Wir wurden fehlerhaft in ein falsche Villa zugeteilt nahe einer Baustelle. Der Manager hat es gut geklärt. Schade ist es, dass es vorher nicht geklärt wurde.

Das Resort ist ein Traum. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit. Sehr gastfreundlich! Essen im Restaurant lecker, sowie ein herrliches Frühstücksbuffet.

"Nicht gefallen" ist falsch ausgedrückt und zu negativ. Einige Dinge sind wichtig zu wissen: - verglichen mit dem Standard der Bewohner Lomboks gleicht das Resort einem Palast. Fließendes Wasser und sanitäre Anlagen sind nicht selbstverständlich auf Lombok, deshalb haben wir über einige Dinge hinwegsehen, wie z. B. die Sauberkeit und die teilweise abgewohnte Einrichtung. Es war ordentlich, aber gewiss kein europäischer Standard. - das Resort liegt außerhalb, oben auf dem Berg. Kurz mal raus gehen und z.B. auswärts Essen gehen ist nicht möglich, geht nur mit Taxi oder Roller.

El alojamiento en sí es increíble, con unas vistas espectaculares hacia la playa y un diseño de la villa realmente bonito. Por otro lado, el personal en general es muy amable y la oferta culinaria es increíble. La gastronomía era uno de los aspectos que más me preocupaban durante el viaje y, en este alojamiento, pude disfrutar de muchas opciones diferentes en las tres comidas del día. Sin duda, un punto muy positivo de la estancia.

Supongo que los aspectos negativos están, en parte, sujetos a la mala suerte. A veces, durante una estancia, pueden surgir una serie de incidencias que terminan afectando y condicionando la experiencia. En mi caso, durante gran parte de la estancia estuve pendiente de que solucionaran el problema del agua caliente y de que cambiaran la bomba de agua para evitar que el agua siguiera saliendo tan marrón. Entiendo que este tipo de cosas pueden ocurrir, pero sí me fastidió haber perdido una parte importante de mi estancia pendiente de estas cuestiones, cuando lo que buscaba era simplemente relajarme y disfrutar al 100%. También quiero destacar que el personal intentó en todo momento compensarme por las molestias. Sin embargo, para mí la compensación no era lo más importante, ya que lo que realmente valoraba era el tiempo perdido, algo que, por mucho que se compense, ya no puede recuperarse.

There was nothing not to like about this place. The photos dont do it any justice. The only downside is that its a bit far from town so your own car/bike would be helpful. Otherwise a 10 out of 10

The only complaint would be that the pool could have been a little warmer but really no big issue.

La villa est incroyable et la vue sur la baie est superbe. La navette de l'hôtel amenant à la plage. Le petit déjeuner est un buffet vraiment délicieux !

Les villas sont isolées dans la montagne donc il est difficile d'explorer les environs (les taxis sont onéreux car la route d'accès est étroite et sinueuse, dangereuse de nuit). Le restaurant de l'hôtel est cher pour Lombok avec une cuisine très passable et peu généreuse et un service non pro (les cocktails arrivent après les plats, des commandes sont oubliés, les 4 plats sont servis avec 20min d'écart..). Nous avons eu la surprise de ne pas être acceptés au restaurant qui était complet le premier soir (personne ne nous ayant suggéré de réserver alors que nous étions arrivés à 12h..). Les scooters sont usagers et vieux pour le prix. Nous avons eu des lits simples et une baignoire non fonctionnelle.. nous aurions aimé mieux.

L’établissement était impeccable et l’équipe incroyablement accueillante. Ils ont été aux petits soins pour nous. Des espaces agréables pour les enfants sont prévus, avec trampoline, terrain de jeux et activités familiales. Nous avons passé un séjour familial excellent et très reposant. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur aide précieuse pour nos recherches. Le petit plus a été la visite de singes dans la maison un matin tôt, penser à fermer les portes vitrées à clé 😁

An exceptional location high in the hills, with breathtaking panoramic views over the ocean. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and one of the villas we stayed in was absolutely magnificent.

Unfortunately, our five-night family stay was affected by too many organisational and communication issues: two villa changes, several hours of our holiday lost waiting, confusion over the half-board menu and an excursion price, construction overlooking our private pool, a broken main entrance door The property and views are exceptional, but in our experience, the management, communication and maintenance were not at the same standard as the resort itself.

Nous avons eu une villa à côté d’une chantier de construction qui a fait du bruit un soir jusqu’à plus de 23h30 pas hyper reposant … et on a juste eu un « désolée merci pour votre compréhension » pareil quand nous nous sommes retrouvés sans eau à la villa Le personnel à la réception semblait tres gentils par contre plusieurs fois on a demandé des choses qu’ils ont validé et cela n’a pas été fait Autre point on était dépendant de leurs horaires : nous sommes loin de la plage mais il y a des navettes gratuites donc pas de soucis - nous avons fait comme ils demandaient de bien réserver au moins une heure à l’avance - on arrive un peu en avance sur l’horaire pour ne mettre personne en retard mais la on nous fait attendre 1/2h - que nous aurions pu tranquillement passé dans notre villa.

Una struttura davvero meravigliosa, con una vista spettacolare e un servizio molto attento. Si mangia molto bene e le ville sono semplicemente splendide, spaziose e curate, anche se sono tutte diverse l’una dall’altra. Noi siamo stati particolarmente fortunati perché la nostra villa era davvero stupenda. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale e il fatto che ci abbiano offerto gratuitamente il late check-out, cosa che abbiamo gradito davvero molto. L’unico aspetto da considerare è la posizione: la reception non è raggiungibile direttamente a piedi. È però sufficiente contattare via WhatsApp il servizio taxi gratuito dell’hotel e in pochi minuti arriva la macchina. La spiaggia dista circa 15 minuti e l’hotel mette inoltre a disposizione delle auto gratuite a orari fissi, molto comode per gli spostamenti. Nel complesso è stata un’esperienza davvero positiva e consiglierei sicuramente questa struttura.

To jest resort, polozony na pieknym zboczu, widok powala. Mialem wille 1A (viento - chyba tak sie pisalo) niedaleko restauracji, nieco ponizej. Lokalizacja willi byla idealna. Sam resort jest daleko od cywilizacji i trzeba o tym pamietac (tak mialo byc :) ), choc np. na plaze jezdzi shuttle a tam jest wszystko co trzeba. Jesli zwiedzasz, najlepeij miec kierowce ktory cie odbierze (nie wiem jak dzialaja apki, choc kierowcow wyszukiwaly) Willa zaprojektowana bardzo ladnie, duzo przestrzeni, swietny basen, mozna naprawde odpoczac. Sniadania bardzo dobre, lokalne klimaty i o to chodzi. Pozdrowienia dla Pani z obslugo ktora podaje wspanialy fioletowy napoj :) Małp nie widziałem ..

Musze wpsponiec, bo przy tej klasy willi nie powinno sie to zdarzyc. Nie bylo cieplej wody, w pierwszy dzien bo technika nie bylo na obiekcie. Naprawiono to jak tylko sie pojawil (bardzo mily czlowiek, fachowo ogarnal temat w kilka min). Przypuszczam ze nikt tego nie sprawdzil a wystarczylo cos wlaczyc zeby zaczelo dzialac, rozumiem ze sie wylacza zasilanie grzalek jak nie ma gosci, ale potem trzeba pamietac zeby wlaczyc. Druga sprawa, to troche niedociagniec ekipy sprzatajacej, jak by sie przylozyli troche "bardziej" bylo by naprawde 10 na 10. To tyle, ogolnie spokojnie oceniam na 10 pomimo tych niedociagniec, chetnie bym wrocil

Amazing view - spacious villa - Restaurant Breakfast lunch dinner was excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly. Very good programme offering. Movie night for kids every day.

Communication not always clear. Spa reservations were wrong both times. 2nd spa treatment was a bad experience as it was squeezed in due to wrong booking and spa staff was not prepared. Villa was not ready until 4PM at check in despite announcement of our arrival and on top not properly cleaned after we waited for an hour.

Molto molto lenti nell’eseguire le richieste. Ci hanno spostato il pranzo di un’ora senza avvisarci e non abbiamo potuto fare escursione alla spiaggia di sotto; ci hanno avvisato solo una volta arrivati che non sarebbe stato disponibile un trattamento presente nel pacchetto già prenotato, un pò improvvisati! Camera 9B2 rumorosissima tutta la notte con botti sul soffitto, nonostante avessimo avvisato e chiesto di verificare ci hanno detto che era un nido di uccelli e che non ci sarebbe più stato il rumore, mai vero e svegli tutta la notte! Male male!!

The service was absolutely disastrous. We had to wait more than two hours for a breakfast that we had ordered for my wife’s birthday, which was extremely disappointing. On top of that, we waited two hours for the car to come and pick us up, even though we had a flight to catch. This caused us a great deal of stress and was completely unacceptable. The air conditioning was also leaking onto the bed sheets, which were already very dirty. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the room were far below what we expected. To make matters worse, the breakfasts were supposed to be complimentary, but they were not provided free of charge and we ended up having to pay for them ourselves. Overall, this was a terrible experience, especially for what was supposed to be a special birthday stay. The level of service was completely unacceptable.

Le selong Selo est un très bel établissement perché dans les collines . Les villas sont magnifiques et proposent de très beaux panoramas sur la baie de selong belanak. Le personnel est absolument charmant et très souriant , mention spéciale pour la gentillesse de Aji que nous avons énormément apprécié . Le personnel de salle est très agréable et le petit déjeuner à la carte est savoureux. La gentillesse et le sourire du chef au petit déjeuner sont également à saluer ! Bonnes réactivité et rapidité du Room service et du Housekeeping à la moindre doléance. Je remercie également Nuri du Senja spa pour ses excellents massages . Nous avons passé un très beau séjour très reposant pour clôturer nos vacances à lombok .

Lors de Notre arrivée , nous avons été logés dans une villa qui se situait juste à côté d’un chantier avec plusieurs travailleurs sur place ce qui gâchait l’intimité et le calme recherchés dans un tel cadre. Nous avons été relogés dans une autre villa dans les heures qui ont suivies mais cela a un peu gâché notre accueil. Comme nous avons prolongé notre séjour pour notre dernier jour sur lombok avant notre départ , je m’attendais à ce qu’un geste commercial me soit proposé d’emblée mais j’ai dû en faire la demande et négocier . Ce qui gâche quelque peu l’expérience client . Je remercie toutefois Ayu de la réservation team d’avoir pris le temps de me rencontrer et d’échanger sur mes remarques que je souhaite être les plus constructives possibles. - Il y a je pense un souci de management au sein du resort, l’ensemble du personnel est très gentil mais nous avons eu l’impression que les informations n’étaient pas coordonnées ou mises à jour . J’ai par exemple réservé un shuttle pour la plage qui est arrivé à l’heure. Arrivée à la plage je reçois un message qui m’indique que le conducteur m’attends ( alors que j’étais déjà arrivée à destination 😅) Le temps d’attente est parfois long au restaurant ( réception des menus , arrivée des plats etc ) alors que l’on voit à quel point l’équipe semble faire de son mieux mais l’organisation semble brouillon. Alors qu’au petit déjeuner tout est beaucoup plus fluide . - Le manager ou responsable de salle ( nous ne connaissons pas son nom, il porte des lunettes ) qui prenait le temps de saluer les invités mais passait à côté de nous sans le faire ( cela nous a semblé irrespectueux) - Le ménage n’est pas fait tous les jours , ce que nous comprenons vu les superficies des villas . Néanmoins rafraîchir les sanitaires et faire les lits peut optimiser l’expérience dans un lieu d’un tel standing. Néanmoins je persiste Le resort a un excellent potentiel et aura je pense un très bel avenir si la gestion est optimisée !

Feni is the best! I have been getting massages all my life as I have muscles problems so I can tell the difference between a good massage and an average one, Feni is really good. Besides being friendly and welcoming, she is an excellent massage therapist, I wanted to take her home with me :D

Wat een fantastisch verblijf! De villa was werkelijk schitterend, met een adembenemend uitzicht over de oceaan. Alles was stijlvol ingericht en de privé plunge pool maakte het helemaal af. Het was de perfecte plek om te ontspannen en van de omgeving te genieten. Ook het eten was uitstekend. Zowel het ontbijt als de gerechten in het restaurant waren van hoge kwaliteit en erg smaakvol. Het gezamenlijke zwembad is prachtig aangelegd en nodigt uit om heerlijk te relaxen. Wij waren hier met z’n tweeën, maar zagen ook dat het een geweldige bestemming is voor gezinnen met kinderen. Er is voor iedereen iets te beleven. Wat dit hotel echt bijzonder maakt, is de service. Alle medewerkers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en doen er alles aan om je verblijf perfect te maken. Wij geven dit hotel een dikke 10 en zouden zonder twijfel terugkomen. Een absolute aanrader!

De views op de ocean vanuit de lobby, restaurant maar ook vanuit de villa. en heel attente en zorgzame personeelsleden die het allerbeste wensen voor hun gasten. Een dikke 10! Maar dan de teleurstelling hieronder ….

Selong Solo profileert zich als als een 5 sterren villa resort en dan geef je ons een villa die aan renovatie toe is? Gelukkig slechts 2 nachten en hebben voor verlening op lombok een andere villa gevonden op een andere locatie. Kort samengevat enorm teleurgesteld in de staat van de accommodatie zie foto’s jammer dat ze gasten die via booking boeken een villa geven die eigenlijk zo snel mogelijk moet worden gerenoveerd. We hadden de 3 bedroom villa Hoku met onder de villa’s 3 andere villa’s in renovatie (al heb ik weinig lawaai hinder gehad - misschien omdat we overdag op stap waren).

La villa est loin de la réception et besoin de voiture, restaurant mal dimensionné donc besoin permanent de réserver c'est dommage. La villa était magnifique mais pb d'eau chaude, toilette.

Une expérience malheureusement très décevante à Selong Selo Lombok. Nous avions réservé cet établissement en nous basant sur les photos et la description disponibles sur Booking, mais à notre arrivée, nous avons constaté un grand écart entre ce qui était présenté et la réalité. La villa que nous avons découverte était beaucoup plus ancienne que ce que les photos laissaient penser. La salle de bain était particulièrement vétuste et l’ensemble ne correspondait pas au standing attendu ni aux images de l’annonce. Voyageant avec nos enfants, nous n’avons pas pu nous sentir à l’aise dans ces conditions. Après avoir essayé de trouver une solution, nous avons finalement dû annuler notre séjour et chercher un autre hébergement en pleine nuit, ce qui a été une situation très stressante et difficile pour notre famille. C’est dommage car le cadre et la vue depuis l’établissement sont magnifiques, mais l’expérience dans la villa n’a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous espérons que Selong Selo prendra en compte ces remarques afin d’améliorer la qualité des logements et de mieux refléter la réalité des villas proposées.

We arrived in Lombok as Bali regulars, spending at least a month there every year, and left wondering why we hadn't trusted the advice of others sooner. Lombok, and Selong Selo in particular, will now be an annual family holiday destination for us. We had a wholesome and thoroughly enjoyable family holiday, one of the best we've had in years. The beaches and sea are spectacular, arguably the best in Indonesia. Crystal-clear water meets largely untouched coastline, and even during peak periods it never once felt overcrowded. Try finding that in Bali. Lombok has evolved. There is a growing and impressive food and beverage scene, with an excellent mix of restaurants and cafés all within ten minutes of Selong Selo. Between the resort's own dining options and the increasing number of quality venues nearby, we were genuinely spoilt for choice. The Selong Selo villas are fantastic, but what really made the trip memorable was the staff. The team went above and beyond. They didn't just look after us; they genuinely engaged with our children, even helping to organise and join football and touch rugby games. Those moments became some of our kids' favourite memories of the holiday. Many people have told me that "Lombok is what Bali used to be." Having now experienced it firsthand, I find myself repeating exactly the same message to anyone willing to listen. Selong Selo is a very special place.

This is a wonderful place, a slice of paradise on a beautiful island. The villas are in excellent condition, the grounds are well-maintained, and offer stunning views of the ocean and beach. I'd especially like to mention the friendly staff. The service is excellent, including the restaurant. A special plus is the personal butler service. Our assistant, Alif, helped us with everything. Transportation was always on time. We learned about all the beautiful and interesting places to visit. Alif was always available.

Staff are very friendly as you’d expect and try to be accommodating. Special mention to our laundry lady Lilik, clothes were promptly washed and neatly returned. Selong beach is a good clean beach (though the water can get a little crowded with learner surfers). The views, as mentioned in most reviews, are impressive. The evening menu at the restaurant is good and the food is quality is reasonable (however avoid Friday’s all you can eat satay BBQ, wildly overpriced for what it is). The movie under the stars for the kids was a really nice surprise for them and eagerly awaited each evening.

There’s not one thing in isolation that made the stay bad, it’s just an accumulation many little things that take the luxury out of the resort. We were given a 4 bedroom instead of a 3 bedroom, generosity or lack of 3 bedroom units, not sure. The downside was the bunk bed room was located downstairs inside the living area, while all other bedrooms were outside upstairs. It wasn't practical to have the kids separate (esp as the sliding doors are pretty heavy for them), so they shared a double bed upstairs. In Selo’s defence, we asked and were shown a different villa, it was a slightly better layout but right at the bottom of the resort. The villa itself was clearly one of the older ones, floors and walls heavily marked and needs a proper deep clean, the rubbish in the garden and end of the pool needs removed, and outdoor area waterblasted. Lots of bugs in the main living area, even though we had the doors closed – we purchased some bug spray. Pretty sure there was something living in the false ceiling of the living area, we heard it scurrying around daily. Virtually useless set of utensils and cooking equipment provided - word of caution, nearest decent supermarket is in Kuta anyway... Breakfasts were actually pretty good, but this is in the not so good section because the egg dishes (royale, omelette, benedict etc) were always served cold even though they’re made to order. If you want to eat in the evening down in Selong, no Grab cars around, so the resort will charge you 484,000 rupiahs (SGD35) for return. An outrageous price. For perspective, average meal at the resort is ~180,000 rupiahs. I complained and they offered a free transfer. Otherwise, make friends with the beach shuttle drivers and pay half. Pre-arrival, I received a phishing whatsapp message with all my booking details for Selong Selo (including price in INR) requesting payment to be made. Despite asking, I never received an explanation of how this information was leaked.

Die Villa ist sehr schön,das Restaurant wo das Frühstück serviert wird liegt auch sehr schön und die Auswahl ist auch gut.Die Angestellten sind sehr zuvorkommend.

Neben unserer Villa würde gebaut und die Eingangstür zum Grundstück war defekt.Im Restaurant beim Frühstück war der Service gut aber dauerte stellenweise sehr lang bis Kaffee oder das Essen kam.

Tydelig er det ikke lett å ha et så stort anlegg på toppen av et fjell så vann var et problem. Det ble borte til stadighet, men det ble fikset fort alltid. Det var manglende vedlikehold, særlig på badene hvor treverk var muggent og bassengene var en historie for seg. Vi hadde 3 boliger på 5 dager og fikk siste dag og siste natt med ordentlig basseng vann, men tydelig at de sparte på vannet da det var dry season. Synd da dette ødela helhetsinntrykket.

Wow this place really has the wow factor! Set up high in the mountains amidst a tropical jungle the resort is in a remote location, but this adds to the beauty of the unspoiled views and the sense of peace. From the minute we arrived, we felt that we were somewhere special. The views were breathtaking and the staff very helpful, friendly and kind. It should be noted that the resort is on the side of a mountain and therefore roads and paths to get to the villas from the restaurant and reception quite steep in places. The resort offers a vehicle service to drop and collect guests from their Villa to reception. Nothing is walkable nearby but the resort offer a shuttle service to the local beach. This beach Selong Balanak was very pretty, but sadly very littered which ruined the experience somewhat. Breakfast had a range of good menu options, however, on each of the three mornings we were there, the avocado had run out which left us disappointed. Dinner was decent but not the best food we’ve had in Indonesia. The resort also offers opportunities to visit local schools and partake in charity opportunities which was wonderful to see. All in all we loved this resort and will be back if we ever find ourselves in Lombok again.

The Villas are set up in the hills overlooking Selong Beach approx 20 mins shuttle ride to Selong Beach and township. The staff dropped us off and picked us up whenever we need via WhatsApp. We never had to wait long. Our villa was half way down the hill. It was stunning to look at but a little damp smelling likely due to getting less sun than the others. Could do with a little maintence but absolutely fine for the price. The restaurant food and service is outstanding and well priced. The gym is very well equipped. Equally I felt comfortable running alone along the roads which arent as busy as main routes. Our son surfed off a boat at Mawi which left from Selong Belanak each morning. Good 1.5 to 3m waves. Excellent surf schools also. Overall highly recommend for the price, setting and the exceptional service from the staff

Mieliśmy jeden dzień relaksu i nie przygotowano dla nas basenu , prosiłem o zmianę ale nikt nie poszedł nam na rękę. Wszystko drogie i prosiliśmy o kierowcę na wycieczki to podali nam 3 krotność ceny normalnej lokalnego kierowcy.

Our stay at Selong Selo was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and seamlessly organised. Our wonderful driver greeted us at the airport with such warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for what became an unforgettable holiday. Every single member of the Selong Selo team went above and beyond to ensure we had a truly memorable stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the genuine kindness, attentiveness and hospitality shown by everyone made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our visit. Our villa was absolutely breathtaking. The views were simply spectacular, waking up each morning to the sweeping ocean and hillside scenery was something we'll never forget. The villa itself was beautifully designed, impeccably maintained and offered the perfect balance of luxury, comfort and privacy. One of our favourite experiences was the massage. The therapists were friendly, highly professional and incredibly skilled, leaving us feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Selong Selo offers so much more than beautiful accommodation it delivers a genuine sense of care and hospitality that makes every guest feel special. We leave with wonderful memories and cannot thank the entire team enough for making our stay so remarkable. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Selong Selo to anyone looking for an unforgettable luxury escape in Lombok.

Alles was echt heel goed! Ik heb enkel een paar suggesties die jullie eventueel kunnen meenemen. Misschien kunnen jullie wat meer folders en informatie over de omgeving en activiteiten in de villa klaarleggen. Ook zou het handig zijn om op de kamers een insectenspray of een anti-insectenapparaat te voorzien. Verder was alles echt helemaal top!

- villa moderne, bien équipée et fonctionnelle - vue dégagée sur la plage de Selong Belanak - beaucoup d activités pour les enfants : trampoline, terrain de foot, fléchettes, ping-pong, kids club…. - le personnel est très attentionné : serviables, de bonne humeur, ils jouent même avec les enfants pour qu on puisse prendre nos repas au calme - les Nannies proposent beaucoup d activités également : peinture, sculpture sur ballons, création de bracelet…. - l’hôtel est en pleine nature, vous croiserez peut être des singes, donc soyez raisonnables et laissez vos portes de la maison fermées

Il y a forcément des inconscients pour avoir une telle vue : l’hôtel se trouve à 15 min environ de la plage de Selong. L hôtel organise des navettes gratuitement à 10h,12,14h et 16h. Nous avons finalement loué des scooters pour plus d autonomie. La route est praticable, même de nuit, mais il faut être vigilant car cela reste 1 route dans la jungle

Our villa was the Cullen villa with a view on the hills and the sea. It was perfect. The restaurant Aura serves excellent food but the portions at lunch and dinner are quite small. The waiters are very attentive and when we said that we were hungry as a joke while waiting for our meal they gave us a complimentary dessert. They are really trying to satisfy their clients. They have nice fitness too. They organize a few activities for kids (we saw lots of families) but our teenager did not take part in them. The location of the resort is magical as far as the view is concerned but it makes you dependent on their shuttle car service which brings you for free to the beach at 10.00,12.00, 14.00and 16.00 (sometimes they are late). After 16.00 you have to pay 10 Eur for a drive down or up which is up to us quite a lot. Their prices for tours are also too high and you can find cheaper elsewhere. We loved the beach restaurant Laut Biru both for its location and settings which trees and for their food. Selong Belanak is a great beach to take beginner surf lessons, play in the waves, enjoy resting and watch the sunset. We went to Kuta for one afternoon. It is mainly crowded and not so interesting (also very dirty as the back of Mawi beach is). Better for younger people who are going out for drinks.

Everything. The breakfast was delicious. The restaurant and the outside dining is incredible. Our 2 bedroom villa included a pool and we were absolutely blown away with the view and the entire holiday home. We holidayed with our young daughter and the staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay so special. We also enjoyed that it was a short ride on our scooter to the beach, which meant it was away from the hustle and bustle.

Beautiful property, views are unmatched. Staff are very friendly. Food prices are decent. Pool is clean. All amenities needed are available.

Our first villa all the rooms were not in the main villa. But that’s my fault I should have checked with the resort before. Free breakfast is a little limited.

The view from the main restaurant and the villa was amazing, like another world. The staff in the restaurant very attentive and welcoming, we had Zara who was wonderful.

A bit far from town and beach and taxis in between are expensive, once we hired a scooter it was much easier

L’établissement était très propre et l’équipe a été très accueillante. Tout le monde est au petits soins. L’établissement prévoit des espaces agréables pour les enfants avec trampoline, terrain de jeux et activités familiales. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille et très reposant. Merci à toute l’équipe pour leur accueil et l’aide apportée pour faire des recherches.

Le trajet pour se rendre à l’hôtel est long car il est isolé mais la vie sur la baie en vaut le coup. L’odeur des canalisations peut être dérangeante dans les salles de bains.

Nádherný vilový rezort! Personál bol fantastický! TAKMER každý náš problém, alebo požiadavka bola ihneď vyriešená. Pri check ine nám zniesli kufre až do našej izby a pri check oute zase až do kufra nášho auta - SUPER! Welcome drink nám taktiež padol počas horúceho dňa veľmi dobre! Využil som tiež fitko s fantastickou otváracou dobou 24/7!Čistota izieb a bazénov je na veľmi dobrej úrovni. Aj napriek polohe rezortu (15 minút autom od pláže) stojí za návštevu! Nádherný výhľad z našej vily na oceán si budem pamätať do konca života! Dúfam, že sa do Selong Selo ešte niekedy vrátim.

K dokonalosti by som vypichol pár maličkostí: Raňajky by mohli začínať už o 6am - každé ráno by som to využil. Jedlo v reštaurácii vyzerá fajn, ale chuť je nedotiahnutá - to je dôvod prečo sme v reštaurácii večerali len 1 krát. Raňajkový bufet je fantastický, pri objednávaných raňajkách tomu opäť trochu chýbalo k 5 hviezdičkám. Exteriér víl a príjazdové cesty by mohli byť o trošku lepšie udržiavané. Vo vile sme mali aj izby bez okien s poschodovými posteľami pre deti. V jednej z nich bol cítiť mierny zápach, zrejme plesne, keďže izby nie sú vetrané - na šťastie sme túto izbu nevyužívali. Deň pred odchodom sme požiadali o takeaway raňajky na 6am (croisant a káva), keďže sme potrebovali odísť pred časom raňajok. Keď sme ráno prišli do reštaurácie, nikto o našej požiadavke nevedel a takeaway raňajky nám začali pripravovať až keď sme o to znovu požiadali ráno a náš odchod sa oneskoril o 15 minút. Aj napriek týmto nedostatkom som si svoj pobyt veľmi užil a verím, že personál v budúcnosti tieto chyby napraví.

Tout est parfait du début à la fin que ce soit dans l’accueil dans le service et la qualité. Je recommande fortement. Si jamais je me retrouve dans la région Lombok je reviendrai

The views are stunning. The staff are nice and well meaning but poorly trained and don't communicate between themselves.

When I booked this place I made it clear we were a couple coming with a 1 year old baby. Yet they gave us a 2 bedroom villa where 1 room was at the top of the hill and the other was at the bottom of a hill separated by a steep flight of stairs. Hence there was no way we would be able to sleep in separate rooms. On the first day, we arrived late so had to make do. On the 2nd day, we thought we'd move to the bottom villa as it was bigger but although there were two entries to the villa, only 1 was working which meant we had to creep past the sleeping or napping baby in order to access the bedroom or bathroom facilities. The staff couldn't find the key for the other door. That night we messaged them to say the villa was inadequate and requested to speak to the manager. They replied saying their manager was away but they would have a room ready for us to look at when we came for breakfast at 8am The next morning at 8am I went to the reception and the staff had no idea what I was talking about. Once they talked amongst themselves, they said that the new room wasn't ready. So we had breakfast and went back to the room. At 10.30am, when the baby is just about to nap, they text me saying that the villa is ready for viewing. My wife goes to see the villa and we confirm we'd like to move to the new room. They say they need 2 hours to get the room ready. 2 hours later at 12.45pm we tell them were packed and ready to go. They are not ready. At 3pm the baby is about to have his 2nd nap so I check again. The room is still not ready. No new time was provided. At 5pm I go to the reception and let them know we'll be going home early. That's when they tell me that the room was actually ready 30 minutes ago. This infuriates me and reaffirms our decision to leave early. During the course of our short holiday there, we asked for fresh coconuts twice. Both times they weren't available.

the scenery is beautiful. the all day dining is good except for some dishes.

the grilled meats is not as tasty as their local dishes ... the goreng pisang used a banana thats not ripe.

The view was stunning. Service was 10/10, everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and funny. Breakfast buffet was great and additional to the buffet you can order à la carte.

Selong selo is basically I the middle of nowhere, so you can’t just walk out of the resort and discover the area - which is a sacrifice you have to take for the amazing view.

The mini bar was not replenish. There was a weeding at a time so we were forbidden to use the restaurant and the pool even though we payed the full fare for all the facilities. I recommend this place unless there is a weeding.

I love absolutely everything about the villa and the services. The view is otherworldly. Peaceful and Serene too. Food was fabulous too. All the service staffs were polite and gentle. Accommodates to our needs throughout our stay. Commendable staffs like Sam n Hirwan from the restaurant service particularly. Ever so smiling and happy to serve us. We also loved the live band during steak night. Beautiful singing. Fabulous breakfast

Very close to nature. In fact we are in the center of nature. Too close therefore so many insects encounters. Geckos, bees , monkeys too. All was good. But myself and hubby got bee stung twice but all was well. Periodic electricity outage I guess from the villa construction nearby but service staff very prompt to address the issue..

We had a wonderful stay in Selong Selo. The villa was absolutely magnificent, with an incredible view and all the comforts we needed to relax and fully enjoy our holiday.
