Vorremmo innanzitutto ringraziare i proprietari di questa bellissima struttura, che hanno realizzato un meraviglioso scrigno nel cuore di uno dei centri storici più belli di tutta la Sicilia e che ci hanno permesso di godere appieno di un soggiorno strepitoso. Vorremmo inoltre, e soprattutto, ringraziare Michelangelo, il meraviglioso responsabile di questa struttura ricettiva eccellente, che grazie al suo preciso, puntuale, professionale, simpaticissimo modo di gestire le camere e gli ospiti, ci ha veramente donato una settimana di pura magia sicula. Potrei spiegarlo in mille modi differenti, ma credo che l'unica cosa giusta da fare, sia invitarvi a provare per credere. Lasciatevi avvolgere dal calore di questa terra e della sua meravigliosa gente, e lasciate che Michelangelo vi guidi, con i suoi preziosi consigli, verso gli angoli più nascosti di Acireale e della spettacolare terra Etnea. First of all the location is fantastic, just a few steps away from the Duomo. But most of all, Michelangelo lives up to his name (Angelo means angel)! He's just so focussed on making your stay a memorable one that I would not hesitate to recommend him and Residenza Cavour in a heartbeat. He truly made our stay a special one.

L'accueil de Michelangelo, exceptionnellement chaleureux, précis, efficace et prévenant. Michelangelo nous a guidé pour l'arrivée en voiture dans la vieille ville. Il avait même gardé une place de parking devant la Résidence Cavour. Il a été de très bon conseil pour les activités dans Acireale et les environs. L'emplacement à deux pas du Duomo et du bon petit déjeuner. La chambre, vaste, moderne, confortable et tranquille. La ville d'Acireale qui est aussi une excellente base de départ pour les visites à l'Etna..

All three breakfast options in three different bars - all in absolute proximity - were fair and sufficient for the start of the day. Michelangelo, facility manager, was super friendly, helpful and available at any moment and for any issue.

L’accueil chaleureux de Michelangelo,l’emplacement est dans le centre historique ,la chambre spacieuse,nous sommes tombés pour la fête des fleurs,un moment typique.

Nous avons moins apprécié le moment petit déjeuner,il faut se déplacer dans un bar proche et le choix est restreint(1 boisson et un gateau,ou brioche..)le reste était en supposant.c’est un peu dommage.

The best thing about this property is its manager, Michelangelo. He goes on and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable- securing the parking, restaurant suggestions, sightseeing advice etc. Secondly the location of this property could not be better- just a few steps away from the main square. Acireale is a magical town and the best starting point to discover Etna, Taormina, Catania. We loved a breakfast arrangement of this property- you can choose between three local places to grab a typical Sicilian breakfast. The room was very spacious and clean with great bathroom- it was the best find in Sicilia.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, acht Tage in diesem Hotel auf Sizilien zu verbringen und kann es wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll und freundlich eingerichtet, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit – es war jederzeit alles top gepflegt. Das Personal hat täglich nachgefragt, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll, und auf Wunsch gab es jeden Tag frische Handtücher, was ich als sehr aufmerksam empfunden habe. Das absolute Highlight unseres Aufenthalts war jedoch der Hotelmanager Michelangelo. Er hat sich außergewöhnlich viel Mühe gegeben, unseren Urlaub so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Jeden Morgen hat er uns Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben, uns über das aktuelle Wetter informiert und tolle Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Darüber hinaus hat er uns sogar persönlich zum Bahnhof gefahren – ein Service, der wirklich nicht selbstverständlich ist. Michelangelo ist nicht nur unglaublich hilfsbereit, sondern auch ein sehr sympathischer Mensch, mit dem man sich hervorragend unterhalten kann. Seine offene Art und seine Begeisterung – unter anderem auch für Fußball – haben unseren Aufenthalt noch einmal besonders gemacht. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Urlaub, zu dem dieses Hotel einen großen Beitrag geleistet hat. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen! La posizione della residenza è davvero ottima, a due passi dal Duomo e perfetta per visitare Acireale a piedi. Ma il vero valore aggiunto del soggiorno è stato senza dubbio il gestore, Michelangelo. Una persona estremamente cordiale, gentile e disponibile: ci ha facilitato il weekend sotto ogni punto di vista, rendendolo ancora più perfetto. Fin dal nostro arrivo ci ha mostrato con attenzione tutto ciò che c’era nei dintorni, consigliandoci posti dove mangiare e cosa vedere, sempre con grande disponibilità. È stato davvero indispensabile per la riuscita di questo weekend e ci ha fatto sentire accolti e seguiti come raramente capita. Consigliatissimo. Ritorneremo

Posizione ottima con possibilità di parcheggio. La stanza molto ampia ed arredata in uno stile molto elegante ma non eccessivo. Il sig. Michelangelo ha saputo dimostrare cordialità ed evidente attenzione nei nostri confronti sin da prima del nostro arrivo, ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni utili per la nostra permanenza e per il nostro confort consigliandoci cosa visitare e dove cenare.

L'accoglienza e la struttura

La rezidenza est située à deux pas du Duomo, dans une ruelle très calme. Deux chambres sont réunies pour accueillir une famille de quatre personnes et sont immenses. Michelangelo est l'ange gardien de ses hôtes et a un sens impressionnant de l'accueil. Vous pourrez prendre votre petit-déjeuner à proximité dans des bars ou une pâtisserie, qui travaillent en partenariat avec la rezidenza. Si vous avez une voiture, un place de stationnement est possible à proximité.

Manque de rangements dans la salle-d'eau.

Diversi bar convenzionati per la colazione: ne abbiamo provati due, ottimi. Consiglio Cipriani. Accoglienza premurosa e cordialissima: Michelangelo ospite gentilissimo e competente. Stanze spaziose e comode.

I bagni sono spaziosi, m a metterei qualche appoggio in più.

Très bien localisé, places de parking réservées, accueil très attentionné de Michelangelo, petit déjeuner (inclus) dans de très bons cafés autour de l’hébergement.

Very friendly, helpful host at this location. The room was very cozy, nicely finished, good size, very comfortable. Great location being very central but on a quiet side street. We were able to park right across the street, thanks to the help of our host. Breakfast was arranged for in a neighbouring bar/cafe.

Michelangelo! Überaus bemüht alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit zu managen. ZTL, Parkplatz, gesperrte Straßen sind kein Problem, regelt er mit der Polizia. Zum Frühstück ein Gutschein mit der Auswahl von 3 verschiedenen Frühstückscafés. Bar Cipriani ist sehr zu empfehlen.

The pre arrival communication was very good , the greeting and welcome from Michaelangelo was even better , exceptional in fact. The location within Acireale was fantastic , just 100 yards from the Duomo and any number of restaurants and cafes , and we enjoyed the free breakfasts at the local cafes included in the price. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This was a real gem and a great base from which to explore the Taormina/Etna area without being in a big city. Acireale itself was a very attractive small city without the tourists. We had been worried about parking , but we had a reserved space in the street right at the Residence.

Michelangelo is a fantastic host and could not have done more to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. He helped us arrange transfers to and from the airport, was extremely hospitable, attentive and simply wonderful! The residence is very conveniently located next to the main square, is modern and comfortable. They provide breakfast in the nearby bars where the food is delicious!

The place is extremely clean, beautiful rooms, the beds are very comfortable, and the location is perfect for those who want to be near the downtown area. I highly recommend this stay and do yourself a favor and try the strawberry gelato at Bar Cipriani--you haven't tried a strawberry until you have tried this. Absolutely wonderful stay!!!

Great location steps from the Duomo, close to the beautiful Museo dei Pupi, a lovely walk to the Belvedere, and lots of nice bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Very pretty, clean, comfortable room. We had our choice of three nearby restaurants for breakfast — we just presented our voucher and placed our order — a really nice way to get to know the area. Best of all was our lovely host Michelangelo. He did everything possible to make us feel at home in Acireale and Residenza Cavour. He picked us up at the train station and immediately made us feel like we were old friends. He was available to answer any questions and sent us information about local events that would interest us. I can’t say enough about his kindness and good humour.

Michelangelo is an exceptional host. Very well informed about the city, events, places to eat and visit, planned and thoughtful. Probably the best host I have ever had (and I have travelled a lot). Location is central, walking distance to most attractions in town. The room and common areas are spotless.

The room was in a very beautiful, old yet renovated building downtown. Everything was great about it except for the soundproof. When windows and the blinds were closed we could hardly hear anything from outside. Inside the building, as our room was close to the staircase, we could hear other tourists coming in or going out.

The room and bathroom are big and comfortable at such a convenient location. The breakfast has as selection of 3 spots, we chose 1 (Al Duomo Bar) and loved it! Michelangelo was such a great host, responsive, welcoming and attentive in making your stay memorable.

Excelent location, and Michelangelo is a perfect host. We had a great city break.

Michelangelo went above and beyond a good welcome, even jumped out in the road to stop us missing the turning! The location is ideal, right by the main square, Duomo and cafes etc. We could park right outside. The room was well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Easy to get to main road to other places too. Acireale gives an authentic experience of a Sicilian town, we were lucky to see a wedding and the Santa Rita saints day festivities.

Amazing place, all brand new and modern with a fridge and 10 seconds walking from main square. The manager Michelangelo is amazing, always ready to help you in any possible way and will make your stay even better. He gives also great advices on tourist attractions around the coast.

Nothing! But since we were travelling with a toddler, so a microwave to warm the milk at night/morning in the small kitchenette of the ground floor would have been the cherry on the cake.

The location of the apartment is in the center of the city, very close to the main square, but hidden from the noise. The location is also good due to the proximity of attractions (Taormina, MtEtna, ...). Breakfast bistros are nearby and the breakfasts are excellent. The car can be parked right next to the accommodation. Manager Michelangelo is ready to assist at any time. The information we got from him made our vacation even nicer.

Michelangelo met us at the station and took us back there. Very friendly and helpful. Beautiful room and bathroom- large and decorated with style. Location quiet although just off main square. We really enjoyed the closeness of the beautiful centre and the vouchers for breakfast in a local cafe. Our first night in Sicilia after a long journey and it felt a treat!

Not really an issue for one night but we were in the annexe. I think the main building has some kitchen facilities which would be nice.

Residents Cavour is one of these rare pearls. Located very near the main Plaza of the wonderful little town of Acireale; very local; not overwhelmed by tourists as Taormina is. The hotel and the rooms are modern and kept pristine. The biggest asset of Residenza Cavour is undoubtedly Michelangelo: he will bend backwards to make your stay as pleasant as can be. I like the formula of a voucher to some very nice terraces on nearby plazas for breakfast included

Fantastic, spacious and modern residence in the centre of town. An easy walk to the central square. Beautifully decored. Super helpful staff. The town itself is a little gem and we found it very convenient for airport and Mt Etna.

The hotel is situated few meters from the cathedral and the open cathedral square. At the same time it was completely quiet in the room. Both the room and the bathroom were excellent and clean. The hotel manager is very caring and helpful. I arrived in the evening after the reception was closed. In advance I made an appointment via mobile phone with the manager and he met me in the cathedral square, helped me with my luggage and showed me the way to the hotel. In short, this is a hotel that I can really recommend. And should I visit Acireale again, I will use the same hotel.

The manager Michelangelo was very nice and gave us a very good service. The place is very pleasant and clean.

The enviroment around the hotel is neglected, but situated near good restaurants and bars.

It's location steps away from Piazza del Duomo, ticket office for and entry to the Carnevale. Manager/Concierge MICHELANGELO has to be the BEST HOST IN ANY HOTEL ANYWHERE! FROM PRE ARRIVAL TO CHECK OUT & Getting one into one's taxi, very attentive to all needs and details, incredibly helpful and kind. A caring warm host in every sense of the word! The amenities were optimal, comfortable and clean! The breakfast choices are off site and one has a choice of 3 possible eateries close for which you get credit vouchers. Michelangelo even gives you a preview about the options at each! ThenWiFi was excellent (fast) and there's a homey kitchen downstairs with coffee maker and tea kettle.

There isn't anything at all I didn't like. I wish all hotels and guesthouses were this ideal.

Most important, fabulous service from Michelangelo who is on top of everything from picking us up at the bus stop to dinner recommendations and help with reservations. The room was comfortable and warm enough in the winter weather. The location was perfect, just off the main piazza.

Had to leave

The breakfast was perfect. We have been to Acireale before and were going to miss the breakfast provided to go to our favourite iconic breakfast place for granita and brioche only to find that was one of the options available with the room. Michelangelo also suggested an amazing place for dinner. A big thank you and we will definitely stay there again.
