a full bar and outside seating. Some spa options and a full gym and steam room.Nicely decorated exterior with plants, paintings and sculptures.Nice owners. There were some families with children but they were well behaved.

This is a very quiet, relaxing spot outside Guimaraes. Rooms are set in a beautiful garden setting with outdoor seating. Large living room/kitchen and separate bedroom. Comfortable, modern and well equipped. Staff were great but some don't speak English. Only downside was over-whelming use of air freshener in the rooms.

We had a loverly stay in this hotel for the second time. We booked the room in advance and made a deposit to confirm our booking dates. However, when we checked out they forgot our deposit and charged us an extra night because of a so called no-show while we specified our arrival dates when we made the deposit 3 month earlier. In short, although this is a nice hotel with beautiful rooms, I would recommend that you go elswhere!

Correu tudo na perfeição. Têm umas optimas condições

Óptima estadia! Instalações sempre cuidadas e staff muito atencioso! Excelente para famílias!

Extraordinário para descansar!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Friendly staff, spacious apartments, good breakfast, and a lovely setting. We liked the location also, just a few minutes away from Guimarães. Especially enjoyed the garden setting with all of the sculptures.

Ótimo! Localização excelente! Conforto top!

This is a little out of the way, in a peaceful rural setting. Individual cabins with bedroom, lounge room, kitchen, bathroom and balcony. I didn't get to swim in the pool but it looked very inviting. The people were so accommodating, even allowing us to set up a picnic in their area, serving the food, and cleaning up. Spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Fantástico hotel en zona tranquila. Piscina y zona infantil. Habitaciones amplias y bien decoradas. Desayuno abundante. Servicio muy amable.

The resort consists of a set of very cozy bungalows. There is a sitting area at the entrance, fully equipped small kitchen with absolutely everything you need, very spacious bathroom with an excellent high water pressure shower, bedroom with a king-size bed. All walls are in fact sliding doors covered with the heavy curtains. Each bungalow has its own tiny private backyard with lemon and orange trees. The mini-bar is always re-stocked with goods to every taste including bottles of local white and red wines at a relatively reasonable price. They keep the bungalows immaculately clean – our special thank you for this. There is a spacious parking lot right at the property. The breakfast is good and plentiful with seasonal fruits, but lacks eggs and bacon. The downside, is that we weren’t able to use the swimming pool even once, as it was always full of screaming children during the day. The pool is closed in the morning to take a swim before the breakfast, and closed early in the evening for a late-day swim. We spoke with the manager on the matter and have been assured, that the owners fully recognize the problem and planning to build additional adults-only swimming area. The unavailable swimming pool reduced the value of stay for us, the next door smokers were giving us some troubles, but we are still giving this place the highest rate and recommendations. Thank you everyone in the amazing service team for your attention and patience!

As a family we had to travel to Portugal for the Dance World Cup and we found this hidden gem. I can not fault the service since we have arrived, the staff here literally can’t do enough for you. The breakfast is delicious and there is so much food. My 16 month old loves the pool, it is the perfect temperature and the stairs give him a place to sit and play. In the evenings the wine bar is a lovely place to relax and the food is delicious. If you need to travel to this part of the world then stay here, it is a beautiful, tranquil location and we are enjoying every second of our break.

I love this place. I stay in 30+ hotels per year for work or leisure and am rarely tempted to write a review however this place deserves it. The location is lovely and tucked away but not far from the beautiful city of Guimaraes and the motorways. The small complex is perfectly designed with superb landscaping and is run by a very friendly manager and his team who pay attention to detail. The pool is lovely but the highlight was the perfectly formed cottages that we were so impessed by that we are considering asking for the plans so we can build our own. They are very well designed and appointed. The beds are big and comfortable and frideges and hobs are full size. We didn't have lunch or dinner in the restaurant but the food we saw on tables looked really good. Breakfast is delicious and varyied with cheeses, meats, bread, croissants, pastel de nata, cereal, perfectly ripe fruit, OJ, coffee, hot chocolate and fresh bread. My only criticism is it may be a bit too much! I can't fault this place and we had a lovely time. We will be back.

Tudo maravilhoso! desde a recepção, atendimento, café da manhã. Cama confortável, com lençóis brancos e cheirosos. Varios travesseiros.

Staff sempre pronto a ajudar!

tterrifica definite @10/. Would definitly recommend

A small paradise just near Guimarães. Very beautiful place, opened in 2017. The gardens are beautiful, all the environment and surrounding are very green and peaceful. It's a very good place to relax, enjoy the pool and nature. The service is 5*, very friendly staff, always available with a friendly smile. The houses are very well equipped with all that you need to cook a meal if you want and they are sound prof to give you peace and quite. The place was very well thought, with very good taste. Congratulations to the owner and all team.

Atendimento 5 estrelas!
