Nos chambres et nos lits ne correspondaient pas à la réservation sur Booking, qui indiquait 2 chambres triple. En arrivant nous n'avions que 2*lits doubles et on nous a fait payer un supplément par nuit pour avoir 1 matelas par terre en plus dans chaque chambre. Ils n'ont rien voulu savoir et m'ont fait payer plus cher que l'écart indiqué entre les chambres doubles et mes chambres triples composées de 3 vrais couchages. Très frustrant : on a l'impression d'être pris en otage quand on est sur place, le soir même.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Buena situación en el pueblo de Kuala tahan, muy cerca del río y el embarcadero para pasar al P.N Taman Negara. Caminando son 5-10 minutos hasta el río y la zona de restaurantes flotantes. Habitación sencilla con lavabo, pero amplia y limpia. El agua para ducharse salía templada.
El precio es un poco caro y en la habitación se echa en falta una neverita pequeña para guardar el agua. En una zona con tanta humedad y calor cuando vas a beber agua de la botella está caliente.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026The lodge is situated nice. We were lucky to have a room with a sitting area in the shade. The room was OK it could have been cleaner, but was OK. Check-in was with an envelope. It was very fast that way.
So as described the check-in was fast and that was a bit the problem. No one was there... Or when someone was there they hid below the counter looking at their phone. That was weird... The wifi didn't work and the sign explaining it, didn't look like it was new. Our TV in the room had a piece of tape on it saying under maintenance. We didn't want to watch it, but that reflected the wifi problem.

Ingen personal på plats. Ingenstans att packa upp. Låset på dörren var trasigt. Det var smutsigt. Så det faktum att färgsättningen var bedrövlig kändes som en petitess i sammanhanget.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026La stanza aveva una bellissima vista sul fiume ed è molto vicina alla partenza dei tour e ai ristoranti galleggianti. Self check-in molto facile in quanto ci hanno lasciato la chiave in una busta con il nome alla reception (chiusa). Comodo lo stendino in dotazione. Non organizzano escursioni ma mi hanno fornito un ottimo contatto prima del mio arrivo.
La stanza familiare è veramente molto piccola per 4 persone

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Hotel bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied de l'embarcadère.
Propreté: la chambre n'était pas nickel (papier sous les lit, poussière) et n'a jamais été nettoyé au cours de notre séjour de 3 nuits. Équipement: nous ne comptions pas la regarder mais la télé était hors service. L'étagère en métal était rouillée. D'après l'annonce il y a des produits d'hygiène. En effet, nous avons eu 1 tube de 10ml de gel douche et un autre de shampoing... Et c'est tout. Un peu léger pour une chambre de 4 personnes, et pour 3 jours... Et comme personne n'est venu faire la chambre, nous n'avons pas eu de reassort. De même pour les dosettes de café. Et comme la personne de l'accueil n'était quasiment jamais là (vient 1h et repart, absence toute la journée...) nous ne pouvions rien demander s'il y avait un souci. Literie: les draps étaient jaunis. De plus il y avait un drap housse sur le matelas, des taies sur les oreillers mais pas de housse de couette. Donc tous les visiteurs ont utilisé et ont dormi (et je ne parle pas du reste...) avec cette couette, que vous posez ensuite sur vous...

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026The location of the hotel was not far from the center of Kuala Tahan and the boat departure. The availability of cold and warm water was nice, even if we discovered it with other visitors and not with the staff. The Hotel is giving the possibility to dry clothes outside but the humid air of Taman Negara is not helping so much. ( it is not the fault of the hotel :) ). As we arrived earlier than expected, the staff was nice and allow us to drop our bags in the reception. We really appreciated it.
Some of the device were not working ( TV ) or poorly working ( Air Condition ). The bathroom was quite basic. The hotel of having only few rooms with the river view so low chance to have the nice view. The staff is not always available, the reception is closed during the night ( not a real issue but important to know ). It is important to know that the hotel is located close to the mosque, so do not be surprize of early prayer call.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Het uitzicht vanaf de veranda is geweldig. Je kijkt naar de rivier en de restaurants op het water. Je zit overal dichtbij.
Het onderkomen is eenvoudig en prima als je ook rekening houdt met het feit dat je vlak bij een oerbos zit. De ruimte is beperkt en meer dan voldoende. De eerste keer schrik je nog van de gekko maar zodra je weet dat-ie niks doet is het oké.

Le semblant de réparation de la chasse d'eau cassée et le fait que sur trois nuitée personne ne soit venu vider la poubelle des toilettes alors que les papiers usagés doivent être jetés dans la poubelle.

Esta todo muy sucio, no limpian ni lo básico. Por la noche tuvimos varios ruidos y sonidos de bichos y animales dentro de la habitación porque ni siquiera la ventana cierra bien, el baño estaba muy sucio.

- Our key was left in an envelope for us to collect, didn’t see the staff, felt impersonal. - Room could do with a deep clean. There was a bottle cap and dust on top of the wardrobe, a few cobwebs here and there. Mould on the bed headboard. - The AC took time to get going.

Przed pokojem krzesełka i stolik do spędzenia czasu na zewnątrz. Niektóre pokoje mają widok na rzekę reszta ma okno na korytarz lub ulice. Bardzo miła i pomocna obsługa!
Łazienka wymaga remontu, dziury na łączeniu ścian zatkane papierem! Ciśnienie wody jest słabe ciężko umyć włosy.

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026Zimmer gemütlich, mit toller Aussicht auf den Fluss. Wunderschön auch der Gesang des Muezzin aus der Moschee gleich nebenan. Es gab auch kaltes und heißes Wasser, Tee, Kaffee. Zimmer lässt sich auch mit kurzem Einsatz der Aircon schnell abkühlen.
Es gibt keine Zimmerreinigung während der Mietzeit. Es wurde auch der Müll nicht geleert. Das Zimmer war sauber, aber nicht gründlich sauber, d.h. in manchen Ecken gab es schon etwas zu beanstanden.

The location is perfect, with restaurants and the jetty all within walking distance, which made everything very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Reviewed Sep 6, 2025Prima ligging dicht bij het dorp en met uitzicht op de rivier. Airco deed het en er was stromend water en elektra. Anders dan we vooraf hadden gelezen waren de bedden al gedekt.
Flauw straaltje water uit de douche en erg klein wasbakje. De kamers zijn erg gehorig en heel basic. Maar kijkend naar de andere slaapgelegenheden denk ik dat dit een uitstekende keus is geweest.
