Reviewed Aug 28, 2026The room was very well furnished and had everything I needed. Amber (staff member) was very friendly and helpful. On the first night, there was rain and a storm, and a tree fell onto the power line to Collingwood, causing a power cut. She came round to check if everything was alright and offered to boil some water on the camping stove so we could make ourselves a hot drink. She also shared her local knowledge and recommended restaurants and places to visit.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Amber was an amazing host, even keeping the laundry open later for us to do all our washing from (a very wet) Heaphy track. The facilities were fantastic. The local community was really neat to just wander around and look at the attractions - awesome museum, and fantastic dinner at the Collingwood Tavern. All in all - thoroughly enjoyed staying here, and highly recommend.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026Although Collingwood is a small town, this motel is located at the centre of the town. Everything is nearby. The famous Farewell Sandspit tour, cafe, general store, wharf and Tavern - all within 2-5 minutes walk. There are small tables in the garden, evening view was quite good. 위치가 좋습니다. 콜링우드 자체가 작은 마을이기는 한데 페어웰 샌드스핏 투어 참가장소는 물론 카페와 바, 슈퍼마켓 모두 걸어서 2-5분 내의 거리에 있습니다. 모텔 정원에서 볼 수 있는 풍경이 꽤 좋습니다.
Not sure if this applies to the all other rooms but the room I stayed, the air conditioner is installed in the kitchen area under the loft. It was nice and cool from downstairs when I turn on the air conditioner but it didn't really work for the upstairs loft. My family stayed in this Motel in February - if it was either December or January, it would feel hotter from upstairs loft. 에어콘이 복층 아래의 부엌에 설치되어 있어서 복층 위쪽으로는 찬바람이 전혀 닫지 않아서 살짝 힘들었습니다. 제 가족은 2월에 여행을 했지만 (남반구라서 계절이 반대) 12월이나 1월 한여름이었으면 많이 더워서 힘들었을 거 같아요

The wifi signal didn't quite reach our room so it was pretty spotty and kept turning off and on
