Our double room did not even have a window! Except in the bathroom. The booking stated that breakfast was included. When we came to pay, they said that there was one free breakfast (for the six of us). I was most unhappy and, credit to them, they didn't charge us except for the "extras"

1. Noise. One could easily hear nearby guests who were loud and throwing parties. 2. Bland breakfast.

The peaceful location was wonderful; and the help we received from both Jennifer and Mario (particularly in respect of the car problems we experienced) was really appreciated.

My only comment is that the one room in our chalet had the inverter on the wall - which was both noisy and had flashing green lights - that made sleep quite difficult. Perhaps there is a way to move this, or put it into a cupboard for that room?

I had arranged for a romantic table set up, and was very disappointed when I got to the dining hall to no setup, had to opt for room service. My plans were ruined and I’m not happy at all regarding that.

Breakfast is great Value for money, location is spectacular.

4.5 hours from OR Tambo. 15 mins from Louis Trichardt where it is possible to stock up with provisions if heading on to the Kruger National Park. Good sized room with a fridge freezer. Pleasant bar. Good food. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff and management.

I did not like that when you check out they check if you didn't steel anything. I have been to more than 20 places, that never happened. It was awkward.

The tranquility of the area as well as the restaurant were both superb!!

Nothing really, the room we were given(room 6) was very close to reception so we could hear other guests from the wee hours of the morning

What I enjoyed the most was the tranquility of the place, the staff were very much helpful and very friendly. We got what what booked for. Their room was comfortable and very spacious. I loved it.

What I didn't like was that, can they at least provide microwave for such rooms because we brought food from outside and they needed to be heated a bit. Apart from that all was well

We loved this hotel! The hosts were very accommodating and went out of their way to assist us. Facilities cater for all from families to couples. We will definitely stay over again!

The environment is truly satisfying. I would definitely visit again whenever I feel the need to unwind and connect with nature.

There's no smart TV, and the only available DSTV channels were inaccessible due to an unpaid subscription. Additionally, The furniture and interior design also seemed old and outdated.

Very helpful management and staff and they had gone an extra length to put up tasteful Christmas decorations and made a big effort in their use of them so that it was quite noticeable

Having broken down a few hundred metres from the hotel, we were blown away by manager Mario's willingness to help us out, even in the rain! Forever grateful. And his was just the first of many lovely interactions with the staff, all keen to help out and super friendly. Such a great location in the mountains, wish we had had longer than just one night.

Room 7 is perhaps not the best location for a family room, with the door open, the reception could get a clear view right into the bathroom & with our kids in & out of the room, it felt rather public. My folks had a lovely room tho (room 9), so if you can choose, go for that one. Some quirky features ☺️ The hotel would do well to offer a proper cup of coffee. Instant doesn't quite cut it.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom self catering cottage but when we arrived, the electricity went off. The staff assured us that they had a generator and it would come on. It was never turned on so we were left in the dark with no tv, kitchen appliances to make dinner and breakfast and no air-conditioning or wifi. No explanations were given when we continuously asked. There was no hot water in the morning to shower or have coffee. We had to order breakfast in the restaurant as we still had no electricity or generator yet the main building and rooms all had solar. If it were my establishment, I would have offered my guests the alternative rooms that had solar and wifi.

I was told that the room that I booked was not available, I was given another one next to the kitchen /restaurant.

The water was lukewarm, and there was no hot water. I had cold urticaria, and after bathing, my whole body had hives. The bathroom needs to be renovated
