Reviewed Jun 12, 2026Great hotel with kids facilities! We spent a couple of hours in the indoor playground and the kids love it! There are also restaurants nearby like 15 min walk even tho it's located in a more business like area with office buildings.

Ladies in the Lounge - Susan Qian and her colleagues were excellent and very hospitable. Very good team there!!! Also would like to thank the receiption team, especially - Mr. Wade Xie. He was so much helpful and very professional. Other than being overcrowded at some locations due to DIOR big conference, there is nothing to complain about. Everything was good. Thanks.

Reviewed Mar 23, 2025e Xiamen Shangri-La Hotel truly excels in every aspect. As soon as you enter the lobby, you are greeted by staff members who are all smiling and full of enthusiasm. There are attentive concierges to help carry your luggage, and the check-in process is smooth and efficient, with staff taking the time to confirm your preferences. Manager Carrie is extremely warm and proactive, introducing the hotel's facilities and amenities to me. The lobby manager, Ryan, also solved many problems for me and recommended nearby entertainment options and local delicacies and specialties，Let me feel the sense of home.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2025我經常住宿香格里拉飯店，尤其在其他國家或中國的其他城市，住在廈門香格里拉飯店之後，把我對香格里拉的所以美好印象全部改觀！海景是工地景而且三更半夜還在敲打施工！房間的大小和飯店說明的42m2有出入，就一般的3-4星級的設施及裝修，迷你吧盥洗用品也沒有特點，我花1400元的住宿體驗ČP值真是很低！ 從地下停車場開始到大堂一直到入住房間就感覺不到香格里拉的特殊香氛味道，我家裡還特地收藏了香格里拉香氛組，一切都讓我很失望。

Reviewed Jan 3, 2024The building and the rooms look new. The lobby looks grand and amazing! The rooms are clean and looks relatively new. The cleaning aunty by the name of 陈春梅 was extremely warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and with decent amount of selection. And the kids club was spacious enough and fun to play in. The hotel location was very near the beach if you like the sea, but it is not very near any eateries, though a 5-min taxi can bring to some shopping malls nearby. Overall a great experience!

Reviewed Sep 15, 2023The breakfast was okay. Not much choice for a Muslim like me. But we enjoyed the Miso Soup and Cold Noodle. It was really nice. The hotel allowed me to extend check-out time to 3 pm which was really helpful as our flight was at 730pm.
It would be much better if the staff could communicate in English. It was difficult to communicate here even for easy questions like - "How do I get to the nearest Starbucks?"

Reviewed Jul 3, 2023Breakfast was fantastic, I recommend booking it at the same time as your room. The gym equipment was also fantastic, as were the changerooms. The lobby area and rooms were lovely.
The wifi was terrible. The availability of wine in the lobby bar scarce as was the limited food offering in the lobby. It was a little difficult to communicate to staff in English, but we made the best of it. Challenging was that you could see one of the staff at work, sweating, definitely not well.
