Frankie provided a very good and friendly service. He made sure that we have a great stay and that we get all the necessary tickets for Zhangjiajie.

Wonderful stay for our honeymoon. Very conveniently located to the Zhangjiajie national park, delicious food, beautiful refreshing pool, great sound system and music taste and the kindest staff, especially Frankie and the tea master! We thoroughly recommend this stay.

We had a great stay at the hotel. They reallly make a effort so that all our needs are attended to. The room has a amazing view e the staff are very helpfull. The fact that can easily comunicate in english is also great. Frankie e the lady from the tea room (I’m so sorry I forgot her name) were really special. I highly recommend the hotel!!

Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Avatar Mountains and the national park. Service from the airport and to all attractions, whenever you want. Rain was very helpful and professional. Spoke very good english and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely the best way to enjoy your trip to that region. Super unique stay in Zhang Jia Jie! 1000/10 recommend if you are visiting. Food was delicious, hospitality was amazing, Frankie was really helpful and kind. The rooms and atmosphere is very relaxing and zen, there’s a beautiful infinity pool and another pool. Lots of activities and a tea master at the hotel was one of a kind !

I recently just went on a big China trip and visited the beautiful Zhangjiajie region. Staying at No. 5 Valley was an incredible experience. The host Frankie was super helpful and hospitable. The property is in a very scenic, remote area. Around 1 hour from Zhangjiajie Train Station. The food options were vast and very accommodative and the resort. Had several activities going on throughout the day. Arts and crafts, tea ceremonies and much more. I really enjoyed my stay and I'm looking forward to coming back. This is an excellent place to stay and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Zhangjiajie. Accessibility to the Zhangjiajie park is about 10 mins away and about 1 hour from the Tianmenshan park. The hotel provides transportation for anywhere you need to go in Zhangjiajie. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have an amazing experience at a beautiful stay in Zhangjiajie

It was a very memorable stay for our family here. The view was exceptional. The best part about our stay is having Frankie coordinate everything for us from pick up at train station, dinning, tickets to Zhangjaijei National park to the ins and outs of the area. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were very accommodating. I would love to stay here again next time I visit.

This is a fantastic secluded hotel, with amazing friendly service, it was. 1 hr ride from the airport but less than200rmb in a taxi, well worth the effort as the location is stunning and the service first class

The place is amazing! So beautiful and the staff is great! The food is farm to table , the food is really good. You can bake your own cookies and we had the best tea experience I have gone to tea houses in Japan and this lady , her tea which she makes herself is one of the best teas I ever tried. And I love tea. I will definitely vibe back if I have the opportunity. Spectacular views of the mountains and sunsets . Also you can walk around . I definitely recommended .

From the moment we arrived, Rain ensured our stay was seamless & enjoyable, demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. He went above & beyond to provide us with all the information we needed to explore the Wulingyuan National Park, even helping us purchase tickets & offering insider tips to make our visit truly memorable. The beautiful & elegant Yang Mei made our experience even more special, treating my husband & me like old friends. Her calligraphy lessons were both engaging & inspiring, while her vast knowledge of tea allowed us to appreciate the delicate flavors and nuances of each variety she prepared for us. We will always cherish the thoughtful gifts she bestowed upon us. After 2 days of exploring the stunning landscapes of Wulingyuan National Park, we were able to unwind and rejuvenate at the resort for the remainder of our stay. The serene atmosphere and picturesque surroundings allowed us to connect with nature, breathe in the fresh air, and truly relax. To anyone seeking a remarkable getaway filled with warmth, hospitality, and unforgettable experiences, No.5 Valley Resort is the perfect choice. Excelente servicio, amabilidad y disponibilidad por parte de todo el personal, Frankie te ayudará con lo que necesites durante tu estancia, como transporte del aeropuerto o estación de tren hacia el hotel, transporte a las atracciones, guía, etc…, la maestra de té YangMei con gran amabilidad te dará de su gran variedad de tés. Instalaciones muy bonitas y vista excelente, comida deliciosa.

Beautiful property and amazing hospitality. We were only here for 2 nights but felt right at home. Frankie took care of everything even before we arrived to Zhangjiajie and arranged for our entire trip from start to finish, including daily transport in and out of the park, and our wonderful dinner one of the nights. We even sang karaoke on our last night. Its a lot of fun! I highly recommend if anyone is considering. The west entrance is also quiet and away from the crowds for a quiet retreat.

We had a wonderful time at No. 5 from beginning to end. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and modern whilst being right in nature. We were very well looked after by the staff especially Frankie who went above and beyond every day even helping us organise trips and buy tickets and driving us to the entrance of the national park. He was even on hand over Alipay chat to answer questions we had whilst on day trips. Frankie’s dog was also very sweet and warmly greeted us whenever she saw us :) Yama served us wonderful tea and was fascinating to speak to. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place. The surrounding area is amazing and we so enjoyed the national park, ancient town and “Grand Canyon”.

It was amazing and beyond what you see in photos. From the time of arrival, we were greeted warmly and professionally by Frank. The comfort of the room, the delicious meals, serene and beautiful setting made it a comfortable retreat after long days in the National park. We were pleasantly surprised by the tea master who is often available to serve up a variety of teas. It was delicious and educational. You are better off with car as it is some distance from town and the main park entrance, but it’s worth it to stay away from the crowds. I’d stay there again!

Sehr schönes Hotel in der Nähe des Zhangjiajie National Park. Wenn man Ruhe, Natur etwas Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist man hier genau richtig. Mein Hitelzimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Personal war super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Insbesondere Frankie war ein hervoragender Gastgeber. Er hat mir alle Transport und Touren organisiert, damit alles reibungslos klappt.

We had a great stay at the No. 5 Valley Lodge! The staff are very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel is located very close to the West Entrance of the park and offers rides to the entrance on days you wish to explore. On our day at the resort, there were fun activities organized by the hotel, a beautiful pool overlooking the valley, and rice fields you could walk along! If we ever return to Zhangjiajie, we will be sure to return!

Amazing scenery. The resort is very well kept and has friendly staff. The hotel receptionist Rain was extremely helpful, he helped me with booking all the activities i wanted to do and explain the process i should follow and timings. He kept up with me via phone chat to make sure everything was in order. They also will provide shuttle for your own activities at an additional price

We had a wonderful stay at No. 5 Valley Lodge. The staffs were so helpful and friendly. Frankie was the best. He arranged everything for us from national park tickets, meals, transportation. Anything we ever needed. They were also available through wechat at all times if we had any questions. The hotel is far from downtown (if you want to go to other destinations) but very close to Zhangjiajie NP. Highly recommend this place and we would absolutely book again if we come back.

We had a fantastic stay at No.5 Valley Lodge. The accommodation was fabulous, great infinity swimming pool with Mountain Views, hotel restaurant serves authentic delicious dishes. The receptionist was extremely helpful :) He contacted my via WeChat ahead of the trip to help arrange a pick up from the airport. He also arranged 2 days of tours for us with driver and guide. This was all last minute ! Thank you again, we will recommend this hotel to friends and family. Zhangjiajie is one of the most impressive scenery in China. Must visit !

The resort is in a beautiful, natural location with easy access to the National Park and great views across the valley. The staff are super attentive and at least two speak very good English if needed - Rain in particular was extremely helpful. We really enjoyed the food in the Chinese restaurant (less so in the Western one) and the infinity pool is a great spot to relax if you want to give your legs a rest from hiking. The rooms are a generous size and well maintained. Overall a really enjoyable stay but maybe just a little overpriced.

We were very well looked after by Rain who contacted us before we arrived and organised everything we needed for our stay from batteries to entrance tickets. The views were stunning, the hotel room was gorgeous and spacious, the bed was comfortable; plenty of hot water.

Our experience was awesome! we took a small honeymoon without kids and was a lovely stay. The hotel is really clean, the rooms were in excellent conditions. All really clean, the bed was perfect, the TV with great movies selection. Not to mention the overall place that was amazing, so much nature around us. Also the hospitality of all the people was lovely, Rain help us with everything, very nice, friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious and home made. We are looking forward to go back with our children there to enjoy that warm infinity pool over the mountains.

Gorgeous property have stayed here twice already:) super close to the national park. most staff is v helpful and professional. Yummy food. Perfect views. Love the pool. It’s in the woods so expect some insects but totally understandable.

The facilities at No. 5 Valley Lodge are great. It is close to Zhangjiajie and has a shuttle that transports people to and from the site. Rooms are clean and spacious and the overall scenery is great. I enjoyed interacting with the staff who were always very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend a stay at Valley Lodge.

It was à great stay with friends, the property, the staff and the manager Rain was our little care during thé 4 days. I recommend 1000 % and I hope to come back with my boyfriend one day. Thanks a lot thé Valley Lodge.

This place was a dream. I’ve never had such a good experience at a place. Johnathon was SO helpful every step of the way, everyone was so kind and the food was phenomenal, the lady who cooks the food in incredible. The place is expensive but if you’re on the fence, do it. This place goes above and beyond. I chose a room with the bathtub on the balcony, and the ONLY problem I had with the whole stay is that the bathtub was too perfect and I didn’t want to get out. I had to force myself to get out and go see the sights.

No public taxi in hotel... Very far from Zhangjiejie.. Take lot of money to return back to Zhangjiajie. No food in hotel. Breakfast near hotel is terrible. Photos in Orbitz are not exactly same as in real ones.

Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Rooms are very traditional and the size is big. The view is great towards the valley downhill. Be aware that it is very quiet rutral area.

This has more of an eco-lodge vibe than a straight 5-star hotel. The views from the rice terraces are absolutely stunning. The bedroom was very comfortable and I enjoyed showering under natural light. The service was great and they had an English-speaking representative who organised everything for us, from hotel pickup to on-demand shuttles to the entrance of the park. However, the breakfast was pretty limited and there was a power cut.

The team at No. 5 Valley Inn is exceptional. They knew everything to make my stay perfect. The location is perfect for seeing the park. The food is great home style cooking. Even the internet worked great, which is unusual for China. Highly recommended

Brilliant! Wholeheartedly recommended. Lovely wooden lodges on a hillside with an enchanting view of the valley. Very well appointed inside with everything you could need. Great local food served. Great location just a few minutes by hotel battery car from the very quiet western entrance to Zhangjiajie National Park. But best of all was the service from all the staff and in particular our host Amber. She was in touch a few days before we arrived to check if we needed help getting there. Once there she attended to our every need and gave us a great map and invaluable advice on where to go each day which really made our trip. She also arranged a car and a driver for us on the day we went further afield. The hotel even has tiny mobiles/ GPS trackers you can take each day if you wish so that you can easily contact your host at any point in the day if you need help or advice!

We had an amazing stay at No. 5 Valley Inn- it was the highlight of our trip to China. The room and views were stunning and the food was good. Our host Amber was so accommodating and helpful. We would highly recommend it.

This property is truly special. The staff goes out of the way to make you feel welcome and at home. Staying here made our trip. After a couple long days spent in the park coming back to this haven was everything we wanted! The location is so peaceful and beautiful and right near the park entrance. We splurged a little and booked the “suite” with the tub on the balcony and it was worth it

We really liked this hotel. Really perfect for visiting the National Park (Avator) as it is about 5 minutes drive. The hotel had stunning views and the food was delicious and plentiful. The room was clean and had a traditional mixed with modern facilities. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. Our stay was really enjoyable despite it raining. We were able to visit Tianmen Mountains despite it being 1 hour and 15 minutes drive. This was arranged for us. Big thanks to Amber especially for all her help. We would happily come and stay here again.

No, 5 Valley Inn was a beautiful inn in the Zhangjiajie area. It had stunning views and great food. There were free shuttles to the the national park daily. On our last day, it was gorgeous outside, so we decided to stay and relax at the pool. Amber, the "butler" of the inn was amazing and made sure everything was perfect, always with a smile on her face!

I would definitely recommend this hotel, it’s beautiful and the staff is very nice. Amber and Roberta were incredibly helpful fulfilling all of our needs and requests.

The setting was unbelievable and so was the food. The facility is new and they still have some kinks to work out.

It was really great hospitality and service in a very beautiful Valley. They took care of our transfer to the airport at a reasonable cost and free ride was available upon our request from/to the national park. All the people were so responsible and did their best to meet our requests. Nice view from the swimming pool on top of the valley and the rooms there also enjoyed such deep long shot view. the only problem was low pressure it was not that comfortable when took a shower which was not a big thing.

If you want to get away from civilization and into nature then this place is for you. Extremely friendly staff, great resort, home grown food and more. Highly recommend spending a few nights here.

带父母入住，管家李枚入住前一天就提前沟通，热心帮忙规划游玩线路和预定晚餐。当天按照预定路线到达杨家界门票站外，司机大哥已经取好托运的行李等着，顺利入住好享受房型升级至荷塘的福利。荷塘的燕子、熊阿姨和吕阿姨厨艺棒棒哒，吃到了刚出锅的红薯粑粑，特别赞。特别感谢客房清洁的阿姨，退房时将随时小包落在房间，上车都没有发现，幸亏阿姨及时送还，完璧归赵，32个赞！

本次出行最满意的安排，位置正好在国家森林公园游览路线的中间位置，不走回头路。管家李玫的服务贴心，免费升级房间至望荷，并安排接送和晚餐。荷塘燕子、吕阿姨和熊阿姨的厨艺很赞，饭菜吃起来有家的味道。特别感谢打扫的阿姨，将我遗留在房间的物品及时送还，拾金不昧。
