Keep in mind that when you book here that the sports complex is next door as well as the park at owa.l meaning it’s LOUD! Way too many kids running around uncontrolled or supervised by parents. Loud all hours of night! Housekeeper was also super rude and hollered at my 2 year old for walking her wet floor mind you it was at breakfast time and she was mopping the lobby during high traffic times

We loved the wave pool, but we didn’t have access to any of the round tubes! Then we go inside but never was able to go down any slides the lines were so long. We didn’t even have a spot to put our things. After paying $100 a person for 2 days. We should had at least a chair , we didn’t even come back the 2 nd day. We did enjoy the lazer tag. But paid $50 bucks for 1 game .

We enjoyed the ice cream and lazy river where we didn’t have a tube as well either the pictures below you can see my kids alone in the beds as well as us sitting on the hot ground to eat lunch!

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Our stay at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Foley at OWA was fantastic, but what truly made our vacation unforgettable was Chloe at the front desk. We had booked one of the Marriott packages that included the OWA Theme Park and Tropic Falls Water Park passes, but there were unexpected issues with getting everything to work correctly. Even after speaking with Marriott Corporate, the process still wasn’t resolved. That’s when Chloe stepped in. Although this wasn’t something she was expected to handle herself, she took it upon herself to help us. She spent nearly 30 minutes patiently researching the issue, getting online, and walking me through every step so I could complete the booking myself. She never rushed us, never became frustrated, and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. What impressed me even more was that she accomplished all of this while simultaneously running the front desk. She was checking in guests, answering the phone, assisting other customers, and managing everything with complete professionalism. No matter how busy she became, she remained calm, friendly, and incredibly patient. She made every guest—including my family—feel like they were her top priority. Once everything was booked, Chloe took the time to explain exactly how the park passes worked, where we needed to go, what to expect, and even offered recommendations that made our trip even better. Her knowledge, positive attitude, and genuine desire to help turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one of the highlights of our vacation. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the entire staff was welcoming. But Chloe’s customer service is what truly sets this property apart. She is the perfect example of what hospitality should look like. When people talk about someone who genuinely loves their job, goes above and beyond, and treats guests with kindness and respect, they’re describing Chloe. We will absolutely stay here again, and one of the biggest reasons is because of the incredible service she provided. Thank you, Chloe, for making our family’s vacation so special. Your dedication, professionalism, and kindness will always be remembered and appreciated. TownePlace Suites is fortunate to have someone like you representing their hotel.

This was the worst, most expensive nasty place I have every stayed in my life.. Bed was nasty and very uncomfortable.. I had to change the sheets and the mattress cover.. I had my sheets but I had to go by a full mattress cover.. They pool area wasn’t clean and someone was letting outside kids come in and swim.. I asked for clean towels. they put them on the floor at the door and left the nasty at the door, instead of putting them in the room as I asked.. We not going to talk about the breakfast.. I’m just going to say, my family went out for breakfast..If I could give them less than a one I would.. I wasn’t able to move to another hotel because I booked through a private site.. Please stay away…

I loved the location and easy access to everywhere we needed to go. The rooms were nice, staff was very helpful and pleasant!

The only thing we didn't like was the dog hair from the couch in our room that got on our clothes... and we don't own pets.The water pressure in the room wasn't the greatest but the temperature was perfect!!!!!

I was on the bottom floor because my autistic son is scared of elevators and I was accommodated thanks to Mrs.Shanice.

I let the young lady know earlier that the power went off in the room and that it smelled like mildew. It bothered my kid asthma. She told me she would send someone out to check but didn’t. I notified the next person that was there doing checkout and she apologized for that issue and told me she hope to see me again. Mrs. Shanice was very patient and very outgoing. She made me feel a little bit better about my stay.

The linen on the bed had mold stains but the sheets were clean. The staff resolved that issue quickly.

This was home base for our Gulf Shores spring break and it was fantastic. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are very attentive. The free breakfast was great. The hotel was filled to capacity but our room was QUIET. We did not hear doors slamming and even though we were on the first floor, we did not hear people above us! It was so nice. The room layout was a bit odd but, it was spacious and the kitchenette was nice to have. I didn't like that the shower only had a half door as we seemed to make a mess of water on the floor after every shower but they gave is extra towels and we just cleaned it up. The pool was nice and kept at a good temperature. It is located within the Foley OWA that has a few shops and restaurants as well as an arcade and indoor water park and amusement park. We ate at a couple restaurants that were good and enjoyed the arcade. We also attended a magic/entertainment show at a theater there that was fantastic. We did not go to the water/amusement park as it was a bit expensive. The hotel is about 20 minutes from both Gulf Shores beach as well as Orange Beach Wharf. It was a good location to get around as we weren't only going to the beach. Would recommend for sure.

This was our 3rd time staying at the hotel. I love the walking distance to OWA. My kids absolutely love the whole experience. I also wanted to make a review about Shanice at the front desk! I made a mistake with my booking and my season pass discount. But she went above and beyond fixing, which in turned saved me a lot of money. We will be back for a 4th visit thats for sure!

Clean room as far as clean sheets and bedroom floor.

The bed was not fully made and tucked in sheets. There was hair in the shower floor. The trash can in the bathroom was left on the toilet. And 100% false advertisement for a water feature inside the hotel. That was what was the worst description - made the trip,coming off a 8 hr drive to spent well over 300.00 for a mediocre hotel. NEVER AGAIN. AND I will certainly let other travelers and travel outlets know that its not worth the stop - not for what they are trying to advertise.

The staff was very pleasant and actually talked with us when we met them in the halls! The hostess that checked us in was super nice and knowledgable. We are coffee drinkers and when I asked for a few extra coffee pods for the room, she had them handy! The room was great! As we were walking down the hall, it was a bit concerning due to noise, but once the room door was closed, nota sound was heard from the hall! That was great! The room was spacious and clean! I was very happy with our choice in hotels!

Breakfast was a mad house. Waiting on the waffle iron was a good 10-15 minute wait at least. I think I opted out of waffles until the last morning. We tried varing our breakfast time, anywhere from 7:00AM to 8:30AM, but it was very busy no matter when we walked down there.

I love how spacious the suite was for me and my three kids. I like how the indoor pool does not close until 10 PM.

I love how we were about 60 seconds from the waterpark. We went as soon as they opened so it took about five minutes to get in, a huge plus is that the whole waterpark accepts cash? Oh yeah, in the beach was about 25 minute drive we had a great time.

Omg breakfast was spectacular and the young lady that was on breakfast duty did an amazing job with keep the area reloaded and wiping as she goes I reach out to her and told her thank you for an amazing job. Everything was clean hot and fresh

I felt as I knew Ms Shanice personally Great job keep smiling and treating everyone like somebody🥰when coming through the doors I felt that genuine welcome and when I plan another trip I will stay at this hotel again. Shanice was amazing at the front desk!!

This place is really nice. It is connected to OWA, so it is just a quick walk to the shops, food, and entertainment. The staff here is also super nice and accommodating. We brought our dog with us, and they put us in a room that was easy to get to the outside doors quickly to take him out for his potty breaks. The lady at the front desk even helped us with out check out to make things super easy for us. Her name was Shanice, and let me tell you, she is such a pleasure. Her happy personality just make things even better. I highly recommend staying at this facility.

We recently stayed at this location and were very pleased. The staff, especially front desk agents, Shanice a& Shanquia were very friendly, welcoming and accomodating. We were traveling with our 15 year old dog and requested a room on the 1st floor to make it easier for our beloved pet. They were very sweet about it and made it happen. The place is a great location if you are going to OWA. Very convenient and has all the ameneties we wanted (pool, gym, breakfast). We stayed here last year and would definitely stay again. April E.
