The staff was professional and welcoming,the room was well prepared and clean. The water was warm but not to satisfactory. It is also secured and in a very quiet and peaceful area. Otherwise I was happy and will definitely go back there and enjoy my stay.

The receptionist very helpful 👏 👌 and polite. When we arrived our bags were brought up to our room, as senior citizens they helped us connect to wifi and helped us around PTA. I will definitely return. The breakfast was delicious and well organized 👌 Im really happy.

I had an excellent experience at Waterkloof Guest House during my July 2026 trip. The property offers outstanding service, spotless cleanliness, and great value for money. The location is convenient, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Sleep quality was very good, and overall the guest house provided a welcoming atmosphere that made my stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure.

The bed in the room was very old and not comfortable. I requested to me moved to another room and the bed was the same old and not comfortable.

The place was really awesome and secure!!! Would surely recommend it. The facility was great! Hope to be able to sleep here very soon again!!

After the shower, the water was all over the floor, and I had to use my shirt with their towels just to be able to clear the water and walk

The only disappointment was that when I booked online I chose an option included breakfast, but when I got there I was told that online bookings do not include breakfast. It was very disappointing.

The location is close to all the shops and restaurants.

No attention to detail. Curtains were not properly hanged. No warm blankets. No extra blankets. Window sills where full of dust. Hairdryer was broken. The family room wasn’t like advertised on Bookings.com (a bit outdated). You can see that the guest house isn’t maintaining the rooms.

What's there not to like?! The guest house in its entirety, everything is up to scratch, top notche👌🏾Just as you enter the parking area, the atmosphere is so inviting. Then you get to the reception, welcomed by very warm & professional staff. You get to the room, the antique style, mixed with modern, furniture; is timeless. The room size, everything in it, from all the amenities inside... It's on another level. The gardens, very well kept, you can relax & have a quiet time by the pool, or just sit outside your room to enjoy the serene/ tranquil environment. Or go to the bar area or restaurant/ dining area to eat, drink any hot beverage of your choice, or just to relax. I enjoyed that you can have a shower in a heated bathroom... That place feels so homely.

Well the shower area is just too small, the bathroom is a bit cramped. But it looks lovely. They should reconsider their checkout time to 11h00 as it is a standard in most hotels/ guest houses

Everything about the guest house was really comfy. The room was spacious, and it had aircon it was really needed. So, I loved everything about the property and the staff was excellent.

We were originally booked at Waterkloof guest house then that same afternoon we had to check in (9 May), we received a message saying there was maintenance issues with our room, and they had to move us to another guest house near club surgical. I was so looking forward to staying at the Waterkloof guest house this was so disappointing. The room we got was tiny it really wasn't what we had paid for and were so looking forward to

The room was clean but the furniture and décor felt somewhat dated. A renovation or refresh would greatly improve the overall guest experience. You can also hear someone talking and walking outside.

The place is peaceful, security is good and it’s quiet. The staff are the highlight of it, very helpful.

There actually no Netflix or YouTube or any streaming channels. They just had DSTV with limited channel options. This was disappointing for me, haven’t been to a modern day guest house that doesn’t even have YouTube.My friend and I basically just slept because there was nothing at all to watch on the TV. Also there was not even one bottle of water in the room, also the first guest house I’ve been to that doesn’t even offer at least one bottle of water.

service was professional. the room was big enough and has a spacious space to walk around. it around the malls and its at the centre not far from shops and malls. is that access to the place is anytime and the quiet of the place makes it better.

Perfect location for a concert night out. Comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast with fabulous all round service.

Bathroom was small, especially the basin. Bottom of basin (Pypes) was dirty, bathroom window looks old and rusty. Shower not very practical with bench.

There were cockroaches, we found sheets that were dirty with hair and other questionable remnants. Cleanliness should be improved

The shower is in the bath and sprays past the glass screen, wets the whole floor, not an issue, just inconvenient.

The wall between rooms must be very thin as you can hear every movement and conversion from the room next door. That is the only negative of our stay

Everything was working. They available till late for check-in. The room had everything a person would need.

The room could use a proper clean and tidy up. Its was very dirty under the fridge, when you open it you could see it. There was gum on the hair dryer and it was sticky, hair on the bathroom floor and the curtains are dirty and not hanging neatly.

I Love everything about the place, level of attention to detail amazes me. We also enjoy our stay when visiting Pretoria and Waterkloof never disappoints.

Had to switch rooms 5 times (literally). The first room was dirt, the second room’s aircon sounded like a tractor, the third had a cockroach coming out of the aircon at start-up

Knowing the rooms are old. There is a lack on detail ie. Curtains hang off rail. No aircon remote has to borrow from my neighbour. Due to excessive rain all the doors are stif and needs to be slammed to close properly. Leaking drain next to entrance door. 27
