Essere circondati dalla natura con le sue scimmiette, la spiaggia privata, la piscina e la particolarità di dormire dentro una botte sono le caratteristiche che mi hanno fatto amare questa struttura. Staff e cibo ottimi.

Capisco che lo spazio non possa essere capiente in un contesto del genere, ma basterebbe qualche chiodo in più per permettere di appendere dei vestiti, due grucce non sono per niente sufficienti. Inoltre, la struttura è tanto fuori Kuching, va tenuto conto del traffico pesante per raggiungere la città e poter fare le svariate escursioni che propone il Borneo.

Alojamiento muy original. Camas muy cómodas, el personal muy amable y la ubicación perfecta para desconectar. Las 2 piscinas en medio de la selva desde donde se pueden ver los monos saltando entre ramas, es espectacular.

El tamaño de la habitación es demasiado reducido. Casi no hay espacio para poder dejar el equipaje. La playa no es apta para el baño.

Restauration à revoir tant au niveau du service que de la diversité des produits pour manger (déjeuner ou diner) Accueil qui devrait mieux renseigner sur les activités extérieures, et moyens de locomotion depuis l'hôtel

Muy relajante, está entre montaña y playa. Vistas espectaculares. El personal es muy atento y servicial. En concreto, especial mención a James. Repetiremos.

Grande attenzione da parte dello staff per cercare di soddisfare i clienti. Il panorama è meraviglioso. Ottima colazione, 2 fantastiche piscine, altalena gigante, spazio per fare ginnastica e per godersi in relax il paesaggio e con un po' di fortuna anche le scimmie. Lavatrice e asciugatrice a disposizione. Merita veramente.

Fantastic location, and lovely swimming pool surrounded by nature. Pod was comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the guinea pigs!

Couldn’t really use the swimming pool by the bar/restaurant as music was constantly blasting. Not very tranquil.

Very original property and well laid out.we were also able to wash our clothes for free.

Wij hebben meerdere dagen in The Culvert verbleven en kijken terug op een fantastisch verblijf. De rustige ligging, onze Beachfront Suite en vooral het personeel hebben ervoor gezorgd dat we ons hier erg prettig hebben gevoeld. Oorspronkelijk hadden we de standaardkamer in een van de bekende ronde Culvert-buizen geboekt. Deze kamer is ongeveer 14 m². Nog voordat we vanuit Nederland vertrokken, besloten we onze boeking te upgraden naar de Beachfront Suite, de grootste en meest luxe kamer van The Culvert. Achteraf waren we daar erg blij mee. Wij verbleven meerdere dagen en hadden behoorlijk wat bagage bij ons, waardoor de extra ruimte erg prettig was. Voor een kort verblijf kan de standaardkamer prima zijn, maar bij een langer verblijf zouden wij persoonlijk voor een grotere kamer kiezen. De suite heeft een tweepersoonsbed, airco, een mooi bad, wastafel, badslippers en grote handdoeken. Bij aankomst lagen er wat lekkernijen klaar en waren de handdoeken mooi opgemaakt. Voor de kamer heb je een eigen zitje en wanneer je de gordijnen opent kijk je richting het strand. Via de trap loop je zo naar beneden naar zee. The Culvert ligt in een mooie, groene en rustige omgeving bij Santubong, buiten de drukte van Kuching. Voor ons was het daardoor een fijne uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te ontdekken. Nog voordat we vanuit Nederland vertrokken, hadden we contact met The Culvert om te vragen wat er allemaal in de omgeving te doen was. We kregen brochures en informatie over verschillende excursies. Die konden we vervolgens rechtstreeks bij de organiserende bureaus boeken en betalen. Bij de excursies die wij hadden geboekt, was het vervoer vanaf The Culvert naar de locatie en weer terug inbegrepen en soms ook de lunch. Voor ons werkte dat ideaal. Het personeel is fantastisch. Iedereen was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Met name James willen we noemen, omdat we veel contact met hem hebben gehad en hij ons steeds erg goed heeft geholpen.

We loved the room—even though it was not super spacious, it was comfy and cozy enough for the two of us. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was delicious; although they ran out of eggs on our second morning, there were still plenty of options to choose from

There were a lot of mosquitoes in the dining area at night; while dinner was delicious, we ended up with quite a few bites. Additionally, some facilities like the prayer room and gym were unusable, and the property has many stairs due to its layout, which may pose challenges for guests with mobility issues.

La struttura è unica, con una bellissima piscina vista mare e una vicino al ristorante. Le camere moderne con tutto l’essenziale. Lo staff gentilissimo.

Data la loro struttura a capsule, le stanze non sono comodissime: per andare in bagno degni salire sul letto per poterlo raggiungere. Quando rientri sporco o bagnato dalla piscina potrebbe essere sgradevole. Nel complesso però assolutamente consigliato per l’esperienza di una notte.

Un lieu absolument extraordinaire, coupé du monde et au calme, sans aucun bruit. La piscine est magnifique et la plage, directement accessible depuis l’hôtel, est tout simplement sublime. On a vraiment cette sensation incroyable d’être seuls au monde, dans un petit coin de paradis. Malgré les quelques points négatifs, l’originalité du lieu et des logements rend l’expérience vraiment unique en son genre. L’hébergement a beaucoup de charme et offre une expérience que l’on ne retrouve pas dans un hôtel classique. Autre point très appréciable : tout est extrêmement propre et très bien entretenu, aussi bien les logements que les espaces communs. Le cadre naturel est également exceptionnel. Nous avons même eu la chance d’apercevoir des singes dans les arbres de l’hôtel ! Un moment assez magique qui renforce encore davantage cette impression d’être complètement immergés dans la nature. Enfin, le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant, extrêmement gentil et très serviable. Malgré certains aspects qui pourraient être améliorés, le cadre, la tranquillité et l’originalité de l’endroit en font une expérience vraiment à part.

Les chambres manquent d’espace, même si cela fait partie du concept et de la conception de l’hôtel. Cela pourrait toutefois être amélioré, par exemple en ajoutant quelques étagères ou davantage de rangements. La disposition des toilettes et de la douche n’est vraiment pas pratique : il faut notamment passer par-dessus le lit. Lorsque l’on revient de la plage avec du sable, par exemple, ce n’est vraiment pas idéal… Le petit-déjeuner n’est pas de très grande qualité et mériterait d’être revu. Même constat pour la cuisine du restaurant, que nous avons trouvée assez décevante. Sans voiture, on est pratiquement obligé de manger sur place, ce qui est dommage. Sans compter que certaines choses sont assez chères par rapport aux prix pratiqués dans le pays. Si vous souhaitez être autonome pendant votre séjour, je vous conseille vivement de louer une voiture. Pour les déplacements en Grab, il faut parfois réserver un jour à l’avance, ce qui limite fortement la spontanéité.

L’endroit est isolé et paisible dans une verdure flamboyante. Nous avons la chance de voir des petits singes sauvages dans la journée passer d’arbres en arbres. Le personnel est à l’écoute et très bien voyant en vers nous.

Les moustiques sont bien présents prévoir de l’anti moustique en quantité . Y faut louer un véhicule car loin de la ville .

Wc papier was op. Ze zeiden dat ze kwamen poetsen en kwamen niet. We vonden het wel niet nodigaat de zeep was op. Die zijn ze wel komen aanvullen.

L environnement est top avec une plage en contrebas et 2 piscines. Pdj bon et varié. Personnel sympa Pas de soucis pour trouver des grab ici.

Par contre je n ai pas du tout été fan du tube qui sert de chambre ! Ça fait des belles photos mais l intérieur est mal conçu, on est plus qu à l étroit, pas à l aise et au final hormis pour dormir on y reste pas. Qui plus est bien trop proches les uns des autres....

The location, facilities, gorgeous tiny rooms and Silver-leaf Monkeys swinging through the trees were amazing - loved the sauna and pool and Ealing along the beach. It was a novelty to stay in a concrete drain pipe and a lot of fun (luckily we didn’t bring much luggage as there was very little room for anything except ourselves!)

The only thing I’d say could’ve been a bit better was the restaurant food. It was fine but not amazing.

The rooms were uniquely amazing. Ivan was wonderful in responding to our needs. Adel and all the staff, including restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the surrounding nature and wildlife.

We were two friends traveling, and found the rooms too small for our needs. We ended up booking a second room. It's difficult to get there without a car.

Die Zimmer sind sehr außergewöhnlich, was uns extrem gut gefallen hat. Die Aussicht zum Meer hin hätte nicht besser sein können. Man hat ein richtiges Natur-Erlebnis hier, Zugang zum Strand, zwei Pools und ein Café mit sehr gutem Essen.

Logement atypique.et très propre L’environnement tout autour bien aménagé Belle piscine et belle plage dans un environnement luxuriant. Endroit calme et paisible pour se reposer Personnel très avenant et professionnel... Des petits détails sympa : kit hygiène, panier, parapluie... Le village typique à visiter juste à côté 🤩

Piscine en maintenance donc pas accessible😕 Logement vraiment petit : il fallait passer sur le lit pour aller à la salle de bain....Il manque un mètre pour avoir un passage au bout du lit... Logement assez éloigné de Kuching Nous avons quitté une journée et une nuit plus tôt car il pleuvait et donc rien à faire sur place....

Las instalaciones en general, la playa al lado, las piscinas. Lo divertidol de tener una habitación tubular de hormigón. Su puede subir al monte de al lado desde casi la entrada. El desayunonmuy completo. Y muy amable el personal

A veces la habitación tubular se hace un poco escasa en espacio ya que para ir del exterior al baño hay que saltar la cama. Pero no deja de ser una experiencia divertida

Le lieu est magnifique ! On y croise des singes et des écureuils ! La vue est splendide. Le personnel est très souriant et à l’écoute. Adèle et Cat ont été vraiment adorables pour nous permettre de passer un bon séjour. Je les remercie particulièrement ! Je recommande cet établissement

Resort tres calme dans un tres joli environement. Le personnel est tres gentil et serviable. La cuisine de la cuisiniere est excellente.

Je suggererais d`ajouter quelques crochets dans les chambre pour permettre de ranger plus facilement les vetements. De meme l`ajout d`un plat journalier diversifirait la carte.

Beautiful facilities and location, very friendly staff. The place is very peaceful, and the rooms are clean and super comfy. Very close to the Cultural Village, you can take a taxi for a 5 min drive or walk for about 25 min.

Although breakfast was good, they could put some work in the lunch/dinner menu. The quality could be improved.

We love the location where we have access to the beach and a nice outdoor place to work. It is within walking distance to the cultural village and the entrance to Santubong Mt.

The dinner menu is slightly limited if you stay a long time. There are not a lot of places within walking distance for dinner options.

Many steps for elderly to pool sauna and gym. Easy to be badly burnt an insulated cover that can cover hot stones when entering exiting will prevent serious burns far from medical assistance. A sign suggesting cold plunge in pool after sauna will increase healthful effect.. A picture of on off switch in reception be helpful operating sauna.

Wunderschöne Anlage, sauberer Pool, Frühstück. Waschmaschine und Trockner darf man gratis verwenden. Wenn man von den Zimmern nicht zu viel erwartet, wird man es hier lieben.

Das Bett roch muffig (Feuchtigkeit). Es fehlt Platz, um Handtücher und Badesachen aufzuhängen.

Such a fun concept and a unique stay! Yes the rooms are small, but there's a surprising amount of storage space! The facilities in the room are great, including lovely toiletries. The pools are in such a beautiful setting and the staff are super accommodating and helpful. We really loved our relaxing stay here :)

It was perfect for us as we wanted to just chill but it's important to note that it is far out of kicking and there isn't much around.

Las vistas y la tranquilidad, calidad precio aceptable

Practicamente todo el personal bien, menos ciertos trabajadores bastante desagradables. Pagamos todas las comidas al momento siempre y para nuestra sorpresa el ultimo dia nos cargan a la habitacion una cena que habiamos pagado con anterioridad , por no discutir decidimos abonarlo. Hay veces que puedes pagar con efectivo y otras no… nos da que sospechar (juzguen ustedes mismos) La comida de la carta para el precio que tienen los platos calidad regular mala, excepto el desayuno bastante bien y completo. La piscina en teoria es hasta las 21:00 de la noche y los dos dias que estuvimos a las 19:00 nos echaron para echar unos liquidos y tratamientos…

Tolle Lage und sehr witzige Unterkunft. Wir hatten Gott sei Dank ein grösseres Zimmer mit extra Bad gemietet, weil es sonst sehr eng gewesen wäre. Es gibt schöne Pools und tolle Chillmöbel. Das Abendessen a la Carte war etwas einseitig aber sehr lecker! Das Personal in der Küche und am Empfang waren sehr freundlich. Schöne Anlage!

Es fehlen Aufhängemöglichkeiten im Zimmer. Das Frühstück für Europäer war sehr wenig Auswahl und langweilig. Es könnte Joghurt, Pancake etc. angeboten werden. Der Kaffee aus dem Automaten ging gar nicht. Es gab kein Saft, nur süßen Tee ebenfalls aus dem Automaten. Total ungesund. Abends könnte die Musik im Restaurant abgedreht werden. In der Küche läuft eine andere Musik, wie im Restaurant, dazu noch der Film der abends gezeigt wird. Drei Sachen gleichzeitig … Personal mehr serviceorientiert Schulen. Wir sind über 60, unser Zimmer war ziemlich weit hinten und wir mussten unsere Koffer weit tragen. Die jungen Männer vom Personal stehen daneben, lächeln freundlich aber fragen nicht, ob sie helfen können. Viele Moskitos im Restaurant!
