The only thing good I have to say is that if you’re going to the Ken Ding night market, it is in a very convenient location.

The bed was uncomfortable and too short, the room had a big red light that couldn’t be turned off, there was no hand soap in the room, there was no sound proofing from the hallway out of the room, and worst of all the owner knocked on the door and attempted to bother us in the middle of the night when our lights were already off. Completely unacceptable. We had planned to stay 2 nights and cut our stay short to find another hotel.

Not far from the bus stop where you get dropped off. Night market appears right outside the place. Good beach nearby. Very quiet and peaceful inside the hotel. Great view from the hotel (we had Mountain View).

Mr. Yi was very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location, with easy access to Kenting's night market. Enjoyed having a balcony and a large, clean, spacious room.

The WiFi was inconsistent, occasionally slowing down or briefly pausing.

Das Zimmer war groß, das Bad mit super Ausblick ins Grüne und einen Berg. Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und unser Zimmer mit Gartenblick war total ruhig. Wir konnten jeden Tag einen Affen im Baum beobachten.

部屋にシャワーはあったがバスタブはなく、テラスもなく、窓も隣の建物で部屋からの景色が見れなかった。一番安い部屋を選んだ結果だろうが選択の際に部屋のコンディションがもっとわかると良かった。 部屋自体は問題なく快適でした。 色々アクティビティもありだが到着時間を考えると連泊すべきであった。

WiFi doesn’t work in my room 202

Room was very spacious and attractive and had all we needed. Right in the thick of things although if we picked a room facing the back of the building it would have been quieter than having our balcony on the main road.

Une chambre vaste et un lit confortable. La salle de bain est commode. Le balcon très apprécié.L’emplacement est parfait et l’isolation phonique est excellente ( malgré la fête, pas de gêne !) . Les moins: quatrième étage sans ascenseur !!!! Et le petit déjeuner, bien que bon, assez succinct !

We loved everything!! There was no elevator but our room was so good for its price!! The owner was also so friendly and there’s cleanup everyday, and the night market was just outside, also the bus station (if you don’t have a vehicle like me) is just outside, and the beach is just a walking distance. If I would go back to kenting, I’d definitely choose this over a hotel.

Kenting is not a place to go in Taiwan.Accomodation had problematic internet making it hard for me to work.There is bad foog and bad night market in town

We were given a room upgrade in lieu of breakfast due to our planned room having some repairs being done. The location of the hotel is great; right on Kenting's main street and conveniently reached by bus from Zuoying (Kaohsiung) where the high-speed rail terminates.

The place was a little run-down and dated, though still acceptable and overall a comfortable stay.

The room was clean and attractive with a nice view of the back treed area. A basic room. Lacked seating in the room such as a desk area. One inside wooden chair provided. It was very central to the market and we walked to two beaches. One beach, the closest, apparently was not recommended for swimming. The second beach down the road was the touristy one with lifeguard and a restaurant area. We enjoyed that. The room is not ideal for an older person ( I am 62) for safety reasons. The shower is in the tub and not easy to get in and out. No grab bars. The floor area also has a section with a drop to a different level of about 5 inches. I travelled during this trip from China ( stayed in Shanghai and Beijing) and travelled into Taiwan and stayed at 5 different places. The breakfast here was the worst. Very disappointing to arrive and receive a coupon for food down the street. Very small breakfast could be obtained there. The facility also does not have a common area except for the receiving desk area. So one is limited to staying in your room. We were out mostly so this was not an issue but may be for others so I note it. Also no elevator.

I am not sure how this property has such a high rating. It does not look at all as in the pictures and is really old and not in the good condition. For sure not worth the money you pay for it. Here are just a few things: - the beds and linen are uncomfortable and low quality. - the towels where yellow and stained - there was only one socket in the whole room where we had to charge everything next to the sink - there is no soap next to the sink, you have to get some from the shower - the bathroom feels like its directly in the room - breakfast can only be served between 10-11 am - very strange hours, so we missed out on it twice - I specifically looked for a accommodation with parking. That was also false advertising because we were just adviced to park on the street, which was impossible on a Saturday when there is a market. So we ended up having to park further in the parking lot that ended costing us a lot extra. - last and not least you need to pay cash upon arrival and get no receipt.

We tried to alert the front desk via booking.com that we were going to arrive early. We received no response and had to sit in the lobby for a while until someone came to the desk. They did let us check in an hour early and leave out luggage so it wasn't a problem.

Super kind staff. very close to beach, bus station, breakfast place. very safe and quiet although located right beside night market. luckily we could check in earlier since we arrived around noon. windows had mosquitoe net :-)

We were expeciting a much simpler hotel and we ended up liking the place a lot. It's nicely located in the main street and 2 minutes from the bus stop. Suring the night, the market is right at the doors of the hotel. The lady owner doesn't speak much English but can easily communicate using her phone, so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast is not at the hotel but at a restaurant nearby. It's basic but tasty.

We were happy with everything.

The accommodation met the standards of the description and matched the photos that were used on the website. Despite being on a very busy, loud road the room was very sound proof. The Mountain View was a great addition too. Very spacious room which made the stay comfortable.

The air-con in our room did not work properly and every time we used it, it fell off the wall. The door to the toilet did not reach the floor nor the felling so we someone was using the bathroom, you could hear everything going on - this might just be more of a personal comment.

We loved the mountain view! We also liked that the property is situated right in the middle of everything. It's very close to the beach and eating places.

The location, the layout of the room, and the owners were great. Every night, the night market was right outside the door.

Sometimes at night, the sheet covering the mattress would come loose and expose the mattress. Also, the hotel has no breakfast facility. Instead, we were given tokens for breakfast at a restaurant two blocks away. I would prefer to pay a higher room rate and eat a better breakfast than go to the restaurant to which the hotel refers their guests.

To choose the room to the side of mountains was good idea, because the other part of the house face big street, where the night market takes place in the evenings. The host was nice, communication was smooth.

Room on the top floor was quiet but loud neighbors could be heard through the room door.

Better don´t eat food in the room. There are some ants. Breakfast option with the coupon are limited.

Basic breakfast was at a restaurant nearby. Beach within a few minute walk. Night market right outside for entertaining evenings.

Location was good. In the morning it was like abandoned place but in the evening it was like food festival and so crowded.

Administration was really bad. First time in my experience of using booking.com that I was left with a sour taste in my mouth. At the time of booking, I was aware that the booking was 50% non-refundable, and after booking the accommodation, I received the message that I need to make 50% deposit via bank wire or PayPal (which we were absolutely unfamiliar with). It must be done within 48 hours, failing which the booking would be cancelled. (They did not accept payment by credit card!) After some attempts to communicate with the accommodation and failing to be understood, we finally managed to make the deposit via PayPal. To our consternation, we were told at the reception on arrival that they did not receive our deposit. We were told that they did not have PayPal, had no idea how to access PayPal, that never in their years of service in this line had they encounter such an experience!! We were made to feel that the whole thing was our fault! It was only after we showed them the acknowledgment of payment made via PayPal from the accommodation, and the message we received from Booking.com that PayPal is one of the options through which payment can be made, that they reluctantly agreed to look into the matter. Later they told us that they contacted Booking.com but was told that it is not true that they specify that the deposit be made via PayPal!!! It was at the end of the day that the staff member told us they would accept responsibility for the "loss" of their 50% deposit. What a bad start to our stay at Kenting!!!

spacious and clean room, right on Kenting street, easy check in, friendly staff and great view from spa like bath tub (highlight of the stay). I also liked how quiet our room was at night as it was facing the mountains, even though the hotel is right on Kenting street right where the night market action is.

Room at 1F is quiet small and no windows. If you would like to stay conformatable, recommend upgrade room but no elevater, only steps to the room. Don't bring heavy buggages.

I really recommend this hotel is excellent the staffs are very approachable. It is near the night market and bus stop. We will surely come back next time.

great location right in the centre of the night market! we walked to xiaowan for swimming, to the reggae bar for drinking, and very close to the busstop to go to hengchun, fangliao and kaoshuing. lovely to have a breakfast voucher included. great to have a fridge in the room.

the accomodation was great but not a lot of facilities to make our own tea and prepare food, but the hosts were kind enough to give us spoons. i would have liked a chair on the balcony.

地點就在墾丁大街上，真的超方便！而且住在後面的房間非常安靜，風景也很漂亮。房間很大佈置很溫馨漂亮！浴缸也很大很舒適。美中不足的是民宿沒有電梯、房間內沒有小桌子可以吃東西，還有插座有點少。

無免費停車位, 極度不方便

可惜無特約停車場.路邊公有停車區域先到先停.不過在施工中.等於沒有 房間偏小可攜帶寵物.門外就是墾丁大街.地理環境是好的

越野比賽後，能有浴缸泡冰水是一大享受，山景可以看到大小尖石山、超棒

The room was huge and clean. Although the owner of the place does not speak English, she tried Google translator and we could talk. Overall satisfied.

民宿的房間和床很大也算舒適,但三樓沒電梯對老人家比較辛苦... 在墾丁大街旁,很熱鬧好逛,停車卻不太方便!

地點在墾丁大街上，一樓常沒有人看顧，房間面大街的窗戶隔音好，但房門那頭的隔音就稍差。房間乾淨、空間大(四人房)。

到樓下已經是夜市大街，我住的房間係背向大街山景房，所以嘈吵，房間大，床舒適，但浴室發現有蟻，不過後面是山也了解，唯一是沒有電梯，如果拿重行李就要考慮！

房間非常漂亮 空間也很大 最喜歡小露台的設計 連露臺的地磚都很乾淨白天還可以遠眺到大灣的海景 浴缸的設計也很別緻 主要是寢具的部分也很有質感 整體來說CP質非常破表 民宿的接待人員也很親切友善 非常喜歡 希望下次可以再入住

Fantastic mountain view from the bathroom hot tub facing Kengting National Park. In the beginning, we were a bit worried about this property is right next to the busiest Kengting Street. But it turns out our worry wasn’t necessary - for the soundproof of this property is amazing and we only heard the birds chirping and cicadas singing even if we opened the window. Good location and very affordable price. Highly recommendable for couples.
