Patron et personnel d’une exceptionnelle bienveillance et gentillesse. On y est comme à la maison. Ils se mettent en quatre pour vous conseiller. Les personnes avec qui ils vous organisent les sorties sont tout aussi exceptionnelles, très interessantes, disponibles et aimables. Nous avons fait de très belles sorties et passé de très bons moments grâce à elles.

Our first time in a Moroccan Riad. This was a superb choice. The staff were fab, very welcoming and attentive and were able to assist with airport drop off and pick ups. Special mention to Ibrahim who is fantastic. A great little gem of a place to stay.

Wow! What an incredible Riad. As you as you enter this beautiful building you will feel utter peace. It is beautifully designed and incredibly decorated. Jean and his staff, including the absolutely wonderful Ibrahim, worked above and beyond to ensure my stay was lovely, including organising an airport transfer and getting me a cake for my birthday! The room was exceptionally clean, cool and spacious. I highly recommend staying at this oasis on your trip to Marrakech.

(Pozdrowienia dla Was również!!) Śniadania - niesamowite!! Pyszne i mega duże!! Super wycieczki. La atención que recibimos, desde el momento que pisamos este Riad, fue excepcional. Jean Francois estuvo muy pendiente de cada una de nuestras necesidades, haciendo posible que nuestra estancia aquí fuera muy satisfactoria. La ubicación es genial y el desayuno muy rico.

The Riad was beautiful and took you back in time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to make you feel comfortable especially Ibrahim who was a star. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent and they would even make you up a bag if you needed to miss breakfast due to an early start if a trip was booked. Fresh bread every morning with honey, olives, cottage cheese, coffee, fresh orange juice, eggs of your taste (we chose omelette), cake, yogurt and fruit. Rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed. In all a really nice homely atmosphere. The owner of the Riad really cared and was also very friendly and helpful.

Nothing we didn’t like other than we went at a very hot time of the year when the temperatures in Marrakesh were 41 to 42 degrees centigrade.

Tenía muchas ganas de conocer Marrakech y después de leer opiniones de diferentes alojamientos nos decantamos por este y no defraudó en absoluto.Destacar la amabilidad del personal Jean Francois,Ibrahim Y Samira hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera increíble.Esta situado a unos 15 o 20 minutos de la plaza a la cual se llega por una calle directa sin pasar por el zoco,pero si quieres ir directo al zoco lo tiene en apenas 3minutos.Estuvimos en la suit familiar,dos habitaciones comunicada por una terracita privada.Habitaciones amplias ,camas cómodas y limpieza extraordinaria.Riad pequeñito de 5 habitaciones muy familiar.Recomiendo cenar una noche en el Riad,la comida de Samira es magnífica y fue la mejor comida del viaje,comida casera y buenísima .Coincidio el cumpleaños de mi hija y le hicieron una tarara para poder soplar las velas y le regalaron un ramo de flores,un auténtico detalle q no olvidaremos ninguno.Hay muchos alojamientos pero si volviera repetiríamos.Desayuno rico y abundante .Nos ayudaron en la contratación de excursiones y fenomenal.Riad cerca de un punto de taxi donde también es recogida para las diferentes excursiones

The owner Jean-Francois and team, especially Ibrahim, were extremely welcoming and supportive. They organized the taxi from the airport for us and met at the taxi stop to help with the luggages (the road is only 2min walk from the taxi stop). I didn't feel well the last day of our stay and they actively helped my wife on planning our checkout and making sure I would recover. The breakfast is cooked fresh every morning at the time you decide to wake up, you can communicate that at any point of the day as there is always someone at the reception.

Ofereixen un esmorzar abundant amb ingredients magrebins i també occidentals, preparats i servits amb molt gust. Vam gaudir molt de l'esmorzar i del servei a càrrec de l'Ibrahim.

No hem trobat res a faltar, tot ha estat correcte, el tracte per part de tothom a estat excel·lent, atent i curós amb els detalls. Et fan sentir còmodes i sempre ajuden amb qualsevol necessitat.

The location was great and the staff were amazing, you get what you pay for with the slim price.

The breakfast was not particularly enjoyable, as we were constantly swarmed by wasps while trying to eat, which was a real shame. We were also told that our room would have air conditioning, but it did not. Instead, it only had a ceiling fan, which failed to keep us cool in the summer heat. Had we known this in advance, we perhaps would not have booked the room. We also found a few cockroaches in our room during our stay. Additionally, we were unaware that the room on the ground floor did not have a separate bathroom. Rather than being fully enclosed, it was separated from the bedroom only by a curtain, which offered very little privacy.

I really appreciated the kindness and warm welcome from Ibrahim and François. The location is peaceful and relaxing, and it's very well situated.

The only downside was the internet connection in the room. The Wi-Fi signal was quite weak and only worked reliably when I was very close to the window.

Verdaderamente nada tiene fisuras con ellos. Desde el traslado in/out, a un excelente precio e impecable puntualidad. El Riad inmaculado, las esencias que perfuman todos los ambientes. El recibimiento con té, dátiles y galletitas, la paz y el silencio que se respira al entrar. Yo estuve en la habitación standard. Tenía todo lo necesario y más, cambiar el ventilador por un aire sería ideal pero de todas maneras no pasamos calor. Mí hija estuvo en una suite, nos encantó que se sintiera como una verdadera casa familiar. El desayuno es increíble. Creo que fue el mejor que me han dado. Ibrahim y su encantadora hospitalidad es para destacar. Me hubiera gustado disfrutar más tiempo en el Riad pero paseamos mucho. Lo recomiendo. Está muy bien ubicado además. Gracias por recibirnos con tanto esmero. Volveremos.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the location is excellent. What stood out the most was the staff, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They took great care of us and truly made us feel at home. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

Das Riad von Jean-Francois ist ein kleines Juwel. Etwas versteckt in einer Seitengasse ist es eine Oase der Entspannung. Sehr liebevolle Einrichtung und Ausstattung; unglaublich freundliches Personal. Kleiner Tipp: Auf Anfrage kocht Samira ein privates Dinner, das man auch auf der schönen Dachterrasse nehmen kann. Und vor allem: Besser als in all den Restaurants, in denen wir gegessen haben.

Das Riad ist ein Juwel, zauberhaft gestaltet und eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die Freundlichkeit und tatkräftige Hilfsbereitschaft aller Mitarbeitenden. Das Frühstück mehr als reichhaltig und das extra zubereitete Menü am Abend grandios lecker. Die Lage ist perfekt, mitten im Geschehen und doch in einer Seitengasse. Wir würden sehr gern wiederkommen.

The Riad is perfectly located near the Medina. Brahim & Francois are very friendly and accommodating, the whole place was comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast was pretty good and I had their home-made Moroccan dinner in the roof the last night of my stay..it was delicious with a great setting under the full moon

Beautiful, old Riad with original plaster, woodwork, and Zellige tile. Spotlessly clean! Antiques throughout. Very nice linens and attention to detail from a small, attentive staff. At the edge of the souks, very quiet and safe but in less than 2 minutes walk you are in the passages of the Medina. Two connecting bedrooms on the courtyard were perfect for our family of 4. We needed the AC in June and it worked very well. Quiet and elegant Riad with a lovely owner and staff. We would definitely stay here again. I did not include room photos because I forgot to take them! The rooms are spacious and bathrooms perfect and clean.

Wauw!!! Wat een fantastisch verblijf hebben wij hier gehad! Wat een ontzettend lieve mensen! Zowel de gastheer als de eigenaar die s’ochtend even langskwam. Ze hebben er alles aan gedaan om ons verblijf fantastisch te maken. De riad is echt magisch!! Het voelde bijna als thuiskomen, zo’n fijne sfeer! Een prachtig dakterras met uitzicht. De locatie is uitstekend! Je loopt zo de stad in. De volgende keer als wij weer in Marrakesh zijn, gaan we hier zeker weer boeken!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Soundouss in Marrakech. The atmosphere was beautifully authentic and inviting, making us feel right at home. Samira prepared delicious Moroccan dishes that were vibrant and flavorful. Brahim was always courteous and attentive, and Jean-François greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality.

J’ai réservé le séjour au Riad pour mes parents, après y avoir passé moi-même un excellent moment avec mon conjoint. Mes parents ont énormément apprécié leur expérience au Riad, Jean-François a été particulièrement accueillant, sympathique et aux petits soins. Le personnel a également fait preuve d’une grande gentillesse et d’une disponibilité remarquable. Le petit dej était super copieux et délicieux, ils ont également dîner sur le rooftop du Riad, c’était excellent. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und sehr authentisch. Wir wurden persönlich abgeholt und zum Riad gebracht, der Besitzer Jean-François und das gesamte Personal waren von Anfang an sehr zuvorkommend, besonders auch Ibrahim. Das Frühstück wurde liebevoll zubereitet. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

I like everything about this place. Friendly staffs, commodious rooms, excellent service and atmosphere impressed me a lot.

Sometimes the WiFi signal is a bit too weak but this does not matter at all when you have a lot to do in the city.

Francois and all hotel staffs are very kind like a family. We asked them for requests and they tried to manage. Different breakfast was served during our stay for 3 times. Our room kept clean every day. I really recommend this hotel.

Riad Soundouss is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the old city of Marrakech. We loved everything about it- from the beautiful aesthetics, to the kind and friendly staff and the incredible breakfast and dinner on the rooftop. Jean-Francois is a generous, accomodating and thoughtful host who makes you feel immediately at home. The room was calm, comfortable and charming.

Nothing - it was perfect!

Beautiful Riad, within 2 min walking distance to the Souks, but very quiet and calm. We had lovely stay here, thanks to Jean-François the owner and also Ibrahim (who seems to be always there to help with luggage, organize guides/transfers & and serves breakfast and dinner). Breakfast was superb btw! Plenty, fresh, a lof of choice and every day something different. Our kids loved it! You can also (pre)order a delicious 3 course dinner, homemade and for a good price. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay in the family room (which are really two seperate rooms with each their own ensuite but connected with a gallery over the courtyard & with only one entrance door). Private, but spacious. We loved it! Beds were comfortable too which is big plus (and not too hard, just firm which was good for our backs). P.s. Also a pretty & big roof terrace on top from which we enjoyed nice views over town.

Nothing. Just small tip for families with very young children: a babyphone might be handy due to the family room layout and because the wifi can be a bit spotty (we used a babymonitor app). We did like the layout with 2 completelty seperate bedrooms though! Handy if you dont want to go to bed the same time as the kids like it's often the case with single family rooms.

Fantastycznie...😀😀 Od przyjazdu do dnia wyjazdu wszystko było super . . Marrakesz jest głośny i chaotyczny co też ma swoje uroki ale wchodząc do Riad Soundouss cały ten zgiełk zostaje za tobą.. Największa zaleta to właściciel i obsługa " wszyscy bardzo mili " uprzejmi i uśmiechnięci...😆😆 do tego sam Riad wygląda cudownie " mieliśmy cudowny pokój z olbrzymią łazienką w stylu łaźni... Riad ma świetną lokalizację wszędzie można bez problemu dojść na piechotę...👍 Kolejny plus to śniadania " dla niektórych mogą być monotonne " ale nam smakowały i zawsze byliśmy najedzeni... 🥖🍳🥮☕️🍵😁 W Riad można również zamówić kolację co też zrobiliśmy " i była to swietna decyzja do tego stopnia że zrobiliśmy to ponownie 😄😄 Kolację są pyszne " wszystko smakowało niesamowicie " porcję są duże " i nie byliśmy głodni...😋😋 Podsumowując to cudowne trzy noce ..😆 Dziękujemy dziękujmy za gościnę 😘 i pozdrawiamy. .. 😊😊 Ewelina&Grzegorz... 😃

Wow what a place. We had a fantastic stay at Riad Soundouss! From the moment we arrived, Francois gave us the warmest welcome, treating us to mint tea with dates and biscuits and instantly making us feel at home. The riad itself is absolutely beautiful, full of traditional Moroccan charm. The peaceful courtyard and elegant interiors create a wonderfully authentic and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with lovely thoughtful touches throughout. After a day of exploring, it was such a treat to return to the soothing scent of verbena from the oil burner. The only slight disappointment was the WIFI was patchy in our room and the beds are a little too hard apart from that everything was superb. Each morning, breakfast was fresh, delicious, and served with real care. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay special, always happy to help with arranging our airport transfers, and even arranging a memorable day trip with a private guide to the stunning De L’Ourika Valley. Francois can arrange all the trips for you. The location is ideal—close enough to easily explore Marrakech, with just a short walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and Jardin Majorelle, yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. As soon as you step inside and close the door, the busy energy of the city melts away. One of our highlights was having dinner at the riad—highly recommended! We had both the lamb and Chicken tagine with prunes and almonds was unforgettable, and easily one of the best meals we had in Marrakech. Beautifully cooked in house. This is a must to try. 3 courses for just 25 euros. A special mention to Ibrahim who was absolutely amazing and nothing was to much trouble. He served breakfast and the service was fantastic. Riad Soundouss exceeded our expectations in every way. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special and authentic Marrakech experience.

Jean Francois was most welcoming! In advance of the trip he answered many questions, and during the stay he was always on hand to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Nothing was too much trouble for Jean Francois, and we are thankful for all his assistance ensuring we had an amazing trip, and an amazing stay. Everything from start to finish was wonderful. Arranging a car for pick up, lovely rooms, extensive and varied breakfast, to name but a few.

Beautiful Riad with very friendly staff, nice rooftop terrace. Breakfast was good too. A quiet place close to the busy Medina.

You can hear sound through your doors easily at night, eg people talking or prayers outside the property in the early morning, which might wake you up if you have light sleep

Picked up from the airport and arranged drop off for our hired car. In the middle of the medina, so very central. No problem with baggage as they will come and meet you and carry the baggage for the short walk in. The Riad is an oasis in the medina, spotless and very quiet. Rooms are very comfortable and well serviced each day. Highly recommended.

When planning a trip we tend to worry about the selections that we make, with photos on the screen and descriptions often painting an inaccurate view which fail to meet the image within our minds. Believe me when I say this place did exactly that - it didn’t meet my expectations - it exceeded them. The only thing that outdid the stunning interior, comfortable beds, spectacular views from the roof top, and the food that I would be more than happy to go three pant sizes up for was the exceptional and welcoming service the Riad staff provided. I cannot begin to describe how truly amazing this hidden gem is, and how hard it was to leave. As a solo traveller I would recommend this to anyone travelling to Marrakech and would implore families and couples to stay here for memories that will make you smile on even the darkest days.

Hemos estado 4 días en la suite familiar. El Riad es precioso y está muy bien ubicado. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y tiene todo tipo de detalles y todo lo necesario para el baño. El desayuno es espectacular, completo y abundante, pero si hay algo que destacar desde luego es lo bien que nos hemos sentido en todo momento incluso antes de la llegada, el dueño Francois atendió todas mis dudas y con mucha rapidez. El trato ha sido inmejorable, tanto de Francoise que realmente te hace sentir como en casa, como el resto de personal, especialmente de Ibrahim a quién nunca le falta una sonrisa y te atiende de una manera muy profesional. Ha sido un verdadero placer. Recomiendo reservas de excursiones y traslados al aeropuerto directamente con Francoise.

Un superbe endroit pour séjourner à Marrakech et très bien situé pour visiter la Médina et les alentours. Le Riad est magnifique et d'une propreté exemplaire. Nous tenons à remercier le gérant ainsi que toute son équipe aux petits soins avec les clients et toujours avec le sourire. Cuisine excellente et petit déjeuner très copieux avec tout ce qui faut pour commencer la journée. A vrai dire, tout était parfait. Encore un grand merci, je ne peux que recommander ce Riad et qui sait, peut être à bientôt 👍

Der Aufenthalt war unvergesslich schön. Das Riad ist wunderbar ausgestattet, es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht, und noch mehr. Die Betten sind super, das Bad top, flauschige Handtücher, ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender zimmerservice, ein reichhaltiges und sehr leckeres Frühstück. In allen Bereichen sehr gut -top- und wunderschön. Abendessen ist sehr lecker und wird auf eigene Wünsche angepasst. Die Dachterasse ist sehr schön und der Innenhof traumhaft. Das wunderbarste ist die herzliche Atmosphäre, die Besitzer und das Personal. Wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt, sind mit allen Fragen unterstützt worden und wirklich alles wurde so toll und herzlich organisiert. Selten so einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt erlebt. Wir wurden von Ankunft bis Abreise so wunderbar verwöhnt und umsorgt, hatten sehr viel Spaß und vielen lieben Dank dafür! 😍 traumhaft schön

C era un odore persistente di cibo/pesce che purtroppo rovinava un po’ l atmosfera di questo incredibile riad. Per il resto tutto incredibile.

El Riad es precioso, la habitación tiene todo tipo de detalles: información, bebida de cortesía, amenities, un montón de ropa de baño... El desayuno es copioso y magnifico, la ubicación es inmejorable, el ambiente es maravilloso...Pero sin duda alguna, el top de la excelencia viene por su personal: François, el dueño, ha estado constantemente pendiente de si nuestra estancia estaba siendo agradable, nos ha ayudado con los traslados, nos ha reservado algunas actividades, ¡e incluso nos invitó a tarta por su cumpleaños! Las chicas de la limpieza eran un encanto, y qué decir de Ibrahim...es un ángel en la tierra: tan servicial, tan sumamente amable, tan complaciente, tan solícito, tan simpático...siempre con una enorme sonrisa para nosotras. Nos dio todo tipo de consejos y siempre estuvo pendiente de nuestro bienestar. Es un sitio absolutamente de 10

Very clean and well located within the Medina. Good host and recommend you eat at the riad at least one evening. Breakfast is also very nice. Would recommend this to everybody

Breakfast was heavy on the carbs, more fruit (salad rather than a banana) would be nice. A bottle of water a day (rather than charging) would be expected given the room rate.

Le Riad est magnifique, la décoration et la literie raffinées, les odeurs exquises, le personnel est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle, les repas servis dignes d’un grand restaurant, le petit déjeuner très très copieux et varié. Nous avons vraiment passé un superbe séjour. Ibrahim nous avait même préparé un petit déjeuner à emporter pour notre avion qui décollait tôt. Et que dire de Jean-Francois le propriétaire des lieux ?!! Une âme sensible qui prend soin de son personnel comme de ses propres enfants, nous avons été très touchés par tant de bonté de cœur et de gentillesse. Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir. À bientôt.

Jean-François’ riad and hospitality was second to none. We had a great time in Marrakech that was enabled by his help booking different excursions, the warmth and humour of him and his team, as well as the delicious, generous breakfasts!

Riad Soundouss was beautiful beyond compare. Our rooms were very tastefully decorated. The location was just a short walk to the central medina and souks. Jean-Francois and Ibrahim were most warm and welcoming-we arrived as hotel guests and left as friends.

Estaba todo muy limpio, tenía muchos detalles de higiene personal en el baño,Francoise el dueño siempre atiende rápido a los whatsapp y te ayuda en todo, nos fue a recibir al taxi y al irnos igual, todo el personal ha sido maravilloso y muy atento y el desayuno es muy rio y contundente. Si vuelvo a Marrakech me alojaré allí de nuevo.

It is an absolutely stunning place to stay. From the moment we stepped in till we left we felt we were in an oasis. The food was also exceptional. Such wonderful hospitality too.

We liked this riad very much, both for the place and for the people. The place looks exactly as in the pictures, and you feel as soon as you step in that you have entered a fairy tale. It is really nice to return to this place after the madness around with all the noise, motorcycles, and people yelling. You feel like you're in a silent, relaxing sanctuary where you can rest. Both Ibrahim and Jean-François were very nice and made us feel welcome. Thank you both for all your kindness, smiles, and help (big thanks to Ibrahim), and for the friendly advice to Jean-François: you found a very good employee, so take care of him because he adds value to your riad. Breakfast was delicious, and we appreciated that each day we received different types of cakes and pastries alongside eggs, fresh juice, fruits, cheese, olives, etc. Overall, I may definitely recommend this place for any traveler who wants to relax in a te medina in a very nice and wellcoming surrounding.

Ik kan deze Riad Soundouss iedereen aanbevelen. Wat een fijn en warm verblijf! Dit is meer dan een 10 waard. Zowel de gastheer als Ibrahim en Nadia zijn super mensen :)

El trato fue excelente desde el primer momento. Brahim y François fueron siempre muy amables, educados y atentos, dispuestos a ayudar en todo y a hacer que la estancia fuera cómoda y agradable. También queremos destacar la simpatía y profesionalidad del personal de limpieza y de desayuno, siempre con una sonrisa. La ubicación del riad es perfecta, dentro de la medina, y el desayuno fue muy bueno y variado.

Nuestra estancia fue a finales de enero y, aunque no hacía un frío extremo, en la habitación la calefacción no era demasiado potente. Como pequeña mejora, quizá se podría reforzar un poco el sistema de calefacción en invierno para mayor confort. Por lo demás, todo estuvo muy bien.

Our visit was wonderful, from pre arrival communication to our departure transfer to the airport we were very well looked after by all of the team. Location is perfect, high quality breakfast and very comfy beds with nice bed linen. I would not hesitate to recommend this Riad. Marrakech is wonderful place and we were very lucky to have found this Riad! Thank you!
