Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Perfect location for the Sunway area, good room, comfy bed and walk-in shower. Free cold water available. Plenty of local Mamak places to get excellent food nearby. Only 25 mins with a Grab to central KL which is fantastic.
Whilst you cannot hear any external noise (from the road, etc.) it can sometimes be quite noisy inside because you can hear talking from neighboring rooms.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Strategic located close to Sunway mall, for 2-3 minutes walking. There’s is mamak / nasi kandar below the hotel, easy to get food, with other convenient stores around. And plus point, I got the parking spot by the hotel, as the parking in that area quite challenging. The room is clean, the bed and pillow is soft and the toilet is huge. The check in and check out was easy pesy with welcoming staff.
The hotel wall quite thin, so you can hear some of bit sounds outside your room, from people go and out the hotel, but no harm, worth the money

Have to say the plumbing side. Stayed 3 times and 3 times the sink were clogged. This time the toilet cannot flushed and the bidet is spoiled. It were the same problem again and again

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026I like its cleanliness and the spacious room. The location is strategic where you can find eateries and restaurants, convenience shops, and e- hailing services. The bed and mattress are comfortable promoting good rest.
I was quite surprised that the single room I booked was designed with disabled friendly toilet (with hand rails) and wheelchair ramp. I am not sure if the room was designed to cater the needs of the disabled/ wheelchair user guest.

Reviewed May 15, 2026Been staying around dis area for the past 4 years at different Budget Hotels and found that Artisan is one of the Good ones. Rooms are spacious and clean. Location is very convenient. Would definitely come back and recommend to family and friends.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025I have serious issues about the lift, which appears to be very faulty. It has no aircon and is very humid, and it does not work properly. From the second floor it is a problem to go down and the doors are not working properly. They will close three times before the lift will actually move. The "close doors" button does not work anymore. Someone is going to get stuck in those lifts one day. While you are here there are no cleaners and the towels are not changed each day. So you must remake the bed yourself. Better off paying an extra $10 a night and you can get another hotel in the same area with more service.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2025The room and bathroom are clean and neat. The water pressure is in good condition. They also provide free-flow hand soap, shampoo and showee gel. We also received 2 breakfast vouchers. The hotel also have water dispenser and iron board for my floor. The wifi is good connection. This hotel also have a elevator.
The price for the room is not the same from Booking.com even after confirmed. I manage to booked for RM88 but I need to pay RM104 during check in. I need to pay deposit RM50 upon check in but it is refundable. Normally in Booking.com they will tell you the total price you need to pay after you confirmed your stayed. By doing this, the hotel got hidden chargers that is not stated in the site. The hotel parking is only for 2 parking lots. I need to find a parking about 1 hour before check in.
