La literie relativement bas de gamme, et nous avions eu un drap 1 personne pour 2 ce qui n'est pas très pratique.

There is a nice outdoor space, the room is basic but has everything you need. It's quiet and good to sleep, though the air conditioning is old and makes noise so if you are a sensitive sleeper earplugs are a must and you'll still hear it. The beach is a 10 min walk if you follow the road or a few minutes away if you pass through the resort nearby. The staff is really nice and helpful. There is even a (manual!) washing machine

The beds are basic and a bit hard, the Aircon is old and loud.

This hotel is cute & clean and the staff is wonderful. We really appreciated that we could refill our water bottles from from the large drinking water station in the office and another location in terrace area. There is a free clothes washer that operates on a pretty quick cycle, so it was available when we needed it. All the important amenities were in place - a safe, reliable AC, good water pressure, and reliable hot water. It was a great location - very close to many restaurants and just a few minute walk to Alona beach. We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and well-run hotel. We decided to stay longer in Panglao, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked and ended up moving to a different location.

I wish there was a pool... But we knew it didn't when I booked the room.

床上只有一条单子，最好有个薄毯子。空调风扇都不开，夜里还是有点凉。我们晚上到时，值班的前台不够专业，只是草草的介绍一下。第二天又去前台详细的了解情况

It was clean and comfortable. Location is great for tours and the beach. I especially like the shower, it had a filter and good water pressure

The only thing I disliked is the A/C. First you are only allowed to use it while in the room. Which is annoying cause you spend the day outside only to return to a room that is like a furnace. If you specifically pay for a room with an A/C, you should be able to use it how you like And even when it was on overnight (at around 24 Celsius) it would start dripping water and you had to turn it off.

Reasonably quiet given position to Alina beach. Nice size bedroom with good hot shower. Tv was good. Staff very pleasant and cleaned rooms, as required. 1000 pesos deposit returned on day of departure if the room is left ok.

Location is not easy to find and description about being behind Petron was incorrect. Just before the bend to Alina beach the driveway leading to the venu is on the right. If you are in a car it's highly recommend to reverse up the drive as their is nowhere to turn around. However, the staff were very helpful helping you reverse into a spot which is only 2 car spaces. Bed is big but hard mattress and pillows. Good air con with additional ceiling fan. Overall a good value place to stay.

Der Charme der Anlage. Trotz Nähe zur Straße sehr ruhig gelegen. Man hat das Gefühl in der Natur zu sein. Sowohl das Personal als auch die Besitzer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wasser ist immer kostenlos vorrätig und die Möglichkeit Wäsche zu wachen ebenso. Für kleines Geld gibt es auch Waschmittel zu kaufen. Deswegen hat man das Gefühl von Sicherheit. Ab 18Uhr steht für 12h ein Wachpersonal vor der Anlage.

Das WLAN könnte besser sein. Die Verbindung war durchgehend vorhanden, nur gab es vereinzelt Phasen wo es lange Ladezeiten gab. Der Besitzer hat allerdings direkt nachgeschaut und von den Daten war alles in Ordnung. Kein gravierendes Problem aber gut zu Wissen.

Nice location, very close to the centee, easy to get to restaurants, convenience stores. The room is clean. Recommend.

If I have to say, well, probably that the water of the shower was a bit prickling for me due to the strong pressure and narrow flow.

קרוב לחוף ולאיזור חיי הלילה יחד עם זאת נמצא בסמטה שקטה. בעל הבית והעובדים התייחסו אלינו יפה מאוד וסייעו בהסברים. מדובר בחדרים פשוטים הכוללים מזגן t.v מקלחת ושירותים, כל המתחם מטופח נעים ויפה.

Great value for price. Located in center but on small green side street, so its quiet and not far from all activities.

Near to everything , 8 to 10 minutes walk to Alona beach, doesn't bother us at all, that makes a little walking exercise 😉. Quiet enough from the busy city and streets nearby.. Bed is comfortable. Soap, towels,fridge,water boiler are included. Air conditioned works well, their is youtube on the television netflix as well to connect your account. Hot shower available, nice staff, convenient drinks available at reception desk. Just turn on the ceiling fan to avoid mosquito bites on the terrace. You can go at Mcdo or Jollibee for the pancakes breakfast with coffee 😉. Pictures on website are real, no suprises.

Safe is very typical 😁 but better than nothing.

Our hosts were really helpful and always available. The room was clean, cool and comfortable with plenty of space and everything we needed for our stay, including a fridge and very speedy washing machine just outside our door :) It was also nice to have a terrace. The Gecko Inn is in an ideal location, close to the beach, restaurants etc but still really quiet for sleeping. Highly recommend. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our spacious room, good air conditioning, peaceful terrace, good fridge to cool our drinking water and the free washer. The drying rack on the terrace is a great idea. The staff were really lovely and helpful. It was easy to walk to the beach and to restaurants. Very reasonably priced.

Everything was great with the Alona Gecko Inn but we found that the beach wasn't as nice as Boracay.

Das Bett war hart und die Wände sehr dünn. Manchmal laute Nachbaren, die auf der Terrasse laut telefonierten. Hätte mir gewünscht, dass jemand vom Personal interveniert.

I booked this place last minute due to a change of plans. I therefore didn’t have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly. I also appreciate the free use of the laundry machine and water. The room was quite basic,but perfectly located and had everything needed for a short stay. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was the 1,000-peso deposit required before check-in, which made both check-in and check-out somewhat cumbersome. Overall, a good choice at a budget price point!

Die Unterkunft liegt super zentral. Man ist in 5 Minuten am Strand. Zudem kann man von dort aus alles zu Fuß machen. Touren buchen, Roller mieten, Essen gehen… zudem kann man vor der Unterkunft einen Roller gut abstellen. Ich habe diese Unterkunft aufgrund der Bewertungen und der 24h Rezeption gebucht. Zudem ist es mir wichtig immer Support zu bekommen! Vor allem wenn ich alleine reise. Die Zimmer bieten alles was man braucht. Die Dusche ist separiert, was angenehm ist. Die Zimmer sind sauber und werden je nach Wunsch jeden Tag geputzt. Es gibt auch eine Art Waschmaschine. Der Service war so wie erhofft. Kann es nur weiter empfehlen

The location was great if you want to be near the main strip, you couldn't hear much noise from the road in the room. The bathroom was very nice and the room was spacious. The staff were super accommodating and friendly as well

The place is really well located, close to everything in a walking distance, but still quiet. Really good vibes. Room with both AC and fan, good hot shower. Good privacy from the glass door. There’s someone by the entrance 24h, all night, which is really good, I was glad, because if I needed anything, there was someone there doesn’t matter when. Everybody is super nice and friendly.

Just small details that can easily be improved: Didn’t have a place where to properly open by bag (I don’t like to leave it on the floor), but I managed to create one with a chair and one of the small tables beside the bed. The bed was a bit harder then I prefer. The “philippino size” sheets are too small for foreigners and the towels could be better quality, they’re small, hard and rough. Curtains could be a bit longer, touching the floor, because a lot of light comes there.

Excellent établissement ! C’était propre, bonne literie. Le must : une douche chaude avec un bon débit et qui sent bon, un bonheur !! Excellent emplacement : à deux pas des restaurants mais hyper calme et sécurisé Le personnel a été super gentils avec nous. Enfin bonheur pour les backpapers : il y a une petite machine à laver gratuite et beaucoup de place pour faire sécher son linge, en plus abrité de la pluie.

Quelques fourmis, beaucoup de moustiques

ダイビング旅行で訪れましたが、値段の割に良いホテルだと思います。 アロナビーチの中心から近く、飲食店やコンビニが近くにあり便利です。 メインの通りから小道を通ったところにあるので、夜も静かです。 中の小さな庭は毎朝ホテルスタッフが清掃を行って清潔です。 無料の洗濯機がありますが、洗剤は自分で用意する必要があります。 洗濯機は洗濯と脱水が別々の２層式で水道も手動なので、操作は少し難しいです。 残念ながら気になった点が2つ。 （1）ホテルの看板が小さくて分かりづらい。 ダイビングの後にトゥクトゥクでホテルまで帰りましたが、毎回ドライバーがホテルの場所がわからないので聞いてきます。 でも、私たちも詳しい場所は分かりません。 Google Mapを見ながら案内しますが、小道を通り過ぎて何度もUターンする始末。 メインストリートから小道に入る角に看板がありますが、あまり小さくて目立ちません。 （2）ダイビングの際は毎朝ルームキーを預けて出かけました。 夕方ホテルに戻り、フロント行くと現地のホテルスタッフが笑顔で「ハロー」と声がけして鍵を渡してくれました。 とても気持ち良い対応でした。 しかし、一度だけフロントに行くと白人の初老男性が居て、何かの修理作業を行っていました。 いつもと同じように、預けておいたルームキーをお願いしたのですが挨拶も無く、すぐに対応されませんでした。 怪訝な表情で、部屋番号と名前をもう一度確認されて、何の挨拶もなく無言で鍵を渡されました。 あの方はホテルのオーナーなのでしょうか？ まるでアジア人を差別するような嫌な感じを受けました。 他のスタッフが良い反面、残念です。

Super localisation à 5 minutes de la plage d'Alona ! Vous avez des dizaines de restaurants à proximité. La chambre est propre et spacieuse. Le personnel est super sympa.

La clime fonctionne assez lentement mais sinon tout était super

The towels could be a little cleaner I guess. There wasn't a toothbrush. But these were minor things and was completely acceptable.

Fantastic comfortable and clean room in a great location near Alona Beach - it’s calm and peaceful and set back from the main street. The staff are extremely friendly and drinking water is provided for free. There’s a washing machine and space to hang clothes to dry, and the beds were comfortable. We had a great stay and didn’t want to leave!

I loved that they have a washing machine/dryer, we no longer have to deal with wet clothes after going to the beach. Also the free water refill and clothes rack in the terrace is very helpful.

The bidet at room 5 is leaking and it went to the floor, tho it didn't bother us since we just turned it off after every use.

It's clean, conveniently located, reasonably priced and the staff are very friendly and accomodating- great service from them! Thank you heaps.

Blanket is too thin. we had to request for another one; our room's shower head was loose ( it slides from it's base) and TV wasn't operational.

I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to share my feedback. The location was fantastic, and the price was very reasonable, making it a great value option. The hotel staff were consistently nice and friendly, which was a definite plus. The cleanliness of the rooms was also commendable. On the other hand, the towels and bedsheets felt quite worn and rugged. While the air conditioning did work, I was unable to adjust the temperature to my preference. Lastly, although there was a TV in the room, it had a "coming soon" message displayed and was not operational during my stay.

Staff were great! We felt so welcome and they were always super friendly. The place is basic but meets the needs of a hotel.

The place could do with some upgrades. The furniture has glass panels that can slide out at any time and break. The towels are old and hard from too many washes and the mattress isn't great. Broken soap dispensers in the shower. Small things that could/should be fixed but that have been neglected.

Great budget accommodation option, walking distance to Alona Beach, shops & restaurants. Liked that there was a ceiling fan as well if you didn't want the air-conditioning on when you slept. Liked that there was fridge & kettle in room & washing machine on site to use for free. Great that there was a clothes rack outside on the balcony to dry your clothes.

Only improvement suggestion - have curtains that reach the floor to block out outside light.

Perfect place to stay in Alona

-very comfortable stay -perfect location -food establishments nearby -central but quiet -strong water pressure -friendly reception -for it's price, that's an affordable convenience!

Even though this place is near the centre of Panglao, it was very quiet as it was set back from the Main Street. The room was very well thought out and had lots of shelves for storing luggage. The staff were always friendly. The WiFi was an excellent speed. There is a free washing machine to use here (you just need to buy detergent), and lots of space to dry your clothes outside. There are free beach towels for hire. The beds were very comfy. The shower water pressure and volume was excellent.

Good location near the central road; 5-6 min walk to the beach; lots of cafes in the area. Good size room; hot water, aircon, WiFi sufficient for video calls.

One thing which I did not expect was that there was no window in the room. There are glass doors but you mostly cover them with curtains. Staff did not give any info about facilities on arrival; for example, info about laundry room.

Great budget hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. They made me feel very welcome and even sent a message once I left to ask for any improvements. They have everything you need:  Hot shower, AC, fridge,a good hairdryer.and as a bonus a washing machine which you can use for free! As a solo traveller the location was perfect and wasn't too loud at night (keeping in mind how central it is). Good restaurants around and breakfast places which are tasty and open early (at 6AM, in case you have an experience booked, which starts early). Would definitely stay again.

I did like everything!

It's very close to the beach and restaurants, but off the main road, so very quiet. It was handy to be able to wash our clothes here.

The bathroom was always damp, so towels didn't fully dry between uses, and there were some drain flies when we turned up. No tea or coffee provided (but they provided a kettle and mugs). Housekeeping only remade the bed. They didn't change towels or used mugs.
