Location was brilliant set right in the center of Chinatown in a little maze of a back alley. Super chill quiet and calm amoungst the very busy streets. And the aircon is brilliant. Definitely the perfect accommodation in Chinatown

Barely anything to like.

Everything. The size, it says an entire apartment, it's a tiny room. The price didn't match the expectations, I had to book somewhere else that turned out bigger, better and cheaper and even better location. After only 1 night stay, I had to leave the place, had paid for a whole week. Too small for 2 people, no where to put 4 suitcases. Very disappointing.

This is actually several streets away from the main chinatown street food area, so it gets rather stinky and scary at night. The first room they gave us was dirty and had no net on the window, so we had plenty of mosquitos in the room plus one lizard. We managed to trade it for another room, but ended up not staying there all three nights due to low value. Balcony overlooks an adjacent wall

Everything, The air conditioner is not cold+has a musty smell, old and unclean bathroom, hard mattress, old blankets and stains, TV does not work.

The apartment is located far deep inside a small alley. It's difficult for drivers to get to the apartment front. They also told me the area around is unsafe for a lady traveling alone to stay.

Reasonable price for what you get… staff is helpful and efficient, 24 hour counter service so you can drop off bags while you wait for check in, they provide daily amenities, little shop in lobby, location was nice… close to this market that seems to be a local wholesale market. Close to a little food mall with great restaurants and smoothies! Nice balconies too

The bed is the outstanding misfortune… quite literally as hard as sleeping on the floor… bought a camping air mattress and that helped. During day time if you take a taxi (ect…) they will not be able to drop you off at the actual hotel and you will have to navigate the alleys but not the biggest deal. Finally the bathroom stinks and will stink up the whole room after running any water… definitely mixed water and not filtered… would be nice if they provided bleach cleaner in the room so you can eliminate that powerful smell

Sempheng Apartment is centrally located in Bangkok, which is one of its biggest selling points. It’s close to transportation hubs, markets, and local attractions. You’ll find plenty of food options around, and it's relatively easy to access both tourist and local hotspots. The rooms are quite basic but clean and functional. You can expect essentials like air-conditioning, a small fridge, and comfortable bedding. It’s a decent place if you’re not planning to spend too much time in your room. The staff is generally friendly and willing to help with basic requests. English-speaking staff may be limited, but they usually manage to assist guests with the most common needs.

The area can be busy and noisy, especially during peak hours, so light sleepers might find it a bit disruptive. The furniture and decor can feel a bit outdated. The rooms may not offer much in terms of luxury, and some guests have mentioned that the cleanliness could be inconsistent. Don’t expect the same level of comfort or luxury as you would get from higher-end accommodations.

In the heart of Chinatown, located right inside the maze of passageways that make up the yarawat market. The 24 hour front desk made it very easy to come and go as I pleased. Great to have a small balcony overlooking the temple next door.

A bit on the small side with a fairly primitive bathroom. But as a solo traveller this didn’t really bother me.

This is a very basic room. No plug socket by bed. Bathroom basic, if you have a shower the spray goes everywhere. No bin in bathroom for toilet paper. Balcony has a brick wall up against it, so no view of anything. The bed was as hard as a brick, I like a hard bed, but I struggled to sleep on this one, waking up aching. Taxis cannot get to the outside of the property, which means you have to walk to a taxi or go to main street for a tuk tuk. The location is good although it's down a back street, which can be daunting for a women on her own. Staff member i dealt with didn't speak very good English & neglecting to tell me the key had a fob to get in & out of the building.

It was close to the markets. There are washing machines you can use.

This apartment located in china town area where you can find all the foods and stuffs. The night market was amazing , they opened all night long and you can shop everything around there with the reasonable price.

Our room smell a lil bit bad , everything was great aside from the smell issue.

The room was a little small, but for the price it might not have been. I was previously in Pattaya where prices are a little cheaper and my room was more spacious. I got a good deal at Sampheng though.

Bed is hard like most beds in Thailand. The room smelled of incense.

I had a comfortable stay. The room was clean, tidy and presentable. One small issue was the washbasin leaked. Yes it’s set back down an alleyway but I never felt unsafe or felt that was an issue. Yes I would stay again.

Everyone was very nice! The room was very nice (for such a price), although the bathroom had some issues (my faucet was broken). Due to it being right in/near China Town, there was always good food and other shops to find. The back alleys are a little scary at night (behind the hotel). Would recommend for people trying to save money and not being too picky :)

It has everything you need. The cleaning ladies give you a fresh batch of stuff everyday, you have a laundry room to your disposal, basic food for sale in the lobby. The location is superb, close to the MRT and the port.

It’s a recurring motive in BKK. Don’t expect English, learn some phrases and use Google Translator. The bed is exceptionally hard (fine for me) and I was missing a seat by the mirror which they advertise (didn’t say anything though, so that’s on me)

It was hard to find. It's in a back of a side alleyway. Bed hard typical Thai bed.

The apartment was simple, but all we needed it for. Perfect and beyond for that price. We explored China town, but had to go through some back alleys to get to apartment. Apartment door is behind building, in skinny alley. Woman at reception super friendly. Guy at reception saw us struggling and lost so he got out of desk and walked us to nearest 7-eleven.

We booked online and were supposed to pay at check in. Once arrived, Sampheng Apartment said we have to pay 8 times the price it said online. This is unacceptable, stay away!

the location of the hotel is good. near but not too close to chinatown busy streets. there are alot of eating places near the hotel. it is not too pricy.

the bed is TOO HARD! i probably only manage to doze off for 2hrs or so. the sound proofing is bad as well. it is not easy to find the main door of the hotel.

We loved the location, can't ask for better in Chinatown. Youre right in the action yet off the main, busy, loud road. Plus we walked to the ferry and the river seemed a whole other world. The large fridge in the room was great.

The mattress seems to be foam of some sorts covered in a vinyl type fabric so its rock hard. The room is small but has loads of furniture in it, so perhaps with the removal of a wardrobe there will be more space. The bathroom door hits the basin so maybe if its a rolladoor that would be easier. We often got the smell of weed &/or cigarette smoke in our room even though the building is non smoking.

Etablissement bien situé à proximité de Chinatown, à 5 grosses minutes de marche d'une station du métro et du canal. Personnel accueillant et serviable, chambre propre et litterie confortable, présence de la climatisation qui est un gros plus. Cependant gros point négatif, l'état de la salle de bain.. nombreuses fuites au niveau de l'évier et de la douche, l'eau s'écoule et stagne jusque devant les toilettes et beaucoup de remontées de mauvaises odeurs...

Great rooms for the price a week for 2850 bath and air condition, nice service and the resorts restaurant have a great selection of food. Close to the beach 20 meter at the most and the streat above have everything you need 7 eleven, pharmacy, motorbike rental and restaurants.
