The location of the property was great.

There were bed bugs in the 6 person dorm room. Do not recommend staying here.

Hostel was close to many historic sites, shops and restaurants. Staff were very good. My stay included a continental breakfast with ham, cheese and boiled eggs which was all very good. Staff were helpful. Stored my luggage until check in and I was able to change my clothes after a long trip.

Very nice hostel with very friendly staff, completely in the hostel spirit. The possibility to leave our luggage there when we were visiting the city was great!

The bedroom was extremely warm. Breakfast was poor with not much left when we came (not at all at the end of breakfast time).

Le staff est très sympathique.

Un rideau à chaque lit améliorerait le confort.

The location was near many of the sights and the river. The staff were very kind and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. There were a lot of amenities for an additional price; I had the breakfast one day and it was good, lots of options; and I used their laundry service and it was great.

The location was downhill of many of the sites, so be prepared for a lot of walking uphill. The street was very loud at night sometimes; loud cars going by and people yelling. I didn’t like that I was charged for a late check-in, because the only reason I arrived later was because my flight was delayed.

Small rooms with private external bathroom, great location in the centre of Porto

Not a lot of privacy in the rooms, plus very loud echoes from the street below when the windows are open.

The location is perfect, really close to main streets and waterfront. The balcony is such a delight, and we sat for a long time on there, visiting the great wine shop opposite, which I super recommend and the man in there is so nice. The bathroom is luxurious and such a good shower. Comfortable bed, not much street noise. All in all a fab stay, would stay again.

Don't need the doors on the kitchen section, makes it feel smaller when they're open. Would look better without. Also, slightly overlooked by a view point across the way, but this is not enough to not have enjoyed our time. In fact we were feeling a bit smug about our balcony haha.

Such a beautiful room and really good location, in the heart of the city with many things to explore. The staff were also warm, and we felt really taken care of.

La localisation de l’hostel est juste incroyable, il y a une grande place juste à coté avec plein de resto, de live music et de good vibes. Le personnel était adorable surtout le monsieur de la réception. Les chambres niquel. Tout était parfait.

Le seul soucis c’est que c’est pas vraiment un hostel tres sociale du au fait qu’il n’y ait pas vraiment de lobby ou de rooftop ou les gens peuvent se rassembler.

La proximité de tous les lieux touristiques, restaurants, magasins etc… tout se fait à pied ! L’accueil est très chaleureux aussi 🤩 merci 🙏

The location. I met the owner and he was very friendly helpful and kind. There was another lady in the reception that also was very nice…I loved it that she remembered my name.

Prachtige locatie en super vriendelijk personeel. Ideale toegang tot het pand, bed lag heerlijk en de kamer was zoals afgebeeld. Al met al echt een heel fijn verblijf gehad en zeker de moeite waard om terug te keren!

De badkamer was behoorlijk klein en het was tot laat druk in de straat, maar dit doet niets af aan de ervaring! Het was echt heel fijn verblijven hier.

Non c’è l’ascensore. Nei bagni manca il sapone corpo, shampoo, balsamo, c’è solo un sapone mani diluito appositamente con l’acqua, una vergogna. Gli asciugamani sono a pagamento (2€ cadauno). Vergognoso

Posizione imbattibile per visitare la città a piedi e comoda per i trasporti. Disponibilità e gentilezza dello staff. Buona colazione con prodotti freschi. Tra l'altro ci è stato rimborsato l'importo di una colazione di cui non potevamo usufruire.

Bagno molto essenziale, ma si tratta comunque di un ostello.

La posizione e ottima.La vista stupenda. Personale giovane, parlano inglese, cordiali. Letti molto comodi, ti svegli bene, senza mal di schiena. Raccomando.

La porta del ingresso fa tantissimo rumore, fa svegliare le persone x dormono, anche la porta in bagno fa rumore un casino, poi se tuo letto e attaccato ti sveglia. Dovrebbero separarli dagli spazi communi.

Het ontbijt is een tikkeltje te eenvoudig. De koffiethermos blijft niet lang warm en koffie is niet lekker. Onvoldoende vers fruit naar keuze. De lekkere bananen zijn meteen op. De rest blijft liggen.

Freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen. Niedliche Zimmereinrichtung. Und es ist Fusslaeufig zur Altstadt bzw mittendrin gelegen!

Es ist spaetabend und nachts auf der Strasse sehr laut. Auch bei geschlossenen Fenster hoert man den Lärm (August/Ferienzeit!). Ich empfehle Ohrstöpsel..

I live my power bank to charge and when come back it was missing. They give it to me later, but even to do not tell the reason why they take it.

Tolle Lage, alles ist fussläufig erreichbar. Das Hostel ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und hat eine schöne und saubere Küche. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt!

Conveniently positioned in Porto, staff were lovely at check in. Only stayed one night but I believe the facilities would definitely suit a longer stay.

We were fine with this, but we were on the third floor so keeping in mind for longer stays this could be tiring!

Cama súper cómoda, y camas de calidad, sin ruido. Me dejaron guardar la bici.

La única pega que veo es que la zona de cocina (y donde guardaba la bici) cerraba a la noche, y lo abrían a las 7:30, por lo que puede condicionar tu plan salida para seguir con el camino. Por lo demás todo bien.

La chambre est petite mais fonctionnelle, WC et SDB privatives, accueil très sympa et de bons conseils. Localisation très centrale, c'est très pratique, un peu bruyant le soir car le quartier est animé !

Seul bémol, j'avais des voisins assez calmes heureusement car on entend assez le passage sur le palier, les gens sont plus ou moins respectueux.

Das Zimmer war schön aber die Fenster und Wände sehr hellhörig. Das Gemeinschaftsbadezimmer auf dem Flur war direkt am Kopfende meines Bettes sodass ich die ganze Nacht der Gäste aus den Schlafsälen an meinen Zimmer hab vorbeilaufen hören.

Idéalement placé dans le centre ancien de Porto. Chambre confortable et personnel adorable.

The view from the room and the beds

I like the location and the simple but nice design of the bunkbeds. Also it was nice to have a view from the balcony.

In the bathroom neither the sink was properly draining the water, nor the vent was working (this created a sauna-like environment just after a small shower). Also there was mold all over the ceiling. Moreover I was not expecting to find only 1 bathroom for 6people. The shower is together with the toilet, therefore if one is using it everybody else has to wait. Crazy to have this situation when you pay 33€ for 1 night.

The location was great.

On arrival the receptionist was not helpful and appeared to have no local knowledge. She told us we did not need to make a reservation for breakfast, that we could just turn up on the day. We went down for breakfast one morning and waited. The receptionist didn't bother to tell us there would be no breakfast served until we went up and asked him when it would be served. Paula was the only helpful, kind receptionist. Being advertised as a hostel, we expected to have access to tea & coffee making facilities at all times, but that was not the case.

Localizaçao estupende, se pode fazer tudo a pé. Quarto limpo, espaçoso e comodo. O banheiro era praticamente particular, nao tive nenhum problema para usar, nem tive que esperar em nenhum momento. Se podem guardar as malas depois do check in se precisar. Ambiente muito tranquilo e silencioso.

O breakfast oferecido poderia ser melhor, os quartos nao tem ar-condicionado entao ficam bastante quente, pouca ou nenhuma interaçao entre hóspedes, é mais um hostel para descanso que para socializar.

Nette Rezeption, Zimmer sauber und geschmackvoll, das dazugehörige Bad modern, geräumig und ebenfalls sauber (mir allerdings nicht ganz klar, ob es auch für das Nachbarzimmer verfügbar war - vielleicht war das andere Zimmer auf dem Flur zu unserer Zeit nicht belegt). Die Lage ist sehr zentral, um aus der traditionellen alten Unterkunft Porto zu erkunden. Küchenmitbenutzung bis 22:30 möglich.

Bad nicht am/im Zimmer, sondern über den Flur, für den Preis ungewöhnlich. Auch hatte das Zimmer kein TV - insgesamt etwas spartanisch (auch nur ein Nachttisch mit Lampe für zwei Einzelbetten). Also eher Hostel-de-Luxe zu aber annähernd Hotelpreisen. Balkon ging auf einen direkt 1,5m entfernte gegenüberliegende Mauer zu.

Gostei da localização, da decoração do hostel e dos funcionários (que são os proprietários do imóvel). Acho que a toalha para o banho deveria estar incluída no preço do quarto, tendo em conta que o valor é só e apenas para dormir.

O facto de não ter ar condicionado, apenas uma ventoinha muito antiga. No verão é impensável ficar alojado. A parte elétrica não estava bem. Quando fui colocar o telemóvel a carregar o contador de eletricidade foi abaixo.

The location was much better than I originally thought. The hostel is only a couple blocks from the river and very close walking to all the other sights. All the staff we met were very nice and helpful.

The room we were in was very loud, no sound proofing at all but that was to be expected. The buildings are old and predate thousands of travelers descending onto this little town with expectations. I put on my white noise YouTube app and was able to fall asleep but Saturday night was definitely popping off inside and out of the hostel so beware weekends are lit. Also, the bathroom light is practically not even a light. Had to use my phone light in there.

Es ist sauber gewesen und mein Bett ist toll gewesen. Der Personal ist freundlich gewesen.

Es gab keinen Raum wo man sich hinsetzen konnte um seinen Rucksack früh morgens zu packen oder auf das Taxi zu warten.

Excelente localización y personal muy amable.

Posizione centralissima e comoda a metro e stazione. Colazione semplice ma ottima, con prodotti freschi, frutta e orari più che ragionevoli. Letto comodo, lenzuola e asciugamano (affitto per 2 euro) puliti e profumati, presa e lampada per ogni letto, camera da 4 letti molto spaziosa, con grande cassettone dove riporre le proprie cose (chiudibile con lucchetto) e vari ganci per appendere giacche e asciugamani. Reception aperta fino alle 23, accesso alla struttura 24 ore con tessera magnetica. Staff molto gentile e disponibile. Deposito bagagli. Ampia disponibilità di camererate solo femminili, nelle quali personalmente dormo meglio.

Non si può usare la cucina negli orari della colazione (fino alle 10.30). Io ho usufruto della colazione in ostello (ottima), ma bisogna tenerne conto in caso contrario. Assenza di aria condizionata in stanza, faceva abbastanza caldo e tenendo le finestre aperte è rumoroso. Metterei almeno un ventilatore a soffitto. Il numero di bagni è insuffiente negli orari di punta, principalmente perchè nello stesso spazio ci sono wc, doccia , lavandino e persino l'asciugacapelli (che non si può spostare, attaccato al muro) per cui se c'è qualcuno in doccia non puoi lavarti i denti finchè non finisce, sperando non voglia asciugarsi i capelli. Posizione perfetta per chi si sposta con i mezzi, la sconsiglierei se si ha la propria auto.

I dislike having to rent a towel, but their towel was so fluffy and clean smelling that it kinda made it worth it. I wish there was a kettle and mirror in the dorm room and curtains for the beds. My dorm mates were very considerate, but that’s not always the case in dorms, and curtains would have given added privacy and safety.

Kitchen opens only at 12pm , So you can't cook your own breakfast, although they provide paid breakfast. No lifts , carry bags or luggage till 3rd floor. Beds very squeaky, although it's expected in hostels but this was shaking and noisy.

Great location convenient to the Cathedral and River front as well as the railway station. Friendly and helpful staff who provided great advice about where to eat. A very comfortable and quiet room.

The only slight disadvantage was that our next door neighbours had to use an external bathroom right outside our door and this was audible during the night when they did so.

The bed and linen were the best I’d slept on during my Camino. Building was fabulous. Great location.

I was on the 3rd floor, it was a hike with all my kit. There was a single shower/bathroom for 8 people. It could sometimes be a long wait.
