All reviews were actually correct. the location is amazing with regards to the view and the public transportation (it has a bus stop and around 20 min from fenchihu train station), the fact you can witness sunrise 2 min walk from the place as well. And how clean the entire place was. I loved their hotpot dinner and the attentiveness of their staff and how proactive they are. example, I requested for their vegetarian hotpot because i do not eat meat, then i found out that they have some seafood options to add while serving my friends their pork hotpot, so i requested for seafood as well to be added to my pot and they happily immediately did that without additional charges (because there are different prices for the hotpot). Also, i woke up a bit late for breakfast and they boiled eggs specially for me to have breakfast since I missed it (they gave me 6 eggs while i requested for 2, this is generosity that we appreciate very much for us as Arabs)

the price is a bit expensive specially if you are alone and will not share the room costs and would like to stay for a few days. and there is not any activity to do around the place, so you need to have inner peace to stay on your own and just relax (I like doing that in general so I was not bothered, it depends on your personality)

The location is perfect for a beautiful sunset or sunrise if you get lucky with the weather. Great, clean, and well maintained. The hot pot offered here is a MUST.

We traveled with a 3yo. We tried to give him some screen time, but the television was difficult to operate unless you know Chinese. Additionally, there isn't any Netflix or YouTube access. You only have local channels, but there is a Chinese kids channel.

Coffee sachets in the room were already blended with milk. Straightforward black coffee sachets would have been good.

老闆打造歐風民宿，晚上有柴火造景很溫馨、牆面配色飽和感及盆栽很美，夜景及日出都別有風味，山嵐很美、裡面布置也很溫暖可愛，住宿前方有平台可以看日出，英迪格飯店也在旁邊，所以看到的是同一片日出。

可能多天有雨、微有霉味，其他無可挑剔，CP值不錯，希望別漲價 哈哈。

We felt welcomed the minute we arrived. We were travelling with our baby ( under 1) and all staff were helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Hotpot dinner was great. We were served AMAZING teas all the time. The views are incredible. Great room size and bathroom. 7/11 within a 10min walk. Bus stop a few minutes walk.

Dinner (hotpot) was great but would recommend introducing other options as it was a bit difficult to eat whilst having a baby. Would have liked healthier breakfast options. Fruits/veg/ non fried food. No laundry facilities

The grounds were beautiful and the views were incredible. The room and common area were light and clean for use. The hot pot dinner offered (Extra charge) was excellent and so also was the breakfast.

The pillows were a bit hard. The climb up to the property was a steep one, so be careful if you are driving and not used to the mountain roads.

Difficult to get to as buses don’t always stop at the stop nearest to the hotel. Water would get from shower area to main bathroom after showering.

It's located mid way up alishan mountain. Convienently having 7-11 located 8 minutes walk.

No daily cleaning which is fine but hopefully trash bin can be cleared out daily since we not suppose to throw the used toilet paper down the toilet bowl

Le personnel est d'un accueil extrêmement chaleureux, l'ambiance est familiale, on a immédiatement ressenti une très bonne énergie en arrivant. L'emplacement est idéal pour du calme et un beau lever de soleil, sans être trop isolé non plus (7 eleven proche). La chambre est grande et confortable, la salle de bain top et tout le logement est très impeccable au niveau de la propreté. Les espaces communs sont également très agréables. Le petit déjeuner, compris dans le prix, est vraiment excellent (buffet à volonté avec des produits divers et de qualité).

The view of Alishan from minsu was fantastic. Our room had a big window that offered unblocked view of the mountains. We liked the common lounge areas, especially the outdoor seats where we could view stars deep into the night. The hosts were very friendly & the food was good. We could also watch sunrise at a spot near the minsu. Another bonus was the clothes dryer installed in the bathroom. Although location is not very accessible, it's worth the stay. Highly recommend!

Great hostess, she was attentive and polite. There's a nearby lookout for sunrise, it was just too cloudy that day. At least we didn't have to deal with the crowd in the Alishan forest area for a sunrise view. Hot pot dinner is enough for 2 people, unless you're a big eater. The red tea is delicious. They sell their home-grown tea too, it's on the lighter side for taste. Breakfast is a giant fried chicken maryland with a few bread options. Espresso machine, soy milk, teas and instant coffee are available during breakfast as well. I would return again if I visit Alishan again in the future.

The toilet that doesn't tolerate toilet paper, unfortunately it's common in Taiwan. Steep drive to the place, but there is a loading area in front of the property so that so that you don't have to drag the luggage up a steep road.

The kindness of the staff - from picking me up from the bus stop so I didn’t have to walk to tracking down and returning cash I accidentally dropped in a taxi. Very welcoming and friendly place.

Nothing, perhaps a comfier couch in the room but I was out a lot so that didn’t really matter.

The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is excellent, and the dinner is truly sumptuous. The staff provides outstanding service throughout your stay

The views are crazy amazing! Especially our room with the view of the mountains. Waking up to it was like a dream. And the food was great! They accommodated to our vegan diet, which is greatly appreciated. I would stay there for a couple more days if I could.

The bathroom smelled like sulfur, so we had to shut the door when not in use. Also, walking to the location was a bit difficult if dropped off by Hotel Indigo (mountain side road with no sidewalk). However, I believe if you ask beforehand hand they can pick you up but I am not sure. They did drop us off to the bus stop which was nice!

It’s the best stay of my entire trip in Taiwan! You can really feel the effort and dedication they put in, the room and bathroom are absolutely pristine and spotless. The staff are super nice, the food is awesome, and the location is conveniently close to the bus stop. The view is great too, especially if you want to catch the sunrise. And you know how most hotels have TV channels that don’t work? This B&B actually has a variety of nice channels, super good for relaxing after a long day of hiking when all you want to do is lie down and watch TV :p

Just do it! This is the most amazing place I have ever stayed in all my travels, and truly has been the highlight of my trip to Taiwan. The people were generous and kind, the food was the best I’ve had in this country (definitely book the hot pot dinner!), and the rooms are charming, comfortable, and impeccably clean. They tell you exactly the best place to watch the sunrise, overlooking the tea plantation just a 2 minute walk down the street. And the seating area on the terrace for both sunrise and sunset are darn near perfect. If I ever come back to Taiwan I’m 1000% staying here again for a longer period of time! To say this place blew me away is an understatement.

This was by far the best stay we had in Taiwan. The view is magnificent and the surrounding tea farms and mountains are nice to explore. The terrace and the common spaces are great to slow down and enjoy the view. What makes this stay truly special is the kindness of the staff. They help with everything, driving us to dinner places and picking us up from the bus stop. You can really see that they care about the place and keep everything beautiful. You can also go to Alishan as a day trip so no need to stay within the national park.

Very cute accommodation, feels warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and professional. Everything seemed clean and well maintained, and the food was pretty good too. Would consider staying here again for sure.
