El hotel es muy lindo y muy bien ubicado para esa hermosa ciudad. Ambientes cómodos y muy buen lounge.

El tema está con parte del personal que es bastante parco y con poca voluntad de comunicación para gente que no habla inglés. No entiendo porque alguien de conserjería o valet parking, que deberían tener algo de capacitación para esos puestos, no intenta comunicarse con gente de habla hispana, parecería que no les importa demasiado.

The staff was polite and professional. The facilities were clean. Rooftop pool and bar. Breakfast available on property. Restaurant and bar on premises. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was located within walking distance of restaurants, market and entertainment.

Bed seemed a bit smaller than the promised King... Super light on the bedding, quality seemed a bit reduced from our last stay at Aloft. Please, get the refrigerator out of the bathroom area!!

Our room was in the corner looking out at a wall. That was depressing. There was only one chair in the room to sit on and it was uncomfortable.

Me gustó mucho su ubicación, al lado de Main street y de Bayfront park. A 10’ en coche de Lido beach y 20’ de Siesta Key. El hotel en sí está muy bien. Es moderno, las habitaciones amplias, camas muy cómodas y la zona del baño está muy baño está muy bien. Me gustó mucho el gran gimnasio que tiene. El área de la piscina bastante bien cuidada, lo que es la piscina muy limpia. Abajo en recepción, tienen para jugar al billar y juegos de mesa. Y ofrecen desayuno, aunque es a la carta y podría mejorar la oferta. Que hay lavandería para huéspedes de autoservicio.

No me gustó, la actitud de una de las chicas que atendía en recepción, mi inglés es no es muy bueno, pero estando de cara al público no puedes poner malas caras. El resto si que tuvieron una buena actitud. Tampoco me gustó que no hicieran la limpieza de la habitación, aunque te dan toallas de cambio. He de decir que estuve dos noches, igual con más si la hacen (no lo sé)

The doors make a lot of noise. There were people entering their room at 1-2am and you can hear the slam of the doors. Also during my last night there were kids running up and down the hallway upstairs. The pool is on the 8th floor so that was annoying

The pool and Main Street

Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal. Die Main Street ist nur wenige Blocks entfernt, somit sind Restaurant und Bars in nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen.

Leide keine Parkpätze vorhanden. 25 US für eine Nacht ist teuer. Zudem war am morgen beim Auschecken nur eine Person da, die die Autos aus der Garage holte. 20 Min Wartezeit.....

Good location, not far from downtown where all the bars and restaurants are. Friendly staff; clean and tidy.

The room felt a bit impersonal; the fridge was simply placed under the bathroom sink. Parking is only available via valet for $25 plus tax extra per day. Breakfast wasn't included either, which isn't what I'm used to when staying in the US; a continental breakfast is usually always included. On top of the listed price, there is a city tax and an additional stay tax. Extra costs that aren't apparent upfront. That adds up and has made the stay more expensive than planned.

llegando, problema con el vallet parking un señor con muy mala actitud, luego el front desk no nos dieron la información completa acerca de la modalidad para los desayunos lo que causo una molestia el ultimo día de estadía , la piscina amaneció vacía el domingo sin previo aviso , tuve que pedir hablar con la mánager de front desk para que ella muy amablemente me resolviera la situación con los desayunos.

Es un buen lugar como para tomarlo como punto de partida para conocer los cayos y playas cercanas. Las instalaciones del hotel son muy cómodas!

Disappointing experience. Terrible customer service and hidden fees.

I rate this hotel 2 stars only because the property itself is okay, but the customer service is absolutely terrible. We booked 4 months in advance for 3 adults and an 11-year-old child through Booking.com (a platform I use regularly). The reservation clearly stated a total of $674.27 and included breakfast. Our issues started before we even walked through the door. On our way there, I noticed the hotel had already charged my bank account $319. When we arrived around 4:00 PM (after the 3:00 PM check-in time), we were greeted by an extremely unfriendly front desk agent. When we questioned the unauthorized charge, they rudely snapped that it was for the first night—even though we hadn't checked in yet. They eventually refunded it, but then charged us $704 for the stay instead of the agreed $674.27. We decided not to argue further just to avoid more unfriendliness. To make matters worse, on our last morning, we went to get breakfast before checkout. Another arrogant front desk employee told us we were only entitled to 2 breakfasts. When we explained we were a family with children and that this wasn't what we were told, they finally ordered 4 breakfasts, but with an incredibly condescending attitude. It’s not about the money; it’s about transparency and respect. The front desk staff is arrogant and rude. Additionally, they never cleaned our room during our stay. Very disappointing. I do not recommend it.

The location is excellent. It’s exceptionally clean. I loved its free pet friendly policy and the very friendly & reasonable valet parking. The amenities were nice with a roof top pool/pool bar & comfy chairs & cabanas.

There wasn’t much for dining or quick bites. The pool bar should be open more often.

The lighting in the lobby is pretty. The roof top pool is nice at night.

No parking other than two hour parking on the street then get towed. The only option at the door is 25 per day valet parking. Then I watched them park the car and the parking is in the same building as the hotel. I believe charging to park is just a money racket, so prepare to pay 25 per day to park because that's the only option. The room is tiny, think NYC apartment style. There's no overhead lights in the room just a bar light above the headboard. You have to use your keycard to use the elevator while that seems like a nice amenity it gets annoying when you make multiple trips out a day.

I liked the location

We went to use the rooftop pool and couldn’t even find a towel. There was trash, overflowing, and the bar was closed.

Well located downtown, this feels like a new hotel. We love a good boutique hotel but this was not it. It felt like they were trying too hard to be hip, and failing. Possibly because it is part of a corporate chain, the personality feels forced? For $300/night we had high expectations for a level of comfort to be offered. Let me count the ways we were disappointed: No luggage racks. Thin walls - we could clearly hear hallway conversations, the ice machine across the hall, and trash truck sometime during the night (we were on the 3rd floor). The HVAC system was noisy and went off and on all night long. No nightlight in the bathroom - it was either completely dark or blindingly bright. We will not be staying in any more Alofts based on this experience.

Das Hotel scheint relativ neu zu sein und ist schön gemacht. Aber man hört alles im Zimmer von den Nachbarn neben und oben. Jeden Wasserhahn oder sogar Lift oder was das für Geräusche waren. Aber das lausigste ist das sie bloss nur jeden zweiten Tag die Zimmer machen. Wenn ich 4 Sterne buche, generell ins Hotel gehe dann erwarte ich dies. Sonst kann ich auch mit dem Camper reisen. Schade für das schöne Hotel.

We stayed a week. Trash emptied, towel exchange, coffee setup, etc. only every other day. Not adequate!! We had to beg! Hotel advertises free breakfast but not true we paid $8. Plus for breakfast which was just sandwich, not great! Not convenient to the rest of Sarasota. Went down for what was supposed to be ice cream available to guests but cook was too busy to help us. Problem with management, not cook as he was alone to cook and serve ice cream.

Stayed at Aloft Sarasota 5 nights over St. Patricks Day. Great stay; beds comfortable and location very walkable to bayfront park and Main Street restaurants and bars. Only drawback was the hard doors to pull shut that made a lot of noise….but that was offset by the rooftop pool and bar and the billiard table and soft serve ice cream machine in the lobby. Travel hint: snag a Peanut Butter cup from the breakfast jellies for later and mix with the ice cream that night.

Alexis at the front desk was incredibly rude. Her lack of customer service skills ruined the trip. I booked a room with breakfast. When I came down to inquire about the breakfast, she told me I had to pay. I explained that I booked a room with breakfast and showed her my booking including breakfast (the room came at an additional charge for breakfast). Her reply? "Other people who paid the same rate as you got breakfast and it shows up on my screen as breakfast included. Yours doesn't, so you will have to pay." I called the booking website who confirmed I did book with breakfast and they called Alexis to tell her I did book the room with breakfast. Alexis confirmed that and said "so do you want your breakfast now?" I said I don't want breakfast anymore but I didn't appreciate the way she spoke to me. I told her she could have told me, have a cup of coffee, try reaching your booking agent to resolve the discrepancy, or even recommended good places to have breakfast, but instead she told me other people paid what I did and got breakfast! I told her that was not good customer service and there's other ways she could have handled the situation without even giving me breakfast (which I had already paid for!) Being nice is free. Alexis told me, she wasn't rude, she won't apologize and I can go ahead and complain to her managers, they will always back her up, she has been here a long time....more rudeness! It was astounding. I paid $324 to be treated horribly. Forget the dark dreary small rooms, forget the 'city view' of another office building looking right at you, forget the uncomfortable bed that had me wake up with back pain in the night. I could have dealt with any of that and not minded, but rudeness is totally uncalled for. I left without breakfast. I just joined Bonvoy but I'll never again stay in this brand of hotels because customer service is their last priority. I typically stay in Hamptons for half the price and get excellent service. Lesson learned.

Breakfast set up. Plastic covered sparse menus and quality of food not good. For a hotel that is not by any means cheap, a decent breakfast restaurant is I think expected.

We liked the8th floor because of the pool and whirlpool; however, we did not use either because it was a little to cold.

The mouse on the PC was difficult to work with because you had to press hard on the clicker to make it work.

The location was really nice and very spacious despite in a tight space.

This place is complete annoying. They wouldn’t let me see a menu in my room after I’d driven nine hours (I have a lot of migraine food triggers, and I didn’t want to waste half an hour going down there if there was nothing but, you know, bar food on the menu), so I said I wouldn’t give them any more money if they had to be unreasonable. The rooms are all right but nothing special. Parking is ridiculous. You have to valet, which means you can’t get back to your car while you’re there. We’d have been better off at a Holiday Inn. I will admit that they have a pretty cool-looking music player thing (I doubt it sounds good), but it doesn’t work with anything but an aux cord or Bluetooth, and I can’t get it to turn on. The TV is also appears better than a Holiday Inn, but I’m still working on working it.

Die Klimaanlage in dem Zimmer war so laut, dass wir sie ausschalten mussten. Zudem kamen vom Gang laute Lüftungsgeräusche ins Zimmer.... also war dieses Zimmer im 2 Stock tatsächlich nur laut. Der Ausblick war auf eine Mauer, okay, das hätten wir toleriert. Aber vielleicht sollte man vorab wissen in welcher Etage man das Zimmer bekommt, dann kann man unter Umständen nochmal 20 Euro draufzahlen und man bekommt einen "netteren" Ausblick.

While the hotel has a good location, they are really cheap about what you get for 300 plus a night. Loud air conditioning Alarm clock goes off a 4 am You’d think by now Marriott would know how to make a bed by now but, but they use all these sheets that come all apart, and it’s tucked so tight the bedding only reaches your chest. In room coffee tasted crappy No bikes available Food choices poor, don’t plan on breakfast Pool wasn’t warm Can hear the person in the next room coughing. Every other day housekeeping.

I was aware that the hotel would be modern and minimalist but the reality was that the place is stark and municipal and the newly renovated room I was given was dirty. The air conditioner unit was extremely noisy and I was woken up at 2 am by drunks in the corridor. The breakfast menu has a handful of unappetising microwaved items and really poor quality. Aloft is not a boutique hotel . It is a sub standard motel and my night there ruined the start of my vacation. The ice bucket in my room represented the hotels style perfectly; cheap and tacky with a rusty screw on the bottom. But the management seemed shocked that I was unhappy. Pleas think carefully before booking here.

The hotel is hard to spot. Our GPS said we arrived but never saw the sign. A woman walked us to the entrance, and the bartender. She was totally unprofessional, which I let the Co. know in a separate review.
