Relatively a new hotel , like the hotel , cleanliness

Incompetent staff , I had a problem with the key , reported a several time to the staff at front desk , they said they will take care of it but they never did and I was getting charged again to exit out of their parking lot

The property was immaculate and staff were very attentive.

Location and rooms are very well maintained. Food was good but more options would be good to add in breakfast.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Really beautiful and comfortable, lovely rooms, beautifully appointed reception area/lobby. Bedroom was modern, well maintained and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. Staff were so polite. I couldn't fault anything, but i didn't try the restaurant. Hotel is good value for a more upbrand experience. The location is Chinatown, which is some distance from the main centre of LA, so it's best if you have a car. Parking in hotel is $20 a day. It is a pleasant, quiet, location and the area feels very safe. Lots of Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants nearby if you like that kind of food.

I am very fussy about hotels and won't hesitate to criticise. Honestly, i couldn't find anything to crticise here. Originally I booked the Marriott SpringHill Suites (Manhattan Beach area) and after spending a night there i was so disappointed (dirty yucky place) that i changed to the Sheraton San Gabriel. The difference was like chalk and cheese.

The hotel buffet breakfast was not up to my expectations. Not too many food options. But the nearby restaurants offers good options.

I could see the wall paper peeling or splitting at the seams.

Lives up to its standing as a 4 star hotel. Great and quiet rooms, good amenities… also good value (except for the underground parking), and very good staff.

I noticed after three weeks that my deposit was still blocked on my card. I wrote the property here on Booking.com. It's been almost a month since check out and still no answer from the property and the deposit is still blocked. This is very irritating.

The hotel was beautiful, very well kept and very clean. The staff was super helpful and responsive for the few times that we needed something. Most everything was provided and readily available. It was nice to have actual restaurants and a Starbucks directly in the hotel. They were able to accommodate our request for connecting rooms, which made a huge beneficial impact on our stay.

It would have been nice to have had a microwave already in the room without having to request it. The rooms were very spacious and well appointed, so I was surprised that a cot/rollaway was not allowed.

The parking is too expensive and they charged me $84.04 in the lobby and bar even though i didn’t buy anything there on Dec 31 2025.

very clean staff was awesome, heated pool, very quite, close to restaurants walking distance, the food was great, plenty of parking space.

Air conditioning and heater don’t work. First night the room was 80 degrees and very uncomfortable, next morning we told the front desk about it but still didn’t get fixed until in the night when we came back and complained again. A technician came and manually adjusted the balance of hot water located in the ceiling, and then the temperature started to go down. However, it just functioned as a fan and does not heat or cool to the targeted temperature. Second night our room was 66 degrees even if I set to heat to 72. Internet was slow. Parking was extra charge.

The noise in the hallway is noticeable, and the wallpaper is coming off.

Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Lots of space. Staff are friendly. Struggled a bit with WiFi but then it was really good. It was what we expect from the Sheraton

Truthfully, the area and the beds have consistently been a favorite.

Très bel hôtel, chambre propre et agréable. Juste quelques taches sur le petit canapé, mais sinon tout était parfait. Le ménage était fait tous les jours, top !

The pool is located in the courtyard and has very little privacy.

Very modern looking, aesthetics were pleasing. The rooms were big and comfortable. I got the sweet and it was gorgeous and I had an additional bathroom for our guests.

The property it’s itself is beautiful, but the neighboring area had construction going on, so it didn’t look as nice as it could, but that wasn’t a father to us.

Nice friendly staff, room is clean and modern.

Definitely did great for what we needed, only a couple minor issues that were more nuisance than detrimental. The bathroom light had this horrible high pitch sound emitting from it and the water in the shower smelled of sewage for a bit (not sure if we just got used to the smell or it went away)
