In puncto Sauberkeit setzt die Wohnung bzw. das gesamte Haus Maßstäbe. Da gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Ein Lob an die Reinigungskräfte!

The Lonsdale Apartment was the perfect base for the start of our Cumbria Way walk.It was well equipped, beautifully appointed and easy to access...conveniently situated for Ulverston town centre and near to the start of the trail. It was exceptionally quiet . We were welcomed with tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits .

Everything apart from the bed and sofa bed. It had everything we needed :)

The bed and sofa bed were very uncomfortable for me and my husband, although we are quite tall so it is not necessarily anybody’s fault. We just didn’t sleep very well overall. Also, we were asked whether we could give our remote to another guest that had moaned about their remote not working. Which was annoying in the morning when my son wanted to watch television and we were not compensated for this.

Nice, bright and stylish rooms. Lovely garden area. Proximity to the town centre. Perfect for 2 persons and a dog.

There is nothing, not to like, it had everything you needed.

Our second visit as we were impressed the first time and this time around it didn't disappoint.

One minor thing the fan in the bathroom was on its way out, but the team probably weren't able to tell on change-over.

Nothing, food was available to order but was very easy to walk the 50m in to town for restaurants and bars etc. Public parking across the road.

No sheets for sofa bed when we arrived. Only two towels left when they were three of us staying. Bedroom and living room did not have a door between them and our daughter was sleeping in the living room. We had hoped to put our dog in there with her however our Dog wondered from room to room all night also she had to walk through our bedroom to go to the toilet so it wasn’t ideal

Being charged for pets and additional cleaning fee when the rug was absolutely covered in old dog hair! my socks were covered!

The apartment was modern, clean and easy to check yourself in, its close to the bars, restaurants and shops and we also done the walk up to the Sir John Barrow monument which we enjoyed on a beautiful sunny day, the views we're exceptional and clear at the top.

It was peaceful and quiet but still close to the centre of the town. As we had a basement apartment it was also cooler than the other floors which was good in this heat!

We didn’t have a view of the garden and it wasn’t quite as nice as the photos suggested- the sofa area was a bit characterless.

We came in a heatwave and were in the family apartment at the top so it was extremely hot! I would recommend air conditioning for the roof apartments would add an extra layer of comfort.

I didn’t receive my code to get my key but the staff supported me to gain access into my apartment

Massive clean fresh newly renovated apartment right in the centre of ulverston. Walking distance to bars and restaurants.

It was very clean , roomy and comfortable

Being at the front of the building,we found it very noisy, especially as the weather was very warm and needed the windows open. If you had air conditioning, we could have closed the windows.

Generally the apartments are great, clean, good facilities. The location is excellent.

The mattresses in the twin beds in Borrowdale(?) had seen better days, no spring and quite uncomfortable over night.

Well situated just off the market place. Lovely old town house with good clean facilities inside. Good check-in despite being ‘remote’

Always prefer face to face meeting with hosts but the check-in was made easy by good communication.

Nothing really. Only thing we booked à pet room & told we’d get pet bed, towel, bowls & treat & got nothing luckily I took blanket, towel, bowel & treats with me.

Place is clean and nice. Staircase is ample and garden is well kept. Furnishings were well selected.

The unit is technically a one bedroom ensuite with kitchenette and living room but they added a double bed in the living room. so it can be quite inconvenient to use at night particularly if you're traveling with people you are not close to. If you get the attic room be aware that there are lots of stairs and doors to get through especially if you have big luggages.

We were located at the front and that was quite noisy at night with people walking by and on Monday morning the bottles being emptied into the lorry at 6am

The sofa was very uncomfortable if you were in for the evening . Would be nice to have coat hooks above the boot mat as no where to hang wet coats Be nice to have two matching wine glasses !!

Paid extra for a breakfast to be delivered. It was huge so unfortunately had to waste quite a bit. Perhaps reduce the price and offer smaller portions. Was lovely though. Not a criticism just a suggestion

We had a very pleasant stay at Lonsdale House Apartments. The apartment was lovely and very clean, newly furnished, and had almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden was a lovely bonus — my little girl had so much fun and really enjoyed it. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.

The only downside was that we stayed during an extremely hot day and had booked the Helvellyn apartment, which is at the very top of the building. We didn’t mind the stairs, even with children and suitcases, but it may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There’s also no air conditioning, so the apartment became extremely hot and uncomfortable for all of us. We contacted the team about a fan, and although they did try to help, we had to collect one ourselves as there were no staff on site. Unfortunately, it wasn’t very effective, and even with the windows fully open, we didn’t sleep well because of the heat. Just something for families to keep in mind when booking during warmer weather — it may be worth asking about fans or cooling options in advance.

Our room was very spacious. It was nicely furnished and everything worked as it should. It was well located, just moments from Ulverston’s shops and restaurants.

The apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped.

The main photo is of a folly in the garden and gives no impression of the building. The apartments is unmanned and all communication impersonal. The beds in our twin room were soft and unsupportive. We struggled to arrange a baggage uplift as there is no supervisor on site.

Great Location, I have stayed here previously when it was a hotel. Check-in was easy and as described in the information we received before our arrival. The apartment was comfortable and as described. Top Tip for any stay, use the Stockbridge Lane Carpark, which used to be £1 for 24 hours, it has gone up to £1.50.

My only downside to the apartments was that the bed was too short, and we are not giants. Trying to sleep with our feet hanging over the edge of the bed was a bit uncomfortable. Also, the shower needs more non-slip strips, as it was like an ice skating rink

Just minor glitches Could have done with a veg peeler The only space for the kettle is in front of the microwave - so can't use both easily at same time. Toaster even more of an issue - ideally needs plug sockets further along the wall to allow easier use of equipment (Grasmere). Bed mattress was fine to sleep on - may need replaced by end of year though as springiness probably reducing

The location was superb for central Ulverston. A lovely property with a great garden, dog friendly. Has quality finish & furnishings. Plenty of hot water and was warm enough too.

The only improvement for us would be to have a firmer bed, as the one in Coniston was very soft and appeared to be tired
