Most of the breakfasts were very good. Especially the last one I had that was a Saturday.

I am old and short. Your beds were comfortable but too high to get into (for me) without assistance. I finally used a piece of luggage to stand on. There were two hassocks in the room that seemed to have no use. They were too high for my use but if they were lower I could have used them and solved my problem.

I don’t like carpet, I get allergies and it is pricey

I did not eat breakfast at the hotel. I liked the location, the ease of ingress and egress, my very spacious king suite as well as the bathroom. The bed was acceptable in terms of firmness but it could be better.

The mattress in the my king suite was OK but I would have preferred a mattress that provided more support for my back. More firmness. Also, I was surprised at the limited number of TV channels. For example, one of the channels WAS CNBC [financial news] but Fox Business and Bloomberg were not options. At a much less elegant facility in Monterey [The Red Lion Hotel] I had many more options including both of the ones mentioned above.

Great room and facilities. Surprised me. Nice customer service initially (at check in and in the morning when we asked for late check in and how to do laundry, the gentleman at the desk gave us an hour and explained that was the max he could give and walked me to the laundry room after I got lost.

Loud group in the surrounding rooms made a lot of noise. Not the hotel's fault, but did affect our stay. Breakfast didn't have healthy options at all, which would make a big difference, but was fine for the standard chain hotel breakfasts. The manager (not the person who checked us in or who helped with laundry in the morning) was really unprofessional. She eventually apologized, but even then did it in an unprofessional way, blaming the morning manager, calling him incompetent, saying he should never have given us late check in on a Saturday (after first questioning whether it really happened and then still trying to charge me $40 for it until I argued against it). I wouldn't put it here, but she sounded like she would try to get him fired even though she was the only unprofessional experience we had.

Le petit déjeuner est une catastrophe , les américains ont un problème avec le petit déjeuner. C’est aussi un scandale qu’en 2026 le assiette aux petit déjeuner soient jetables. 365 jours par année, dans tous les restaurants de la chaîne les assiettes sont systématiquement jetées ainsi que les couverts en plastique, c’est une honte !

There was a light flashing In the bedroom that made it hard to fall asleep. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.

The personalised welcome on the TV was a lovely surprise, we enjoyed sitting around the fire pits in the evening with a hot chocolate, swimming pool was a lovely temperature. Breakfast was delicious! The boules court was a fun discovery, we enjoyed a couple games before check out.

Clean and well maintained. Any problem we had was attended to quickly.

You had remembered handicap spots that did not EV charging and when we returned from dinner, the spot that we had been using was occupied by a non-handicapped person‘s vehicle and was charging. We spoke to the desk about that and they said that that’s kind of a great area and that they’re allowed to park there while they’re charging. We had no handicap spots to park last night.

Breakfast was pretty good, but we came in to breakfast a little late after a morning of riding on a hot air balloon. There was not too many items to choose from. I wasn’t crazy about the coffee, it was bitter. However the waffles were great. I have to say I loved the sheets on the bed.

Check-in staff was welcoming, and process went smoothly. The room is much nicer and quieter than this hotel's nearby competition. The bed was very comfortable, good access to outlets, nice bathroom with spacious lavatory counter and good lighting. The outdoor seating area and pool were surrounded by a natural hillside.

The breakfast was the only drawback - the selection was OK but the quality was sub par.

The property and rooms are well kept, clean, appealing and comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection, and the staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was well stocked with towels, toiletries, and coffee. The grounds are beautiful on the mountain facing side. The pool area is very nice. There are fire pits that are lit at night, and surrounded by cozy furniture.

Maybe the mattress. A pillow top or down bed.pad would have help. The firmness is ok, but it was nearly like laying on a piece of plywood stiff. Maybe just a bit more cozy/soft for support of the back/hips.

We went up for a long weekend to do some wine tasting,etc. Our room was clean and spacious but although it was a suite the amenities in the room were lacking. There were only two sets of towels, no glasses or any other utensils in the wet bar area except some paper cups for the coffee maker. The room faced the freeway and was noisy so pick a room that is facing away from the freeway (an even numbered room would work). The breakfast was nothing to rave about. The fruit was overripe bananas and apples. I would like to see a healthier choice of fruit and yogurt (not flavored Yoplait, but some plane Greek yogurt would be better. Staff was pleasant and helpful. One thing that was great was that it was a block away from the Firestone restaurant which allowed our dog inside and had very good food and service! Also, had a potty area for the dogs which is appreciated.

I loved the pool and lounge areas,the very friendly and attentive staff. Everything was great my family and I always enjoy our stay here it’s our favorite.Being a local of the Santa Ynez Valley it’s one the nicest property in the valley I think I love how it backs up to the mountains

We loved Tessa & Guillermo who provided excellent service and were friendly and professional. We loved the outside area in the back behind the breakfast room. Very nice - loved the bird bath and enjoyed the hummingbirds playing with the sparrows. Lovely environment.

The breakfast…nothing healthy or organic. I get it, expensive - but many people are looking go improve their health even as they travel.

Multiple couches were badly torn in the dining area. Also, I had a broken suitcase and took it to the front desk when I checked out and asked them to dispose of it. I was told by the young lady at the front desk to take it to the dumpster myself. I did, towing my other suitcase and 2 bags out into the rain. Then was locked out of the building. Since it was at the end of what was otherwise a very nice stay, it tainted my overall impression.

The beds are awful. The pillows seem to be cheap pillows, it was hard to fall asleep. The walls are paper thin, we heard the snoring from the room next door ALL night long. The shower head in room 133 needs to be replaced, it’s disgusting. The rooms are so spacious why not add a couch, 1 chair and 2 small stools are not enough.

It was a very clean. It was a perfect place for having a dog. Snoopy loved it and the room was very roomy and clean.

Really the only thing I didn't like was the breakfast sausage.

Sunday morning there was LOTS of worms in the pool. Wish they’d clean it before guests can swim. Rain drain was next to our room window. Was very loud all night. Other that that it was great. We will stay again.

I ALWAYS ENJOY my stay in Hampton Inn as this is brand us consistently provide great overall guests comfort from room, common areas, parking to complimentary breakfast. I am it a big fan of pancakes but when it comes to waffles and the mini waffles machine really made me happy. Full breakfast buffet with no cut fruits but fresh fruits like bananas, green and red apples. Green and Red Apples seem to be served all day long along with all day coffee and hot water in the lobby sitting area. This is a thumb up indeed all around for those of us who wanted coffee and/or hot water during the stay. Highly recommend this place for an overnight stay in Solvang.

Solvang was close by, wineries were close by, the brewing was close by, some restaurants were close by. The facility was great and I am glad that there was a lot of things close by except for the mall.

There were kids running around the top floor at 4:30 am and it was none stop. They woke us up and my baby. Kids should be at the first floor since they have a lot of energy and some parents don't tell their kids to go to bed.

The breakfast was excellent and the distance from the hotel to Solvang was awesome. Specially some wineries close by to the hotel. I would stay here again because of the location and they allow pets in this place.

What I did not like is that there were some kids running above my room, all night long. They woke us up at 4:30 am from them running around and that was two nights in a row. I think kids should not be on the top floor since they have a lot of energy but instead be at the first floor only.
