Planeta Atacama Lodge

Very nice lodge; quiet, personal touch, small scale, stunning views and very comfortable. Little outside village, 15m walk to Plaza, therefor you get all the other things.

This place was wonderful. The host, Constanza, was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The property is located on the edge of San Pedro de Atacama so you have an uninterrupted view of the amazing landscape; watching the moon rise over the mountains is incredible. The room was large, spotless and really comfortable - well insulated from the heat of the day and warm at night. Absolutely loved my stay here

Rien

La tranquilidad y la vista

Very welcoming, helping and nice. A lot of style and exactly like in the pictures

It is a little far from center, but at the same time it makes it calmer

Location was stunning and the help

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. Felt so remote yet still only a 20m walk into the centre of town. Incredible panoramic views and lots of relaxing places to sit / lie when not out exploring. The staff were fantastic too, especially Constanza who gave excellent advice and always ready to help.

Constanza was always available and helped us plan our excursions, which was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

The room was generally fine, but it could have been a bit cleaner.

Fantastic location

Nothing

We had a wonderful stay at Atacama Lodge. Constanza provided us most useful information about trips, restaurants and what to experience in and around San Pedro. Very nice and calm place, would definitely book again.

-

Rien

Unique design and really quiet. Friendly staff and owners

All ok

A very nice B&B, with very large, comfortable bed & good breakfast. The manager, Constanza, was extremely helpful in booking trips & general recommendations, but most of all the view from the window of the room was magnificent - a picture postcard view of Volcan Licancabur, something that would be obscured in most places in San Pedro.

It was quite a long walk to the town centre (about 20 min), but we knew that when booking.

Gorgeous view. Kind people.

The view from the room is fantastic! The host is extremely helpful and friendly.

It would be good if there is a microwave

Very helpful and friendly staff in a beautiful location with fabulous views, a lovely patio area for breakfasts and a comfortable cabin

A bit remote from the town centre and facilities

Very nice peaceful place, comfy room, great shared kitchen and terace Very kind staf, she gave us good suggestiobs and help to book some of them. We had a car , I recomend Mornig rent a service!

/

I loved that this lodge was quiet yet only a 15-minute walk from town. The room was very comfortable too.

Nothing

The location was perfect! And wow! What an incredible view! The rooms were spacious and the beds were extra comfortable! Breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs, coffee and juice! The hosts are welcoming and incredibly accomodating!

Sustainable construction, distant from noise and commotion of town, starry night view, artistic design

I have to start with the location. While staying outside of town won’t be for everyone, the upside is it’s very peaceful and you get the benefit of the amazing uninterrupted view of the mountains and in the evening a spectacular sky. The rooms are large and comfortable, the shower was good. The breakfast was also very nice. The common dining/lounge area with outdoor seating and fire pit has great views, with complimentary tea / coffee available. There are free bikes available which reduces the 20min walk into town to a short cycle. Constanzia was an excellent host, friendly and helpful.

Nothing

It was a lovely quite spot

Wspaniałe miejsce, zgodne z opisem i zdjęciami.

Peaceful location with clear skies for viewing the stars. Communication in advance of our arrival was great and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The walk into town was fine - 20-25 minutes depending on which part you were going to, and all of our tours were happy to pick us up from this location.

Can't think of anything!

Everything was perfect, from the view on the volcanos to the delicious breakfast, the very quiet location. The person in charge of the Lodge, Costanza, was of exceptional help for us in organizing different visits, giving us great advices for choosing restaurants… THANK YOU COSTANZA.

Breakfast was amazing, a highlight of our trip here! Freshly made eggs, juice, and coffee, and a beautiful view. Constanza was also incredibly helpful with booking tours and giving us recommendations for things to do. We couldn't recommend this place enough and absolutely loved our stay!! The only downside is that it is a little further from the center of town, so it's most suitable for folks who have a car or are willing to bike. We had a car and we actually enjoyed being a little further from the center of town, and found it easy to drive into town/tourist sites.

Clean and quiet small lodge 25 minute walk to the main shopping area of San Pedro. At night we could see the twinkling night sky and at breakfast gaze at the Andes. The rooms are a comfortable size and we enjoyed the fresh cooked eggs every morning. There is a split unit and when we returned at the end of the day it quickly cooled our room. There is shaded parking. The manager provided helpful directions to all the sights and proactively communicated with us. We highly recommend this property.

We were greeted by Juan who was very kind and helpful. The Lodge is wonderful, very silent and the rooms are really nice and plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable. There are even towels for a possible swim around Atacama. Also it is only 15-20 mins of walk from the San Pedro de Atacama which is great for the lunches etc. There is no dinner but the breakfast was very good. The lodge is reflecting the vibe of Atacama very well :)

Gorgeous views, peaceful, and lovely staff.

It is on the outskirts of the town so quiet and the sky at night is beautiful. Only 5 rooms so never busy but a real delight to chat to others over breakfast. Breakfast with such a view over the mountains! It was a real retreat. A perfect haven after exploring the desert. It's a very traditional style property which makes it all the more special.

It was waht we were looking for and maybe better than expected. It is a very calm and peacefull lodge, which was very vital for us. The buildings are naturally made and the views are magnificent. The staff was excellent, very kind and polite. One of the reasons that we picked the lodge was that we had read reviews that they can guide you and advise you about the area and the sightseeing. And it was true! Their advice was spot on!

If I have to find sth I would say that it is 20 minutes on foot away from the village and you might need a car (you can use bikes of course from the lodge). But this can be an advantage as it provides peace and calmness.

Breakfast was top notch, surroundings are quiet, you can even see stars

All was good!

This is a great place with fantastic hosts who are genuinely interested in giving you a wonderful experience. The location is ideal, just outside San Pedro, with beautiful views of the mountains and the volcano.

Absolutely nothing

Breakfast was great and the view was fabulous! There were so many stars at night. The host is nice and friendly. We can't thank her enough for taking us back from town when we were not feeling well. Highly recommended for anyone going to the area! The room was big enough for you to enjoy your stay. You could just relax at your room with the view of the iconic volcano.

Basically nothing for what we have booked for. But you do need a car if you stay here.

A perfect spot for someone searching for calm place to stay. The room was beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the owner is very kind and helpful. Everything was well thought. Could not recommend more.

Lovely accommodation. Stunning view from your room. Clean. Large bed. Good breakfast. Mayda, the host, is warm and welcoming and available to help with recommendations. Very tranquil accommodation. You could walk into San Pedro town from there but it's a little bit far so ideally you'd need a car to stay there. Ideal place to finish our month adventure.

Nothing

Colazione così così, spazi all'aperto completamente abbandonati.

Nice views, cozy rooms and very quiet

Ruhig, Tolle Aussicht- etwas außerhalb vom Ort.

Muchas gracias!

Amazing location and place to stay in San Pedro de Atacama. It’s slightly outside the town, but you could walk/bike in, but we had a rental car so was a lot easier. Nice rooms, big bed, everything you need. Great communication and recommendations from Maida throughout our stay. As there is only a small number of rooms, it is a special place to stay as a couple. Breakfast was great with the most amazing views. I would recommend this as a perfect base to explore the Atacama desert!

Quarto sensacional e vista perfeita.

Simpatia do dono e funcionários.

Beautiful location. Interesting architecture. Very comfortable Fabulous breakfast and wonderful staff

Toller Ausblick, sehr privat, geschmackvoll! Sehr netter Kontakt, viele nützliche Infos erhalten!

Nada destacable

The location is about 20mins to main streets but absolutely quiet and perfect for those who love to take photograph of stars and galaxy! Staffs are very nice and helpful. You can also order delivery food.

Beautiful location, away from the main town centre so peaceful, quiet and safe! Constanza, our host, was extremely helpful with connecting us with tours, recommending restaurants and helping us translate. Gorgeous views and fabulous daily breakfast.

The room got a little stuffy overnight, a fan in the room would have made it perfect but otherwise it was great!
