Long walk from town. Accomodation at top of big hill! Entrance lounge very bare. Kitchen stunk. Garden wasnt maintained well. Not clear on what bins were for what outside.

Staff were lovely and the accomodation was just what I needed. I stayed there 3 times in total. Some lovely views out of the kitchen windows if you are staying in certain buildings.

Awesome value for money. Very clean and a kitchen you could use.

We spent just one night here on our travels, but this cute cottage made a great impression. It has everything a family or group of friends needs for a comfortable stay. We would love to return and use it as a base to explore the area further!

The apartment has 4 Individual room with toilets; kitchen as dining and catering area. Spacious and neat.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas weiter außerhalb der Ortschaft, als ich abends ankam, gab es keine Busverbindung mehr. Ca 30-40 Minuten Fußweg vom Bahnhof Perth waren mit dem großen Rucksack ehern unangenehm.

Having access to a kitchen was beneficial, the rooms were comfy and clean. Free bed linen.

Some paper towels in the bathroom would have been ideal as no towels supplied

For being a budget friendly hostel you have lots of free space, your own shower and toilet, the kitchen is only shared with a couple rooms so it's not so busy as in other hostels. The room is simple but you have all you need. Nice location.

This is a great place to stay and 24hr reception in next block and fellow guests were really friendly. It feels safe for lone female travellers.. However guests had left cooker really dirty and reception would not rectify this so I had to clean oven before I could use it. Its in a very private wooden place and very near country and town, so I would definitely go back.

Single room. Good not having to pay for a double room when all I needed was a single. It wasn't large, but still had an ensuite bathroom - and plenty of sockets. And having access to the kitchen inc fridge, freezer, etc, was very handy. There were also comfy chairs in there, and with floor to ceiling glass out to the balcony, it was lovely and bright.

Only finding out by reading the small print and sending a message that towels cost £3 each. I found out in time and took my own. It should have been made clear. The shower curtain rail is set too high, so water splashes under the curtain all over the floor and there's no cloth provided to wipe it (I used a flannel). They should also make clear in advance that you have to make your bed on arrival and strip it on departure.

The hostel was clean and comfortable. Hostel is out from the city centre so need to use local buses or walk for half an hour or so. Staff were available and helpful when needed.

An apartment is 5 rooms with a kitchen. Each room can accommodate 2 adults. Plenty of space.

Kitchen was not so clean and had very few utensils to use. Rooms were very basic with just a bed and a table. Not kid friendly.

Unlike many YHA that are in buildings with a "front desk" Perth has rooms in shared flats and an external office (whose phone number should be in each room).. This makes it difficult to "police" flats. Taking this into account, there should be a clear set of guidelines that visitors should have to read and sign when they check in. For example, to be quiet after 10pm, not to give other people access to a flat who aren't staying there, making sure that the external doors are closed (the heating came on in the bedrooms during the heatwave because the external door in the kitchen was open and the thermostat is in the kitchen). Also, there should be more information in the flat about equipment and heating. On one evening, I was woken at eleven pm by the two new residents arriving with the rest of their large group (about 15 adults and 2 children) speaking at full volume and using our kitchen as a common room. I felt quite threatened by this. If there are large parties of people, they should either be housed in self-contained units where they can meet or it should be made clear that they can't congregate in large numbers in flats where there are residents who are not in their group.

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, camera spartana ma completa di bagno privato. Va bene per un soggiorno di una, massimo due notti soprattutto se fate un viaggio on the road. Raggiungibile facilmente in auto. Parcheggio interno alla struttura gratuito.

Booking scrive che la fine del check in era alle ore 21, ma in realtà la reception è aperta h24 e per questo motivo ho dovuto tagliare l’itinerario inutilmente. Mancano gli asciugamani e il phon. Manca l’aria condizionata o un ventilatore, di notte ho sofferto un po’ il caldo.

Excellent value for money. We were greeted warmly by a very nice guy, who explained the various systems. The room was clean and the shower worked well. The shared kitchen was also very handy.

There was a slightly unpleasant odour on the room, but everything was clean and the room did the job for us.

La ubicación, dentro de Perth, y la disponibilidad de aparcamiento.

Al entrar en la habitación había un olor a arroz cocido, de hecho, nos encontramos granos de arroz en el escritorio. Es una habitación doble, pero son dos camas individuales, por cierto, con colchón incómodo. Las sábanas tienes que recogerlas tú mismo y llevarlas a una zona de lavandería. No proporcionan toallas ni amenities (gel, champú...). No había perchas para la ropa. El extractor del baño tardaba muchísimo en apagarse, es incómodo cuando intentas dormir.

Pleasantly surprised. To say it's a youth hostel it was just as good as some hotel chains. It was very quiet and comfortable. Will definitely book again.

Teníem un apartament de 5 per nosaltres. El personal amable i ben situat per anar amb cotxe. Cuina complerta. Correcte per ser dels preus mes baixos de l’entorn

Son apartaments d’estudiants amb habitacions individuals amb el seu bany. No feien aspecte d’estar molt nets els llits que t’havies de fer i desfer tu, el mobiliari molt atrotinats i els banys minúsculs i el nostre amb una olor desagradable. Sense tovalloles

La ubicación, aunque a las afuera de la ciudad, fácil comunicación con buses. Como residencia universitaria que es el resto del año: lo espartano del alojamiento (habitación en suite con cocina-salón compartido) Facilidad de autorealización comidas.

Parte del personal valor cero, otros espléndidos. Falta de mantenimiento instalación habitación.

Excellent value for money and a really good idea to use student accommodation in summer for such a purpose. The room was rather big with a couple of desks and a communal kitchen which is very useful.

The buildings are essentially a student halls of residence, with flats of six rooms with a common kitchen and seating area. This is better than most hotels can offer at this sort of price point, especially if you are able to take on multiple rooms. The room was decent, with a fairly comfortable bed, and a useful sized desk. Parking is excellent with lots of spaces available. We had no problem finding room for a pickup and large trailer for one overnight.

Maintenance seems to be slipping a little since I last stayed here. In my room I noticed a light fitting that had come away from the ceiling, a heated towel rail held together with insulating tape, and a curtain track which had been knocked out of position by the window behind it. There was work going on to resurface the car park and approach roads, so there is effort going in. I might have been unfortunate in the timing of my trip, not long after the students had left.

Great easy booking

The shower ran cold and the fitted sheet had crease marks like it had been slept on. I had to put on the quilt cover. Inside the quilt cover was a very creased pillow case. The mattress was like sleeping on springs. Very very uncomfortable.

This was an inexpensive but extremely comfortable place to stay. We were visiting family in Crieff so the location in Perth wasn't an issue for us. However as accommodation it was excellent. Clean, comfortable with a nice balcony off the kitchen living area. We were pleasantly surprised and would definately stay here again

My only gripe, and probably something I should have noticed in the write up was the lack of a TV. Understandable for student accommodation but outwith term time it would enhance the properties more if a TV were made available, especially for families with young children.
