Reviewed Jul 21, 2026I liked everything about the facility, I rated staff 2, because lol i never met one, i only grab the key and went to my room i guess the staff there they mind their own business, they dont disturb their guest hense maybe I did not see any one there. So the rating of 2 its not that they were rude or anything.
Truly speaking everything was just as i expected, it's for the 2nd time I sleep there and I really love the place

The door locking system was not great seemed to be on its way out so not quite secure. Excessive noise after late hours by other guests, this should be managed better. A little more maintenance required to the units.

Sleeper couch is worn out cant expect someone to sleep on it. Our bath tub in room 11 didnt work so couldnt bath. Tv remote didnt work (this was sorted out) staff did do their best to help. Thank you

Wi-Fi, from the Friday I checked in till Sunday when I checked out, the WiFi was not working. We were in a room with a smart tv, we couldn’t even watch what we like. Why the smart tv with a slow WiFi?

I made a booking before hand and it was about 9:00 at night, I mentioned on the booking that we would be there between 23:00 and 00:00, we just needed a place to sleep as we could no longer drive and was very tired from driving the whole day.. Pearl phoned me to find out what time we would be there and I confirmed between 23:00 and 00:00. She then said they close at 22:00. I already paid. I said to her then their closing time should be on the site. She was rude and put the phone down. On arrival other guests also arrived and Pearl was very rude. Other guests during the night was loud, no one asked them to be quite. It was 00:30. We did not sleep at all and the purpose was to rest and travel again the next day.

The floor and carpet were dirty My pillows had brown stains There was no shower curtain The toilet did not flush The toilet door did not close The electric plugs next to the window did not work as well as the plugs at the dressing table. We had to ask for bath towels.

I often overnight in Klerksdorp, where there are many highly rated guest houses to choose from. The main reason I seldom book at this property is the clinical, cold reception. It lacks the warmth and hospitality offered by several of the others. Arriving tired and then being asked to quote the booking reference — despite the hotel already having it on record — was frustrating, especially as I did not have the reference readily available, only to then be told: “Yes, that is the correct reference.”

I slept in room 3 and the room needs a new mattress. The bedding had stains, the shower wasn’t properly cleaned. The room needs a blanket as it is becoming cold.
