KUN Tour Hotel Feng Chai

Location is good

The property is good overall; only downside during our stay was that the room has a bit of smell

Location and price

Very good and comfortable

So far so good

Close to night market.

Overall was a good experience besides the room is abit small, its relatively near to feng chai night market which is very convenient to get food at night.

First class service and property.

Very convenient area around the hotel. Staff are friendly and the hotel rooms are excellent

The staff was really welcoming and helpful when i asked for directions to the night market. Rooms are of average size, clean and comfortable.

Staffs are very nice and helpful. The room is clean and tidy. I will choose it again next time.

Clean and spacious room

The room was great and staff were friendly and approachable!

Within walking distance to the Fengjia Night market and full of eateries around the hotel. Spacious and modern room, very quiet and staff is very helpful with booking of taxi, letting us use their masking tape and weighing machine and letting us know what local bus to take to our chosen destination. Even called us long distance to check if I still wanted a old handbag left in the rubbish bin. Very good service !

Nice hotel and near the Night Market.

Good location near busy market but there are also plenty of fine hotels nearby. Overpriced compare he sevices provided, room amenities, breaakfast

A very comfortable and great hotel to stay.

The room was surprisingly small, but had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. I thought the room was fine for one person, but even for a couple we were bumping into each other

Good location, relatively new building, nice tatami room design

The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. My family and I enjoyed a very good sleep there! The breakfast is good too. The staff are helpful.

Nice hotel located conveniently near Fengjia night market - only cons are the less than stellar service staff manning the hotel counter.

Took about 10mins walking to the night market area. Hotel is good. The breakfast is ok. Facilities are all new.

Located near night markets and many shopping and dining options.

Walking distance to night market and famous restaurants.

The location is good, it is quiet but near to the famous Feng Jia night market, just around 10 mins walking. The hotel is quite new, it is clean and comfort, good toiletries and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is good too, a lot of choices for you. Overall I think it is worth the price and recommended.

Brrakfast can be improved. Good bedding and location.

It clean and near to Fengjia Night Market. Staff are helpful and the breakfast is good.

Overall hotel is good for a short stay with which very convenient to the famous night market in Taichung. Hotel room is bit small and facilities is ok. However, breakfast quality is acceptable and don't expect too much.

hotel is ok, nothing good nor bad, only highlight is the hotel is very close to Fung Chia night market which we like the most.

clean room in a convenient location. near the night market. my only complain is the room is kind of small

Everything was okay untill we found dirty towel in the bathroom

Good location, near night market. Friendly staff. Breakfast food variety limited.

Location was good - tucked away in a quiet lane but just a 1-2 minute stroll to the family mart and start of fengjia shopping area. 4 minute walk to Ruyi Sunny Cake bakery, reigning champion of Taiwan sunny cake nation-wide competition. Hotel exterior, lobby and corridors look great, modern and luxurious. Rooms however are a little dated but still clean and comfortable. The only shower facility was the Sunken tub in the toilet that is not well designed, my husband and I scraped our feet several times getting in and out of shower. Laundry facilities are self service and coin operated, located in B1, affordable easy to use and does the job well. Laundry detergent is included right next to washing machines. Service wise, compared to our service apartment in Taipei, the staff at KUN were less forthcoming in extending warm and friendly service, not so smiley and did not make eye contact. But i guess they could've felt less appreciated and less motivated by the many noisy tour groups staying 1-2 nights. Breakfast staff started sweeping and mopping the window seating area at 9.30am when breakfast was only supposed to end at 10am. Guests were prompted to leave by 10.15am For such a well located and good value hotel, I guess the most significant improvement that could be made is in guest services, especially towards independent travellers who are more likely to be repeat customers than tour group guests.

Abt 8 min walk to Fengjia Night Market. Room is alright but a little small. Hard to move around after luggages are open. However, for the price we paid, it is value for money.

hotel staffs are really friendly and helpful. breakfast is good too. spa pool is excellent.

Friendly boss. Nice view and fantastic scenery. Night time a lot of stars. Boss son even give us a free lesson on star explanation. Convenience of getting food and farm visit. Overall experience is very good.

It is an excellent hotel. Hotel environment neat and tidy, breakfast food fresh and special. Particularly impressed by the hotel receptionists for being very helpful and caring. Located near the night market, very convenient for dining out and shopping.

Very clean hotel, friendly staffs. Will come back again

Hotel is new and overall clean. When we checked in the bedsheet is not so clean hence we requested to change and the staff changed immediately. The TV in our room is faulty though. But overall experience is fairly good.

The triple room with 2 double beds was very spacious. Very modern room with great rooftop amenities. It was a close walk to FenJia Night Market.

Nice and clean hotel. Love the stay there. Walking distance to night market.

Great hotel environment, room was quite and clean. friendly staff and very helpful. fantastic hospitality experience!

Very close to the night market, easy access. personnel was very friendly and helpful. the breakfast menu needs to be more diversified.

The check in time is too long Room condition is good Staff service is good

Nice hotel close to night market, clean and tidy! Staff are very nice!

Overall service is well , room is big enjoy for family

Spent 3 nights here and had a very good rest. Hotel is in a quiet area so it was peaceful. We had booked the Standard Double Room and got upgrade to the triple room which means 1 extra single bed and abit more room. Room was cozy and beds were very comfortable. Tv was clear and had many channels like HBO. Best thing is the toilet bowl! with the clean features and heated toilet seat! The shower drainage was quite bad though. It doesn't able to seem to clear the water fast enough and your feet were like going deep sea diving whenever we took a shower. We chose the package with the breakfast and it was a good spread. It was buffet style with many to choose from like baos, porridge, breads, cereal and heated chinese food. Location wise you can find food places easily in walking distance and a bus stop was around 4mins walk away. We enjoyed our stay here but if it had a table to dine in in the room would make it even better.

Clean, comfortable boutique hotel within walking distance to the Feng Jia night market. Was a little hard to find since my gps wasn't working and the hotel clerk wasn't too adept at giving directions. Nobody smiled at reception (hopefully something easily fixed). A mostly Chinese breakfast was very good. Convenient parking garage next to property. Lounge on the roof was small but cozy with nice city view. There's a pool, but we didn't try it.

nice view and kindly staff with Natasha

A very nice hotel, great location a short walk to Fengjia night market, hotel's breakfast is great. I liked the spa pool at level 8, would recommend to any one to this great hotel.

Amazing Stay at Kun Hotel Taichung, upon my arrival at the hotel. The hotel front office inform me that their check in time 1500hrs, finally i can check in to my room around 1430hrs. And I was inform by them my room get a free UPGRADE to Triple Room. However, we are very happy and the room is very big, clean & tidy. We feel very confortable and for sure will stay here again, the only cons is the walking distance to Fengjia night market is still a distance around 10minutes. It is consider very far for me.

Everything was perfect, I would suggest opening the gym 24 hours though

It is a relative new hotel located in a quiet area but within walking distance to Feng Jia night market and shopping. It is important for me not to get noises at my doorstep. There are 2 supermarkets closed to the hotel and many eateries. Our triple room is spacious and cleaned. Service is good, staffs are very helpful. Breakfast was nice with variety, even has couple of vegetarian items, and good coffee.

Hotel staff are helpful in providing us relevant information about Taichung.

would highly recommend between their location and night market

Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the size of the room. The bed was comfortable and service at the reception was very good. The hotel is in a very convenient location. However the breakfast was not good & there is no option for those who prefer Western foo.

Kun hotel is near Fengxia night market. It is the best night market in Taiwan. Staff are generally ok, it would be nicer if they can be a little more proactive by greeting the customers. Cab fare is around 220 twd from hotel to hsr station.

Highly recommend. The room is clean And near to feng Jia market

They made a mistake in my booking but they were nice to give us upgrade. Overall stay is gd. Rooms are clean and it is walking distance to Fengjia night mkt. The twin room is kinda small for 2 especially with luggages. The room for 3 will be more comfortable.

Location is great! Very near to Fengjia night market.

Good location, close to night market. Modernize hotel, room is a bit small.

6 of us stayed here for 2 nights. Location is great as it's nearby the night market, staffs are very polite and helpful. Yet there are two things they can work on: cleanliness of the room ( I found hair on the floor once I checked into my room) and also the setting of the gym facility.

New hotel, good room, not big but very comfortable and clean. Brackfast is very good and walking distance to night market

- Hotel staffs are ready to give service to customers since we walk through the hotel door. Most of them can speak English. - Room is very new. The bed is so comfortable. Bathroom is great condition. - Breakfast is excellent. There are varieties of foods and beverages.

New, great location and lots to eat. Breakfast is a plus.

Helpful and friendly staff, spacious room, great location (near Fengjia night market). Value for money! It would be perfect if breakfast is improved.

We stayed at the new wing Kun Tour. Exterior of hotel looked modern, the rooms while basic r functionable, clean n new. Check in & out was fast. Free drinks in fridge were jus 2 cans of unknown brands, nothing to shout abt. Breakfast was simple spread, variety & quality were not great. Walkable to Fengjia night market, lots of street stalls wif clean food, safe fr hygiene-conscious citydwellers.

Nice and clean. Nearby night market . Quick check in and out

good location, clean and cozy. Suggest cleaning up table by staff instead of self help service

Walking distance to Fengjia. Just an overnight stay and did not explore facility but room is good except breakfast is very limited.

Room was clean and new. Breakfast was good spread

Staffs are very good, especially Jerry and Vanessa. They are so nice and provide very good service. Location of hotel is good, near the night market.

Thank you Kun Hotel for the great service and room! Check-in was efficient and queries were attended to right away. The location is great too, near shops and the famous Fengjia Night Market. Lots of things to eat, buy and play! Room was clean and we love the heated toilet seat!

A short distance to night market, we hv a 3 occupancy that comes with a balcony. It’s clean & comfortable but the only setback was that it doesn’t vien with a bathtub which is essential during Autumn & winter.
