Prachtige ligging en uitstekend restaurant. Heel fijn personeel.

An excellent hotel. Really stunning location for views across the bay, also excellent for exploring the coastline. Friendly helpful staff Lovely large rooms with clean well equipped bathrooms Fantastic restaurant
Car park needed better signage on arrival
Location
Nothing stood out
Room was good beds fine good nights sleep. Bar was ok
270 for 2 people for one night way over priced. Food in the restaurant was awful, a steak you could hardly chew and arrived with some odd stuff on the plate like some sort of tomato puree. The chicken dish with mash the mash had to be sent back as it was cold then a bone in the chicken. Breakfast wasn't much better cold sausages cold potato bread. Over all not worth 360 pounds yes you guest it 90 for dinner. Would not recommend.
The view from the first floor Junior Suite was magnificent. We were very lucky with the weather and thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the very comfortable recliners and relaxing whilst admiring the views. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
The smell of cooking in the corridor outside our room. Thankfully not a whiff inside the room.
Everything was perfect! We arrived early and enjoyed lunch at a window table with exceptionally wide sea views. Our room was ready early as requested and exceeded expectations. Beds were very comfortable and I slept really well. Quiet room. No noise whatsoever. Nice touches such as a teapot as well as coffee machine, hot chocolate and crisps and biscuits! Bathroom extras were plentiful including bath salts and a face cloth which is rare these days! We also had dinner and breakfast which were excellent .
Everything was perfect!
Very good facilities with a fantastic view to the bay honoring its name. Staff is very nice and the restaurant serves great food Included breakfast has very good options
Nothing
The property has a beautiful setting overlooking the sea . It is the perfect location for exploring the coast . All of the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Will definitely be returning
Nothing
Excellent bedroom with a beautiful sea view. Staff were very pleasant. Great breakfast served from 7.30am until 10am.
The great food, beautiful location and nice staff.
No view from our room...just a wall.
Loved the views and the restaurant! Rooms were clean and comfortable! Staff on the whole were lovely!
The stair carpet needs cleaning or changing!!
It is expensive but worth the money for the view. Food in the hotel was excellent.

Is this the best place to eat in Northern Ireland. Quite possibly. The views are excellent. The staff lovely and the food in general excellent. We eat here maybe 2-3 times a year and are never disappointed. Weve been coming here for about 20 years and come all the way from Scotland annually to eat here and stay locally. My only observation was the steak this time. I advise the menu is changed. It was advertised with fries. The fries were basically chip sticks. You would need to order a side of actual chips. The tomato paste doesn't work. A portobello mushroom and some vine tomatoes is much better. Nice the sauce is included though. Sorry hope it doesn't come accross as panickity, just honest feedback. I had the Thai Curry the 2nd night and it was perfect. The spring onions work really well with the rice. Delicious. Special shout out to our friend Jon Jon who has looked after us for years and makes the best Espresso Martinis. See u next year !!
The room we stayed in was great. Very spacious and comfortable with a great view of the wee harbour. Staff were very friendly and polite and the food was fantastic. What's not to like. Would recommend to anyone.
Fantastic location, wonderful restaurant friendly, efficient staff , comfortable house just across from hotel
It was a three bed house with only one bathroom , which is fine for a family but not do good for two couples , upstairs lovely with nice views .
The room was wonderfully furnished and the view from the balcony was second to none. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore the area. The location was very central to all activities in the area.
Nothing, everything was as expected and more.
location
breakfast nothing to do no activities in the hotel
On a recent visit home with some friends who were visiting Northern Ireland for the first time we had a large family group for dinner . The food, service and standards were all excellent . The Bayview is beautifully decorated and the view from the dining and bar area is truly stunning. A must visit if you are in the area . Thank you Bayview staff for a memorable evening .
Great views, although quite remote without a car
Good location for views
Location and space
Cot provided was very hard (ended up using our own) and no bedside lamps in one of bedrooms
Everything about the BayView is fantastic. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
Can't think of anything.
Family took us for 50th wedding anniversary Staff looked after us most excellently - food and service 1st class - thankyou Trevor and you team!!!
The Bayview Hotel is a gem. You cannot beat the location, friendliness, and accommodations. We only had time for a one night stay, but I wish it could have been more. Our view was incredible. The breakfast was fantastic, as was the bar scene. I highly recommend the Bayview Hotel.
No complaints.
Vers (!) fruitsap. Verder was het zeker OK.
The place its self was beautiful
My partner and I just spent two nights at the Bayview Hotel as a stopover on our road trip through Northern Ireland to visit the Giant’s Causeway. What can I say… the best hotel we’ve stayed at so far. The staff was extremely friendly and eager to provide information. Spacious rooms, a gorgeous bathroom, and a simply spectacular view. You can grab a drink at the hotel bar and sit at the tables across the street to enjoy the wonderful view. Both nights we ate at the restaurant and had a wonderful time (there’s even a menu dedicated to vegetarian and vegan options). The staff was extremely kind and very friendly. Breakfast is always served in the restaurant; there’s a small buffet, and you can also order hot dishes. It was very good. The restaurant fills up very quickly (we stayed over the weekend), and the staff actually sent us an email a few days earlier recommending that we make a reservation. The only downside is that the parking lot isn't very big if you're traveling by car. Other than that, thank you so much for the wonderful two days.
Sehr gutes Restaurant und Frühstück,
A clean ,tidy and comfortable hotel is only part of a hotel experience Food and staff are even more important. We had an over night b& b with evening meal package. and from booking on line to checking out the experience was perfect. I would particularly like to thank the staff at reception and the restaurant staff. All in all an excellent experience and we have promised ourselves a return visit but longer this time
Nothing to fault at this lovely hotel. Immaculately clean! Amazing food! Outstanding staff! Beautiful views! Special thanks for the early check in. Notified room was ready early. Not often this happens at other hotels! Our room was spacious with the best bed, large en-suite, walk in shower and beautiful views. Parking on site. All staff are pleasant and helpful. There’s a great atmosphere in this place. Special thanks to Megan who looked after us in the restaurant morning, noon and night! The bbq ribs are the best as well as the sea bass and steak and well everything was really. Book early as this place is popular with visitors and locals. The Bayview is really excellent. Trevor runs a fantastic place with an excellent team! We will be back that’s for sure. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Location and staff lovely
Location, clean, well staffed.
An excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable rooms, a great restaurant with a very good choice of food. Worth visiting for a meal or stay. Recommended.
Lovely location, hotel clean and not too busy
Nothing enough parking
The location gave us easy access to all we wanted to see. The views were beautiful. The room was comfortable and the hotel was very clean.
No complaints.
Great view of the water and harbor from the bedroom and a clean and comfortable room. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was excellent! Great location to beaches and trails.
No onsite parking but was still able to parking in close proximity. Not much commercial activity in town.
Brilliant views of the bay
Nothing
We rayed in an amazing room [102] with raised lounge area that had full height semi-circular windows providing a panoramic view of the Bay. Two Stressless recliners provided the perfect seating to enjoy the view. We ate in the hotel’s restaurant which was very busy, great atmosphere. Breakfast very good.
Super Hotel in top Lage.
Excellent
Bedside plugs as I use sleep app machine and had to look for extension
Everything was just perfect. Friendly, helpful and happy staff. Exceptional food fairly priced. Good sized room and the view of the bay was delightful.
The pillows weren’t the most comfortable.
Pleasant staff and clean
Food menu trying to hard to be fancy keep it like a family run business as it is
Staff were extremely helpful
It is a lovely place to chill out and enjoy the beautiful view
Grosses Zimmer, gute Ausstattung, tolles Bad.
Everything, from the ambience to the delicious food 👍
Nothing
Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location, amazing views, vegan menu.
Nothing. Can't think of a single thing that was disappointing in the slightest.
Just back from a 2night stay in suite102. Room and view was amazing ,food was 5star as were the hotel staff. Nothing was to much trouble for the very well manner staff, will be back soon. Thank you Bayview . Robert .
Beautiful little hotel with fantastic views, staff very friendly, lovely food in the restaurant and EV chargers available which is very handy!
Everything very nice, just not much breakfast choice for kids( fussy eaters), but as for the older audience food was just perfect tasty and local
Just back from our first stay in Bayview hotel. Everything about this hotel was excellent. Clean, comfortable rooms, delicious food and friendly helpful staff. We will definitely be back
Absolutely wonderful stay. My partner & I stayed for two nights in March 2026 after a couple of nights in Belfast. The sea view room was wonderful. We took the bus to Port Rush one day then did an 8 mile coastal hike along the coast to the Giants Causeway the next (you don’t need to go that far, it’s probably under and hour through the dunes if you go direct). The food is incredible and the staff are wonderful. Highly recommend.
We spent five nights here in a beautiful sea view junior suite. The room was really lovely, very spacious with a comfortable seating and an amazing view across the bay. It was extremely well-furnished and equipped. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed having a bath as well as a shower in the room. Breakfast was excellent and we ate in the hotel most evenings as the food was so good! Staff were very helpful and service was excellent. The hotel is well located for lovely walks, golf and touring the area. We hope to return!
Hotel staff and setting excellent .
Fabulous hotel, myself and my wife spent 3 nights from 2nd to 5th of March, from start to finish everything exceptional, Trevor an amazing host and his staff so friendly and welcoming, food outstanding my favourite pork belly with scallops one of the best dishes I have ever tasted, will definitely return
We booked a 1 night stay for our mother’s 70th birthday. We had 3 rooms and all three rooms were lovely. Our parents had a room with great views looking out to sea, the other 2 rooms didn’t have the great views but those rooms were really big with comfy beds and super clean. Each room had a coffee machine and plenty of storage. An iron and ironing board was also provided in the room. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries that were provided were really nice. A none slip bath mat was also provided. Each and every staff member was wonderful. We had a pleasant welcome from the staff at check in who gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We had a table booked for dinner in the restaurant and those staff couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was excellent. Likewise at breakfast everything was superb. It was a wonderful stay for a special occasion.
The room was very spacious, there were excellent breakfast selection in a lovely setting with a sea view
we will ask for room with a sea view in future, as we only had a car park view
Spent Valentines night for our 50th anniversary. Location perfect, Superior seaview room. Bed so comfortable, bathroom spacious with jacuzzi bath and great shower. Had a lovely lunch in the restaurant and then drinks and dinner. Meals were delicious as was breakfast and I also chose here because they had a good choice of vegetarian dishes for hubby. Great selection of cooked breakfasts and after brought our coffees over to sit in front of the fire. All the staff were so friendly and big shout out to Alice in the restaurant for being so hospitable. Will be back.
When booking I left a note to say it was my dad's birthday - when he went into the room there was balloons and a card - lovely touch.
No issues.
I liked Fiona who answered the phone and was polite and as helpful as can be. The view from our breakfast table.
The ladies at reception were not all that friendly and seemed bothered at check in. They could smile and make you feel welcomed. It was bayview and we viewed the parking lot from an awkward disabled room. The sheets were somewhat stained and the towels were actually rough and grey. It was gross. For one night, we delt with it and moved on. The onsite restaurant was not good. I can say it was clean as the waitress whipped out a dust buster next to people eating to dustbust the shelves and knick knack area. Food was not good and coffee was worse. Breakfast was cold scrambled eggs cooked to order but I didn’t order cold toast, cold eggs and a vat of instant coffee. I realize this sounds harsh but what we paid for the room was extremely disappointing after staying for nearly the same price in a Donegal hotel that treated you like family and you received the royal treatment.
Great location Great staff Good restaurant
I liked everything. The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the sea, and the waves were crashing on the shore and rocks. Had GF corn flakes and soya milk with fresh fruit salad and coffee. The next morning, I had the same plus poached eggs and bacon. In the evenings, we had dinner at the hotel, and because of my food intolerances and the foods I don't eat anyway, I was able to omit certain items from the set menu. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Two photos were taken from the balcony of our room. We went to Derry for the day by train from Coleraine. 40 min journey: £15 return. Lovely day walking around the city.

Just back from an overnight stay here, as always such comfortable place to stay. In a cold January it is so warm and comforting. My advice would be book a bedroom with seaviews, it's worth it. Bedrooms are a good size and well appointed. Enjoyed an excellent meal at night and a great breakfast.
We have just returned from a two day break at the Bayview Hotel. A very homely hotel with friendly & efficient staff, led by the owner, Trevor. It is worth booking a room with a view, at the front of the hotel. The food is delicious ..a great selection from the buffet & also for the cooked breakfast .Evening meal also gives guests plenty of choice. We look forward to a return visit very soon
Beautiful hotel, very well managed. Food, service, cleanliness all top notch with amazing sea view. Great for coeliacs. Would highly recommend
The Bayview Hotel is nestled in a stunning spot with a lovely view of the sea. The cosy fire, as seen in the picture, is always burning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere- especially on chilly days. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the service is consistently excellent. We've visited many times and look forward to coming back again and again.
The location was perfect, the views of the ocean were gorgeous. Room clean and presentable and was cosy and warm.
Only thing I’d say is when I booked an ocean view room the picture came up as above however the room we got was smaller but still had the views
Lovely comfortable hotel, beautiful location. Food in the restaurant was lovely. Very cosy bar and restaurant.
The Bayview is an excellent destination for food and drinks. Although we haven't stayed there since we have a house nearby, we're confident that the service and accommodations would be outstanding. The bar's decor is fresh, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, with fabrics that exude quality. However, what truly stood out for us was the service that night. On a bustling New Year’s Eve, we were impressed by Trevor's professionalism as he moved around the room, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of. When we found ourselves in need of a ride back to Bushmills early in the early evening and the rain started pouring, he kindly arranged for Scott, the barman, to drive us home—making three trips! While we understand this is likely not the norm for customers it was greatly appreciated, especially since no taxis were available in the area. We look forward to returning soon!
An exceptional hotel. Staff led by Trevor are outstanding. All areas are spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Bedroom was spacious. Food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious and a good range of choices. Views from seaview bedrooms and restaurant are magnificent. Would thoroughly recommend the Bayview.
View was amazing, especially in the morning. Breakfast was good, very friendly staff. Dinner was actually a highlight - I did not expect such a nice experience in a small village.
Bed was not the most comfortable. There was no way to increase heating more than 22C.
Location was superb The hotel was so cozy and staff are all very fiendly the evening meal we had was delicious and very reasonably priced
The price of drink was little to expensive Breakfast wasnt great. I had the ulster fry lot of the items were cold the soda and potatoe bread toasted not fried. More like an ulster grill
Music was playing till early hours of moring down stairs in the bar
Music was playing till early hours of moring down stairs in the bar
Just back from the most peaceful and luxurious 2 days at the Bayview Hotel. I had been previously with parents but it was my partners first time. We were simply blown away by the cleanliness, decor, outstanding food and attentiveness of the staff. Everything was 10/10!! We have travelled a fair bit and kept commenting that the hotel looked brand new. Everything was shining, no worn seats, not a speck of anything out of place, no unattended tables… Beautiful touches throughout the bar area showcasing local sporting talent such as road racing, golf and football. Makes it seem so local It’s a homely but luxurious spot, not clinical. We would and will recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you for such a wonderful stay and we will definitely see you again!
Tranquil stay with super views beautiful food 5 ⭐
Staying at the Bayview hotel is a lovely experience. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the breakfast/dinner excellent! Views from the bedroom are exquisite, bedroom and bathroom clean and the coffee / tea facilities well stocked. We have stayed many times before and have never been disappointed.
We stayed here 15 years ago with our kids and I always vowed to return so this weekend we took a one night Winter By the Waves package for my birthday. A magnificent Junior Suite overlooking the sea with two comfy recliner chairs to facilitate the view. Three course meal, complimentary Irish Coffees, full Ulster Breakfast, free parking and free wifi all included for £298. I even got complimentary birthday balloons on arrival and a bespoke birthday dessert. Spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed with friendly attentive staff and excellent service. We had lunch and dinner and enjoyed a post dinner drink by the open turf fire on a wild winters night. Only surpassed by the walk along the coastline in the crisp sunshine the following morning, with some great pointers and local tourist information from our breakfast waitress. I can highly recommend this small cosy hotel. Well done to Trevor and all the team. We will be back.
We have stayed here quite a few times and always get a decent nights sleep
