There was an unpleasant odor in the hotel elevators and corridors The reception area and the rooms do not meet the standards expected of a five-star hotel. The restaurant did not meet the expected standard of quality.

The hotel is very beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Ibrahim, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The pool and overall atmosphere were amazing, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Food was good. Friendly staff, good variety. Reception at the food hall is really professional. Staff and the chef are visible asking guests if all is ok and if they need some help etc. That was nice. At our arrival, reception staff was really very friendly and so helpful. I recall Ibrahim and Amr very quickly checking us in, arranging all we needed. A great start to a very nice break away.

I think it will be good to make sure the waiters have new clothes. Some of them is on their last legs although it was clean off course. Also increase cutlery. Not good for guests to run around for spoons especially.

⭐ 0/5 — Extremely Disappointing and Nothing Like the Pictures My family and I booked Grand Ocean through Booking.com because it had a 9.3 rating and the pictures and reviews made it look like a beautiful, relaxing resort. I’m a tourist visiting Egypt, so I relied heavily on those reviews when choosing where to stay. We paid around $700, and honestly, I feel completely misled. As soon as we arrived, it was a completely different experience. The hotel was extremely crowded, and the pool and beach were packed. What bothered me the most was that many people were going into the swimming pool and beach fully clothed in regular clothes instead of wearing swimming suits. This made the pool and beach experience very uncomfortable and completely different from what we expected from a resort. It was also extremely difficult to find seating because people would leave their belongings on chairs and take them even when they weren’t using them. We came here to relax and enjoy time with our family, but instead we were constantly dealing with crowds and struggling to find somewhere to sit. On top of that, the elevator stopped working at times, forcing us to use the stairs, which was especially difficult while carrying our belongings. For $700, I expected a completely different experience. The 9.3 rating and pictures gave us expectations that the actual hotel did not come close to meeting. If you’re a tourist relying on Booking.com reviews, I would seriously think twice before booking this place. Very disappointing. 0/5 from my family.

Place was very clean. Its right in front of the water with a golf car that takes you right to the beach. Theres a restaurant on the beach you can order from which is really nice and convenient.

Breakfast was nice. the beach was great. I loved the way to the beach with the car rounding on a daily basis, was really helpful. I loved the swimming pool, big, spacious and clean, mostly the one close to the beach.

Quite nice resort. The Hotel services are good, the food is quite good and varied enough (I stayed for 5 nights), the pools are nice (especially the large one) and the beach area is good. The staff are excellent.

Beach area not very large and not the most sandy (needs sea footwear) but not too rocky. Activities are good, but they don't cover most of the day.

1/10 — The Worst Hotel Experience I Have Ever Had If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, there was a complete lack of transparency, professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service. I was overcharged at the front desk and left feeling completely scammed, with no reasonable explanation or accountability for the charges. What makes this even worse is that I was effectively denied the services I paid for. The room, pool, beach, and overall facilities were an absolute disappointment. The condition and cleanliness were unacceptable, and the level of service was nowhere near what you would expect from a hotel charging its guests these prices. The treatment of me and my guests was especially disturbing. We experienced what felt like blatant bias, discrimination, and extremely unfair treatment, despite the fact that some of my guests are actually owners at the property. Instead of being treated with basic respect, we were made to feel unwelcome and deliberately treated differently. Most concerning of all, the way the situation was handled ultimately put me and my younger sisters in a situation where I genuinely did not feel safe. That is completely unacceptable. A hotel has a responsibility to ensure that its guests feel safe and protected—not intimidated, dismissed, or abandoned when a serious issue occurs. There was zero accountability from management, no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation, and no sense that anyone cared about the fact that we had paid for a service that was not properly provided. I have stayed at many hotels, and I have never experienced anything quite like this. Being overcharged is one thing. Being denied services you paid for, treated unfairly, and made to feel unsafe is an entirely different level of unacceptable.

كل شي والموظفين كلهم قمة في الذوق والأخلاق الطيبة والاحترام

. لقد انبهرت بالتعاون الكبير بين العاملين والمديرين، حيث كان الجميع يعمل بتناغم وروح فريق واحدة. خدمة الغرف كانت على أعلى مستوى، وكان موظفو الفندق يرحبون بابتسامة صافية دائماً تعكس صدقهم وحرصهم على راحة النزلاء. ما لفت انتباهي أيضاً هو الاتصالات الدورية التي يقومون بها للاطمئنان على أن كل شيء يسير على ما يرام، وهذا يدل على حرصهم الشديد على تقديم أفضل تجربة ممكنة للزوار. للمرة الأولى أشعر بالاستجمام والراحة بهذا الشكل الممتاز. أتمنى لفندق جراند أوشن السخنة التوفيق والنجاح المستمر، وأخص بالذكر الأستاذ ماهر وباقة الفل اليومية التي كانت تضيف سعادة إلى يومي. شكراً جزيلاً لك ولجميع العاملين على هذا المكان الرائع، وأتطلع للعودة مرة أخرى قريباً.

Calme, bonne ambiance, reposant À 15 minutes de Porto Sokhna.

Nos lits n’étaient pas comfortable, les salle de bains pas assez équipé et pas propres. Wc et cabine de douche pas terrible. Les meubles sont trop vieux. Un peu déçu par rapport à la qualité et le prix. La restauration reste correcte, mais petit quand même, on devait attendre qu’une table se libère pour manger.

C'est un vrai hotel 5 étoiles sans alcool,situé dans une belle station balnéaire, le mobilier la literie sont de bonnes factures et propres , le personnel est vaillant et gentil principalement Mr Maher et Mr Ibrahim à la réception , plusieurs bassins de piscine. La plage est magnifique, les plats sont délicieux et variées, ca se voit que c'est réalisé avec passion, une grande mosquée est mitoyenne à l hotel

Отель велеколепный. Очень понравился и были в восторге Персонал был всегда вежлив и пытались создать конфорт. Упарвляющий отелем Maheer(извеняюсь если не правильно написал имя), лично подходи к каждому гостю, слушал пожелания и максимально решал все возникшие неудобства. Советую этот отель всем кто хочет провести время в тишине и спокойствии в кругу семьи и заботливого персонала.

Были проблемы с интернетом, вопрос решили, но все таки руоковдству отеля стоит обратить внимание как качесво работы, все таки все мы зависим от этого к сожалению(( Ужины были велеколепны! Но завтраки стоит пересмотреть. Так же думаю необходимо пересмотреть время завтраков и ужина)) иногда люди не успевали))

I just wanted to share what an absolutely incredible experience it was staying in such calm and peaceful surroundings, staying away from all the noise and chaos. The vibe was just perfect for relaxing and recharging. A huge thanks to Mr. Amr and Mr. Maher for making our stay truly extraordinary. Their kindness and attentiveness went above and beyond, making everything so comfortable and welcoming. I can’t thank them enough for adding that special touch that made the whole trip unforgettable. Seriously, it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had, and I feel so lucky to have experienced it.

جالنا شويه احباط بسبب ان لشقة اللى اخدناها هى شقة عاديه مش زى غرف الفندق نفسه محتاجه تحديث لانها قديمة ومافيش اى فرش على الارض والتكيف فى البلكونة صوته عالى جدا بس هيا نظيفه وكنا طلبنا سرير اضافى مكنش ليه مكان غير فى وسط الصاله لان الغرف صغيره انها تكفى سرير زيادة ودة كان غير مريح والسرير نفسه مش مريح الشقة مساحتها كبيره بس مش مستغله المساحه كويس كانها شقة عاديه مش فى فندق. الاكل فى العشا يعيبه ان مافيش اى مشروبات غير الميه الجولف كار مش بتشتغل بدرى بتبدا بعد الساعه ١٠ ص وبليل المفروض انها تفضل شغاله لحد ١٢ بليل بس للاسف مش بنلاقيها بعد ١٠ ونص تقريبا ولما سالنا عنها بيقولوا انها فى الشحن فبنضطر نرجع مشى بس المسافه ممكن اختصارها بين المبانى الانيميشن محتاج يجدد فقرة الاطفال متبقاش هيا هيا كل يوم اسعار كافتريا البحر غاليه شويه

Everything was very well organized, and it was clear that the staff work from their hearts to make every guest feel welcome and happy. I would especially like to thank Mr. Maher Kamal, who pays attention to even the smallest details to ensure guests have a memorable experience. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly stand out. A special thanks also to Mr. Amr at the reception. He always greeted us with a warm smile, had a cheerful personality, and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. I also want to praise the hotel's management for creating such a positive culture among the staff. المكان جميل ورائع وطاقم العمل سواءا في الرسيبشن او المطعم او الهاوس كيبينج الجميع رائعون واخص بالذكر الاستاذ محمود مسئول الهاوس كيبينج متعاون جدا ومستوى نظافة رائع الطعام ممتاز جدا سواءا فطار او عشاء

الشاطئ الى حد ما بعيد عن الشاليه وكمان في كمية احجار في اول الشاطئ مزعجة لمسافة حوالي 10متر حتى تجد الرمل تحت الماء لا يمكن النزول في البحر بدون اكوا شوز الى جانب تلوث هذه الحجارة ببعض الزيوت ارجو الاهتمام بهذا الموضوع

The hotel provided 2-bedroom apartment which was very clean, and equipped with all what we needed. The apartment overlooked the pool, and 2-mins walk from the beach. The food was good, the only drawback was that there was no juice at the breakfast. The chef and head chef were very nice and always welcoming. Mr Amro at the reception was very nice, and the check-in was very smooth and quick, and he always called us back to check if we are missing anything. Mr Mahmoud from the room service was also a very nice person, who spare no time to provide us with all the things we needed

Most of what i experienced, my stay wasn't long

Staff is very friendly and helpful, room service is good and rooms are clean. sear view from balcony and some rooms was amazing. Breakfast and dinner buffet has many choices and of good quality.

Beach needs lots of work, big stones and an uneven surface, half of the beach is covered with yellow sand and then there is a big step down then rocks before the sea which makes it not kids friendly. water bark is working but need some renewals.
