Il resto ….. beh l’hotel è veramente vecchio, in una via che mette tristezza! Il signore nn parla minimamente inglese e la colazione nn so dove fosse perché nemmeno ci sono state date indicazioni.

The facilities are very basic: no lift, and the shower floor becomes dangerously slippery when wet. Nothing luxurious but I could live with that. What I found much harder to accept was the complete lack of customer focus. Three days before my arrival, I asked to change my dates. The hotel confirmed in writing via direct message that this was OK. Great — problem solved, or so I thought. Despite several follow-up emails from me and even Booking.com contacting them, they never actually accepted or processed the change. At that point, it became clear that the hotel’s idea of customer service is apparently saying “OK” and then doing absolutely nothing about it. I’m happy to lose the $40. It really isn’t about the money. But if a hotel is prepared to lose a customer over $40, that’s their choice. They can lose considerably more than I can. There are plenty of basic hotels. The difference is that some of them actually care about their guests.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Andong is a pretty rundown city, so this hotel is a pretty good deal. The staff was really nice. I was later to check in on time, and the welcoming staff was really nice to accommodate my later arrival. The breakfast was basic, yet the atmosphere was nice and homey.
Nothing in particular, it's just that Andong is a pretty rundown city by Korean standards, so finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge as I did have an expectation that it would be in a bit nicer area

La pulizia non è stata proprio ottimale, diciamo che ho trovato alcuni residui della persona prima di me.. ma vabbè, ho pulito al volo e avanti sempre.
