Prachuap Beach Hotel

It was across the road from the beach with great views from our bedroom window. The room was quite large but the furniture is old and warn. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept well.

The decor could do with updating as with the furniture.

This hotel is only $40AUD per night. It could do either a face lift and a bathroom update. But we were very happy here.

L'ambiance décontractée. Pour vous déplacer demandez à la réception un tuktuk, pour aller a la plage ao manao. Mangez street food, riz au crabe.

Chambre assez petite et vieillotte. Pas de balcon, fenêtres ne s'ouvrent pas. Le soleil tapait fort sur les fenêtres côté Nord en juin. Un peu de bruit provenant de la route en contrebas. Pas de piscine. Pas de bouilloire ni thé/café dans la chambre, mais on peut en demander une à l'accueil.

I love this hotel. I especially love the spacious rooms with ocean views. The hotel is well run, very clean and comfortable

Very good position on beach front with beautiful views. For a very small extra cost we upgraded to upper level with views back to beach and pier. Short walk to pier with restaurants etc nearby. Greek taverna great. Free tea and coffee facilities on ground floor with indoor/outdoor seating. Basic room, comfortable beds, good aircon, good hot water etc. Off street car park. Good breakfast available for small extra cost. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

As expected an older style hotel but met our needs adequately. A newer building with more modern rooms opposite but views not as good.

The location is the prime. On the beach with the perfect view.

Facilities are a bit ole but in good condition.

Lovely spacious room. Bright and clean overlooking the pier and temple on the hill. Great location for the food night market, which is a lovely walk along the prom. Free water refill and snacks available during the day, a nice touch. We had a car and drove to the airforce base to one of the most peaceful beaches in Thailand. We also saw the Langur monkeys there. If you have transport you must do it. The owners of this hotel were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again

Very nice and comfortable place to stay located directly at the waterfront. We had a peaceful relaxing time here. Special Thanks for accommodating our request for the room on the top floor. Our room on the 5th floor was spacious, with the gorgeous sweeping view of the ocean (best part!) and the hilltop temple illuminated at night. Complimentarily morning snack (deep fried dough, bananas) and coffee/tea/coco were available for self-service in the morning (and refillable drinking water was available - thank you for reducing plastic waste!). Walking to several night markets and train station was totally manageable, and finding the hotel's location was easy and straightforward. There are many bicycle rental places around the area at the affordable prices (50-70 BHT, under $3 - per day). We really enjoyed renting the bikes from R_Lee Bike place - their price and attitude were super, and we can highly recommend considering them.

--there was a sewer smell coming out of shower drain (typical issue of many buildings in SE Asia) --the bed mattress felt a bit hard to seep on --would be great to have windows washed from outside for even better view of the stunning ocean :) Also, this was NOT the hotel's fault, but there seem to be agressive dogs around certain areas - be mindful when visiting.

Отель а городе с вытекающими отсюда плюсами и минусами, основная жизнь на набережной и у ночного рынка это около 500 метров от отеля.

Das freundliche Personal hielt ab 4:30 Uhr morgens Kaffee, Tee und Bananen für die Gäste bereit. Von der Terrasse aus konnte ich bei einem Becher Kaffee die schönsten Sonnenaufgänge genießen.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Meer. Die grosse offene Hotelhalle bietet viele Sitzgelegenheiten, ob Sonne, Schatten oder Abend mit internationalen Gästen. Das Zimmer war geräumig, mit Meerblick, die Betten sehr gross und auf den Matratzen haben wir soo gut geschlafen. Das Bad wird täglich mit Utensilien ausgestattet und die Badehandtücher sind riesig und von bester Qualität. Die Klima- Anlage läuft leise. Das Haus ist exzellent Inhaber geführt und sorgt für eine Willkommenskultur. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Cleaning Service ebenfalls. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Wir haben dort einen längeren Aufenthalt verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist nicht weit zum Strand und zu den Märkten. Viele Restaurants ringsum. Gern wären wir noch einen weiteren Monat geblieben, aber unser Visum ließ sich nicht verlängern. Ein Grund mehr, recht bald wieder zu kommen.

Good, large room and view

After arriving and paying I was informed that there would be no electricity during the daytime the following day. This was a planned outage by the electricity company not an unexpected outage. I was not extremely inconvenienced but think in this respect the service needs improving....inform the customer in advance and offer a small compensation as well as the chance to cancel the booking.

Old school hotel but well maintained. Right by the beach/seashore/ esplanade. I stayed on the 4th floor and had ocean view overlooking the pier in the distance. Theres complimentary light breakfast provided everyday with d.i.y coffee, tea and hot cocolate for guest. A nice touch. If you are looking for a cosy hotel which have a cool, relaxing vibe then this is it.

The view was amazing and the hotel is located in a beautiful, peaceful spot perfect for relaxing. Everything was very clean and well-maintained.

Все понравилось. Сначала дали номер у лифта, но по просьбе сразу поменяли этажем выше, за что спасибо персоналу. Как уже писали, на первом этаже утром всегда есть пончики на завтрак, а также чай, кофе, бананы в течении дня. Городок понравился. На набережной взяли в аренду велосипеды на неделю и ездили каждый день на пляж и по округе. На дороге есть "выделенка" для велосипедистов, очень удобно. Номер был на 5 этаже с видом на национальный парк и военную базу. Из окна можно наблюдать за полетами маленьких военных самолетов. На пляже летают прямо над головой, забавно. Пляж длинный. В начале зонтики-лежаки, далее "дикий". Туда удобно заезжать на велосипеде, людей очень мало.

К сожалению, нет балконов, а в душевой вытяжки. Отсюда проблемы с сушкой вещей после пляжа.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The location is ideal being on the waterfront and close walking distance to good restaurants. Excellent shower also.

The location and bay view from Prachuap Beach Hotel are genuinely impressive – that's the main highlight here. The room itself was functional and clean, though quite basic. Internet speed was good. The hotel is a family location.

Small touches like a water kettle in the room would have been appreciated. The room showed some signs of regular use over time.

Der wundervolle Ausblick auf den Tempelberg und das Meer. Lage unweit von Nachtmarkt und nur eine kurze TukTuk-Fahrt zum Ao Manao Strand. Gute Base für Besuche des Kui Buri Nationalparks. Unweit vom Hotel auch Münz-Waschsalons. Gegenüber ein ganz zauberhaftes Café.

I stayed here during the build up of the bad flooding in the South during November ,2025 so weather wasn't great. Quite windy and wet but with a large room comprising 1 whole wall of windows overlooking the sea and esplanade it was a cozy stay in my spacious room with all its amenities. Loved this place. It was perfect.

The room was super comfortable, and the view… wow. Definitely one of my favourite parts of the stay. The staff were so lovely, the bed was super cosy, and the location was perfect.

The room could do with a bit of an update, but apart from that everything was great.

Toller Ausblick im 6 Stock. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal Großes Bad, welches auch trocken bleibt, wenn man geduscht hat. Toll war auch der Service für ein kleines Frühstück: es wird unten in der Rezeption nicht nur heißes Wasser gereicht für Kaffee, sondern regelmäßig auch kleine Bananen und Brandteiggebäck. Ebenfalls kann man Wasser kostenlos nachfüllen, das spart die vielen Plastikflaschen.

the staff doesn't speak english, only one of them but she speak poor english, the elevator was too slow, the room windows doesn't isolate the outside wind noise, the wind was howling all the time, there was no free breakfast it's only paid and what i don't like about it that they stop serving breakfast at 10 am sharp, the parking was on the opposite street and i didn't see a security guard to guard the cars or the motorcycles

Sehr gute Lage direkt an der Promenade. Sehr freundliches Personal. Saubere Zimmer. Gute Betten. Private Parkplätze. Frühstück ist einfach, aber für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Preis/Leistung passt.

Das Zimmer war zwar sauber, aber dringend renovierungsbedürftig, wie eigentlich das ganze Hotel. Ein Wasserkocher im Zimmer und Kaffee/Tee zum selber machen sollte inzwischen, wie in anderen Hotels auch, Standard sein.

We had a super 5 night stay at the Prachuap Beach Hotel. Our room on the 6th floor had a great view over the sea towards the islands and also the town. The location was great, a few steps away from the sea and lovely cafes and restaurants. The staff were kind and welcoming and allowed us to check in early when we arrived from the train. There were free bananas and dough balls available in the lobby each morning along with free coffee. We were provided with bottles of drinking water each day. We loved the town of Prachuap Khiri Kan and the weekend night market is fabulous. The walk up to the temple (Wat Thang Sai) is well worth doing - the views are incredible- and we also enjoyed Ao Manao beach. We cycled (bicycle hire 50 bahts per day from next door to the hotel) round the headland to Khao Tha Mong Lai Forest Park, next to Ao Noi which was fabulous (there’s also a cafe and restaurant there). Altogether, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you Prachuap Beach Hotel.

Great views from the rooms on Floor 5, every room with a view. I was looking south towards Ao Manao. Prachuap is a cool little town, worth a visit and to get away from the hustle of Hua Hin. Rooms had good aircon and bathroom had good hot water. Fridge with water provided. Decent WIFI. Free Coffee and Chinese donuts and bananas downstairs in the open diivng area facing the beach.

Chambre spacieuse , bonne literie , bon p'tit déjeuner ,bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel a l'écoute.. possibilité de louer moto..

Clean hotel, quiet and peaceful with good views and a pleasant location right on the seafront. A simple breakfast is available for free, or a range of cooked items can be ordered for 100baht, and sitting each morning in the cool, open ground-floor breakfast area came to be a really pleasant routine that I looked forward to each day!

The Wifi was unfortunately slow to the point of being unusable, so I relied on my phone data for the duration of my stay.

Property is on the older side but rooms had a fantastic view and was very clean. beds were comfortable. Air conditioner worked well and hotel is close to everything being right on the beach. Markets on Friday night were fantastic as was the mountain temple. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Basic accommodation - could have done with better curtains as room flooded with light early morning. Great view from windows though. Double was 2 singles pushed together so slipped through the middle!! Good value at less than £20 and staff lovely

This is our go to hotel in Prachuab- excellent value, excellent location.

The hotel is very clean and convenient but sadly now needs a little maintenance. Broken toilet seat, blocked sink, bulb gone in shower. However, you can fault the price.
