Bay Breeze Accommodation

This is an extremely comfortable place to stay. It’s spacious and well equipped with hosts who go out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable. We really appreciated the little treats left for us to enjoy and extras like spades for Hot Water beach and very portable beach chairs. The area around has plenty of places to visit and the local tips we received were very helpful. We had very good weather, but even on a rainy day the books / games provided would have been a bonus and there was plenty of space to enjoy them. We’d be very happy to visit again-

Exceptional! Kitchen was so well kitted out, we cooked all our meals in bar one night out. Daily baked treats from Judy were delicious & fresh fruit & avocados on arrival. Everything is thought of, a home away from home but with those essentials that make it a holiday home. Books, games, spades for the beach. Nothing left out.

TV in bedroom could be upgraded to be able to connect to WiFi.

Beautiful property, close to the beach. Clean, comfortable and well equipped inside and with a small outdoor terrace and loungers. We were very warmly greeted. Nice area - near Hot Water Beach & Cathedral Cove, tremendous meal at Kaizan at Go Vino just 5 mins walk away. Seriously, if you're in the area don't hesitate - just make sure you stay longer than one night !

Excellent welcome by our informative host even though we checked in very late. The appointments were of superior quality and the position superb.

Heel fijn appartement op een steenworp afstand van het strand en twee fijne restaurants. Er ontbreekt je werkelijk niets in deze accommodatie en het is centraal gelegen voor alle bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving.

The location is wonderful - a short walk to the beach and local shops. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and spoilt us with delicious baking. They even helped us store our bikes which we were very grateful.

Exceptional accommodation! We had a wonderful stay, with Judy meeting us as we arrived and letting us into the apartment and telling us all we needed to know. We were in Cooks Beach to celebrate a friends birthday, so only stayed one night. The Bay Breeze was very close to the party venue, so an easy walk home - Judy was incredibly nice and dropped us off at the start (mega appreciated!). The apartment is self-contained and very spacious with a lovely little deck out front and to the side, plus a spacious kitchen and living room, then the 2 bedrooms are very spacious and well setup. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The bathroom is very roomy with a very nice powerful shower. We loved all the little touches, with a shower cap available and some cake in the fridge. The overall experience was Outstanding and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Judy and Murray. All the best for the rest of 2025.

Lovely place to stay. The attention to detail to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable was on point. Just perfect. Beds were comfortable. Place was immaculately clean. They provided beach towels and shovels for hot water beach. They, brought warm muffins in the morning and had fresh fruit from their trees. It was a very quiet area and rested very well. Thank you again to the amazing hosts.

The apartment is bigger and more secluded by plants than shown in the pictures, we liked it a lot indoors and outdoors. The street is quiet and the beautiful beach is right around the corner. Very nice hosts, fully equipped kitchen and very clean. Close to all major attractions.

We liked every single thing in this accomodation. We wish we would have stayed longer. Very welcoming and generous host. Would definitely come back.

Modern well maintained accommodation with great outdoor space and location.

Hosts were really friendly. They gave the shawls for used at the Hot water beach free.

Everything. High quality quiet accommodation within a 1 minute walk to the stunning Cooks beach. The location is ideal to go to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. Judy was an absolute delight and a very conscientious host. Fresh fruit and baked treats made a fantastic stay even better.

We found Bay Breeze to be well fitted out, extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. It was lovely being given some home made treats to have with a cup of tea, as well as fresh fruit. Bay Breeze was just a short walk to Cooks Beach and a good location to base yourself at in the Coromandel Peninsula.

The hosts live just next door and were very welcoming. We felt like we had good privacy, but could also easily reach out to the hosts when we needed to ask questions / borrow towels etc. Location was convenient and a short walk away from the beach and the restaurants

Situated 2 minutes from the beach, this gem exceeded our expectations. The hosts Judy and Murray not only spoilt us with fresh baking but provided all the gear required for a toddler, incl. a stroller, a cot and bedding, and toys.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Judy was very welcoming and friendly. She made excellent recommendations for restaurants, walks and other things to do in the area.

I didn't find the washing machine and dryer which was disappointing

Location- In the heart of Cooks Beach. Accommodation was everything we (3 single adults) needed. Really appreciate feet concession card to get to Whitianga with no restaurants open in Cooks Beach.

Excellent location

It is about 400 m to the beach. The location is quiet. The equipment is excellent, especially the kitchen. Everything is new and modern. The hosts live in the same house, but are discreetly in the background, although they are always available and very helpful. The only potential for improvement: the outdoor seating area is not covered, so that it cannot be used when it rains, which surprisingly we had plenty of.

Everything was perfect. The attention to detail was second to none. Within a few hundred yards to the beach. Only a short drito the Whitianga ferry. Stunning.

The hospitality was amazing. They did absolutely everything to make our stay great, especially when we had to stay on because of the floods. Amazing people and an amazing place to stay.

Great location, lovely owners whom met us and had lovely touches throughout the apartment and were also very kind to offer us additional local information, bring extra items and even thought of umbrella for us when it rained. :) so clean, tidy and homely. Would highly recommend staying here.
