There was no Wi-Fi during my trip, but that wasn't a problem.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Everything was really good if you like hostel. You pay for a bed and a clean place with a good view on the top of that. Jason is a fantastic guy that helps when he can. Activities are proposed at the desk and the terrace is amazing with the view to relax the evening.

We felt very comfortable, it was always clean, the room comfortable cool when we arrived, the view from the terrace pretty. there is a water dispenser with even hot water, cold drinks for sale in the fridge. Upfront communication was very easy and helpful to organise stuff and the other guests were friendly too. The night tour guide we booked via Jason was absolutely amazing.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Emplacement au top au plus près de la rivière et de l'embarcadère pour traverser en direction du parc, et à 5 min à pied du terminal de bus. Dortoir plutôt confortable avec chouette vue sur la rivière, et c'était très calme. Proximité des restaurants.
Les sanitaires ne sont pas les plus pratiques à utiliser ni les mieux entretenus. Surtout, les interrupteurs pour la lumière n'ont aucun sens et vous risquez d'éteindre la lumière dans une pièce occupée par quelqu'un d'autre. Dortoirs un peu petits pour du 6 lits.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Le gérant Jason est très sympathique, il s'adapte aux besoins des clients pour permettre à chacun une expérience optimale de taman negara. Nous avons fait la randonnée pour la cascade Teras avec une excursion dans un village aborigène puis un tour en bateau dans les rapides. Une activité qui a été facilité par les excursions proposées directement par le logement.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026El hostal está en un sitio privilegiado, en frente del río y con vistas a la selva. Está a 1 minuto de la barca que te lleva al otro lado del río para visitar la jungla. Jason es un anfitrión excelente, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar y a hacerte la estancia más agradable. Buena terraza para compartir con otros viajeros o para descansar después de un día de excursiones. Habitaciones espaciosas y limpias. Repetiría sin dudar, totalmente recomendable! :)

Reviewed Apr 14, 2026Het hostel lag op 1 minuut lopen van de ferry die je, voor een kleine vergoeding, naar het national park brengt. Verder zijn de kamers schoon en is de eigenaar super vriendelijk en wilt hij met veel maar al te graag helpen! Je kan ook leuke activiteiten boeken bij het hostel.
Badkamers zijn wat verouderd maar verder wel schoon.

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026Jason has created a special place! A calm but sociable feel in the hostel, always there to help with anything you need. It’s close to restaurants and the river, could have stayed for weeks. Never needed to wait for a bathroom to use. Lots of great tour options to book directly through the hostel. A fun and relaxing few days!
No outside guests can socialise in the hostel seating area. I don’t disagree with having rules as they are there for a reason and probably contribute to the great atmosphere, but it could be handled in a more friendly way

Reviewed Feb 8, 2026Lovely, all you’re looking for. This is place is peaceful as locals don’t call for tourist or scam you. There are plenny things to do, all in nature. There is a nice river where you can swim, or you can go for a hike in the national park. If you run out of ideas, the hostel has a few tours that you can book: I’d recomend the night walk and the hike to the waterfalls! One of my best stop in Malaysia if not the best! Terima Kasih Jason!

Reviewed Jan 26, 2026Een hostel met een top locatie en een super vriendelijke host! Je kunt zo met de boot over naar het national park. Ook kun je er gemakkelijk tours regelen via de host. De host probeert er voor te zorgen dat je een top ervaring hebt. Ook is er een super leuk terrasje met een mooi uitzicht!
Het is best gehorig. Als iemand over de gang loopt hoor je dat heel erg en voel je dut ook in je bed.

De kamers en bedden zijn schoon, de sfeer is onwijs goed en Jason (de eigenaar) is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik voelde me hier echt thuis en zou het iedereen aanbevelen! Jason is a very helpful and friendly host, who gives great suggestions to make the most out of your stay. His Lodge is a great place to relax and unwind from visits to the park, and connect to other travellers.
Beds might be a bit short for me since I'm tall, but was not really a problem
