Slive Hotel

Staff very helpful and pleasant, rooms very clean and we could see that staff like their job. 🥰🙏

Bed was a little to firm for me but wife liked bed. This is not a dislike in any way whatsoever, just my opinion, great place great stay ❤️

Rien.

Water pressure was almost nonexistent

Breakfast was delicious. The dinners were fantastic. Both Thai and western options and Khun Han was exceptionally welcoming to us and very helpful.

Nothing.

The staff was smiling when we arrived, warm welcome is key

Für Surin sehr gutes Hotel!

Frühstück

My second time staying at this property. The staff is warm and caring and speak English. Theres a great cafe downstairs and its cebtralky located

The service is great! Location is very convenient. In front of the hospital but you are not disturbed by noises.

Very clean everywhere. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Good fitness room. Great shower.

Everything was good or perfect.

The Staff were fantastic, 10 out of 10

Breakfast is amazing, we really enjoyed our breakfast everyday all the food was delicious also staff were friendly and helpful.

The washing machines in our room is very noisy, it’s better if you can fixed it.

I stayed here for two (2) glorious nights, with an experience that was seamlessly indulgent, from check-in to check-out. I took the 'breakfast included' option and glad I did, as the freshly made to order omelet, along with the expansive supporting buffet (plus pipping hot coffee), was a great way to start each of my stay. Contemporary architecture plus decor, adorns this classy and extremely conveniently located* property . In terms of location, * more ticks in a box, with the big public hospital right across the road and, cafes, spas plus a couple of 7/Elevens, close nearby. Big on facilities, including compact, but well enough equipped gym, sky garden (with smokers lounge) , meeting rooms, inhouse spa, plus restaurant. Manned security, ample undercover parking, supported with a well laid out drop-off and pickup space for supplementary transport, out front. The service crew, from reception to housekeeping, restaurant and security were all fantastic.

The best in Surin

More modern hotel in central city location. Friendly and helpful staff. However, tight parking and strange elevator/stair design at street level and first floor. Parking attendant needs to wear visible clothing if he doesn’t want to be suicidal…

Very comfortable bed, with added bonus of having a selection of different pillow sizes and softness. Underrated feature in a hotel.

Hot water wasn't quite hot enough (I did visit during the coldest weather Surin has probably ever experienced, so normally this wouldn't be an issue. Veiw out of my window was unfortunately restricted to Surin ;)

Nice staff, quiet gym, clean, good price, only negative was restaurant downstairs

Location, cleanliness

Some stuffs getting old Low shower water pressure

The hotel has friendly receptionists and parking security, but the rooms need some upgrades and it’s poor pressure of hot water in the shower and is noisy air conditioning and a lot of noise in the hallways and between the rooms. The breakfast is not what it used to be too. I have been here many times before. Hotel is near nice park for walking, hospital and city.

Breakfast was comprehensive and fullfilling. Hotel is spotless yet warm and welcoming....not clinical.

Later opening bar.

Clean/ comfortable bed

From the moment we got there we felt welcomed. The guard guided us into parking and was so polite and helpful. The reception staff were all smiles and helpful. The room was spotless and had all amenities. The bed was super comfortable. The restaurant was great with a good menu and manager was very attentive.

I couldn’t get the tv to work but my other travel companions had theirs working.

Good stay but very weak wi-fi

Je séjourne tres souvent dans cet hôtel. Il est parfait. Je recommande.

This was our second stay. It will continue to be our hotel of choice when staying in Surin. Book early if it is Elephant Festival weekend though.

Great room, great location, bed was good.

Couple of the pillows were really poor. Breakfast was very poor if you're not Thai. Even for a Thai it wasn't very good.

Very nice hotel with one of the best breakfast buffets in Thailand.

Excellent stay - great value hotel on edge of city. Very helpful and efficient staff. Superb room with shower, kettlle, fridge, etc. Breakfast in cafe downstairs was good. Tuk tuks available from opposite hotel ( adjacent to hospital ) - so easy to get around town. Strongly recommended.

Nice clean standard room with good beds. The room are very regular and has good space for storing luggage after unpacking. A chair an small table plus a very large table under the TV completes the good impressions. A negative is, that not all rooms has a safe. We were unlucky that our room had a plumbing failure causing the sink faucet to leak water all over the bathroom. It was fixed within an hour, but the fix was not sufficient and water started leaking a little again. The lobby is nice and welcoming and the staff is nice and helpful. It is possible to park for free in the hotel basement and the lift goes all the way into the basement. There is a restaurant located in the hotel building, where you can get a free coffee all the day. Breakfast is served here as well. The breakfast is pretty basic (bread, jam, buffer, cerials), but you can have omelets and eggs made to order. There are a small selection of western and thai dishes as well.

Based on the mostly very positive reviews we decided to give this hotel a try. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. But first the positive: Rooms 411 & 311 (both suites) are spacious, nicely equipped with kitchenette, a good shower, and plenty of electrical outlets. The TV is good with many channels to choose from. And now the negative: The mattresses are hard like a rock. Kitchenette has no stove. Therefore, only good for heating up food in the microwave. TV remote controls difficult to understand and operate. Electric outlets loose and wiggly. Hotel location is on a very busy street across from hospital. Parking is underground, very tight, and has limited spaces. (We had to park outside in front of restaurant two of the four nights we stayed.) The worst, however, is the elevator. It does not stop at street level (which I can understand) and at lobby level (which I do not understand). So, when you check in you will have to use stairs (which is a problem for handicapped persons or older persons who have difficulties climbing stairs (like us). Elevator controls are not reliable (you have to push buttons multiple times otherwise it doesn’t go anywhere). Also, the rooms have no views (except for a wall or a rooftop of a next door building). Last, but not least, our door lock electronics didn’t work reliably and couldn’t be fixed on a Sunday. So we moved from 411 to 311. Breakfast is decent, and all employees are friendly and helpful. Would we stay again? Probably not…

Everything

Breakfast less western selection.

Excellent location as we were visiting a friend in hospital and it was 20 mts away 😁 The roof top garden was great to sit and relax between visiting times 👍

There were no complaints about our stay

the garden on the top. you can enjoy after seightseeing. breakfast excelent

no restaurant after 5 pm

Comfortable, Cleanses, Excellent Breakfast

Limit parking

Breakfast was great with different variety of Thai foods each day. Plus fresh fruits.

The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable pillows. We checked in around 830pm, their staffs was going to charge us 10 bath per day for asking for another blanket for my son. We stayed there from 12/18/23-1/3/24, family’s Suite.

Plenty of breakfast choices.Thai menu is change everyday include Thai desserts.Love Frsh Milk, coffe machine and Xaomi steam oven.Salad dressing also gets healthy olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Fitness Room has many equipments in well function. Roof Top Garden is worth a visit in the morning or evening. Staffs is standard

In room One of wall sockets beside bed was not function properly.Staff told me to use the other socket instead but I needed to use more than 1 socket there. So I asked for extension plug then they got me one. Soda cans could be Coke which is much favorable. If it has foot bath warming woulde be excellent.

The room smelled of mold. we left a day earlier. a refund was refused.

What lovely and accommodating staff! Perfect location for a home base wile adventuring.

Slive is in a great location and the rooms are really nice and comfortable. There is a well equipped gym on the 2nd floor and a great restaurant on ground floor. The internet is good and breakfast is delicious. Staff are friendly and welcoming!

No hot water in shower was the only negative, but it was a big one.

The hotel looks a lot better on the inside than the outside. The room is modern very clean and bigger than usual. The gym is also very clean with lots of equipment.

The breakfast did not have many vegitarian options.

Breakfast buffet

Location. Difficult to get taxi

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Fair restaurant prices, great reception staff, and the rooms were classy and spotlessly clean! Modern up to date rooms, lovely bedding and a great car park in the centre of Surin. This will be my hotel of choice anytime I cross the border from Thailand to Cambodia. Border crossing is 1 hour away.

Tolles Hotel.

everything good

All ok

Clean

Tissue hanging in the bathroom(a little bit not easy to take it out)

Mooi, modern hotel, vriendelijke ontvangst, mooie kamer en badkamer. Goed ontbijt.

central location

it’s getting a bit tired. There were holes in the bedsheets and the food in the downstairs restaurant is not as good as before. Breakfast is basic and the fried eggs were cold. But staff were friendly and the housekeeping was efficient

Everything about this hotel has been thought out for the comfort and convenience of travellers. All furnishings and facilities are of excellent quality. There were many extra touches, like ample space for luggage, good lighting and lots of hanging space. All staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful. They were able to arrange transportation for us to several places of interest. We were served in English. Breakfast was ample with a good variety of choices in a pleasant setting. We enjoyed the rooftop sitting areas on the 3rd and 4th floors.

The elevator did not start at the entrance but required us to walk up a flight of stairs every time we entered. Staff were quick to transport our luggage up these steps. This was not a big problem for us, but could be for some.

Fantastic hotel compared to price! Room at fourth level was spacious and very clean like toilet too. Amenities were plenty. Free indoor parking is located at bottom floor and you can take lift from there. Very friendly guy assisted with parking. Breakfast was also good and there is also nice coffee shop having ice cream available too. Small but nice playground for children seemed to be in good use.

Modern clean hotel with an excellent location in town. Undercover parking was good.

Like warm showers again!
