Perfecte locatie in het centrum van de stad en op loopafstand van veel restaurants en de boulevard. Ook een goede uitvalsbasis voor diverse dagtrips. De stijl van het hotel is heel sfeervol en het personeel is zeer behulpzaam. Kamer was schoon.

Het ontbijt was wat beperkt. Je kon 1 gerecht a la card bestellen. Daarnaast kon je wel toast roosteren met jam en 2 soorten fruit. Voor 3 ochtenden ok maar dan wil je wel wat anders. In de kamer rook het een beetje muf naar vocht.

Die Lage war top! Die Größe der Exekutive Suite super, Bett, Kissen und Bad schön! Tolles Frühstück mit sehr gutem Bananen-Porridge und Omlette. Kleiner Pluspunkt, das vegane Restaurant im Hotel, wenn man keine Lust hat, rauszugehen, man kann es sich aufs Zimmer liefern lassen.

Zimmerservice kam immer erst nachmittags. Ein wirklich kleiner Abzug…ansonsten war es sehr sauber.

The location it is close to everything the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Olivia(not the correct spelling) was very accomadating!!

We left within hours of booking in as the room was so awful so we cannot say.

The receptionist greeted us saying that as we had only booked the day before she only had one room left. When we made clear that we had booked and paid for a room with a river or city view weeks ago she quickly changed her story saying that they didn’t have another room because they were full as a result of a local festival. We were then shown our room which had only an internal window. It was clear she understood this was not what we had booked. She said if we were not happy with the room they would move us to a room with an external view/ window on our second( and last night). The room we were given had no external window and smelt damp and unhealthy. There was an internal wall that abutted our room and water was pouring down through the roof onto the wall. It was clear that the hotel had sold our room to someone else . We were told that we couldn’t have two key cards for our room as they didn’t have any spares. During check in I told reception that we had been receiving multiple scam messages about this booking which suggested the senders had details of our booking dates and details. She shrugged and said it’s just a scam. As someone who is a Genius booker and has made lots of bookings I find it strange that this is the only hotel where my dates and data were known. The scam messages were reported to Booking.com and they said they would refer it to their fraud team. That was weeks ago and we are still waiting to hear. The damp smell of the room was so bad we ended up booking another hotel. We asked for a refund as there had clearly been a breach of contract but the hotel and Booking.com were unwilling to help. As a frequent traveller who does not make complaints I have been very disappointed with this whole booking experience.

Extremely nice small hotel, with very friendly and kind staff and a lovely atmosphere. Very spacious, comfortable and clean room. It is positioned in the very centre of the city, withing walkable distance of most of the city's attractions. The hotel also helps to book trips to different locations, and went out of their way to help me book a trip very last minute.

Wall paint needs to be freshened up in some parts of the hotel.

Location was very central and perfect for strolling round the waterfront. Lots of souvenir shops and shopping mall nearby. Very close to the river cruise. Loads of restaurants around the hotel if you are not into vegetarian food. The area was very safe. The hotel was very quaint and decorated with lovely local antiques and very seemed very quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Breakfast was very disappointing. We only realised it was a purely vegetarian restaurant when we got there as it was not advertised as a vegetarian restaurant on the website. The breakfast had very little choice and food and drink was not topped up enough. The drinks always seemed to be the remnants of whatever is left and very diluted. The rolls were very dry. There was only 2 fruits ie. watermelon and pineapple. On one day there was only watermelon. When requested for pineapple, was told the pineapple was not ripe yet. There was the option to order hot food. Even the omelette was so bland. The curry for the rota canai was so bland. On one day we ordered mee goreng and requested to add some sliced chillis as all the food we had eaten so far had been so bland. The waiter came back saying that the chef can only add chilli paste, so we opted for that, but the even that did not improve the blandness of the mee goreng. The Sarawak laksa would have been good if there was some prawns, meat, fish cake, fish ball or green vegetables. But it was full of slimy mushrooms and tasteless tofu. On day one when we arrived at night we were hoping to watch the news either on BBC, CNN or CNA to find out what’s going on round the world. There was no signal. The next day we reported to the reception and they sent a maintenance man up who tried to fix the tv and both he and the housekeeper told us that the tv is fine but there is no signal due to the bad weather conditions for the whole of the hotel. The housekeeper said we should complain because the hotel is not making any attempt to fix the issue. When we went to the reception, we were told that they cannot fix it because of the public holidays. We were asked to netflix and we do not have Netflix. So throughout our stay we did not have tv. Very disappointing evenings with nothing to watch.

Złe śniadania. W opisie pokoju widok na miasto, widok na dziedziniec wewnętrzny, ale dostajesz jedno okno. Miałam pecha i okno na wnętrze budy ku. Prośba o zmianę pokoju została zignorowana mimo, że pokój w tym samym standardzie był wolny, zwolniony przez moich przyjaciół z tej samej rezerwacji.

The room was a good size and had all amenities available to make the stay comfortable, and the room was clean. The shower had excellent water pressure! The location is on the waterfront and close to Chinatown, a good mall and a short walk along the front to the cat statue and the restaurants in that area.

Our room faced the waterfront, therefore there was a bit of street noise (most noticeably the deliberately loud motorbikes and music from street vendors), but this mainly quietened down at night. The breakfast (which is vegetarian) is a bit meagre, and the western choices a bit weird on the palate (I would not choose garlic bread and sweet coleslaw with my eggs for breakfast).

Lovely hotel and we had rooms facing the river. It wasn't very loud when the windows were closed and not too much traffic anyway. Breakfast was good and there was choice.

Fabulous art works and decor, right in the middle of town an easy access to attractions and shopping. Awesome staff who made it all special, Joseph at Brekky looked after me, Ramona for tours and helpful suggestions and Raynald at the front desk when arrangements needed expert help. Breakfast was simple and fine. Ranee is very central and in easy distance from most tourist attractions in town (eg museums). Staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable - air con works!

Water in the third floor suite was a bit sporadic. Not a problem on lower floors. Didn't not eat in for lunch or dinner because quite pricey.

The hotel hygiene and facilités is required for improvement or upgrade such as towel and bed are quite old not in good condition. Room lighting very dull feels a lot of bugs and mosquitoes around it. Roadside car noise can be heard during sleeping time. Didn’t get any good sleep at all.

Das Frühstück war "nur" ok. Sonntags ist das Toastbrot und die Brötchen trocken und hart. Es hat uns 2x getroffen. Hier hat das Hotel noch Luft nach oben.

Great location and beautiful spacious room. (I think 106?) Very quiet with a beautiful reading room also available. The hotel had a really lovely vibe about it and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay at the Ranee.

Unique hotel filled with antiques which are tastefully displayed. Staff are wonderful especially at Reception. Location is brilliant on the waterfront, landmarks and near restaurants. If you're vegan, they have food on their menu.

Der Aufzug ist nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen, nicht behindertengerecht. Wenn auf der Uferpromenade eine Musikveranstaltung stattfindet hört man im Zimmer alles.

早餐很不错，现做新鲜的。对我们提出的要求也是尽量在满足。酒店地理位置很好，周边都是景点，只需要步行就能到达。

Wunderschönes Boutique Hotel, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, unschlagbar gute Lage. Leider ist das Frühstück entsetzlich schlecht. Der Kaffee ist nur an der Farbe zu erkennen, der nach Chlor schmeckende Saft ist mit Leitungswasser angemischt, die Auswahl an Brot ist kläglich, es gibt keinen genießbaren Aufstrich. Die Auswahl angebotener Tagesgerichte ist ölig, geschmacklos.

Really lovely boutique hotel with an amazing central location right next to the river in the middle of historic Kuching. Clean comfortable spacious rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Interesting designs of furniture. I would certainly stay here again.

My first day at your hotel was very pleasant, and the staff were very friendly, but today I feel really uncomfortable and frustrated. Another unpleasant incident: I came for breakfast at 10:20 AM, and the staff told me it was already served. Breakfast was only served at my request, but the staff deliberately made a loud noise by slamming the dishes to express their anger, which made me feel very uncomfortable!

Lovely boutique hotel with perfect location, next to the waterfront and close to the pedestrian bridge, the market street and others. The staff was very nice. Highly recommended!

It’s in an excellent position overlooking the river and state building opposite. The staff are really friendly and helpful and a plant based restaurant serves excellent vegan food there. It’s comfortable and clean.

The breakfasts were a bit dull though perfectly adequate. The “juice” provided was squash despite there being a juice bar next door and linked to the hotel. And it was a little noisy during the cat festival though that’s not the hotels fault!!

The location is very good right opposite to waterfront promenade. It is good that a small cafe operates next to the hotel and it provides services to the hotel.

1)The small lift is old and making noises. It might need to get upgraded. 2) Hotel should have a proper coffee machine instead of serving coffee in a glass jar.

Very impressed with the decorations of the hotel. The front desk staff was very accommodating, friendly, polite and professional in handling my interest. The private parking provided gave me the peaceful minds during my stay. The location, of course, is very strategic. Just walking distance to nearby eating and shopping places. So, convenient to stay.

Staff not very friendly. We needed to climb 10 steps to reach elevator and 3 stairs with luggages to get to the Executive Suite, no help from the staff. View in the room is blocked by a concrete piece of the roof. Bathroom shutters were quite dusty and worn. Air conditioning remote control not readable (blurred display). Breakfast disappointing.

Wir haben die Unterkunft als Basis für unsere Erkundung von Sarawak genutzt. Für unsere Touren nach Bako und Mulu Nationalpark konnten wir jeweils unser großes Gepäck da lassen. Die Unterkunft ist modern und stilvoll, liegt gut gelegen an der Waterfront in Chinatown mit vielen Cafés und Restaurants in der Nähe. Man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Frühstuck war gut, das Personal sehr freundlich.

Das Zimmer zur Straße hin war uns zu laut, wir haben die innenliegenden Zimmer bevorzugt, diese waren wunderbar ruhig.

A really comfortable and cute place to stay, close to the river, China town, restaurants, bars and other fun things to explore in Kuching. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. I liked how they provided extensive toiletries like conditioner, tooth paste, combs, and other bits - very useful if you’re travelling around. I also thought it was really nice of them to provide free water and other drinks in the mini-fridge. Definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

Walls are thin, not recommended for light sleepers. Breakfast quality and options could be improved. Only one hot dish per pax was allowed.
