My stay here was wonderful. Everything just great. I will be willing to make this my place to go when I go to Wilmington. The roof bar was. exceptional. Great stall,great bartender.

Parking was hard to find and expensive

The room was a very generous size and had a nice view of the river. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to get a good night's sleep. We did not receive housekeeping one day but it wasn't a huge issue.

Not the hotel's fault but we were very disappointed to find out after the fact that our stay did not qualify towards our Hilton rewards points because we used a "third party" (Booking.com). Very frustrating as our stay took place over a holiday weekend and was rather expensive. Would have stayed elsewhere if we had known this was going to be the case.

We arrived early but the front desk offered to keep our luggage as well as get us in 3 hours early. It was close to the River Walk which is the only attraction we wanted to see.

I didn’t like having to pay for parking but I know this is something most hotels do.

Great location with easy access to anywhere in Fredericksburg! (Right next to Wegman's- which was nice!)_. Suitable amenities for a travelling family with kids, nice breakfast, great staff at the reception- very curtious and professional.

We were given a room with a view of a parking lot, the door was difficult to open and close it kept getting jammed, we would charge for parking in the parking garage when that was the only option to park. The TV in the room had issues with the color and kept going dark.

Great location, amazing staffed who upgraded us for free and gave us a room with a river view. Very spacious rooms with a living room completely separate from the bedroom. The price also includes two complimentary cocktails and the breakfast is great. And obviously great location downtown

Never a luggage cart available when u check out. Every time we are here it's the same.

There was not an explanation of the daily parking fee of $29. I didn't know anything about that fee until I checked out. An extra unexpected expense of $58.00. That information should definitely be in the details of the booking and explained clearly upon check-in.

It was a large and open hotel with a lovely modern design and very clean. The room was fabulous! The hotel room was modern and clean and very well designed for a family stay with plenty of storage and a little kitchen area. The laundry room was also excellent value for money and very clean. The drinks reception was a lovely touch.

Our AC kept resetting to HEAT every time we would go to sleep. We woke up 2 or 3 times to reset. We were only there 1 night after a long, fun beach day.

Excellent customer service. Room was very nice, clean, and bigger than anticipated. The manager reception was a nice plus to the hotel.

The only thing that bothered me was the sheet and comforter on the bed had the tags at the top so you had to constantly turn it under to not have a tag in your face.

My stay here was phenomenal. I had a great experience and the breakfast was good. Even with valet, I had a great experience with Leo. He always assured that my car was readily available.

Location, the interior of the hotel lobby and restaurant floor, the roof top bar and the complimentary drinks in the early evening were great.

Did not love the couch in our room ( not comfortable). Also, the bathroom door rubbed on the floor then slammed shut when you tried to close it.

Room was dirty their were hairs in the bath tub. Microwave and refrigerator were filthy. There was 2 types of medication on the floor. The bathroom floor was dirty as well as the bedroom floor. Waited for housekeeper to come finally went to find housekeeper asked for the vacuum and recleaned the room myself. I stay at Embassy solely for the breakfast it was terrible. I didnt even go after the 1st morning. I was really disappointed in the stay based off of the cost and what Im used to at Hilton hotels.

My room was room 202 and my view for four nights was terrible all I could see is boiler room type pipes ( big white pipes) terrible for what I paid for . My room wasn’t the cleanest upon arrival and the refrigerator didn’t get cold .. air conditioner went a little warm as well . One vent blew out warm air . I also requested a higher floor because I always like to stay on the higher floors but yet I got the second floor ..young man cooking in the kitchen wasn’t friendly at all can work on customer service..

Room was nice, clean and spacious. Staff was welcoming & friendly.

Our room wasn't ready until 5pm, an hour after check-in, they gave us free parking at the deck, which was fine. Our room was 76 degrees when we got in, we turned the thermastat down to 68 - to cool it off while we went to dinner, Yes, we knew it was 100 degrees but we were on the 3rd floor not the top floor and we were on the side that the was not getting the sunset, We get back to the room and the tempature has not moved, we called the front desk they sent maintance, the first maintance person reset the unit, and said if it didn't start to cool down to call back. We called again at 9:30pm still on 76, and they sent maintance again, this time the person did the same thing and said he would be back shortly, he was gone about 15 minutes and came back to the room and saw the tempature still had not changed and did something else and said he would be back again. We waited again, and he never came back, by this point we were all tired, it is after 11:30pm and ready for bed. We knew that the hotel was full and there was no way we could get another room. When we woke up the temp had finally gotten down to 73, and we assumed it was because there was no sun. When we discussed with the front desk at check out, he told us should have been happy with 73 because it was so hot outside. (Not the nicest person at the desk) I had to explain again that we called twice for maintance and the room was still at 76 when we went to bed. Even though I felt like they should have done more, they gave 10% back. (Oh and just a note, that this room has an access to the roof through the closet and you can see the outside light all the way around the door, so it isn't sealed well either...and heat could come in that way as well.) I have stayed here before and loved it, that's why I stayed again, and brought family, this time I was disappointed.

The happy hour and the river view

I was first in a room on the 5th floor, and the bathroom didn’t look clean, look like blood was splashed on the sink, floor and cabinet. So I requested to be moved and then they moved me to a room down the hall and the mattress was soft and worn out in 518. I hope they replace that mattress and box spring after this review

Very convenient to everything, right on the river walk, about 20 minutes from Wrightsville Beach. We will definitely stay here again

Absolutely nothing

The hotel was in great condition and so well decorated. The location is perfect, closed to the main downtown attractions and in a quiet area by the river.

We left clothes in a drawer & realized when we got home & immediately called the front desk. We were told that housekeeping doesn’t check the drawers (which is concerning for cleaning purposes alone). I was told they would call me back an hour later, no one ever called us. I have called every day & then told room was already occupied so they couldn’t check until guest left (3 nights later). Now they finally checked & of course no clothes. Realize it was our fault for forgetting the clothes but the way everything was handled was very disappointing

Leo the valet was so very helpful!! He didn’t hesitate to help me with carts and all of the items I had to get to the ballroom. Awesome!!!

Leo with Valet was EXCELLENT we appreciate the great service

very clean and friendly. Housekeeping lacked in that I had to call someone to give new coffee pkts and towels, as well as empty trash.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The property was spotless and the staff were friendly throughout our visit. A special shoutout to Leo from the valet team — he was amazing. He helped us load and unload our bags from the car and always had it brought around quickly. That kind of attentive service made a real difference to our trip. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service and a clean, well-kept property!

I went to a business seminar at the Embassy Suites on June 19th. The valet named Leo was very kind and professional. He checked my car in, and even gave me a lunch recommendation to their Steam restaurant, and yes, the food was delicious and my waitress was very welcoming, especially to one person at a table for 4 which I truly appreciate! Leo, the valet, went out of his way to be helpful and friendly. After my meal, and my seminar in the hotel, Leo was my valet who remembered my name and brought my car right up to the front door. I was quite impressed and pleased with Leo's professionalism!

We were running late for our seminar and noticed valet parking was available. I wanted to express our gratitude for the incredibly positive and helpful greeting we received from Leo, our valet attendant. This was our first impression of the hotel, and it was extremely inviting. We would definitely attend again.

I pick up and drop off laundry for hangers cleaners. The valet person Leo was very helpful. As soon as I pulled up he was asking if he could help me with anything. He was super nice, helpful and all smiles

Less Safe: They have rooftop bar that is open to public. If people come from the parking, they pass through the hotel pool and gym, it was a bit uncomfortable to share the traffic with the strangers especially if you have small kids. And it's getting worse that the eleveator to the bar is on the same place with the elevator to the room. These strangers can easily go the room floors without even being noticed. Another thing I didn't like is the parking. They charge about $30 a day for self parking to the garage owned by the city. The city charges $15 a day if you decide to buy a ticket instead of using hotel card. I find it unnecessary ripping off customers.

Pillows were horrible and it made it very hard to sleep. They were too small and none satisfied me. The parking garage was not horrible but there’s no signage. Load in and out was hard

A very well maintained Hilton brand hotel; it's location on the northern end of the river walk made for a short walk to the heart of Wilmington's historic district. There is a parking fee, with the option of self parking or using the slightly more expensive valet parking. We used the valet and didn't experience any delays when requesting our vehicle. With a very friendly staff at the front desk, our check in went smoothly. The first things we look at when we enter a hotel room is the lighting. A well lighted room reveals both the good and the bad of the cleanliness and quality. Our well lit room was flawless, and an added bonus of multiple electronic charging ports. The free breakfast buffet offered a number food choices. You can also have a cooked to order omelette, which was a disorganized operation. This is definitely our go to hotel during future stays in Wilmington.

Complimentary drinks, and the breakfast was delicious. Omelet was the best. Friendly courteous check in and out. View was excellent.

The beds in room 606 were horrible. Too soft & I rolled into the middle. I woke up stiff every day. There was a funny smell and I woke up with a sinus headache, so I assume there is mold. The shower temperature was hard to regular. I ordered room service and the soup was luke warm, which was ok since they gave me a plastic spoon. I had dinner in the restaurant and the chair was full of crumbs, which the server let me brush off myself. The table was sticky from what appeared to be syrup spilled at breakfast and I squashed a bug. I expected more from a restaurant that was $20+ per meal. I will say order bread, it is excellent. The toast points were hard and burnt. To top everything off, I was billed $30 more then what was the receipt, so now I need to file a dispute. Lastly, I expected a nice patio facing the river, but the patio was small and faced condos, Fortunately, the building next door next had really comfy chairs that faced the water. So that was nice.

The location was great and the staff was friendly.

Housekeeping was substandard. The supplied conditioner was empty. After the second day, I had to call front desk. Our coffee and supplies were not refilled each day. The glasses were not replaced with fresh ones. Our breakfast dishes were left in the sink the entire stay. The only thing housekeeping did was empty our garbage cans each day.

Had a wonderful experience checking in and checking out. Our valet Leo was extremely friendly and very helpful! I had very heavy equipment to offload and reload and he didn't hesitate to assist in this endeavor. It was very nice to let someone lighten my load literally!

Wow, what a place. We stopped in after visiting the Battleship North Carolina. No reservation, but wasn't a problem at the time. Clerk was very friendly and helpful. Also let us know about a couple other sites to see nearby. Room was huge for what we paid. Very nice sleep. Room was clean and in good order. Breakfast was awesome. Would stay here again if in the area.

Location is central in Wilmington. Located near the Riverwalk, Live Oak Pavillion many restaurants and downtown. Pretty much everything is walking distance. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The room was spacious and had all items needed, like in room fridge, iron, blow dryer. Valet parking is available. There is also a rooftop bar and restaurants. While there, ate at the 2nd floor restaurant the food was amazing and the drinks were very good.
