Wonderful hotel! Everything inside looks new and fresh, as if it was just renovated. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is quite good as well. Highly recommended!

Staff was very friendly from front desk, housekeeping to passing the maintenance people. Everyone was all smiles! The pool was my favorite, very relaxing. Definetely reccomend The Carlisle Inn to everyone for a great & relaxing stay.

We loved everything. Our room was big, spacious and clean. The breakfast was really nice. And we loved the restaurant next to it also.

The place is spotless, conveniently located (quiet), and the staff are both friendly and professional.

I noticed the breakfast options were a bit repetitive—baked oatmeal for three days in a row, and gravy for the biscuits only once. The rest of the food was great!

Room was VERY comfortable, very tastefully decorated and above all CLEAN! Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering us a coupon to eat at der Deutschmann. I personally enjoyed all the pictures of Amish life hanging in the hallways.

Our stay couldn't have been better!

Typical American breakfast. It’s average for most USA hotels, but way below standards elsewhere. The only cooked food is eggs and processed sausage. No vegetarian options except buns and white bread and a bit of fruit. But this is expected in USA where breakfast standards are very low.

Super-clean facilities in the Amish-Mennonite community of Pinecraft, with a very friendly front desk and quiet, spacious, spotless rooms. There’s a simple, soothing vibe the moment you walk into the lobby—a vibe that seems to discourage obnoxious behavior, which is wonderful if you’re looking to relax! This is a hotel that clearly takes great pride in its cleanliness and upkeep. The “fancy” hotels closer to downtown could learn a lot from Carlisle Inn. And despite being a little removed from downtown, Bahia Vista is just a short drive to downtown Sarasota.

Rather uninspired breakfast maybe a step above Holiday Inn Express.

Exceptional service from the moment you arrive until you leave. Excellent cleanliness, excellent value, excellent comfort. This hotel’s proximity is in an ideal location just 20 minutes from the Sarasota airport, close to major roads/ highways, all beaches, shopping (UTC), restaurants, and downtown Sarasota without all the tourist congestion! On site includes: breakfast buffet every morning and fresh baked cookies in the evening, outdoor pool opened early until 10pm, 24 hr fitness gym, business center with internet and printer access, laundry in the hotel for guests (buy a $1 detergent pod at the front desk!), umbrellas for those downpours, spa (get a 1 hr massage at the chiropractor office in their plaza on premise), or go for breakfast/lunch/dinner at their famous Amish restaurant “Der Dutchman”—it includes a cafe, bakery, takeout, and gift store!!! Don’t forget to check out the handcrafted Amish furniture at their store in the plaza also! Janet, the hotel manager, will accommodate all your needs! Everyone in the hotel treats the guest with exceptional service, including the front desk (Thank you, Misa) to the breakfast staff (thank you, Misako for your smile and hellos every morning!). This hotel is highly recommended for families, events, and extended stays. Thank you, Janet and all staff for making our stay feel like home! We appreciated your exceptional kindness and generosity and hope to return in the future.

The place is beautiful! Is quiet and it really gives a feeling of peace.

This hotel was one of the best stays I’ve had. Stayed here for 4 days with my daughter. The beds were very comfortable the bathroom was very clean and the room was huge and very nice! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good and a great way to start the day. There is a restaurant and bakery next door which is owned by the same hotel owners. Everything is delicious from the restaurant to the bakery! The beaches are about 20-30 min away….Siesta Key, St Armonds, Anna Maria Island, shops, etc. The big plus is there is plenty of parking and it is free! We definitely will be back!

Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The hotel is immaculate, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a wonderful evening in Sarasota. Having Der Dutchman right next door was an added bonus—we enjoyed a delicious dinner before attending a concert at the Van Wezel. This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable overnight getaways we've had in years. We highly recommend the Carlisle Inn to anyone looking for outstanding hospitality, comfort, and a convenient location. We can't wait to return!

Maybe one of the cleanest hotels I have ever been to.

Everything was truly perfect; we’ve never slept so well in a hotel—the beds were amazing. The staff are extremely friendly, and you feel warmly welcomed. There is a souvenir shop and an on-site bakery right next to the hotel. The cookies from the bakery are a dream! The place is beautifully appointed, and the rooms are very spacious. We will definitely be back.

This hotel is so peaceful, with friendly and kind people serving at their best. Cleanness, organized and pleasant atmosphere characterize Carlisle Inn hotel. Close to many attractions and beaches (22 minutes). I definitely recommend this hotel which I’ve stayed over four times.

This was probably one of the cleanest hotels I have been to in my life. The staff takes great care in presentation, cleanliness, and friendliness.

I liked everything. People should know that it is a dry hotel, so if you are someone that likes an adult beverage, you would have to go slightly down the road as this hotel does not provide that. It did not reflect negatively on our stay at all! The food was amazing here as well as the staff as mentioned before.

Lovely stay at the Carlisle Inn. The rooms are spacious and pristinely clean. The front desk and all staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area was very well kept and there was a corn hole game available to play. Also games could be checked out at the front desk. Will definitely stay here again when in Sarasota.

Erg mooi hotel met heel vriendelijk en beleefd personeel. De koekjes waren erg lekker die elke dag aangeboden werden. Zelf waffels maken bij het ontbijt is iets leuks en aparts.

Op zondag alles dicht rondom het hotel, zou ik wel melden, maar heeft niet tot verstoring gezorgd.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. From the minute we walked in, the staff was courteous and helpful. Complementary homemade cookies are available in the late afternoon/early evening. The hotel is located basically in the middle of Sarasota, making it a perfect location to explore any part of the city you choose. Spotlessly clean with a nice lounge area, workout facilities, and a pool. Included small breakfast buffet in the morning eliminating the need to buy the first meal of the day out (although their Amish restaurant in front of the hotel has an amazing breakfast buffet too). Cozy beds, large bathrooms, and plenty of space to spread out while you’re there.

Una grata sorpresa. Hemos viajado bastante y sinceramente nunca habíamos estado en un hotel tan impecablemente limpio. Desde las habitaciones hasta los pasillos y espacios comunes, todo estaba perfectamente mantenido y cuidado. Nos gustó mucho el estilo del hotel: un diseño clásico americano, sencillo, cálido y con una decoración justa y elegante, sin excesos. Se nota que hay una gran atención al detalle y al mantenimiento general de las instalaciones. Los productos de baño también nos sorprendieron para bien. El shampoo, acondicionador y crema corporal eran de muy buena calidad, con ingredientes naturales y un aroma muy agradable. El desayuno nos pareció correcto y completo, con todo lo necesario para empezar bien el día: waffles, huevos, panes, café y otras opciones básicas pero bien presentadas. Viajamos en familia (dos adultos y dos niños) y nos sentimos muy cómodos durante toda la estadía. Queremos destacar especialmente la amabilidad del personal: en dos oportunidades pedimos leche para nuestra hija fuera del horario de desayuno y nos la facilitaron sin ningún inconveniente. Todos fueron siempre muy cordiales, atentos y serviciales. Aunque no llegamos a probar el restaurante del hotel por falta de tiempo, nos comentaron que ofrece comida casera y muy buena, por lo que nos quedó pendiente para una próxima visita. La ubicación también es excelente para recorrer las playas de la zona. Nosotros visitamos Siesta Key y Lido Key, ambas hermosas, y se encuentran aproximadamente a 10-15 minutos en auto. Definitivamente lo recomendaríamos a cualquiera que busque una estadía tranquila, cómoda, impecablemente limpia y con una atención realmente destacable en Sarasota.

Everything… I am a frequent traveler and this hotel has exceeded my expectations in all areas. I have never felt as welcome in any hotel and the sense of cleanliness made me felt that I was home .. loved it!!!

Extremely clean. The entire facility looked like it was brand though. I was shocked to hear that has been there for eight years. I highly recommend a Carlisle Inn to anybody.

The hotel is extremely well run. It is exceptionally clean and d fresh. The rooms are large and comfortable. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. On the property is an excellent restaurant complex with full service restaurant, yummy bakery and a beautiful gift shop.

The location might not work for everyone. It is a little off the beaten path. However it is actually centrally located for shopping, restaurants and the beaches. The front desk will help you find and get you to wherever it is you would want to go.

Sehr schönes, sauberes und großzügig geschnittenes Zimmer. Das Personal war immer nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel hat auch ein gut ausgestattetes Gym! Gibt nichts negatives :) Um die Ecke gibt es ein gutes Restaurant (Der Dutchman).

Fabulous hotel, the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming and the hotel is spotless. The room was lovely and big and had everything we could wish for. In addition, we were celebrating my daughter's recent remission from Cancer and also my birthday and they left us some treats to celebrate which was a lovely and thoughtful thing to do and was very much appreciated.
