Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel

The staff was nice.

It was run down. Only one elevator working from the parking garage. The bed was not comfortable. There were no accessable outlet plugs beside the bed - on either side! I sleep with a CPAP machine, and I couldn't use it because of no electrical outlets close enough to use!!! It was clean, but the whole casino just seemed "shady" and dirty. We'll never stay there again. Oh, and several of the slots wouldn't work, and it took over an hour to get a drink.... We will not be back. Hopefully you can make it better for the future.

Dirty room. Smelled like a wet dirty sock. Smelly torn carpet. Walls and mirrors were filthy. Red substance was on the wall in the entryway. Possibly ketchup or blood. Only one towel and washcloth in the bathroom. Had to ask for more. One port for phone charger did not work.

Lobby Restaurant, Sportsman's Grill was excellent, great people and food. Great value for the $, too.

One trash can in room, had to call for housekeeping to bring towels for 2nd day, no housekeeping in room for entire stay.

The mattress was old because when I got in the bed it felt like I fell in a hole and had to climb out. This did not help at all with me having sciatic nerve damage and coming from my back procedure in Shreveport. I stayed 2 nights this was in June 2026. I stayed before and didn’t have an issue with anything at all.

You could hear traffic outside from our room. Staff could of been more pleasant and not enough people working during checkout. disappointed that the third floor casino was no longer there. only two floors to gamble.

I really liked the classic Slack job old people at all these slot machines pouring in their Social Security hooked up to oxygen tanks , smoking cigs. It's really the ambience you want when you're going to a casino in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Wasn't a fan of the burn marks all over the bathroom tub from cigarettes. The lingering smell of cigarettes and stale pee that engrosses the entire establishment the tiny windows looking out to a dirty, brown river.

We liked that it was right off the highway and easy to check into late at night. We also liked that there were restaurants offered, however everyone was closed. We were advised to go to the neighboring casino, Sam’s Town, and they had a great a little deli shop.

The rooms and hardware were very old, as expected. We had to ask for towels because there were none in the room and the pressure in the shower was not good.

I had great services from the front desk she was very helpful

We filed a complaint on first night. Our room had someone’s garments hanging in closet and room obviously wasn’t cleaned bc bed had bed bugs I literally scratched myself raw on my ankles and lets which were the only exposed parts of my body while I was fresh out shower. I do not like complaining at all but I had to go to front desk at 11 pm and submit my complaint. They were very helpful and moved me to another room which at first we were still Leary bc of what had just happened in old room. But we stripped bed and checked it completely before laying down

Cleanliness. Hotel hallways on 10th and 11th floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months. Place is going down hill due to lack of simple tidiness.

There was 1 lady that worked downstairs in the restaurant that was actually nice

The other 99% of staff were rude. Half the floors had water leak issues, rooms were dirty, keys didn't work. It was one thing after another the entire weekend

We stayed at this casino when in town for a nearby funeral. Paid for a suite in case family stopped by to say hello. We were, as one might guess, in a hurry and had several things to get to during our 2 night stay. We did not have time to be switching rooms and complaining to management about our room. I’ve attached pictures of the suite we received and the condition thereof. The layout was fine. The condition was just not up to par! We will be submitting this review to Amex also as we booked through them. Ballys - Do Better!

Most of the staff were friendly. The food was good in the Sportsman's cafe. The beds were ok. Nice big pillows.

The overall condition of the hotel was extremely poor. The place smelled really bad. The furniture in the rooms was falling apart. The wallpaper was coming off the walls. It looked like monkeys had been climbing the curtains. I heard one of the managers chewing out the crew in the restaurant from a 50 ft. away. I felt that was highly inappropriate.

Everything about this property was excellent.

I liked the layout of the room although the decor was a hodge podge collection of dated hotel furniture. The televisions were not smart TVs or compatible with modern technology. The bed linens were well below my at home thread count, when I travel somewhere I need the basic comfort amenities of home. The bed linens are a small expenditure that would easily support the price point for this suite.

Bed linens, no microwave in a multi-room suite but the room had 3 bathrooms. Makes no sense.

I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for a room. And I kept going up to the desk asking about one. And they kept telling me that none wasn't available 😒 but People's after me kept coming up getting rooms. The lady at the front desk kept saying that she doesn't know when one will be ready. She worked with Mrs. Debra, but I couldn't see her Name tag. That was Friday. Then finally I went to Mrs. Debra, for a room and got one

Only one elevator from the parking garage was working. Extremely long wait times to get from the parking garage to the hotel and casino. People literally just gave up and started taking the stairs down, including elders. The mini fridge in the room didn’t work very well. No microwave whatsoever for the price paid to stay the 2 nights. I was willing to pay for valet parking just to avoid the headache in the hot parking garage and the wait time for the one elevator. I was told there was no valet parking option however, there were plenty of cars parked in valet spots but none offered.

The rooms were large, clean, overall nice. The bed was comfy but the pillows were very thin. We each had two which pretty much equaled one.

As far as the actual hotel, we do not have any real complaints. The service at the casino was not great at all! We sat and played at the bar for over an hours and finally had to get a waitress to get us a drink. The bartender had a few select custom that they were serving, but there were several other patrons that were ignored. Same for the waitresses at the slot machines. We would definitely not visit the casino at the property again.

Blood on sheets and floor. Rooms were very clearly not cleaned. We tried 3 rooms and then decided it wasn’t worth staying so we got a refund and left. This place is nasty not to mention literal holes in the floor of one of the elevators.

Room was not cleaned well before we checked in and front desk did not offer to help other than to tell us we would need to be present in room to get cleaned better and that it could be a few hours before ore cleaning person could come plus only 2 of the 4 elevators worked so it took a while waiting on available elevator

The food was amazing. My husband ordered the country fried steak with mac and cheese. It was the best mac and cheese he has ever had. The country fried steak was excellent too. It was not a frozen patty. Everything was fresh. We will be back!

The restaurant service was very poor, may have been due to under staffing when we went to it around 7pm. Told it would be a 20 minute wait after we were seated before a server would be able to take our order turned out to be more like 30. They server seemed stressed and frustrated in her conversation with manager on duty. Manager ended up taking our order and finally.

We arrived late and had to make a dash for the cafe (the only open restaurant) before it closed. We encountered a rude cashier who clearly didn't want to be there and reluctantly took a to-go order from us. Folks who came later were turned away. It took an hour to get the food and when we opened the containers in our room the food looked terrible. Gratefully the food was pretty tasty after all so all was forgiven but for the money spent, the food was really lacking. The room was sort of clean but wasn't great. As for the rest of the staff we encountered they were fantastic. Good front desk experience and the bell people were amazing.

Breakfast Needed t be hotter. We got therre a little late around 7:30. Asked or a room close to elevator and got one. Room appeared to be ok at first glance. We left and went downstairs. Came back and decided o watch TV. Couldn't find remote. Called desk and no one answered. Called housekeeping no answer. So no tv. Took shower next day. No bath mat. Only 2 towels. Hair dryer didn't work. Uncomfortable bed. Worn out furniture, room had a musty smell. Paid $200.

The shower was very nice. Great water pressure for a tired body. Bed was comfortable. Very nice to have a table and chairs.

Cold water on sink had very little pressure. Café was shut down for probably 30 minutes, so had to leave to ger food.

We loved the location and the decor. Plus the price was very reasonable.

I cannot recommend staying at Bally's based on my experience. While the casino itself was decent, the condition of our hotel room and the lack of customer service afterward were completely unacceptable. After checking into Room 1111, we discovered multiple cockroaches in the bathroom, along with trash, confetti, banners, peeling wallpaper, and debris under the bed. To make matters worse, the television and both room telephones were not working, forcing me to get dressed and report the problem in person to the front desk at approximately 1:30 a.m. We were offered another room, but moving immediately was not practical due to traveling with my 82-year-old father. What has been even more disappointing than the room itself has been Bally's response. Over the following weeks, I contacted multiple employees, supervisors, Risk Management, and Corporate on numerous occasions. I left several voicemails, but my calls were never returned. I received no apology, no explanation, and no resolution despite allowing ample time for an investigation. As a paying guest, I expected a clean, safe room and professional customer service. Instead, I experienced unsanitary conditions, broken amenities, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. I sincerely hope Bally's addresses these issues so future guests do not have a similar experience.

Got my butt kicked in the casino

My first room had black mold in it. So they moved up then my next room the carpet was wet. Not to mention the musty smell in the rooms. Dust accumulated on top of the bed. Bed side dressers that don't stay shut. The casino is great but I wouldn't recommend stay in the hotel itself.

The front desk lady wasn't very friendly did not tell us anything about anything just handed us the key and sent us on our way!! The front desk person whee we came last weekend was super friendly and very informative.

The sports bar in the casino touts a full bar etc. I ordered a modelo, they said they didn't have any, so I decided on a dos xx, they didn't have that either. Ended up a margarita which wasn't a margarita at all. Hubby ordered a Long Island Tea... also not a long Island tea. Maybe some education on bartending. Otherwise, food was good, and wait service was on point.

Needed more towels, Bathroom was not set up well for elderly. Floors were slippery as was shower and tub. Need mats or grab bars or even non slip bathroom rugs. Need to provide more instructions for using the elevators,.

The room itself was very dirty and outdated. Around the shower drain was black and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Hair all around inside and outside of shower that looked like it had been there awhile.

The property is starting to look a little run down. There were cracks and pealing in the bathroom. A little mold around the shower. The breakfast was really bad which is unfortunate. It has been very good in the past.

Our room (410) had no AC or it was turned up really high. We never hear compresor or fan kick on and there was no ac thermostat in room. Luckily we brought a fan with us. Also was disappointed there was no mini fridge in room. It looks like there may have use to been but no longer. One cabinet drawer I opened that looked like it may have a mini fridge was empty and very messy..like it should have been cleaned up or it had recently been worked on. Not sure.

They said they were overbooked & I didn't have room upon arrival
